This evening, it was the publish of the *Little Library Lab* Adventure Lab that provided the motivation in travelling to Mount Crosby and Karana Downs. It had only been a couple of weeks since we had heavy rains, and there were signs warning that Colleges Crossing was impassable ahead of me, but nevertheless, the Adventure Lab Locations were visited, and I returned back home without issue.
After completing the Adventure Lab and before my departure home, I didn't have too many other geocaches to find, but I did notice this archived geocache that had a good chance of still being present. I also knew the CO from my Adelaide days, and I also thought she'd have a smile if I made this find. So with my night's effort, I thought I would call past this park. I had walked the southern area of this reserve, but not checked out this section, and it had pretty good facilities for me to make a visit in the future, maybe with family Warren. I took a walk through the ivy, and had a pretty good search for around 10 minutes, checking around bases of trees and along logs. Despite there being a good chance that this geocache's remains were still here, I suspect the weather/rains, or muggles may have cleared this cache in the past four years. Thanks anyway JJ52 for the cache placement.

Archiving sadly as I can't maintain properly and this will free up the spot for someone else. [^] It was great when I was visiting regularly and I really loved this park.
Thanks to all those who found it. Cheers.

After a busy caching day yesterday, in the company of WallabyTim & KaleidoscopeCass, and a late night (after midnight) we managed a nice sleep in this morning but there are caches to find so off we go!
True to the past I managed to find the long way in to GZ.
Having just found a cache nearby I decided to Walk through the reserve to this one.
LOL … yeah right, not happening!
Rethought my approach & soon found myself looking at the cache container lying on the ground IPS (in plain sight).
Made our mark & replaced as found but with a little natural cover to protect the cache.

Found it! As others have said- very wet. Geodog tried to bite it :/ THANKS FOE THE CACHE!
Couldn’t figure out where this one was. The Geo-girls were a little bit frightened of all the spiders!

It's been a while since I've found my last geocache so I was a bit out of practice. Had nearly given up when I finally found it! Was quite wet inside - too wet to sign. Tftc
Another cache found on my home-bound commute. I've been to this park before, but it must have been for another cache.
When I arrived there was no one about and I was free to take my time finding this cache, and after a few walk through webs, I spotted the cache. I afraid to say it was full of water, so luckily you have rite-in-the-rain paper. I did my best to dry it our, but it will need a more thorough clean out.
Thanks

The rules of caching changed for me
A couple years ago.
And now as you can plainly see
My logging is quite slow.
I write more than T.F.T.C.
My journey try to show.
Each line is written uniquely
And rhyming has to flow.
But now and then simplicity
Is what I need to know.
Generic rhymes turn out to be
The easy way to go.
I've spent too long on thinking up a way to write this verse -
And so at last I log this one, before things get much worse.

Found with mum and dad because mum said she "needed" a cache. We saw a cane toad sitting in the sun.
After signing the Hidden Dates challenge over two and a half years ago I am now at the pointy end of completing it...only seven to go and the aim of today was to get it down to three (which we did...yay!). This was the second target. Sooo hot in Brisbane today (we are from Toowoomba) so was thankful for a short walk!!! The cache had about half a centimetre of water in the base which we tipped out but there wasn't much we could do about the contents of the ziplock which are damp. TFTC JJ52.
Geogirl found it with geo dog! Wet log. Dried it and gave container a clean. Left some cute swaps!
Eldest of three geo grandkids found it first. A bit damp. The geo grandkids have now signed up and are ready to look for their own smileys. Here comes BigRed17.
Last week of my 5 week visit from Canada. Out for a drive with my son, to get orange juice for Mothers Day brunch. Happy Mothers Day to mothers everywhere!
Log is a bit damp, but still signable.

Out for the day with my daughter Doofus1301 and we thought we would come to a place where we often walk so of we went to this one. After stepping over it about a thousand times we finally spotted a little blue handle. We soon swapped a collectable. Great find after a while of looking.
Tipped water out of cache, log was wet but signed as best as I could. Easy find, no one about. TFTC
Easy lovely find for Mr 5. Swapped in some kiddie swaps, the nose sharpener was a hoot and gleefully brought home! TFTC!
Dropped by late in the afternoon for one cache in particular and grabbed this one on the way in. What a great area, I'd love to come back some time to properly look around.

After spending the weekend at a Scrapbooking Retreat in Brookfield, I visited this area to get info on the Earthcache here.
Parked nearby and walked in to GZ. Found easily as could see it so after signing the logbook and returned it to its hide with more nature's camo.

Found it! Out having a stroll around the bush, and caching along the way, as you do!
Out on a family outing. This was our first for the afternoon and James made the find.
Thanks for the cache!

Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
We headed out to grab a few of the caches around the Bellowrie area today and this one was next up on the list for us. We pulled up in the carpark and after a quick stroll in to GZ we soon had the cache in hand and added our name to the logbook [^]

It's Thursday again which means Mrs Just a Trifle is out and about for a day of fun with the lovely ladies barbbowman and Raynersinoz. We found ourselves in this area in the afternoon so we had a wander along the tracks finding a few caches as we went.
We found this cache easily and with our names added to the log book, we returned to the car to head home.
Thank you JJ52 for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy.

Out caching with Remsjw. He had already found it so I made the quick find today. TFTC!
I had completed a loop around the Anstead Bushland Reserve and found all the caches in there and I was heading back along Hawkesbury Rd to my car.
This cache was the last one to complete and I found that I could have driven to it but as I was already here I decided to find it on foot.
A quick find but I think I was lucky to be standing in the right spot and looking in the right direction.

Out today visiting some of my own caches in the area. Stopped in for a coffee at the local cafe and a.Walk.nice easy hide. Tftc.
Out for a Whacky Wednesday with IolantheK. We had a few targets for today. Two paddle caches at different points on the river and then just find some caches.
We had been for our paddles and we were now up to the just find some caches bit of the day. We had stopped to refuel and we were good to go for the rest of the afternoon.
IolantheK kindly let me come and do this one. She had already found this one. The added bonus of a tiolet was handy too.
The container was out in the open, so this was a nice easy find today. I left it tucked under a bit of

Having a rare day off during the week and decided to head out this way and take a few photo for my family research (my ggf owned and operated the nearby quarry) and to find a cache or two
Now to the cache......found dry and in good condition. Following finders will need to remember a writing stick.
Thanks
What better place to look for a cache when there is a superbe coffee place near by. We are visiting family in Moggill so KcJLogan came as well. Lovely park near by. TFTC
Easy find once the mobile settled down and gave us a correct. Found by the youngest geokid!
Was taking a little bit of a different way home and this was on the way so I decided to make the stop and have a look.
Took longer to get rid of the spider webs on the way in then it did to find and sign the log.

Took me a little while to find as my GPS had me about 15m from the GZ. A widening of the search and I soon had the cache in hand. The log was a little damp but still able to be signed. TFTC.

For the first time I met with other geocachers looking at the same time. Success for both. TFTC
Didn't get this cache last time i was in the area due to time, tiredness and people having a picnic close by. Today i was heading past this area to another cache and decided i would do a very quick park and grab. Much easier then i expected with the ratings. Cache in good condition, though not sure it is meant to be exposed the way it was. I gave it a little bit of cover to make it a bit less obvious, but the hint i guess isn't relevant in its current location. Thanks for placing this one here JJ52.
Only had my phone with me today that was low on battery. Managed to find the cache though, so all is good. I didn't even know this picnic spot existed. TFTC!
Had to wait for a learner driver to finish parking practice, then a quick dive into the GZ

Today we made again roadtrip on our holiday in Australia enjoyd the views and on the way found some caches
TFTC. #406. It took a little bit of walking around in circles before I locked in on this one. There were 3 horse floats here and a few riding nearby. Definitely smells like horse when you open the car door!
Glad this one is back in play, it was missing the last time I was out this way. Had to sit and wait a while as there was an energetic couple doing their workout nearby. Had my morning tea and watched them , then a car pulled up and three young people jumped out and strode off toward the bush tracks. Eventually the exercisers moved off and I shot into the bush and soon had the cache in hand. All good here. As I returned to the car the three young people came running back and were rummaging around in the car. The young man produced what was obviously a snake catchers bag and retrieval hook, and dashed off again. I then noticed a large sticker on the car advertising, reptile handler. Hmmm? Does that include capturing snake in the bush reserves? Anyway I didn't see any snakes, thank goodness. Thanks for the cache JJ52.
Busy day today. My brother and I moving our Mum of ancient days from Redcliffe to Moggill. I've had to take a quick drive, without GeoSchnauzers, for today's cache, snatched from the frenzy of packing and driving. I tried for the cache by the pipeline, but there seemed to be a muggle convention there, so I came down to this one. There were muggles around, but none taking any notice of me. It's a nice spot, and I quickly grabbed the cache. It was an easy find, and I enjoyed the drive out here. It's lucky I took the time out, as I walked the GeoSchnauzers to the cache near my brother's house at Moggill, and couldn't find it!!
