On Holidays At Caloundra cruising around Caching with Hatzofff RoddyC and Mumma Bear And The Cubs (MummaBear66, Princess1005, DFC_JLK2019, T1ny96 and Captain Moneky96) hoping to target as many caches as we can. TFTC Konie
Had a little list prepared to do this afternoon so headed out into the new subdivision. There seemed a lot of traffic till we realised it was a normal work day.No snake in sight to day but headed over to investigate.TFTCache Konie

Woke early this morning and decided to head north to pick up a cache to complete the May challenge north of Brisbane. There were also a couple more need for my next DT Loop so it was a perfect storm to head north. After picking up a few lab caches in the area to warm up I soon moved on to physical caches in the area.Arriving at ground zero the cache was soon in my sights, log extracted and signed before replacing back carefully for the next lucky cacher.A big thanks to the cache owner for placing this cache for the enjoyment of others.Cheers
Life has been so busy with the not-so-little TTs that I hardly find a chance to get out and cache for a whole day. But today was the day. Didnt take much to convince Chamad to come and hunt with me for the day. I signed a challenge long ago for a ludicrous number of caches needed in the Sunshine Coast. I think I still have about 400 to go. So, putting a tiny dent in this was the go-to. A 9 hr day and about 30 caches. Unfortunately a few dnfs, but although it felt like 50/50, luckily it wasnt. There were a few caches that were way above their terrain because the ground is so wet and slushy and sometimes even a big puddle was underfoot (actually more so overfoot!). It was so good to get out and play and be an adult only for the day. Hmmm maybe I have that wrong. A chance to stop being a responsible adult and a chance to be a kid doing immature and silly things! There are quite a few caches in this area that do not have an easy or safe place to park. This one Chamad had already found so he drove around and around in my car while I took too long to locate the cache. Finally found it in the first place and 12th place I suspected but apparently it wasn't there. I upset a lot of ants and then finally caught my cab.
Another find whilst around West Caloundra for a few hours. Another quick find, thanks Konie!
A quick park and grab with the cache in a nice little hiding spot. The cache container was in good shape, but the logbook was full. I ended up replacing/adding a new logbook for in-field maintenance. Thanks [Konie](https://coord.info/PR1NM36) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------Today, I joined [georode](https://coord.info/PR2V198) on a trip north to the Sunshine Coast, with the Caloundra [Midday Meetup at Kings](https://coord.info/GCAF30H) event providing us with the motivation for our northern drive. Before meeting [georode](https://coord.info/PR2V198), I visited a few targeted puzzles in Bells Creek that I hadn't solved until recently, and it was a longer walk than I had appreciated. We then tree-fished a few geocaches in Baringa, before meandering through the vicinity before joining the event for lunch. We both had notional times to finish our day mid-afternoon with either promises made to the family or home chores to perform, so we utilised our remaining time visiting *Howzat?!* cricket series geocaches that we had solved, in addition to the three newly published *MakkuMob* geocaches.
Heading to Caloundra to meet up with caching friends and stopped off to get a few Smilies along the way. This was a quick and easy one after i found a park and short walk. Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC

Second trip to the Sunshine Coast in a week, this time to pick up my caching bag from a kind workman who found it on a seat near a cache. Good detective work to locate me. (Now have contact details in the bag)
Busy road so had to be stealthy here while locating the cache. Took the last spot on the logsheet.

Managed to squeeze on the end of the line of parked cars so I didn't have to walk a mile back to GZ. I strolled over and dived in undercover inbetween passing cars. I couldn't see anything at first but then I remembered an old trick, bingo. Nicely done konie.
Cheers

Fun find. The log has no room left for the next geocachers. Thanks for the find
Went searching in the bush here with my friend. Found it after a while
Nice well looked after not over grown like people have said I think they are just looking in the wrong place
A quick grab with the kids. Have found one like this before so knew what to look for at GZ. Thanks!
Found with Duppers. Quick retrieval, log signed and returned as found. #8 for today. TFTH, TFTC & TFTSF
Alyce and I decided to take the youngest to join us for a full day of caching on the Sunny Coast. We couldn’t have asked for a better day for it, blue sky, stunning scenery, what more could we ask for?
Well that was awkward, Alyce checked there and I checked here and we met in the middle, yep nothing, so we started looking elsewhere and you guessed it, nudda! Alrighty then, let me check this spot… Ohhh what’s this? How on earth did we miss that? It turns out we both didn’t look here and completely overlooked it. Silly us.
We signed the log and replaced the cache and raced off to the next one as we’re running out of daylight.
Thanks for bringing us here.

10:38:00 AM. Happened to be in the area and it was nice and quiet. Finally could attempt this one. A short walk to GZ and the cache and all it's ants were retrieved. Let the ants escape while signing the log. Cache returned into the ants that were left. Thanks for the cache Konie.
Konie I found your cache Industrial Roundabout on 6/3/2022, 8:55 am. This is my find 3269 and find # 2 today. After a thorough search found it still hanging around. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Unable to find not sure if its something with the crazy weather we have had or I’m just blind
Thankyou so much. Was definitely a fantastic hide.
We had a great time searching

While attending E_Smiley's GIFF Event, I became aware that she was arranging some assistance with a particular TOTT required for a particular cache that I also needed to complete a loop of my D/T grid. A plan was therefore hatched to meet up with domsky for a day of caching fun.
We had no difficulty in locating the cache, and with our names added to the log book, we continued on our way.
Thank you Konie for creating the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

It was lovely to find this one out on our expedition today. The weather was pretty good for a day out Geocaching with friends and we found this one safe in its hiding spot.
Log signed, and then a quick – back to the car to continue our journey.
Thanks Konie

Nice quick find with Peppa - right in the first place we looked. Thanks for the cache
It was PirateLinda who said “if will be …” and she was spot on… after 8 years the Industrial Park still has a lot of growing to do…

The Mrs and I decided to get out in the fresh air, the Mrs found the cache very quickly whilst I was looking a little too detailed, very well thought of cache. If your thinking it’s hard to find it’s right in front of your face
We watched a radio controlled helicopter go through its paces in the paddock across the way as we signed the log for this one. We had guessed exactly where to start looking and had success on our first look.TFTC Konie

Picking the geokiddos up from their mum this afternoon, had some time to kill before hand, so thought I'd target this area.
Had an idea where this would be and sure enough it was the first one I had checked, always great to have a win occasionally. All is good with the cache
Thanks for the cache **Konie**

Thought we might not find this one due to the mad storm the night before .... but we came up with the goods
First geocache we have ever found. Not as overgrown as the comments said. Was a lot of fun and we were very excited to find it. Thank you!!!
After acquiring an awesome collection of scary weed seeds, I finally figured out the hide. Thanks for the hunt, Konie.
TFTC smile 7076 out and about with miss Millie geo dog very cold today

Out for a day of caching with Mr CuriousQuest. This cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
After a big paddle day and then grabbing a few puzzle caches in the area with team Tyrrell, I planned to grab just a few more in the area before heading home. This was one of those, with no body around in the area today it was a quick easy find and with the log signed and cache replaced as found I was off to the next in the area. Thank you for placing this one here.
We are having a lovely drive around this area that we have not been to before. Parked in a safe place and walked over to GZ. Cache was quickly found and log signed. Thanks for the cache.
Out and about for an adventure with my mate Captain Chafeasaurus, this was our first for the day. Enjoyed the hunt and a fun find, and a new type of hide for CC. Nice quiet spot for a Saturday adventure. TFTC
1/6 in today's hunt.
1/6 in today's hunt.
Being a very quiet weekend, we decided we could get away with parking on the side of the roundabout. It did take us longer to find than we'd thought, but no other vehicles passed through the roundabout while we were there.
Found the sneaky thing hidden away nice and dry.
Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache.

Umm..we were all pretty snappy at this point. No caches in a picnic area! I jumped at this, then FOOD was on my agenda. Tricky one. Seen before. Umm Shown before. Lol
this was a quick find by mum (sunshine58) after jumping from the muggle aunts car the other day on our tour of the area..
by the time she'd parked and started walking over to us, we were already walking back to the car smiles ear to ear.
thanks konie for showing me here with a geocache.

I pulled up near the roundabout with the geoteen and made the short walk to gz. A quick find followed and then off to the next cache. Tftc Konie
Staying in an AirBnB on Ascot Way so had to look for a few close caches. Out for an early morning walk. So many great walkways and parks. Only downside were the mosquitoes. Thanks to the Wesso family for so many local caches, made our visit a lot more entertaining. Couldn’t see this one.
Sneaky cache but glad we found it. Had to make sure we showed our appreciation with a post in the logs.
This was my next find for the day while in the area.
I parked up down the way a bit and made my way toward GZ. I had an inkling what I might be looking for. After a few seconds.. and waiting for a break in the passing traffic, I soon had the cache in hand.
The log is about 3/4 full at the moment - but the cache is in good condition otherwise. After signing the log, I returned the cache to its home.
Another nice little area to visit and a clever and well-executed hide. TFTC Konie

Found it with a little help from chasingadventures log notes. We gave up at first and did another near by, then after a little light reading went back and got it. Great cache, I love the different ones.

Were standing right on the GPS spot but couldn't find it if it is hanging from something it must be the fence? Or a tree?
Having a screaming baby with us probably made it harder and gave us less patience though.... will be back.
