After picking up the FTF before Ingham I came here to collect the last couple of available hides in the area.
Claiming the find as I found the magnet and confirmed the location with a previous finder but I fear this one needs replacing. Unfortunately I didn’t have anything suitable with me.

Fonty2020 and Landy22 may need a little more experience than 1 find each. This one is still there and was a quick find for one that knows what to look for. Thanks for the cache Ingham Ballins. Guessing you guys are no longer in Ingham.
Found with LJB54.
Up in Ingham to see the Sunflowers and came over here to visit the beach and have some lunch. Cache container will need replacing soon but log was still dry and we added out names after a brief search.
Not the season for nesting turtles but thanks for bringing us here anyway SL TNLN TFTC

Found spot, found magnet but no sign of box. Looks like someone may have taken it.
Requires maintenance as its falling to bits didnt want to risk opening the paper and is 5 meters away from where it says it is but tftc
A nice caching drive up from Townsville today to keep the streak alive and find some out of town caches before hitting urban Townsville.

Lid was cross threaded. Hubby pulled put his tool box and was able to undo it. The log was wrecked. I was able to replace the log but the container needs replacing as the rust inside the lid is excessive and won't close properly. We gave the container a spray with crc.
Found but not able to open nano. Have taken picture if required for proof. Needs maintenance
I was filling in an hour or so,
and took the detour out Forrest Beach way
A beautiful view from here it is [^]
Perfect day for launching boats,
but the carpark contained only 3 empty trailers
So searching for the cache was easy
It took only a cursory look in the obvious place,
to establish that this cache was missing !! [:o]
A closer look revealed a rusty little magnet clinging to the pole.
So after a bit of head scratching,
I guessed the cache was a nano and had simply fallen off its perch.
A couple of minutes of looking found the cache hidden in the grass
Next problem was that I couldn't open it !! [:o]
Corrosion has set in !!
Two pair of pliers did the trick
Out fell the logbook which has seen better days [:o]
I managed to unroll it far enough to scribble me cache name on it.
Another tiny magnet I had in the car,
came in useful for rehiding the cache
Fingers crossed it stays in place.
And while the lid is loosened now,
it's going to corrode again soon
Might need a bit of TLC.

The weather was not the best - but it was good for geocaching as there was no one around!
Nice afternoon drive to Forest Beach while visiting family in Ingham. Thanks for placing this cache.
Came at sunset, so it was nice and cool with a beautiful view. The name of the cache was a dead giveaway and a nice easy find. Visiting our sister and brother-in-law so it was great to have them along for a few caches before we left. Almost couldn’t sign the log because we lost our pen, but on the walk back we found it, so I dashed back to get our name onto the log. Thanks for the cache!
Found after a short search. It was where it’s supposed to be I presume. Small magnetic.

We couldn't find this one when we pulled up, but then after a search the Moose found the magnet, but no cache, so we replaced. Thanks for the hide and bringing us here.
Lovely spot! Nothing subtle about today's find though - managed to retrieve cache and sign log without trouble but too short to succesfully replace it despite best efforts. Help was obtained from a friendly local muggle who happened to be out and lent me a stepladder

Staying at the RV Park for a couple of days and wandered up the beach to find this cache. The magnet was low down and the container was on the ground. We signed the log and replaced the container where we thought it should be. TFTC
Very quick find. I walked down from my parent's place only to realise I'd omitted to bring a writing implement. Just on sunset. Tide is in. Tftc.
found it. 7.08pm. my first one ever. thank you. pretty rusty and hard to open. thanks again.
Found at 2:53 PM GAFF1.
Co-ords were a bit out, but there was really only one spot for a cache to be hidden here. Very quite here today with a lovely breeze coming off the water.
Thanks Ingham Ballins.
Feedback: The container is rusting away.

Travelling from Townsville to Cairns, and after a stop over at Chrystal Creek, set up camp at Halifax, then went searching for this cache. Found easily @4.57 replaced log and returned to its hide, before we returned to camp at Halifax
Quick find, surprisingly vacant area today for the holidays. From here at sea level we headed back to Ingham for lunch and up, way up (600m) to Wallaman Falls. S.L, TFTC Ingham Ballins.
Today we explored Ingham and surrounds to find the caches that we had not done since our last visit and this was one of them. Once at GZ we made a quick find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Great little find on a day with no boaters. Can see from the car but need a little height.
I had arrived in Ingham this yesterday for a couple of days work...and after an early breakfast, I went hunting a few caches...mostly unsuccessfully...before starting work.
I manage to find my way all the way out to Forrest Beach...which was probably just as well as it gave me my only cache find for theh morning...one out of four isn't a very encouraging result!
Thanks Ingham Ballins for the cache...and a bit of a "heads up", the zip-lock bag that protects the cache from the weather has split open and is basically useless.

Very easy to find. It has a clip lock bag around it to stop rust from salt air but is damaged. If anyone thinks of getting another bag to put it in to avoid rust that would be awesome
found months ago with MagickalMumma13 on a day trip to forrest beach. as we pulled up had to wait for local muggles to leave to retrieve it. and yet another cache with a great view. tftc
Came here with our mum as she used to live here 35 years ago so thought we should get the cache here as well
Coming back to where I grew up n noticed there was a cache here. Great memories tftc
We were very surrised to find not a single car and trailer in the carpark....maybe a little too breezy, but after waiting for a couple of cars full of sightseeing muggles to leave we parked the geomobile to assist us with height and were able to find the newly replaced cache container.
Thanks for bringing us to this area Ingham Ballins[^]

Someone has replaced the container and it is now in a really good condition. TFTC. I signed the log and then spent a few minutes admiring the beautiful beach.
TFTC... Fantastic beach! Went for a walk as it was such a nice day. As others have noted, tin needs replacing as it has rusted badly an lid is disintegrating.
Found this one with help from the steps we had in the car. Would have been difficult otherwise for a couple of shorties like us. A new container might be a good idea as this one is getting a bit rusty. Didn't have an appropriate one with us. Sorry.
Thanks anyway Ingham Ballins for taking us off the main road on our travels round Oz.

Found it, verry rusty, need screw driver to open. Added new paper. Grandkids first find , verry excited.
On a day trip with jackylegs44 this was our second stop. Sea was choppy and not inviting at all today. Quite soon we could sign the log.
Thanks for the hide
