Due to changed life circumstances, and traveling to this area less often, we have reduced some of the caches that have required more regular maintenance. This cache has been removed.
Found it with 999hunter. It was not hidden at all so we must covered it with some bark.
My wife was looking for a 30 kilometer plus track for a training run and I suggested the Great Southern Rail Trail as there was a number of geocaches on it that I hadn't found. We started at Meeniyan and she ran to Foster while we drove, walked and geocached our way there.
999HK quickly found this one in open. It looks like the ground may have shifted. Hidden back where we think It should have been with a large bark covering it
Thanks for the cache de ja vu

Hooray!! My 800th cache find. Found out in the open. Put it where I assumed it's proper camo was. Tftc
Coordinates are good. If you’re planning on going to the pub we highly recommend the mussels and also the duck spring rolls
Started looking at a different tree then suddenly spotted a suspicious spot that matched the clue, signed and replaced. TFTC
The air had a crisp bite to it after such a gorgeous day we couldn’t resist a little wander to find “just one more”...! Met a couple of curious wallabies on the track but they didn’t stick around long. A bit of a hunt around and we soon came up with the goods. SL TFTC
This was nice to have some swaps here. The 4 year old selected a north melbourne keyring in exchange for a toy car. And here we thought we had convinced him to be a Bomber! TFTC
Had a blue face here from a long time ago when the big log was down. Fixed it! Tnln tftc

I found this cache spread all over the place. I collected it all together and placed it back where I think it should be.
Catching up with some very late logs
We had set aside a few days to explore Gippsland with alansee endeavoring to aid him reaching 30,000 finds before the Queanbeyan mega event at Easter.
We visited rail trails, parks, mountains seeing beautiful scenery along the way as well as enjoying some lovely walks as well as some easy drive by's. The weather was mostly kind to us enabling us to search for the caches in comfort.
With time constraints today we only looked for those that were less than 500 metre walks from the nearest entry point but we did very much enjoy our strolls along this old railway line. Another trip is required to finish the series
Thanks de ja vu for the cache.

Camped at Dumbalk after returning from Tasmania yesterday. Out for a few caches today. Sieventh for the day, quick find. TFTC
Yay for a cache in the bush that's not a micro. Boo for not having not broken things in there. We've left a bunch of swaps in there for the next people so hopefully there's something people will like. I think it's time we start heading back though as the little legs are getting tired. Tyftc.

Great spot, but no TB in box very sad not to be able to take it back to WA with us.
We had a great day out riding and caching on the trail and if I was really fit we would have gone on longer. We will be back to enjoy a more of this great series. Tyftc
This one took us a little bit but we got it in the end.

We logged it! Was an easy find. All clean and dry so I left a TB here to find its way to other forests. TFTC
Very pleased that I have now found 100 caches .thanks to my lovely geolady sixy2sue for all your help xxxooo
Found on a lovely day out on the GRST! It was a slow ride to this up - after going slightly up hill and riding for a long time, I was so tired! Once I got there, I slowly walked over for a quick find. Lovely area! TNLNSL. TFTC de ja vu!
Finally came back for our second attempt, Yep easy find geokids went straight for it, TFTC
Nice sized container! Nice new log book inside. Love how peaceful it is out here , until a vehicle drives by. TFTC

Ah well. A DNF. It happens. Wondering though if the cache is still there, this being the 4th DNF in a row and the previous history....Jimmytherat
A quick find with frmen1. Thankfully had it signed and put back before muggles rode past. TFTC
Not a hard find but very hesitant to look after seeing photos of snakes here.

The cache was replaced today. Not sure if the cache had "crept", but it certainly wasn't where it should be.
Disappointed not to find this one today. Three of us spent 30 minutes looking high and low and very low. Can the CO check on this one, it may have creeped.
This had suffered serious cache creep as it was down the bottom of the hill from where I last found it with the marsh clan. Eventually we found it sitting there and Jouf, RodRick and I placed it back to its rightful place
Quite easy, fun. Added some swaps just for fun. (No snake or blackberries. Yay!)
Travelling around Australia in our Caravan with our cat, we are currently based in Foster.
Headed out today on the Geobikes to tackle some more of the GSRT. A magnificent day today for riding the rail trail. Some of the trail has been dug up by riders on wet days but all dry today. Managed to even get a touch of sunburn. All up today 30km return trip for us, but with no DNF's
TFTC and letting us use Geocaching to tour the local area. Looking forward to meeting other geocachers at the next Australian Geocaching Mega event

No sign of the cache guardian this morning - probably hibernating. We had a few problems with signals and found ourselves waiting by GZ for the reception of the GPSr to improve, to find we only had a few steps to find it. A nice easy cache as it turns out

Nice day out caching with ornursie72, ornursie79 and geo boy. Also a guardian of the cache to beware of.
Found on a great walk . This track should be getting used more than it is. Carroll nz
A big day out caching with friends Liz & Bruce in the Fish creek to foster area. On our bikes mostly along the rail trails and some along the way. Mostly they were fairly easy finds and the co-ords very good. Thanks to de ja vu for hiding this cache.
Today was rail trail day so with two foldup bikes in the car we were on a mission plus our additional aim was to do some of the other caches around this scenic and delightful area. This was one of the caches we targetted and were able to find in conjunction with caching friends LazzaL. Thanks to de ja vu.
Found on our "Making Memories" Tour of Mainland Australia.
Today we explored Foster and surrounds using geocaching as our guide.
Our target today was the GSRT and we thoroughly enjoyed the journey to this series of caches and appreciate the time taken to hide and maintain them for our enjoyment. We were impressed with the quality and variety of the hides. Thanks de ja vu a memorable days caching. To have experienced this trail on a train would have been an awesome experience.

Decided to tackle the Great Southern Rail today on bike so started at Leongatha then on to Koonwarra through to Meeniyan where I stopped for lunch at Moos ( that was yum, well worth it if you are looking for a good feed ) then it was on to Stony Creek then over to Buffalo and across to Fish Creek then down to Foster where I finished, a total of 47.6 km one way. I collected 45 caches along the way and only 3 dnf's. Thanks De Ja Vu for the caches and the series
Out for a stroll with the GeoDogs, and thought that a spot of caching was in order. TFTC
