Parked up after driving along the track from the south, made my way up here for some great views watching as the rain came crawling in. Cache found and is all good hereThis weekend I headed down to Naracoorte for the weekly parkrun, after staying the night in town it was time to head home, I detour via the back roads and up through Ngarkat national park before making my way along the mallee highway finding some of the newer caches in the areaThanks for the cache
Detoured here, whilst on way around the playing field for the June LWE Gameday..Found it about 8m from listed, but is in obvious spot as per hint.Loved the track to get here from Box Flat... wasn't too strenuous on the car, and very few really soft spots, but definitely need high clearance!Scored 21 months of unloved too...An oldie too!TNLNSL Thanks

Lots of rain made the sandy sections easier than I image they normally would be.
The cache was very exposed but then there's probably not too many non cacher visitors here
Thanks DISK for placing & maintaining this cache.
Find recorded using GCDroid and logged using GSAK

Some days you just have to get in the geobeast and see where you end up!
So here we are. At your cache! After a bit of an argument with the soft and fluffy sand that gave way on the approach from the North. Maxtrax to the rescue and up over the hill we go!!!
Nice to find a decent size and an ammo can out here. Fav for a lot of fun and a real cache!!! (not a mint tin)
Much gratitude to DISK for placing and maintaining this one
"A cache a day keeps the doctor away" - every find brings a smile to our map
Found with Jack on a drive out thataway!!!
----------------------------------------------------
- - search at a good social distance whenever you can - -
Things are slowly getting back to whatever normal is - take it carefully!
Catching covid or gastro or anything really would mess up your streaks!
Keep away from all the nasty bugs ( except nice travel bugs of course )
[|)] - 2, 4, 6, 8,,, let's all go and vaccinate!
[|)] - keep away from crowds as much as you can, they spread those nasty bugs! [:o)]
[|)] - go out and find or place some new caches in our safe country areas away from bugs!!
Life's good. Enjoy ! ! !

Out for a camping weekend with geosister H423L and geodog Tonka
With my sister already having this one up I went while H423L stayed down the bottom to make us sandwiches for lunch
Nearly aborted half way up with being petrified of spiders the track had thousands of them
Out sun baking with there webs between bushes from side to side of the track
Was going to go back down and ask sister to come up and clear the way like she does when spiders are involved
But I became brave and SLOWLY made my way up going around the critters and making it to the top without any spider hitchhikers
Great view wow

Who knows a drone when there is a Jimmy Hill. Besides it's a National Park and you can't do that anyway. Great views.
Thanks to DISK and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!
Well worth the climb. So that’s where we’ve been and that’s where we are going. TFTC
It was a glorious Autumn Day and so Anymules and I decided it was time to make the trip through Ngarkat Conservation Park to collect the caches there and in the towns surrounding it. Except for a couple of campers at Buck's we had the whole park to ourselves and didn't see another vehicle! [^]
Jimmy's Sandy Hill was just that...sandy, but the views from the top were really great and we got to find a cache as well. Hoot. [^] The photographs I took just don't do it justice.

A big drive with Csaba!, SupaOrange, Malco! and Freddo. We all took turns in driving the tracks. Turtle Out
Day two of our epic journey. Once again we drove for many hours and found lots of caches. Freddo and Malco! in the lead vehicle. I did at least 7km of solo 4WD steering today. Tra La Laaa
Day two saw us spend the day with Malco!, Freddo and the Supa's. Great place to come and drive. Even the Supa's spend a few km driving the trails. Thanks
After attending the Red Bluff Campground event on Saturday, Freddo, Csaba!, SupaOrange and SupaTurtle and I returned to Adelaide, taking the scenic route through the desert.
Hill of Sand - View of Magnificence.
Thanks for bringing us up here, DISK

A great cache in an out of the way location. We came from south and parked in a pile of sand. The cache was found in the last place we looked. Love an ammo can.
Found with e.gregory1 during a trip to the Riverland, on to the Border Track, and into Ngarkat Conservation Park and Big Desert. Really enjoyed the 4WD tracks, camping out in the serenity of the desert and the adventure. Thanks for the cache DISK!
Found with FeatherWaite on an extended long weekend trip that saw us in the Riverland, the Big Desert and Ngarkat CP.
Another sandy hill; another nice view out over the country. We didn't see another vehicle in the park all day.
Thanks DISK for the cache.

This is a great spot to get out the vehicle and head up the ridge for a great view. View so good, almost forgot the other reason to go up the hill !
Found It!
Time to test out the new 4WD! After finding the cache at Box Flat I continued on to this one. Then just a short little walk up the hill for a quick find and a great view! Telstra phones even work up here! Great place for a cache!

Replaced the non-existant container . It looks like an animal has got to the cache and there were only fragments left to collect . Picked up everything we could find and put a log book and some swaps into an ammo can (that should last a bit longer) [B)]. Cache is nearer the crest now and on the southern side of the dune [8].
Today's traffic report - all clear ! Only saw one vehicle in the park today as we headed south to north (ours) [:o)]. There are no gates across the Jimmy's Well Track at all now, so the cache is all clear for a 'tin' find .
Come and get it [^]!

Can't see much from here at 7:50pm!
Ended up driving through Ngarkat Conservation Park to recover a high altitude weather balloon I helped launch from Willunga High School.
The payloads we launch landed about 10km SSE from where this geocache is, about 3km off the road. Definitely not something I wish to repeat!
Anyway, on the way out I found this cache. It's certainly not under the bush any more, more on top of it. The lid is cracked like the previous finder mentioned.
Anyway, thanks for the cache!

Been a while since i have done any caching. Was going to call CPW to come with but decided to go on motorbike instead. Cache was on its side down the hill a bit. Lid was a bit brittle. Put log book in 2 snaplock bags. 200km ride. Walking up hill was very hard as fitness level is not good yet. Still recovering from cancer again. Left a few swaps. We have had 68 points of rain but sand is still very soft. A cool day. GATE along Jimmys Track just past Ashbys Track was shut. (NO VEHICLES ALLOWED ON ASHBYS Track. DO NOT DRIVE AROUND GATE AND FLATTEN VEGITATION. If coming from South you will have to cut across to Bann Hill Track. Both these gates are shut to all vehicles certain times. TFTC SLTN. Cheers.
