We have a large photo on the wall at home of this view of Cambewarra mountain. I had nearly given up on this cache as workmen had obviously been very close to GZ, when I saw it. I did write my name on the log but I bet you can't read it now, the log is so damp that any writing is smudged. The container does not have the usual seal to keep rain out, but thanks for the hide.
Really liked this cache, couldn't sign the log because it was water logged. TFTC
My first find with mum!! Didn't even know what a bison tube was haha, but the we googled it and found it unfortunately the paper inside was wet
Spent a few mins trying to find this one . Great camo. Log was wet. Unable to write in it. Sorry I didnt have my pack with me otherwise I would have replaced it. Thankyou paysandu
Easy find.

We arrived in town mid morning, left the van at the park & headed out to do some caching.
Started at the information centre headed out to North Nowra area then back home again.
This was a great drive through farm land.
The cache were of a good & varied type all in good condition.
Thanks for placing this cache paysandu

Went for a drive & as usual had some D/H tailgating so turned into the first intersection & walked back, further than I thought. Pleased I found it & picked up several waymarks including a cracker as I returned to the UAV. Thanks paysandu. I'll submit that waymark I photographed on the 4th & that will be my Waymarking calendar complete.
Thanks for the cache. Nice find. Take care with the barbwire fence - it scratches. Lol
Found this as we were heading into Nowra.
even had a place to sit and sign the log.
Thanks paysandu for the hide.

Bit muddy after rain last night and the road works all along here. Cache was fine though. TFTC
Yep not the first place I looked. But after a little looking had cache in hand.

Last one for the day, 8 finds and 0 DNFs from Brogers through Berry, down to Nowra then here on the way back. I drove past this in a daze as I was expecting one of those big stone signs so common around here! Doubled back and made a quick find among what I recently discovered are "coral trees", then it was time to turn for home. TFTC!
Continuing on our little caching adventure with the Vikings... geomum found this one.. hadn't found too many like this before but in these next couple days found quite a few caches with this sort of hide... thanks paysandu... found at 11:22.
Found on our caching expedition in Kangaroo Valley and surroundings together with zargfinders.
Lots of passing traffic so Lead & Brave Akubra decoyed, while Nav & Princess searched. Beautiful sheep here. SL. TFTC Paysandu
Discovered that the metal cover on my phone was causing interference with the GPS and found myself playing frogger across the road. Once removed all was good and cache was sighted.
Got it! Took a bit of wandering from one side of the road to the other before we did though
7265 + 871 = 8136. Found during the August daily search for caches....
Heading home after being in the Jervis Bay area for a weeks work. A nice drive stopping for the odd cache. A quick drive-by find here - always happy with that ! Now on to the next one. 20 out of 31 tick !!
Thanks paysandu !!
TNLN - TFTC !!
Cheers....

This one was made a lot harder than it needed to be but got there. A bull ant near the cache would have taken my arm away if I aggravated it- it was huge! TFTC!
Fun morning for caching for my 500th find. Busy on the road and I hope no one recognized me.

A good hide on a busy road. I don't know why it took me so long. Must be losing my touch. TFTC TNLN SL.
I drove past it and by the Time I could turn around someone els was there signing the log had to turn around again and found Easy Thanks
A quick find, just had to find a safe place to park, and after our recent efforts in Victoria, a place were we wouldn't get bogged - some of these verges are still very wet and soft! Thanks paysandu for the cache.
Rated: for Overall Experience
This one was a bit of a trip down memory lane as we lived in Canbewarra and was very fond of it. It was along here that we often had to stop on the way to work in the morning as the herd of dairy cows crossed the road on the way back to greener pastures. They would often lick the chrome parts of my car if I got too close ! Watch out for the barbed wire nearby ! SL TFTC
Made this find as I planed my way along the new caches in the area, some half dozen yet to be found ones now. This one was an easy stop and grab, great now off to the next. SL..TFTC
A late Sunday afternoon decision had me going to Nowra to knock of the last 5 (new) caches left. All of them were nice and easy to do!
Thanks Paysandu!

Wow,you have to be quick to beat the local pirates around here. Well done Mrs Pirate. Found quickly with the phone under the watchful eye of the local farmer. Thanks Paysandu.
How hard can it be, geocaching remotely? I was away from our local area. Therefore, I had to ring Mrs Pirate and ORDER her and the Geodaughter to set sail for this cache.
After much arguing and then instructions on how to use the GEO compass the girls set sail for the booty. And I thought giving instructions on how to load the GPS was hard!! That was easy compared to the next leg of the adventure.
Once the team got close to the treasure, I then had to give instructions over the phone to look in certain areas, as they were having a Girlie look!! But all is well that ends well; they did me proud and found the naked log despite Mrs Pirate cutting her hand on the barbed fence! Her FTF will leave a scar!
A little history; the paddock the cache looks out onto was once a Race course when the village had two pubs, a tannery, a butcher and a baker. Mrs Pirate won a poetry competition in 1979 after she penned a poem about the history of the village at aged 11. A very caring community also, two residents stopped to ask if she had broken down!
