TFTC, long weekend and doing some caches in the stomping grounds of my childhood
Never been to Nathalia before neat little town and we like it! Needs a few more caches though.TFTC
We are zig-zagging away across a few towns for work today and grabbing a couple of caches along the way. The only one in Nathalia so we thought we better grab it. Was surprised to see a house so close to GZ but very sure it wasnt there when this cache was placed. A quick find here thankfully and nicely tucked away. TFTC.
First cache for today. Stopped for lunch at the bakery. Quick find here while we watch muggles taking photos in the cemetery. TFTC
It's been a very long time since I visited this cemetery having had a very sad distant relative buried here in an unmarked grave.
Bit of a search but thankfully the ever patient geo-wife found it, probably due to lunch beckoning. Relaxing peaceful location. T4TC
The GPS told us it's through the fence, Georgie, or geo- dog, said not there, it's further down with that other tied up dog. He was wrong of cause, but he certainly made us work to follow his path. Finally, dog in hand, we went back for the cache, which was in good condition, and not through the fence. Tftc
Staying in Barmah for a while and went stir crazy.A nice easy find for crazeecat and I.TFTC
During a little circuit around northern Victoria primarily to find TDOC23 caches we were going through this little town and determined to add a smiley to my caching map here. There was a bit of activity going on in the cemetery over the road, but I was able to find the cache very quickly. I love the beautiful little cemetery.
Curly Jefferson boom! Forgot my penThe roses here are absolutely stunning and as big as cabbages
Its sometime since I've been to Nathalia and I'd forgoten how nice it is! The incessant rain over the last few days had made roadside and urban caching go to the top of the list but the other bonus might be that joe blakes are hiding out elsewhere. I'm pretty happy to be out in the park and nature. Each cache has put a smile on the dial so hip hip hooray to PaddyJak. After a marathon trip to SA with some geobuddies its now time to head back east and to higher altitudes. Apart from that, I'm on a multi mission that includes 20 plus caches challenge in various LGA's. TFTC and the FUN.
On a family trip to Nathalia. We found it during a lovely ride along the creek and touring town.big thank you for hiding this. Finally managed to return to circulation a travel bug from another state. From one graveyard to another
The house is being painted, we have an excitable puppy, so we decided to go away for 5 days up to Wakiti near Echuca using our Travel Auctions win. Very good value with lovely owners. Virtually no internet though so catching up on logs now. This morning we were heading off for a day of caching, this was next. Cache was a nice easy find and we explored around town for a bit and had a lovely afternoon tea.

We are heading up to the Shepparton Marathon and taking the long way via Echuca. The plan is to get 20 geocaches in the Campaspe and Moira LGAs and at least 1 cache in whatever NSW LGA Moama is in. Not sure it will happen with our tight schedule, but will see how it goes.
Our first visit to the Moira LGA and the geocache hunt has started.
Pleased when we got here the Police lights and sirens were just far enough away at the other edge of the Cemetery. As such, and with good coordinates, we found this one quickly.
Thanks for the cache Paddy Jak

Found at 2:08 PM GAFF1.
Whenever we see a D1.0 cache we look at each other and say "we are going to be in trouble" - and this was no exception We went around in circles for ages until c-pprass spotted it in an unexpected place. We then pulled up at the nearby park to have our lunch - a lovely spot indeed!
Thanks to PaddyJak

On a road trip to the Rutherglen Mega with the JAMS crew stopping a few times to stretch our legs and grab a cache or two. [^]
A quick find here.
Thanks for the cache Paddyjak.

Thanks for the cache Paddyjak.
Travelling to the Rutherglen Mega and needed a cache in this LGA. quick find.
Found with JAMS (( JJ52, Allister w, Mogni, plus sir_spectre ) Mitchell&hound wasn't with us this trip) crew. All logs stamped as JAMS to save log space. This trip we are off to the Rutherglen Mega and then slowly coming back to S.A. for a total of 8 dys and 7 nights. The targets of this trip are for JJ52 to get 11 more multi to get to 1000 multi's and a few more Victorian LGA's, Allister W was targeting 17 virtuals ( or as many as he could get ) a few more Victorian LGA's Mogni to make the Rutherglen Mega her 20, 000 find and also for her to complete all Victoria LGA's, sir_spectre needs 1 more multi to get to 1000 multi's and get his Victoria LGS's down to 2 LGA's left. We got 20 or more finds in a LGA if we stayed in there over night. We also detoured to stamp any challenge caches that we were " in the general area off " and to complete that challenge before we came back to S.A. This meant that some times dirt road (s) had to be walked down because they were to wet to drive down and/or haven't been repaired since last years flooding. We started off the holiday in the rain and then that cleared up only to start raining and a overnight thunder storm but most of the trip was dry. Over 600 caches found for the trip including over 120 lab stages in that total. Got to complete the GPS Maze at the Rutherglen Mega for a 2nd time. Allister w was the team driver for all of the Victorian part of the trip. I think this was the first trip ever to Victoria that the extension pole didn't get used but the 6.2 meter ladder did get a work out.

On our way to the Vic Mega, with the JAMS crew. A little wet and muddy at GZ.
Thanks

A tractor driver in the neighbouring paddock was sussing out what I was doing.
Log was a bit mouldy.

Second Find for the day. Thank goodness TBS packed the mosquito repellent. I think just about every part of me has been bitten and we’ve only just started.
Can’t believe TBS had a DNF a while ago, must have been an off day.

Heading back to Shepp after a job out the west side of Nathalia thought I would try and rectify this DNF. A quick find today, mustn't have had my Geocaching eyes with me last time. Very happy to turn this frown upside down Nice hide TFTC
Accurate coordinates made this a quick find , all's good at gz Thanks PaddyJack
Today we traversed around the flat country side following many wetlands, creeks and rivers, wow what a great plase to visit. We found many caches and this was one of them.
Cache and contents were in good condition. Had lunch here overlooking the river/creek!!
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

We are in the area looking at silo artwork and we made a detour to look for this cache. A quick search located the cache. Thanks to Paddyjak for the cache.
First find, it took a while but we got there in the end. For any new comers (don't worry we had no Idea what to look for either), the box is about 6x4cm and completely black.
Leaving Benalla we followed the silo art trail to Tungamah
We then made camp at Numurkah beside the creek. A great spot only a couple of caravans here.
Following lunch we toured some of the back roads finding a few caches, whay a great way to visit the area.
We found a variety of caches in some great locations.
I don't know who Bob is but I'm sure glad he recovered & this was not his LKA
Thankyou PaddyJak for placing this cache.
I was looking for something a bit bigger, given the size listed. Found anyway. Log has dried out enough to be able to sign easily. TFTC
Couldn't find this one today. I must be going blind or it's not here. Will be back.
After a picnic lunch in town near the bridge we headed for the dead centre and homed in on this one. All good.
On a road trip from Skipton to Nathalia, and of course picking up some caches along the way. The GPS died of course, so had to rely on places where I had phone reception. Wet cold and miserable down south, but opening up to warmer skies the further north I got. Looks like some building might be happening in the adjoining paddock which might disturb the peace of this cute little cache.
Geocache. Sanitise. Repeat.
Out exploring the area with frmen1.
A quick find. Normally we would have explored the cemetery, but it's just too hot today. Sat in the geo-vehicle and looked in. TFTC

Almost didn't find until I read the activity and then found it straight away! TFTC
Out and about with AESPL. OMG what a search. Finally after a bit of research to guide us on our way we were successful. TFTC.
This was a nice easy find with ilook4geo at a quiet time of the day. All was in good order and the log soon had two more names at the end of the list. Thanks go to Paddyjak for bringing us here by placing this cache.
While out caching with goingplaces2 this was one we found. Cache was located, log was signed, all was replaced as found. TFTC.
Just touring around a small patch of Northern Victoria with BettyBoo3747.
This cemetery needs a multi around it!
A very nice spot.
We toured the town afterwards, some lovely old buildings.
Thanks, Robmc.

#17022. Day 2 of our tiny travelling adventure. Heading home today and gathering a few caches along the way.
We passed Bob's quiet little park on the way to GZ. It looked green and inviting and it was good to see people using it. At GZ we parked in the shade of these lovely trees and I walked the geodogs while Rob searched and found the container. We added our names to the log sheet and continued on our way. There are some lovely old buildings in this town.
Thanks PaddyJak

Very late log. (08/03/2021).We were travelling along and checking for new caches. We stopped at ones where there were no smileys and realized we had found them before. After going through the log we found we had already signed it.
Thanks Paddyjak

Lovely area, was nice to walk the cemetery, then the kids had a play at the park.
Easy find. But smartly hidden.

Thanks for location. While visiting Heritage Centre for tour talk and morning tea with Red Hatter Ladies I took the opportunity to go hunt. Beautiful sunny winters day and quiet location. Signed and replaced as was. Mymanandi
It took a few minutes of searching before this cache was located. It fitted so well into its hide. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks PaddyJak for the cache.
After much searching and confusion by thinking we could get electrocuted, we finally found the geocache!
Thanks PaddyJak!
Thanks PaddyJak!
Decided to go on an adventure today with KarleaJ3 to find our very first Geocache. After much searching, debate of electrocution (don't worry) finally found the shine of the container. Thank you Paddyjak for the small treasure

Getting the chores that brought me up to the river later than I'd hoped, it was approaching dusk as I headed off on the hunt. A milestone was so close I could taste it.
My route took me through Barmah to Nathalia, where this cache was another quick find by torchlight.
PaddyJak, thanks for the smiley.
