Staying in Koroit, we decided to head for Warrnambool. It is such a pretty town. At WP1 I was a bit unsure about a couple of the questions, but we had lunch between WP1 and WP2, which gave me a chance to sort out the answers that I was unsure of. I was glad to see the right thing at WP2, and set about doing some more computing and counting. At the Final GZ I think I found the right object, and have sent a photo the the CO.
Answer sent and approved. Love your work.Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumalated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Moon's day the fourteenth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit cooler today. It was so windy today. A few showers. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. Photo sent as per description as we had collected the info and found ourselves at GZTravelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the cache
TFTC! 28 September 2024 10:12:57AM 8507 thanks to Kia1 for the cache! Very cool to see the lane way art. Great to see them being used for art!
It was an early start this morning! It was too dark to see so the trusty phone torch came to the rescue. Working out what was needed at both waypoints was easy enough . I actually came back in the afternoon before grabbing a bite to eat to check out the other street art in the area. Perfect spot for an Adlab.Photo sent to CO and got the tick of approval. Thanks for the cache
Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. Great artwork, thanks for the cache. LNCU.
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. Spending a few days in Warrnambool to grab some local finds. Great artwork - enjoyed the tour. Thanks for the hideLNCU
Due to not being able to stop this being muggled the conditions have changed, see listingCheers,
Found it , we had a nice afternoon walk around town looking at the fantastic street art. Gathering information and eventually finishing up at a likely Gz. Had a good look about, and now, with the Co's permission, we can log this find. Tftc
Logging with c/o permission. Got the required numbers only to find it gone bummer but thank you c/o you legend tftc
Found after camping out at Lake Leake for the night, heading south-east towards our next destination at Johannah Beach along the Great Ocean Road. Stopped off in Warrnambool to search for a few caches on our way along the coastline. Thanks for the cache Kia1!
I do enjoy looking at street art. After collecting the clues and getting GZ I needed a few visits to wait for GZ to be clear of randoms. Thanks for adding this one here!
We were staying at Dad's place for a few days and decided to head out to Warnambool to grab a few things and also try our luck at a couple of caches. We must say that we really enjoyed this multi and the two wpt that we .to visit that showcases some work of some very talented people. Both sets of co-ords were easier enough to work out and the final co-ords took us to a logical location that fitted with the scheme of things. Happily there were no muggles about today and we were able to simply follow the GPSr to a likely location for a nice quick find. Our names were added to the log and everything replaced as found.Thames Kia1 for this cache.
solved and found. a quick find at gz. I was getting my numbers up to 20 finds in this LGA. Found with Mogni. I think this is the most changed trip in the planning stage that i have ever been on. The " original trip " was supposed to start on the 31st of dec but at the start of decemeber life changed and the trip was now starting on the 26th of decemeber and all accommodation that had booked cancelled and now see what else is free on the ealier dates. A major readjust of plans and got 1/2 the trip booked before the next curve ball came in to alter the plans again. More adjusting the plans again and i realized i could host 2 CITO's in 2 different LGA's in victoria. What we do to qualify for victorian challenge caches. Also i got my 20, 000 cache over in victoria in this trip. It was decided in the end that the 4x4 was going to be the vechicle for this trip that way we could go and target all the caches that you never get, the ones down the sandy/rocky/dirt and forestry roads/tracks. We left Adelaide and headed to Casterton for a couple of days, then to Budj Bim National Park ( and saw 5 koalas in the camp ground high up in the trees ), then over Heywood, a night in Mount Gambier plus there attended the 3rd CITO of the trip before sending a few nights in Millicent and then finally home. Over 250 caches found plus 86 lab caches. Mogni also got her 11th D/T loop. I also got 3 more victorian LGA's up to 20 finds mininium for another victorian challenage cache. If the cache was broken/eaten/smashed it was reaced with a new container and if the logsheet was wet it was replaced and if the log was full or almost full extra log sheets were added to the cache.
In Warrnambool for work so I arrived early and set about finding this cache after collecting the info on the last visit many thanks for the fun multi.
After a bit of a walk through Warrnambool, Sharpharp and I worked out the answers at the first WP, and hoping we got it right we walked to the next WP and all the questions made sense with where we were standing. From there we hoped again that we understood the questions and back off to the final WP.As we were walking up to it, it all clicked into place that this was the right spot, and sure enough the cache was still thereWas surprised it hadn't been found in a few months, but that means one more closer for my unloved listthanks for the cachePika 29/10/23
Found on a day spent targeting some caches of interest between Port MacDonnell and Warnambool.
After collecting the required information and calculating the final coordinates, it was a quick find at GZ not too far away.
Container and contents are in good condition.
Thanks Kia1 for the cache.

For some reason, we struggled with the first waypoint for this multi, but managed to make our way and find the second waypoint, where all the numbers worked perfectly for us.
We then took a walk to GZ, where we made a quick and inconspicuous find. The nearby building was shut and no one was the wiser to our activities.
Thanks
Domsky

Touring around the town of Warrnambool today in the wet and windy weather, not stopping us from grabbing some caches. An nice look into the laneway art while waiting for the rain to clear. A quick find at GZ in the obvious spot. All good here.
Find #5210 on 2 Feb 2023.

Got this one while finishing off the Christmas shopping. Thanks and have a happy Christmas
Bunadoorian and I were up early and decided to tackle this multi before breakfast. We enjoyed the walk and looking at the different laneways. We gathered the required information and calculated GZ. So glad we tackled this today as last night there were a lot more people in the GZ vicinity. TFTC and for showing us more of Warrnambool - Kia1.
Early morning in Warnambool awaiting a call from my brother so we can join him for breakfast so we had a bit of time to spare. Ah a multi cache just the bill. A pleasant walk around and nice artwork. Wonderful. TFTC.
We weren't going to be here for long but there was always 'just one more'. This was completed without any issues although we arrived to find works happening at GZ. We were able to sneak over and grab the cache quickly. Thanks for placing it for us to find.
After doing what was necessary, we found that GZ was having its makeup done so were concerned that we might not be able to access the cache. Luckily, we found it just outside of the zone. Thanks for the cache.
Worked out the co-ords a week ago and finally got back to claim this one. Beautiful warm evening in the city which meant people were out and about everywhere. It was a really quick locate and snatch but all good. TFTC
Found our waypoint was a bit off but after reading the hint found the cache. TMLM TFTC
Robmc ventured to the SouthWest and we spent a couple of days collecting a few of the caches in Warrnambool.
There is some really nice artworks around the CBD - nice to see them up close.
Thanks for contributing to the fun Kia1

On my way down to Warrnambool for a bit of caching.
Collected a few on the way down and some in town when the shops closed.
Multis like this one really make you examine the artwork in detail.
There is quite a bit of lane way artwork in this town, I kept peering down lanes as I rode around.
I must come back to the final building when it is open, looks interesting.
Thanks, Robmc.

Travelled down to Warrnambool for the weekend, primarily to do a CITO on Saturday morning but also to grab a few choice geocaches that I have been eyeing off for some time. Also the obligatory market required to keep MuggleWifeDoes happy
Walked around the waypoints earlier this morning, in the rain, before the event in the park.
Went for a walk during the event but couldn't find the prize but it looked like there was a base to what I was looking for. I queried Wollerston at the event if they new the hide; they graciously phoned the CO who confirmed that the prize was probably missing and gave us permission to log the find.

After a very eventful few days for us leading up to our visit we finally arrived at our accommodation just after midnight, in very stormy weather.
This morning didn't look too promising but with these things you never know.
On the coldest day for the year so far, we had a fantastic time.
We didn't even need to break out the umbrellas.
Having picked this location using street view for our first event of the day, we were more than happy with the provided cover.
Quite a good turnout with cachers travelling from far and wide, plus a few locals.
Nice to meet you all and to catch up with old friends too.
Some fantastic artworks were seen during our wandering in the nearby laneways.
As the event continued we made our way to GZ and merely found remnants of this cache.
The CO was notified that we were all here.
Thanks for the great little multi Kia1.

While at the Warrnambool Civic Green event this morning I and a few other cachers who had solved this multi either last night after we arrived here, like us, or earlier in the day before the event. As I knew we were meeting here for the event this morning we didn’t bother looking for the cache till this morning. At GZ I found something a cache might attach to but no cache there. Someone in the group searching rang the CO, who gave us permission to log the cache as found. Thanks Kia1, much appreciated, as I don’t know when we’ll be through to find it again.
Fun walk through the Warrnambool laneways admiring the street art. Cache is missing logbook unfortunately.
A cold day but good to count things. We did well and the GZ was well themed. Fav given. Nice hide too.
Thanks to Kia1 for the placement and fun.

Wow what an awesome multi! Lots of muggles on a nice day. Our GZ coordinates were a little out but the clue was a winner!
Found the answers for wp1 and took off to wp2. The answers here too were gained and it was off to gz where the hint was handy.
Wandering around Warrnambool's centre of all things arty this morning,
I took a tour of some of the muriels while looking for this, and other caches
Some head scratching at WP1
The numbers must have been close 'nuff,
and WP2 was found
No head scratching at this fishy spot,
and I was soon off to hook me a cache
Hooray !!
No smokers hanging around GZ for once
And a quick cache find under the security camera's gaze [:o]
"Cheese !!"

Went and checked this one and found it had been moved to the wrong position.
It was found under some natural waste.
Returned to it's magnetic place. down low.

After double checking my calculations we have found the power point on wall however nothing near it. Would love is somebody could tell me if it has been muggled or I have just missed it?
Stayed at Warrnambool for few days
It’s very hard to solve it
Finally solved it
Fav from me
enjoyed myself to found it

Worked my way through this multi two years ago when we were last here on holidays.
Today before it was too busy in the CBD I came down for another look for this one after several DNFs last trip. Thanks to the hint, which I don't recall seeing last time, i finally found this cache at last almost straight away.
One of the better multis I have done, loved the artwork on display, and being taken to areas of town I wouldn't have known about before. Beats boring graffiti any day! Thx Kia1 for setting up and placing. Cheers

Sean.75, kenare and I came down to Warrnambool for a day of caching while Trixie went in her her service. We weren't sure how long we had, so we mainly targeted caches close by. I loved the art work on our adventure finding this one. TFTC
In town for just one night and was hoping to put some smiles on the map.
After doing the required work I soon had the log stamped.
After doing the required work I soon had the log stamped.
While away with a group of friends I ventured out in the dark in the morning while the others were asleep checked out the lane at work and whilst trying to count the items was joined by fellow cacher BMTC 18. Between the both of us we worked the items then moved onto the next location. Did the counts with minor issues and soon had our final in GZ decided on. With a short walk my new cacher friend quickly had in hand. Always great to meet a fellow cacher. Greetings from Melbourne
With a little help from xambo all fingers, feet and faces accounted for. Then barring miscalculations and the right name for the right mural hopefully, we made an artful discovery. All intact. Thankyou cheers bmtc18
Interesting little adventure. Solved yesterday arvo, but had to come back this am for final find. Fortunately, cache contained a writing stick. TFT informative & visually appealing trail down the laneways Kia1.
Came here before breakfast and avoided crowds, on a balmy April morning. I wonder what these spaces behind the streets were used for before they were carparks- in any case the laneways are clean and the artworks make them all the more interesting. Coordinates were accurate, and led me straight to gz. Thanks Kia1
Found with Kenare on my first caching day in Warnambool and our math skills were up to the test yet again! Ah replaced just for us? Thanks for the cool multi!
Wozzle68 and I are legging our way around Warrnambool picking up a few multis and having a laugh or 10. While eating lunch we looked at this one, hmmm lots of things could wrong, but we had a crack anyway!! Woohoo!! Winner winner not fish for dinner!! Tftc
Found on another road trip with Dr Owl, this time focussing on multi's with other caches thrown in along the way. Ands this is the type of multi we both love. Great art work around here.
Thanks for the cache Kia1.
Thanks for the cache Kia1.
That was lots of fun. The laneway art is amazing and collecting the clues went well (despite a bit of confusion at one point as to which window the Owl and the Fish should be looking at). The final location was straightforward enough and a quick find was made. A favourite point for introducing them to a different side of Warrnambool.
OK, The works are almost completed so the cache should be online in about two weeks.
Cheers
Cheers
Not sure if you realize but where the cache is located at the final waypoint they have done some work and may no longer be there? Might need to be checked.
Due to considerable renovations to the GZ area this is going offline till we find another suitable spot.
Cheers,
Cheers,
After contacting 2 different PAF's, twice going over WP1 to get a set of starting coords, a visit to the RACV to ask where the goldfish is, 1 search at GZ not far off where the final actually is, a second late evening search at the right GZ had to be called off due to muggles and then this morning in the rain, I've come up empty handed. 3 days it took to finally get here to complete this multi and unfortunately no smilie to show for it. Ill try again another holiday. Thx kia1, you must be getting a laugh out of my DNFs on this trip! Cheers
Hilarious find, dodging muggles enjoying the area and trying not to look too weird on our hunt for the cache, TFTC
Well did we do this cache the hard way. We are not very good at seeing the writing on the small screens and we do take a pad with us to write the info in but somehow we made a hash here. There was no way we could find the second waypoint. As we had run out of day time we headed home and attempted this one again today. Today the gods were with us and we came up with an answer that showed us the item we were looking for the final. Now the final gave up it's secret to us straight away which told us we had done our sums right today. One of these days we will remember to print out multi and earth caches before coming away. Thank you for showing us these lovely murals. SL TFTC
Had been meaning to do this multi for sometime. Enjoyed strolling through the lanes and seeing the different art work. Even met one of the artists who does local tours. Finally arrived at GZ and spent quite some time hunting. It was overcast and drizzling and gps didn't want to play. Great relief when we finally found it after solving all those clues. TFTC Kia1, much enjoyed.
Enjoyed visiting these laneways and viewing the murals. The numbers worked out first go which was lovely but the technology let us down at GZ where we stuffed round for far too long TFTC Kis1
Hevwalker & I cached all day from Mt Gambier to Portland to Warrnambool getting back home very late...umm actually early in morning to be exact. But had a fantastic time. In Warrnambool we caught up with Snap Happy and after a fantastic Thai meal he joined us to do a few caches...we laughed so much whilst looking for this cache we had tears in our eyes so couldn't believe it when we eventually found it. TFTC

Snap Happy came along for the ride after dinner...we laughed while looking for this cache as our previous finder couldn't ...we eventually found it...

Finally manage to find this one. Did all the groundwork about 2 months ago and we couldnt seem to find the cache. but we went back today to try again and Eureka there it was! Found with Tahlia.t

Gathered the first set of info after mis-counting a few faces then realising the next lane was in the opposite direction of the circle of cache travel the next waypoints were interspersed with a couple of other caches. So after lunch the sky was clear and sun shining, a walk to gz to eventually find the cache was rewarded with ice-creams in town.
Thanks again for a cache that highlights some hidden art in town

Another tour of the laneway murals, after dinner. Wow, public art is doing well in Warrnambool! We wandered, counted, wondered and crunched some numbers - and in the end we got our prize.
Thank you Kia1 for this excellent tour of murals in town, we absolutely enjoyed it!

Back in Warrnambool today so I was able to finish this one off. I had obtained the final coordinates on my previous visit and was waiting for an opportune moment to make the find. No muggles around today and I found the cache quickly at GZ.
I've enjoyed the series so far and the tour of some of Warrnambool's laneway artwork. TFTC Kia1.
