Oh that was nasty! I even handled it and dismissed it to begin with, re read some logs and thought Id take another look. Gotta be here somewhere. Thank goodness it didnt take me that long on this very warm day. TFTC
Arrived at GZ and spotted location but was hesitant on what we thought it was for it to end up being correct. Very sneaky! Nice hide, tftc!
Ive not been to this area before but were caretaking a nearby property, out for bike ride around the paths and a few caches. Had to come here just because of the number of FPs. Had to give it one myself. STL TFTC
#14648 10:55A day of geocaching in Sydney's North West with Everest High. On a previous occassion I search this object without any result. But today it did not take me very long to find the clever hide. I have not seen this before.Signing duties were performed, although quite difficult with no space on the logroll. Luckily there were names fading, so we wrote over them. Happy to change this DNF into a smiley.TFTC Ken479
Nice hide!!! Tftc found with Storeyteller, goughfinder. Log is full pic and message sent for proof
I think I got really lucky with this one and made a really quick find for what is a really sneaky hide. Unfortunately the log is full. TFTC
One of the more tricky ones I have found, once spotted it became obvious couldn't believe I had missed it! Tftc
#10041 (3 of 3 today)Headed up to Beaumont Hills for this afternoon's quota of caches. I originally thought I'd snaffle two, but I found myself close to a previous DNF, so why not give it another go.Got all three - including the DNF in a spot I checked last time - just not well enough.###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###Finally back for another go after six and a bit years! And pretty much remembered all the details here. So where to start this time?Well, the wrong spot is the best way to describe that!Like my previous visit I was drawn to an area, so went back there. Again, spotted nothing. Tried something I tried last time. Nope... But what if I?Gotcha. And I was so close last time. DNF Expunged!Nicely played. Have a long delayed favourite point.Added my name to the full log, and replaced as found. And can I compliment the CO on his great job acting in the recent Barbie movie! SLTNLNTFTC

Companions: None
Muggles: None
Weather: Pleasant winter morning
Cache condition: Good
There was a huge crowd at the netball fields, so parking was a bit challenging, but luckily the path itself was fairly (if not totally) quiet. Once at GZ I considered my options, and deduced a likely hiding location - nicely done! TNLNSL TFTC

We are on another short (three day) caching holiday in North Western Sydney, staying for two nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Holidays Avina BIG4 Holiday Park at Vineyard. Hoping to collect some previously solved Mystery/Puzzle caches, complete some Adventure Labs, and accumulate enough cache finds with our mini seven day streak for this month’s "Wheel of Challenges" (medium) souvenir. Photos will be uploaded to some (most) logs on our return to home base.
Today (day 3) we are heading homeward, but stopped off at Rouse Hill for some caching around Caddies Creek & Smalls Creek, where we collected some Traditional caches. This was the 8th of 8 finds for the day (day 3), and 30th (last) find of the holiday.
This cache was next, and the last for the trip. Parked the geomobile on Wellgate Avenue, then walked down the pathway and through the scrub to GZ. Checked a few things before the family's chief puzzle solver uncovered the hide and had CIH. It helped that we have a similar sort of setup in our own cache portfolio, so we were a bit wise to it. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. Log is very full and needs replacing, and the camo needs regluing as it has become separated.
Now it's time to head for home via the M7 & M2 Motorways, with a brief stop-off at Kellyville Pets to purchase some zebra finches for the aviary. TFTC CobTod & Mutu, and Ken479.

Wow that was awesome. Took us a while to find, in the right place initially, but kept diverting. About to give up when we got CIH. SL- full and needs replacing. Thanks for an amazing hide
OMG! OMG! Once we located where the cache was most likely to be, we started our search, could not find the sneaky one! Then decided to look somewhere else and my eyes only by pure chance spoted something and once I put my finger on it I said to geo hubby, could it be this???? Because of previous photos it looked like it otherwise geo hubby was ready to dismiss it! But we tried something and the cache revealed itself, I jumped of joy! Défo a fav from me
Out for mornings caching with the wife in a new area.
Definitely kept the best till last.
Initially spotted what we thought could be a possible spot, required some minor bush bashing and used my face to clear a few spiders webs!!!
Nothing obvious to find, read description and changed our hunt area, No luck.
Returned to initial spot, and the Wife thought she'd spotted something?
WHAT A GREAT cache SO well camoed and really blending in. Even with camo in hand I wasn't 100% sure we'd found it!
Definitely worthy of a fav, for one of the best camoed caches we've found.

Find #3/9 out Rouse Hill way today. Pulled into this neighbourhood just as school was finishing, so the traffic was horrendous. Took the long way through the neighbourhood to wrap around to the back streets. Parked up and walked towards GZ. The ponds were a really nice view in a hidden oasis here.
At GZ, I fought off prickly bushes and reviewed all the nearby structures until I finally spied to locale. Genius. Perfect.
Camo was a sneaky bugger. Great work on this one!
(The two components of the camo have come apart, and may need to be reglued back together to ensure the longevity of the hide)

Returned for second attempt after a DNF in Sept 2013 under my previous username NazzoR.
Still took me a while - mainly because I was initially deterred from what turned out to be the hidy spot, because it was being closely guarded by a spider .
After eliminating other possible hidy spots, I coaxed the spider out of its dwelling and made the find!
Thanks for an interesting hide!
(didn't have a pen so have attached photo proof)

Loved this hide! I have learned something new today and you had crawling in the dirt
Holy slapping duck doody!!! Smallest cache ever! Can't believe I found it so quickly though. Think dreams and what words you can use with them....not quite a hint but use your imagination.

Wow I tried for the ftf for this one and had a dnf and even met the cache owner. Would have been annoyed about their lack of assistance but really cannot remember this cache. Oh well that was 11 years ago approximately today found it after about 10. Bit of a bastard. Tftc

Out on a family walk. We were here last weekend and Geomum actually made the find, but didn't realise it. Geodad was more inquisitive and managed to find the cache. Good sneaky hide. TFTC!

We made the short bushbash to GZ and then scratched our heads for awhile. This sounded like a challenging and interesting hide, so we eliminated certain "boring"areas and then noticed something... yes, a good hide. Don't think we have seen one like this before. TFTC and thanks for maintaining this Ken479
TFTC . This is my 2nd time around in this cache, told myself "this time I won't leave without a find". Well, it was quicker the 2nd time around. Sneaky hide, another FP for me.
Another Sunday funday caching day out with BarberBlackSheep starting out here in the hills, haven’t been out here before it’s quite nice! What a beautiful spot!
We took the harder way in and the more easier less bushier way out haha TFTC

When Muppet95 suggested we spend part of the week-end in Sydney I cleared my calendar preparatory to blitz Saturday. We got a fairly early jump on the day, weren't long and we were Penrith-bound, and landed at our first stop by nine o'clock. The rest of the day was full on, completing ten Adventure Labs in the process, and made our way from Penrith up to Windsor, back to Blacktown via Riverstone and finally ending up in Ingleburn. Only a couple park n' grabs, several long walks, no DNFs, and one abandoned prospect as we discovered we were not prepared for a swimming find. All but a couple were adventures whether or not they were labs. I lost count of everything we did except that we made it back home before the local pizzeria closed at nine o'clock. It was a pretty good workout. Oh, and the weather was perfect. Thanks to all the COs for a great day!
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
Was searching in the wrong place for sometime and then turned around and spotted something mmm interesting. Yep there it is TFTC. Very sneaky hide. Fav point from us
Second time here and took me a second to realise I had it in my hand tFTC with Pulloa
Took us an eternity to find!!! SL with my croissant pen. Luckily we had (170) cm Mr RB to make the reach and find!

Sneaky hide, found that much quicker than expected given all the potential hidey holes, and needed something to help with extraction as per previous logs. Not sure about the terrain level being 1.5 - would put it higher than that. Another jewel for us - TFTC
Had us baffled for a while. Then morty came up with the goods

OCW marj01 around Rouse Hill, Annangrove and Kenthurst. Meandering around GZ we looked over, under and around things before I spotted something that was worth a poke. No that can't be it, but marj01 thought otherwise thank goodness. A very sneaky hide and a worthy FP Ken479.
A really clever hide. I was sure I'd found it but extraction was slow and careful. I suspect that the thingamajig is supposed to be attached to the doohickey but it's ok. Nice work and a fave. Thanks CobTod & Mutu, Adopted by Ken479.
This indeed was surreptitious! Unfortunately, alnic39's suspicions were correct - someone has left some pink plastic rubbish masquerading as a geocache, but in fact, the actual hide is much closer to a D3.5. The last log on the actual hide was OZUK. I'd say Jackscruff has discovered something left by kids?? CITO completed, and log signed. Actual hide *is* a micro.
I think the nature of this one has changed, as it's certainly isn't a 3.5 difficulty. I do hope it hasn't been changed to suit some previous finders. TFTC all the same.
Walked along the path and then followed the geo trail to GZ. The cache was found and then the log was signed. Then the cache was replaced as found. Thank you Ken479 for you the cache.
A trip out to Rouse Hill today produced a couple of finds and a couple of failed attempts.
I was shocked as I drove around an area that I knew and didn't recognise anywhere. There are so many roundabouts now and thousands of houses and more being constructed. Rather sad, this used to be a beautiful rural and bush area.
Anyway this was a short pleasant walk with a picturesque outlook and plenty of birds enjoying the spot. Unfortunately I disturbed a few heading along the track.
For me this was a very quick find as the cache was on the ground and very exposed. It was in good condition though. I signed the logbook and hid the cache where it seemed to fit.

There comes a time when a cacher with a lot of finds has a problem... Nothing close that is easily findable. You leave the higher rated caches / previous DNFs / puzzles you can't solve / possibly AWOL ones. In my case, I'm usually travelling 45 minutes or more if I want more than a single find. Sigh.
So today I thought I'd try for a trio of caches close to that 45 minute radius that are problematical in different ways - two higher difficulty and one unfound for almost a year.
Managed to find two of them, and only quit the search on the last as the sun had set and it was getting too dark.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
And finally the one I didn't find.
Got here just as the sun was about to set. Checked the obvious, but obviously not. And there is a very plump eight legged guardian there as well.
Started spreading out, but I was fighting as losing battle as the light dimmed. Finally decided to give it up.
Little did I know that this DNF was to set the pattern for the next few days' caching...

I won't be able to do maintenance for at least another week. If the next person to find it could add some paper that would be awesmoe.
Found this today for new souvenir. Unfortunately the log was missing and camo is loose. I will post photo to co to verify find.

Whilst in the area doing a check on "OUT: Bowled" a couple of hundred metres away, I made my way up here and had a bit of a look see.
After a fair time investigating various things my thoughts were turned to a particular something which needed a closer look. Bingo!
Nice work here.
The log is a bit short and a bit damp, but pencilled in anyway.
I'm giving this one a fave point.
Cheers, BB.

This feels like a repeat of my last log - we came out after the Hills event to look for a new Blundo cache, couldn't find it, so went after an older cache nearby.
This one involved a small walk and tiny amount of scrub crossing, to find a spot that looked worthy of investigation. We homed in on the right spot. Initially we couldn't see anything, but Canary seemed approving of our search area, so we kept at it. Then we spotted something that seemed likely, but couldn't get it out. We used my pen to help with that - the cache came free, but the pen nib didn't make it . At least we had another pen available to sign the log
Thanks

Well, this was a sneaky one! I admit, having Canary along, a previous finder, made finding this a lot easier. At least we knew we had the right spot, and therefore were soon able to identify something suspicious. It took a little bit of extracting (and the loss of one pen nib in the process) but we got there. Thanks
Found as a group after having no luck at the two new Blundo caches (one due to incorrect co ords). As this was then close we all walked up. The D rating may have normally concerned us a bit but we had a secret weapon in the form of a previous finder who passed a certain feature and the said it was ready to be found so the group shifted and spotted the camo. Extraction took a little longer and a pen was broken in the process. Another pen appeared and the signing was done. TFTC
10/1/16. 8:39 AM. Cache #3360. Streak day #567.
2nd of 4 finds - Rouse Hill & Kellyville
I started the morning with a Whereigo ("The Aussie Farmer Goes Caching") and then wondered if I came back here if I could redeem my DNF from an earlier visit (31/8/15). After that visit, the adoptive CO contacted me and narrowed my search area, so I thought this time it should be really easy, right?
Wrong. Just because I had a smaller search area, I still moved, turned, poked and prodded all manner of things with no success. I read a few past logs. One thing I read gave me a "Hey, I noticed that, too!" moment, so I re-investigated something with a bit more scrutiny. And boom, there it was. Oh, that is sneaky! And worth a fave point for that very reason. Signed log, replaced it and then thought since I was here, I had enough time to give "Bamboozled" a look-in. TFTC.

It has been a long time since we have found a geocache so we decided to find some today. Geodad looked for a good place where we can cycle and find caches so we did this trail.
Luckily Geomum found the cache pretty quickly.
Really great hide and nice cammo. We haven’t really seen a cache like that before. This definitely gets a favourite point.

Visited the area last Thursday with JJCC to pick up the nearby Bamboozled [GC3MXWB] cache and dropped in to get the layout for this cache. But due to time constraints we only had ten minutes spare, and although we covered a lot of ground searching every likely spot we didn't find anything and decided to return and search again.
So today we are again out with JJCC and managed to visit the cache between the light rain. So although a little damp under foot, we knew were we where headed. On our previous visit the GPSr kept sending us into a particular location and on reading the hint this morning decided to concentrate on a particular area that fitted in with the hint as well as allowing us to not get too wet with the damp conditions at the site. Within several minutes of our arrival we felt something which we surmised shouldn't be doing what it did and warranted further investigation. After careful removal we soon had the cache in hand to our surprise which enabled the both of us to perform our signing duties before we carefully placed the cache back.
TNLN. Two TBs visited - Bart and Vanlith The Youngling
Both the cache container and log are in excellent condition. TFTC and well played Ken479 - a fav point from us.

Out for a cache today with Team Merlin target was to try and find the cache Surreptitious.
We have recently being to here to find another cache not too far away. So we were hoping to continue the streak with a find. With GPS set with coordinates it was time to park the car and head off on foot on a clearly marked path way. Heading towards GZ we ended off the path way. When at GZ we both were looking around until Team Merlin thought about it and made a correct calculation and we had cache in hand with very careful obtaining the micro cache. We both signed the log and returned the cache as found. Both log and cache container in good condition.
With a cache name such Surreptitious it is certain truly a very well kept secret.
This cache earns a favourite point from us.

Great day for caching. It was a brilliant hide!! Thank you Ken479 for bringing me here.
31/08/15. 1:35 PM.
One DNF after finding 5 today (the new BB & Rheneas publishes from yesterday, found with Noodles22.
N22 and I parted company after "The End of the Road" as we didn't have many common unfound caches in the neighbourhood, so I came over to this one. I spent a while at the box before realising that there was nothing there and GZ was a little further away. Then made it to the concrete area, and a screwy signal made me widen my search quite a bit around it before I re-read the description and concentrated on a tighter circle around the pit lid.
I was here for more than 20 minutes but starting to repeat all the same mistakes. Rather than resorting to a PAF, I checked the time and realised that it was high time I headed for home. Might need a hand on this one, very tricky.

Very clever hide & can tell a lot of thought, effort and creativity went into the this hide. Had come to search for this one before & got sprung by the original CO but left having to log a DNF. Good to finally turn this one into a smiley
Was wandering back fro "TS Toybox" - so I continued along a "path of sorts" - got to within 25m & decided "I'm on the wrong side of this creek", so slid down the bank, and across the creek then up the other side. Got to GZ and wasn't keen to go exploring too vigorously and after a while resorted to a PAF.
How sneaky are you?! Great camo. Found a "Real" path a few metres away & returned to the car via that.

After reading the recent found logs, I thought that I had a better idea of what to look for and decided to have another go at it.
I was there for over an hour with no signs of a cache which proved my idea wrong! After reading through more logs I became even more confused, until I eventually caved in and PAFed.
That was one nasty cache!
Thanks.

After finding 'Befuddlement' to the south (with the CO looking on), I next found myself at this cache. It was our final one for the day before heading back to the car to then go get lunch. I found an obvious geotrail to GZ and then began my search. After getting my fingers dirty in the mud on the ground, Ken479 said to me, "you don't need to do that." Ah. I looked at the dirt under my fingernails, thinking that this newfound information could have been useful 30 seconds ago. Not to worry, cache on! A certain location looked quite suspicious, and I had eyed it initially on approach to GZ. I hovered near it, and with more encouragement from the CO nearby, I made the tricky find. Heavy camo. I'd looked at it twice without even realising that it was the cache. Very nice indeed. You'd better have my last fav point as well - enjoyed this one. Thanks Ken479!
After contacting the CO with regard to 'bamboozled' I found yesterday but with issues I noted my DNF here. He advised he was available today so I stopped on the way home from my trip to Homebush.
Met the CO and attempted this one again under watchful eyes. I hadn't looked hard enough as a tricky find was made right where my GPS indicated GZ. Can understand now why this one gets the FP's
Retrieved the cache, signed log and replaced as found, and another favourite point from me

First of 2 caches I was looking for near each other that meet the current challenge of 10+ favourite points.
After searching around GZ for no prize left for the next one down the trail a bit further.
After having found that next stopped on the way back to my car for a second look but still came up empty.

Out in the Hills District from some Good Friday caching on a drizzly grey day - perfect for geocaching! My goodness, this was a cracker of a hide. We spent most of our time here, like others before us, looking in the wrong place. And we looked really hard too. We also looked around actual GZ but came up with nothing. Just before we decided to chuck it in, we had another look at the logs and discovered that Eric might be able to help. Hang on, what have we here?? No, certainly not. It couldn't be. Wow, it is!! What a great hide! Well thought out, well installed and well camouflaged. A definite favourite point from us! SL a big TFTC Cheers... Gaztek

This one had us looking for quite some time. We were about to leave when geohubby had a bright instinctive idea and returned to check out something else. Got it! Another success. This one deserves a fav point. TFTC.
