Targeting select caches as I head back north after finally getting the Canberra bomber 'oldie'. Skipping across the road, got to the edge of the scrub and had two approaches to pick from. The knee high grass approach from the road or to take a short cut around the scrub through a recent burnt off area. The GPS looked like the burn off was the way to go to pick up less cobbler pegs.
As it was, the GPS bounce and mis direction given saved my approx 5 metres in a 90m walk and still managed to collect all the pegs I needed for a hospital wash. Quickly found the decoy then went for a walk round the block before spotting the real deal. Clever puzzle and hide so happy to add another FP to the tally. Thanks for bringing me here ipswichsearchers.

Thanks for this one, had me scratching around looking for tubes but then it came to me and gave me a smile
We were in the area and saw this previously solved puzzle nearby. We found the decoy straight away and had the real container in hand shortly after. Thanks for the cache
We were parked across the road finding another cache and using the exercise equipment when we decided to walk across to this cache instead of driving around the block, much to my daughters dismay. I thought we might have been in for a bash through the long grass but it wasn't that bad.
As we arrived at GZ my son started fiddling and handed me the decoy cache, desperate to keep his streak for the day alive. When I told him we needed something else our brains went into overdrive. We looked all over and tried to eyeball something cryptic.
After my son had given up I stepped in for my crack at things and logically worked my way through it until the cache was discovered. Awarding an FP for the awesome cache and the fact that I was finally on the board with a find.
Earlier in the day Mrs Woodyrothwell had pricked her hand on a cactus because she thought it looked to fake and must be hiding a cache. When we saw another one on the way out she stayed well clear of it. tftc

I had a few minutes spare at work to solve a puzzle. Soon had the right spot once I slowed down and didn't try to guess ahead. Drove there after work and trapped off in full long pants and work gear. Soon found and then enjoyed opening the containers. Lovely to find something different and well made. TFTC
We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
Now in Ipswich for medical appointments, today we managed to head out before the heat got unbearable, to grab a few close to us caches.
We have seen quite a few caches along this theme but this is different again to those so a fave point for sure.

A cache tour in Ipswich with my australian geo cache friends: snickersallan, roddyc and petrol14. Thank you ipswichsearchers for Tubular ! It was a Special one for me! My 200! !! SO a good feeling to celebrate it with my australian geo cacher friends !Lovely Greetings from the german explorer-turtle
Today caching with RoddyC, Snickersallan and Entdeckerschildkröte in and around Ipswich.
With dusk nearly upon us this was our nearly last one for the day.
Parked nearby and located this cache, now how to retrieve the logbook?
Found it but then realised it was the decoy.
After some discussion amongst us, we tried something else and luckily the real cache was revealed.
What a clever cache... simple but clever!!!
Thanks for bringing us here and a milestone cache for Entdeckerschildkrote - #200!
Well Done!!
A favourite point from me!!!

Out on another adventure in the area with RoddyC, Entdeckerschildkröte and patrol14. We all thought this was a straight forward find until we found the sneaky thing that said 'decoy'. After a team discussion we decided on the best way to tackle finding the log book and something clicked for us and bingo, all was revealed. Happy to have been in the company of our lovely German visitor, Entdeckerschildkröte, as this was her 200th milestone find. A favorite point from me.

We came upon your cache, ipswichsearchers, while geocaching around Ipswich with Snickersallan, Entdeckerschildkröte and Patrol14
Had solved this puzzle quite some time ago, quite quickly thanks to the supplied key pad.
Parked appropriately and the group made it to GZ for a surprising find. Clever ine again, ipswichsearchers.
This was a special cache find for the group as we helped Entdeckerschildkröte celebrate her 200th find.
Log signed and replaced at 6.50 pm on 21 December 2017. TFTC.

Felt like looking for a few caches, so put my geodog Scruffy in the car and headed to Ipswich for the day.
Found the decoy (of course) then had to stop and think a bit.
Well, after discussing it with Scruffy, what we decided worked, and soon had the 'real' cache in hand.
Very clever and well made, well worth a Fav point.

fix up the problem by removing the mess ants have made in the workings

TFTC Thanks to the help from Cache Supreme who helped with the puzzle with came across GZ, it was here where we were tricked with the decoy. After searching around a little longer and reading previous activities we managed to find the cache, Wahoo!!!! Very Well Done ipswichsearchers.
Found the decoy without difficulty, except for the spear grass and cobbler pegs.
Will think about the cache and return another day.

Out caching with Misssusan79, Lisylou, Jemillalucy, Bennyboppers and Remsjw. This one had been on my list to do for a while. I'm glad I had extra people with me today to solve it. TFTC!
Kids ran ahead to find the cache who promptly found GZ and gave me the bad news. After a think, we solved the mystery and the prize was in hand. Log signed and replaced. TFTC Ipswich Searchers! Going to give this a fav point.
A very early Sunday morning and the mist was settling and the sun on the horizon. I was off to officiate at the nearby V8 event and needing a cache of the day, I solved this one overnight to be able to make this one my daily find. I found the cache fine, and its decoy. hmm... soon worked out what I needed to do and had the cache in hand. Replaced as carefully as I could. TFTC ipswichsearchers
The three week long Endeavour Rally started near the centre of Ipswich this morning. After chasing an early FTF, I was a bit late to see off bromance buddy, Swellerfungus on his rally. However, I belatedly caught up with SeffnJarah and we spent the morning chasing a few local Ipswich caches, including this puzzle.
It is a long, long time since I solved this. My solution was pretty clear, but took me to the wrong spot. I can't help wonder if the puzzle has changed since this. Anyway, Seff had a solution to hand and a short walk away we made the find. A nice puzzle with a nice twist to finish. Many thanks, ipswichsearchers

I was in Ipswich bright and early this morning to wave off Swellerfungus as he departed on his Endeavour Rally adventure. Crookedpete decided chasing an FTF was far more important than seeing off his alleged friend and so missed the actual send off. Eventually he arrived and we headed out to grab some caches in the local area.
This was my second visit to this cache. The first visit quite some time ago ended with a likely spot but no find. Upon returning home to recheck my numbers, I found I had made a mistake. With the correct numbers on board I was able to find the correct GZ, and with a bit of fiddling later we were able to retrieve the cache and add our names to the logbook. TFTC

Solved the puzzle last night. Check the coords and get a big green tick. Went to nearby park with friends and kids today and a find we made. Never before seen this type of cache.
I need to do some catching up, my logging is behind;
I'll write a note to let you know that I have made a find.
I'll change this note into a find when I can spare the time
To get my thoughts onto the page and finish off my rhyme.

We had no plans to be here today. My aim today was to pick up another "type" to complete the Spell September challenge but a slight hiccup at Mt French when we were confronted with a No Entry sign had us looking for another option. Spotted this and set about solving it on the way. Love caches with good parking and this has so many choices. Quick walk and we found what we had come for...finding the logbook took a little longer but we soon figured it out. Nicely done. Thanks ipswichsearchers..

With the puzzle part knocked over quickly, I made this the first cache off the rank on my short sojourn around Ipswich this afternoon.. [^] I Pulled up just up the hill from GZ and sauntered down as the GPS counted me in. On arrival at the location, I came across another fine construction...
I found the tricky little extra, but it wasn't long before I had my hands on what I was after... Nicely done by the way... With my name in the log and the bits and pieces all back together, I returned the container back to its original state and ascended back to the car...
Another great cache in the series and a well deserved favourite from me.
Cheers ipswichsearchers.

Captain Terror had said that he has worked out the final for this one a while ago but hadn't gotten around to finding it and this trip was the perfect reason to. We got out of the car and headed in to this one as the first one for the day, the grass was still wet! Just what we wanted!
After getting to "GZ" and not finding anything we had a look at the description again and realised that Captain Terror had found this one before it moved so we had to re-work out the coordinates for the final. We did a quick calculation and moved on to do a search in the new spot. Nope, still nothing ....Another check and we found some how Captain Terror had made another mistake in the calculations and we weren't in the right place! Net88's turn! She'll take us in the right direction!
Yep, as we headed to the third location we could already see it. Found the decoy, then got the container. TFTC! Great cache construction!

Well. Where do I start with this log? Captain Terror, Sezzz and I had just started our roadtrip heading west and this was the first geocache for the day. The Captain parked the subaru and we headed down to the coordinates he had. I mentioned that the coordinates had changed and asked when he solved the puzzle. Apparently it was going to be fine because he just kept looking.
I suggested that we quickly resolve the puzzle. It took only a minute or so and we had new coordinates. The correct coordinates. We headed over and started looking. Why does everyone say it was easy? Where is it?
I stood there and resolved the puzzle AGAIN and asked the Captain what he had put into his GPSr. Turns out he mistyped the coordinates. REALLY?!?!
Again we headed for a short walk and this time we WERE at the right coordinates. It took a bit of fidgeting but soon we had the logbook free. We signed our names and replaced all as found. Thanks for the cache ipswichsearchers.

Oh boy, I am absolutely not going to be allowed to forget my failings at this geocache for a while.
Some time ago, and I've no idea how long it was, so it may have been before the location was changed, I solved this puzzle. Being the proud owner of a Nokia mobile (you know, the older type with buttons!) it was pretty easy. In fact I still have the solved location saved in my note up above.
Yesterday a trip westish was planned and so when consulting the geocaching map, I noted this solved effort along a possible route. Sure, let's grab that on the way! Today for Net88, Sezzz and I, this was the first stop of the morning. Thankfully roadside and I parked us only a few metres from the solved location.
Immediately I was in trouble for choosing to get a geocache in long grass, still wet this early in the morning. Y'all can stop whinging about the wet feet and itchy legs after we find it. A likely GZ was found and searched. No geocache. Not far away another likely spot. Nope. Umm, now what?
Net suggested we solve the puzzle again then and there. She read it out and I smashed out the message. Ah yes, those are different numbers - I evidently didn't update the co-ordinates with the puzzle early last year. Alright, GPSr now says only 40 metres away. More long, wet grass!
At the new spot the three of us hunted around but nothing seemed likely and indeed, we found nothing. No decoy as mentioned, and it sounds like an easy find. Net tried again with the puzzle and it was discovered I had typed the co-ordinates in wrong. Oh, heavens sake! How am I this useless?
Correct numbers entered and another 10 metre long roadtrip and yeah, damn right, that is easy to find! The three of us crowded around and I made a start to open it up. Net spotted another clue and we got the logbook out. Oh my, that is very well designed and built! I am a fan of silly PVC puzzles, so I think this deserves a favourite point! The log was signed and all replaced as found.
Now the car is some 50m away and the grass hasn't dried one bit. Net and I cleaned the car interior yesterday, and as soon as we arrived the floor mats were full of bits of grass. Hey, worth it for this cheeky hide - even if it took three attempts due to my complete incompetence TFTC ipswichsearchers

Had a lot of fun working out the coordinates for this one for our day trip to Ipswich. Cache eventually located, although the decoy made things interesting. TFTC!
After not caching for a little while we made a quick decision to jump in the car and just grab a few caches and with a flip of the coin we decided to travel east and grab some caches in and around Ipswich. Have had this one worked out for quiet awhile. So even though we said the last one was the last one we decided to find just one more. This one. Quickly found and decoy avoided. Great hide and TFTC ipswichsearchers
This cache was solved many moons ago, and remained in my 'Solved but Unfound' pile as I just never seemed to come out this way. In fact I have never been in this area in my life (that I can recall). I had some time for some solo caching today so decided it was finally the right time to head out this way. As is always the way with long ago solved puzzles I wondered if I had written the new coords down correctly. Fortunately I had no problems today, and soon came across what looked like something that didn't belong. I was thrown by the little surprise, and only after a minute of thought knew what I had to do. Sure enough a cache came to hand.
Thanks Ipswich Searchers! Well put together GZ indeed. It was worth the effort you put into it.

What a fun and well prepared cache!!! I enjoyed working out the numbers but the real fun was the actual cache! The first part confused us but we stopped and thought about it and within no time had the log in hand. If I had a fav point you would get it. Flora and team bad will though.
I had a super long week-end in Toowoomba from Friday until Tuesday.
and I am now making my way home via a couple of caches.
I found a good car park and walked down the hill through the long grass ... eventually the phone led me to GZ and an interesting cache container.
A fav point for the container.

Enjoyed the puzzle to get to this. I was unable to remove the log, therefor I didn't put pen to paper. However thanks ipswichsearchers for this cache.
Turned up at the posted co-ordinates and spent a while wondering what I was missing. Eventually checked my notes and moved off to GZ . Haven't done that for a while. I thought I was getting better at this geocaching thing. After a bit of a fiddle, the cache was revealed ... okay, a second fiddle revealed the cache as well . Signed the log and took just as long to put it all back together. Well, what else was I going to do with my afternoon anyway? .

This one was not too hard to find. My first visit to this area in many years. TFTC
It took me no time to figure the puzzle, although had to dig around to find a tool to help with that. I had solved it with the plan of the visit to Ipswich today with LHE Duo and nice to be able to pick up a different little puzzle.
So First off I confused myself by inputting the wrong coords, once I worked it out (glad it was just imputing the incorrect numbers and not actually calculating it wrong) we were off and found it in no time. I found the log, oh no opps, there it is.
It was at this point just as I had signed the log and about to replace everything the the blue and white car pulled into the park and made it's way down towards where Mrs LHE Duo was waiting. End up having a little chat to the officer who was unaware of Geocaching and was suitably happy with the reason we were where we were.
Anyway replaced things as they should be, and off we went.

After a conversation with the CO, and being told that I should look for this one, I decided that I really should try and get out to find it.
I had solved the puzzle the same day that it had been released, however just had not got around to actually looking for it.
I knew the park very well, as it is across the road from where I had my family fun day event GC3KHM7, in 2012, so I rounded up the family and off we went.
There was a visible trail, that from the gypsy with a travel bug, I could see led directly to the GZ.
I was the first to reach the cache and in no time had found ...... OOooohhh one of those !!!!!
I stood back to think about the situation, but before I could test out a possibility the cache maker had the log book in hand.
I must say that it is a great cache to bring cachers to the area and I will give you a favourite point for your creativity.
Thanks for the cache ipswichsearchers

Out on a Freaky Friday with IolantheK. We had both solved the puzzle ready to head to GZ. A nice quick find at GZ. Took a couple of goes to get the log book though
Out and about on yet another Freaky Friday with teamdfl. We both had solved this one last night, and I liked doing the puzzle. This afternoon we headed over to GZ and took the short walk. The cache was a quick find, but how to get the logbook?!?!? Wait, what if I do this[?] Very cleverly constructed. TFTC, ipswichsearchers. Something a little different, so a favourite point from me.
I had to find this cache while in town. There was a tow truck parked just off the side of the road but the driver didn't seem to notice me walk past. Once at GZ, I scratched my head as nothing wanted to move until I tried a bit harder. And with a bit more fiddling and fumbling befoer the log was was in hand.
Another very good piece of design and manufacture.

After solving the puzzle and checking the results this morning it was time to head for the cache. Rolled up and the only thing we had to worry about was being attacked by the nearby Plovers who tend to be protective of their young. However these decided to leave us alone and soon we were at the cache. After a bit of this and a little of that the log was in hand and being signed. Put everything back as found and headed off to get a few more finds for the day. TFTC
The puzzle was solved so we headed out to find this cache. We did not have to contend with any muggles today just some plovers with there young ones. I had not seen a cache quite like this one before but luckily ManicWombat had. Soon had log in hand, signed and returned it to it's hiding spot. TFTC
Found this one a few days ago but have only found the time to log it now... We made our way to the gz and spotted the hide and it left us dumb-founded for a few mins but worked it out some what quick... I love hides like this... These ones r the reasons why i go into geocaching.. Anyone can roll.a.log book up and hide it somewhere.out of the way but not everyone can go to this much effort... Thanks for the cache...
Our first coded cache quickly figured it out before grabbing geokids from school and headed to GZ, thought we had it but alas was not to be. Very clever after having a look see around and a bit of a think on previous logs cache was in hand. Signed & returned TFTC

I'm a little confused, found this on the 13th of August around 330pm and logged it not long after and come up dated the 12th, edited date to correspond with the correct date and now have a souvenir saying found "tomorrow"........... First time I've encountered date issues

# 6144 Found on our 2013 winter escape trip to Qld.
We are in Ipswich for a few days to have a good look around.
I solved the puzzle quick enough last night and arrived expecting a little trouble.
Not so difficult thankfully and very well done. Another favourite for a good puzzle.
Another day of the 31 day challenge completed as well.
Thanks for the cache ipswichsearchers,
Roostaman.

This one had me stumped for a while. I had worked out the puzzle on the weekend and thought I'd grab a quick find on the way home from work today. Not the case. After reading other logs I new I had it right but the puzzling continued. After a second attempt I had it. A great Cache. Worth a FP. TFTC.
After the good reviews so far, I made this cache my primary target in a short window of opportunity this afternoon.
Taking the hint from Tricky-T, I approached from a wider angle, and soon found a tube. Not one of those, I thought... I don't have any water!
No, it's not one of those... but it's still very amusing! It took a little while to figure it all out, but I declare myself well satisfied with the entertainment value - Fav point and *recommended*. TFTC Ipswichsearchers!

Don't know how I missed this one when it came up and only discovered it this morning. Bugger. Now, I'm hopeless at most puzzles but this one seemed logical and was. Had a set of co-ords in about ten minutes. Dropped kids off at school and raced over to GZ. A short walk had me standing next to a very interesting object? Hmmm? Bugger have I been decoyed? Time to reassess??? Well, the answer was there all along. A most enjoyable cache, thank you ipswichsearchers definitely a favourite point from me.
