Sure is an interesting part of Port Augusta we had not discovered previously. Cheers and tftc
Found with richlink as part of our Annual Caravan Geocaching Trip. Thank you for placing a cache here Freddo.
Travelling with iluvtrekking on a SA caching foray. Staying in PA for a couple of days. Early morning visit before we head out to Mambray Creek. Thanks Freddo
Ocw the Bebes as we stay in PA. Went for a drive out to pick up a few caches. Great views from here and easy find. Tftc
OCW PelDroedGwin and geodog Peppa Back in Port Augusta for a few days after 3mths exploring the Eyre Peninsula. A scenic drive to SAs Gold Coast . That water looked beautiful ! Tftc
Out caching with my caching buddy, MrsShep77, and our faithful drivers. Thanks for the great hides.
Was supposed to be headed to Adelaide for a quick trip but plans changed! Decided to head to Port Augusta for the day to cache …. as you do!
Happy caching and safe travels!
Happy caching and safe travels!
Oh look, a long weekend - off we go to the north !
Fun counting the animals, we've seen roos, emu, a huge centipede, several bearded dragonms, dolphins, a bird of prey... lots more to come for sure. And great views everywhere.
Came upon your cache location along the way
Almost a year since a find, and a bit of deja vu... the obvious pile of rocks was there but no container. Dead on GZ. A bearded dragon looked on mockingly as if he knew what had happened to it
In the resources of the Catmobile we had some "fishing tackle" from another peninsula.
Donated same to keep this delightful spot going. Hope that helps!
Thanks to Freddo for bringing us here

Searching with Purrfect Di and Jack the Monkey, finding and signing cache logs alone or with family and friends using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S21u, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck Plenty of that luck stuff actually!!!
*Logs are composed and published using GSAK of course.*

Caching is a hazardous activity!
Keep a lookout for sand traps, snakes, surprise cliffs, boxing roos, wombats, bulldust, and floods,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall out of trees...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for any old bugs from alpha to omega !!! . [xx(]
Try to keep Travel Bugs as the only bugs you share and pass on
Now everything's opening more - even more important to sanitise and safely distance!!!
Really good of all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting
Thank you for reading all this addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere, apparently!

I am heading over from Adelaide to Port Lincoln to catch up with the geoson for the weekend, taking my time over a couple of days to explore, and to pick up a few (mostly) targeted caches along the way.
This is the first time Ive been down this way for many years. It was nice to have the time to take a leisurely look around today.
Thanks Freddo for the cache.

Quick find in this lovely peaceful place....some very impressive shacks along here. TFTC
Apologies for the late log ... life interrupted my logging. I hate it when that happens!
Mrs Gizmo escaped for a two day caching trip to Port Augusta with Dr Owl and CPwanderer.
Day 2 and we packed up our gear and headed off to find a few more caches before breakfast.
Quickly located after a short walk in from the road. Some interesting property names along this road. Some very elaborate "shacks" too.
TFTC Freddo!

This was a pleasant drive, which the Owlmobile handled well, even on the off-road parts. This was also a nice walk to a quick find.
Hi there Freddo.
We found your cache **"Costa Del Oro"** at 11:32:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 15922).
We cached between Port Augusta and Mangrove Point today. On our trek we found a wide variety of container types. & ended up finding 7 caches with 0 DNF's.
Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Another Freddo find while doing the Blanche Harbour run. TNLNSL. Thanks for the hide Freddo.
GoodLook very, very badly wanted to attend a special event, so who was I to tell her she was going overboard with geocaching [?]
Instead we jumped into Harry on Friday for 2 days of adventure, accompanied by Laighside Legends, in Whyalla where fishingmad was holding an event on Saturday to christen his new boat..... 6km out in the gulf[^]
We had a blast and it was huge fun showing GoodLook around parts of Whyalla that she hadn't seen before I think her logs say it all!
Today was a day of 3 DNFs and 30 finds
Unless mentioned otherwise, please know that your cache and log book was in good condition.
A quick find for us on this very interesting shack road
Why interesting[?] Well the shack names had us laughing as we went past them because so many of them just fitted into a theme of body parts, functions and in the gutter comments!

Found It!
A nice little walk and a quick find. Locus and GoodLook where still in the car laughing to tears over the signs along the road... Then they complained about the 60m walk from the main road...

We giggled heaps driving down this road!! The signs are so norty!
Love it that geocaching brought us to this gem of a location.
The loud and lovely Locus Cache [:X], the very clever Laighside Legends and myself drove to Whyalla in Harry with the aim of this weekend being: to find a few caches, and attend the 5T boating/fishing & caching event.....AWESOME!! [^]
There was fun, laughter , silliness [:o)], tense moments, some creative driving (on road, off-road, dirt, sand, mud, water, tackling what could be described as a very steep and narrow bmx track...yep you heard me!) , breath holding , kindness [:X], tight time schedules, ladder climbing, feet getting wet, dolphins, a boat, fish, nanos, ammos, sistema of all sizes and a number of mint tins. Surprisingly few DNFs. And LOTS of other mad crazy conversations and adventures. Gotta love caching and all of the fun it can be!! [:o)] [^]

The view across to the Mazatlan Hotel was stupendous. They are doing day trips to the Devil's Hill and all sorts. I was tempted to check in but had forgot my sombrero. Instead, I opted for the foot massage as I tip toed through the soft stone garden to GZ. And talking of GZ, the stones had stopped the prize from floating away - good placement
Thanks to Freddo and clear skies from TeamAstro. [^]

Found on a geo trip to Whyalla, Port Augusta, Iron Baron, Kimba and other places with The White Dog Gang and Team Waldron. A great few days with lots of interesting caches. TFTC.
On our way to do a Whyalla & surrounding area run with Team Waldron & Trail 06.
This was one of the many we found on our way
Cool spot, thanks for bringing us here

A nice quick find while driving around Port with diggers09. A great view of the gulf from here. TFTC
Passed some interesting shacks with some inventive names as we headed towards the caches in this area. Mr Beetle stayed in the campervan while I made the short trek to this one. Thanks.
Well I'm not sure about the Gold Coast reference
More like the Pewter Coast I would have thought
Something smelt a bit off and made me go Pew !!
Sure it is nice here.
The azure blue waters, the desolation, the ramshackle shacks.
The lack of surf
The view towards the towering mountains of the Flinders Ranges is nice too.
But hardly the Costa Del Oro
Still I would rather be here anyday, than in a certain other 'Gaaaallld' Coast that banana benders seem to think is so nice

Logging this as a Beta tester

A quick find, under the cover of darkness. A great spot, Not sure if we have a FTF, discovered a undated stamp by Honeysucker.[?] Anyway thanks for the cache Freddo. Cheers from diggers09. [^] SL
