Even though this cache is disabled I still went for a look as it gotten the best of me 3 years ago, I now understand why this cache has a lot of favourites, I found a place to leave my mark on the log sheet, hopefully the CO changes the sheet so that this cache does not become archived. TFTC

In Anglesea today to do a Wherigo cache and also wanted to seek revenge on a previous DNF for this cache. I had this one saved on my smartphone and it was only once I refreshed the cache page when I got to GZ that I realised it was disabled due to a full logbook.
So Mrs Perpetuallylost and I set about searching again since we were here anyway. This time by sheer fluke I tried something that I thought might be worth a try and couldn't believe my luck when I had the cache at last. Awesome piece of hiding ogrebeast and absolutely a FP for this one! Managed to find a little bit of blank room on the logsheet but it really does need replacing. Cheers!!!

Hi there Cache Owner,
It looks like this cache might need some attention from you, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue with the placement. It is being temporarily disabled to discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed, as well as to remove it from search listings.

#What should you do:-#
- Should the regional Health and Victorian Government requirements allow it **AND** you feel it safe for you to maintain and address this cache now, please feel free to do so. Don't forget to log an 'Owner Maintenance ' log and also Enable the cache once the issue is fixed.
- **Alternatively,** what you need to do is place a Write Note log indicating a date when you you expect you might be able to attend to the issue/s.
#Please Note#
When a Reviewer next looks in on this cache , if there is no acknowledgment from the CO as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned and processed accordingly.
Thanks for you cooperation,

Found by Aussie Train Driver 14/06/2020, find number 1579.
Out exploring the wetlands with the family today and we extended the walk slightly and detoured to find this cache. I was surprised with how many vehicles were on the road but we managed (miraculously) a quick find, between passing cars. This one is very sneaky and I doff my hat to you in commendation of the cache construction.
I was able to squeeze an abbreviation of my name onto the log book but the cache definitely needs a new log. TFTC!

Returned to this one after a DNF some time ago, very glad to be able to turn this one in smiley. Most definitely the craftiest hide of this type. May thanks ogrebeast

Venturing down the Great Ocean Road to a family wedding in Apollo Bay, B & C made an early departure in order to grab some caches en route.
This was our first stop for the day, I was pleasantly surprised to find the cache in the first spot I looked. Nice and peaceful down here today, just us and the birds. Log is starting to fill but still space for a few more finds.
Thanks ogrebeast for placing this Micro Traditional - this is find 1572 for BFMC

Very cool and well camouflaged. All in good condition. Fave point from me. TFTC
It took a curious Scout to locate this! Enjoyed a little geocaching during our time at Eumeralla, then paddleboarding this weekend. Thanks for the awesome cache!
Epic fail 2 years ago. One other visit last year and still no joy. This time I had a win. I am sure I looked right there last time .
Doesn't matter with a blue face now smiling yellow I am pleased.
Very sneaky hide thank youogrebeast

Another Anglesea nemesis done and dusted thanks to being wiser to wiley ways! TFTC
Well luck was certainly on our side for this one. Had the cache in hand in about 20 seconds without needing a tott. We both looked at each other with shocked faces which turned into the biggest grins.
Brilliant cache ogrebeast and thanks for the cache.

#2169 Having a few days break from Melbourne doing a loop trip through the Otways and this was the 15th cache (of 17) we stopped to do on the way. We always enjoy finding caches a bit different to the norm and appreciate the thought, time and effort that goes into them. Had us going for a while this one but persistence paid off. Like others, we had our hand on this a couple of times before a revisit finally paid dividends. Thanks ogrebeast, a fav from us.
We turned up to this location ready to be in for the long haul and surprisingly we had located the log in under ten seconds! We spent longer filming a large tiger snake crossing the road 100 meters away from GZ. This is a clever hide and deserving of an FP. TFTH
5 and a half yrs later we finally found it! We first looked when it was first published. After about 4 attempts back then we gave Bushfire a call for a hint. Not wanting to make it too easy he said he’d give my then 9yo daughter a few hints over the phone. They spoke for a couple of mins with my daughter nodding along the way. When that finished, I asked her what he’d said. Her reply, something like “I’m not really sure”! We tried briefly a few other times over the years. We were a bit fixated on the large wire rope type thing on the ground that’s no longer there these days. Finally today a quick find with my 12 yo son, no tools required. Though the log fell out & we very nearly lost it down a hole. Did need a natural tool or two then to retrieve! All good though with no damage. Fav point for the effort here though my fondness for this bl00dy cache wore off years ago!
A sneaky little hide - very similar to one we own up in the NE of the State. SL at 10.35am with Ava from Beavar. #5901 TFTC ogrebeast - our first for the day - our last full day in the area - for this visit.
A devious little hide. That is all I will say. TFTC
A trip east to Parkville 2018 had us stopping on the way to collect a few caches and again stopping on the way home. Well that’s what cachers do when they head to a mega don’t they.

Find No. 2405. Found at 11.50am.
Down in Anglesea for the weekend with Geodog Penny to take her back to the beach, have a look around and of course do some caching. FUF009 came with us this time.
Our third and final day in the area, so today we are going to grab a few before heading for home. This was the last one for the area today before heading for home.
What a cache. Last time we were down here in June we had to do a DNF. Yesterday we visited it with FUF009 thinking that three sets of eyes would be better but no such luck, so again we had to leave it after spending quite some time looking for it. Back again today for another look and FUF009 decided to do a PAF who found it in 2016. So with the clues given by them and with the use of a 15 inch Sidchrome we managed to find the cache and add our names to the log.
Wow what a tricky tricky hide, one that you really have to work for to get and one that we won't forget in a hurry. A fav point given.

Find # 7252
Found with Tyred n Cranky.
Down in Anglesea for a weekend family trip. While Tyred n Cranky had found quite a few in the area they decided to stop at a lot of them to let me claim some smilies.
Last day and heading home today, so it was kind of a "Map Clean up" day and just to try and grab some more in and around Anglesea.
If there is going to be one cache to me memorable on this trip, it will be this one.
once the find was made it was Tyred n Crankys 4th visit and my second one.
Yesterday we were here and after quite some time but we gave up and left empty handed.
But we could not leave with out another look today.
So at GZ for some time again, using a PAF or 2 (they had found it back in 2016) and with the help of a 15inch SIDCHROME, we managed to get our names in the log.
Oh so evil..... so so evil. But so glad to have made the find.

Didn't see anything out of place here.

Down in Anglesea/Torquay area for the Long Weekend to take Geodog Penny back to the beach, finish off the G2Anglesea trail and grab a few others along the way.
We finished the G2Anglesea trail on Saturday, grabbed a few here and there while we were being tourists and looking around the area on Sunday and today (Monday) plan to grab a couple of quick ones before heading for home.
Over the weekend we have been to Point Addis, Bells Beach, Torquay and Anglesea areas to see what we can find.
As this was on our way to another cache we stopped off to grab it but unfortunately for us today we had no luck. We both checked the guard rail thoroughly but came up empty handed. Decided to check previous logs only to see that there were three other DNF's and that it was last found in October 2017. Think this one needs checking by the CO.

Hubby can claim this one all on his own!! We tried this, that and everything in between, just short of pulling the rail apart.
We resorted to reading previous logs when hubby said "I reckon its this, and like he managed to say the magic words with a twist of his hand (no tools required) the cache magically appeared... NO WAY!
Very cool, very clever camo, the type we love and very deserving of one of our favourite points!

Was here back in May. Just had a really quick look as there were so many DNA's we weren't going to bother spending too much time on it. Couldn't see anything so off we went
In the Anglesea area for the day to stop in at an annual Rover camp called Surfmoot and see some friends, we decided to do some caching on our travels. The trip started with a lunch of chips and gravy at jums in Anglesea. From here, we made our way to Lorne for the market, then out to Erskine Falls, and back to the Anglesea hotel for dinner.
We looked all over for this one, and short if deconstructing the guardrail, we just weren't finding it.

Away for a couple of days with Bazinga01 and his family in Anglesea. With Bazinga01's new kyack we go on our first of many kyacking cache runs. I jumped out to have a look at this one but after reading the cache I only had a quick look before leaving it for another time.
Three years running we have visited this spot, and still not found it. The steel cable has disappeared, various nuts have been loosened but none the wiser. So obviously a very sneaky cache. With TeamVal.
After coming here for the 3rd time we finally got it after finding some helping clues. (Spanner not needed)
My last Anglesea cache for this Mega getaway.
I visited here earlier in the day and hadn't found it, even with looking at previous log. I thought I knew where it was and thought I needed a TOTT to get at it. So I headed off to pick up a couple of other trads and decided I would come back after lunch with Little Ruverbug and Morgatron13 in the BugJam mobile, to find it.
When we came back I looked at where I thought it was, alas it was not there. Ordinarily I would have just kept looking until I had found it. But being on a fairly tight timeline I put out a request for a PAF, which I quickly received and retrieved and signed the log.
Clever hide, well done.

Another cache found around Anglesea after the last Surf coast event. Caching with mogni, brisal5, Mark and Bushfire. TFTC.
## Gathered with a group of cachers after a nearby, event to complete some T5 caches.
A nice, dirt track from a nearby event and riverside, but that was the easy part.
Even with as many cachers and sets of eyes, we still had troubles finding the cache.
Needless to say, when it was found, it hadn't been replaced properly making it more difficult to find.
Thanks for the tricky cache orgrebeast ##

found it with a group of cachers as we going from one t5 cache to the next, I think we where falling all over each other and making this one harder than it needed to be.
Day 6 of my week long visit to Victoria.
Today our team was to be GOTHS plus 1. GOTHS being the Geocachers Of The HillS - a group of SA cachers. Myself, mogni and Aussie M&M were the GOTHS members and local cacher Bushfire was the plus 1 [:o)]
After the hectic competition of yesterday it was time to just pick up a few caches at our leisure. Caches with lots of favourite points, ones that seemed a bit interesting, some more of the surf coast caches and a few others along the way were targeted
After a long lunch at the waterfront in Geelong it was time for a walk! And then it was time to head back towards Anglesea and the last of the events. Finding more caches as we went of course.
And whilst at the event we noticed a small group wandering off towards the wetlands. One in wet-suit with surfboard. That can only mean one thing. Caches. So we tagged along also. This flummoxed the group for quite a long time. And then there was Honeysucker giving out misleading clues that made sure we took even longer. It was only when we ignored him that the cache presented itself. [^] And for penance he had to return with a tool kit to fix all the others parts that were unnecessarily loosened.
Thanks ogrebeast.

Our last full day in Anglesea as part of the Surf Coast Mega and getting to know more about Anglesea and the coastal towns and areas nearby. There is a good variety of caches and appreciate the COs time and effort in placing and maintaining them.
Oh this one was hard work, but WOO HOO when we finally found and extracted the log!! Found with a group of caching friends after the farewell event.
During this 'extra long weekend', I attended my very first Australian Mega - held in a beautiful part of the world - Anglesea, Victoria.
I also:
- shared some awesome moments with friends [^]
- laughed lots and maybe even cried a lil
- got some lovely hugs and a few playful slaps
- became the resident paramedic on the trip (as I believe my favourite MICA paramedic recently retired ) - maybe it was because I seemed to be the one with the best stocked medication bag LOL
- completed a new power trail and found plenty of caches, including challenge caches I have either already qualified for, or very soon will [^]
I even achieved my 4000th cache find (in 10.5 months) and found 10 different cache types in one day with the help of my beautiful buddies (including my tree climbing 'ex' LMAO) [^] Six events in total this weekend WOO HOO!!!
Thanks to everyone who assisted me whilst caching this weekend - particularly Ms Locus Cache who joined me on yet another girls road trip, and the lovely Clare007 who stayed with us, cached and then accompanied us home.

Told how I would find this one and this made it a lot quicker. Great little hide. Don't know if I would give it a favourite if it took a long time to find, but it didn't so favourite awarded. TFTC
Okay, this was difficult! In more ways than one. We looked. More cachers turned up. The search continued in earnest. Previous logs were consulted. Eventually, a PAF ensued and we were left with a good idea of what we needed to do but we just couldn't do it. Another PAF ensued, a bigger tool was pulled out and more force was applied to the object in question. Finally the treasure was revealed. Phew, it feels like we all but dismantled the guardrail in our efforts, lol. TFTC
A small group gathered to collect a couple of the more challenging caches in the area...we had some caches with big find numbers with us and this proved even challenging for them but it was finally extracted...log signed...TFTC ogrebeast
Found at 1655. Found while attending the Surf Coast Mega Event. Found with the assistance of another cacher. TFTC.
I was out paddling with Jamin and Screma when Jamin noticed Steve's car drive past. We ground the craft and joined the search. Others arrived too. Thankfully a plumber had the required tools cause it took 2 pafs and a lot of strength to access the log. I am not sure the crash barrier will ever recover from the MEGA weekend. I hope most of what we undid got put back together before we left. Thanks for the cache.
An extremely tricky hide. We practically pulled the rail apart before eighthknox was able to reveal the awesome container. I then had the job of returning everything back as it should be. A very well manufactured cache container and I don't know how we're not still there because this should not have been as quick as it was. TFTC
Group of us went on an adventure to collect this cache and some others.
Took a little time to find while some previous finders stood back and watched.

Day three of our SCE weekend...
Well, I spent quite a while here before resorting to the PAF option for a hint from Crackers. I have seen this type of hide previously and it reminded me very much of a Romax style hide.
Thank you, ogrebeast, for this cache.

#3820. Log signed at 1553Hrs.
(I often signed the log book as "W+W" to save paper/time/ink)
PAF was very much required here as the previous finder had made finding the cache nigh impossible. Anyway thankfully one of the throng of cachers that had pulled up happened to have the required equipment to sort out the problem and very quickly we had our name in the logbook. Fantastic hide in the perfect location for this sort of cache. Nice work
After the Farewell to Anglesea, we headed out to have one more go at this tricky hide. We investigated all the previous spots before deciding to concentrate on one spot. But we could not get it undone. Try as we could we were not strong enough. So back to the car for a rethink before resorting to a TOTT. After that the hide was revealed. Will have to give you a fav point for this one. Now to put the Armco back together.

MaggieDot and I were up for the mega and decided to do a hard one as we had a bit of time. other cachers were already looking so we joined the hunt. MaggieDot outdid herself and found it almost straight away. Thanks for the sneaky hide.
I almost tried for this one a couple of weeks ago when paddling here with friends but we didn't Today I was on my own for a short while and ended up here. It took a few minutes but using the hint I got there. A very clever hide well worth a favourite!
Out for some morning geocaching with Earthbound Chief and Coley Babee. Thanks to Autumn Tree and Maggie dot for arriving and finding the cache for us. TFTC.
Thank you to Maggiedot & Autumn Tree (hope I got that right?) who came along while we were playing the clueless game and saved our sanity! A few things stood out but just not the cache! Thank heavens for their help.
We were warned by others at the mega that this one was not going to be easy, so perhaps with this knowledge we were looking outside the square. It didn't take us too long to find - but a great hide that could take hours for those that haven't seen this type of hide before. tftc
Out and about with AutumnTree after popping in to the Mega. We'd been a bit lairy of this one as we tend to struggle with difficulty above a 3, but we were GeoKid free and had a bit of time so it was on our list to attempt.
When we pulled up there were already a couple of teams looking and struggling. AutumnTree and I separated, with AutumnTree looking in one area and me in another. There was a particular spot that I was sure must be right, but wasn't giving any joy. Until I took a slightly different approach and could yell 'FOUND IT'! Hooray!
Lovely to meet Earthbound Chief and -Lisette-!

In town for the Surf Coast Event. Today we decided to get in the kayak and find some caches. A beaut sunny morning with only a bit of wind, a nice paddle and a few stops where we got out to find caches along the way.
This one had us guessing for ages but we eventually loosened up to the problem and soon had the cache to hand!

On our way to the Earth cache up the road we stopped by here for what Sims_family Mum thought was just a drive by. Mmm D4 we think we know what is required but we are unable to make the find. Just could budge it. So we leave and head up and complete the earth cache on our way back we spot a previous find standing here with another fellow cacher. This time we wre sure were it is and Neville_devil uses a tool with enough force to reveal this hide.
We were on the money first time just could get it free.
A hide type we have seen before but still worthy of a Favourite point.
Thank you ogrebeast for the cache

As part of the Surfcoast Mega, we volunteered to man an Activity Station for the Tournament, and it was nearby to this location where we were sent to set up for the afternoon. In a quiet time between the competitors, we made the short stroll to find this cache.
We had actually tackled this one the previous evening on our way back from the coalmine but had no luck in the fading light. Today, with less distraction and more time, we eventually discovered this very clever hide. TFTC ogrebeast and for opening our eyes to even more ways to hide a logbook.

I was Anglesea for the weekend for the Mega Event.
After the morning meet and greet I caught up with Jacko83 for a bit of yakking up the Anglesea River.
Jacko83 had already found this cache so he watched the yaks while I went ashore to search for the cache. I was soon accompanied by other cachers and we hunted and hunted until we had a good idea of where it might be. A tool was eventually used to reveal the cache.
Thanks for the hide.

We were travelling the area with Alansee, The Coffee's and maccamob picking up caches as we went.
This was a cache that took us a little way to locate but when it was finally sorted out, we all went "That's a ripper"
Thanks for the cache, we are leaving a favorite point.

Out and about on this Um.......... Fine day getting as many caches as I can before I head off. What a weekend it's been some multis mysterys night caches, heaps of trads, mega, cito, and a few events. Thanks surf coast for a great weekend out.
Heading out this morning with lukie1987 to pick up a few caches before heading back to the mega for today's events. This was one of the caches we did on the way. A very sneaky hide. TFTC
We had stopped by on the way to the Coalmine Views cache up the road a bit. Had a look and a poke around but could locate nothing apart from a small slither of geocaching log roll. Stopped back in on our way out when we saw heaps of others looking for the same cache. Someone had phoned a friend for some guidance and within moments the cache was located. Very sneaky. Love it.
Cheeky cheeky we were in the zone high on life and got this one quicker than the next team as we watched on great hide
Lucky we had had a slight tip off with this one...even still it did take is a while. Excellent cache camo, found with Glanville Girls, thanks ogrebeast, a favourite from us.
I found this cache on the second day on my Surf Coast Mega event adventure, After having dinner I gave Ikkibrady a message a asked if he wanted to do a few caches before it gets to late, to which he agreed. He soon came past and we made our way to several caches including this one. We both had fun finding these caches and exploring the local area before getting some sleep to get up early to get all the lab caches tomorrow. Anyways thanks for the cache and the adventure.
The D rating attracted up to this one. A bit of a look and we soon found the sneaky bit of camo. We added our initials and re hid TFTC.
We were in the area this weekend for The Surf Coast event, our second ever Mega.
Not usually liking crowds I have to say I really enjoyed the Mega, I was reminded how diverse and friendly our caching community is and this mega also reminded how many friends I have within the community, a warm fuzzy buzz has lasted several days!
We didn't do any crazy numbers and avoided the power trails mostly.
I had my family with me, caching wears thin on them after awhile so we did some easy ones near the Mega then we ventured out and focused on my favorite caches which are Earth caches and letterboxes.
Ms-enchantress and her lovely family came along.
This was one of the caches we found during the weekend.
We appreciate the time and effort the CO has gone to and please don't hold this copy and paste log against us!
