Some branches have been cut, so I was a bit worried the cache might have gone. But it's still here. Found it today and (sorry!!) when I opened the lid the pencil felt out. I couldn't find it, wanted to replace with my pen but it didn't fit in.
Next one needs to bring a pen please.
Sorry

2539 Should have read the description before setting off. It would have saved me a long walk but then I would have missed seeing some of the park. Eventually I got there and made the find.
Wow, that was a trek through the swamp. Lovely sunny day and a peaceful spot in suburbia. Thank you
All these areas we run in and didn't realize there were caches hidden nearby. Thanks for bringing us here
Nice quick find with a big stretch. There was a tent near GZ close to the flax bushes~ a sneaky place to freedom camp or perhaps some neighborhood kids use this in the weekends? Didn't go over for a nosy but was curious about it being in this scheduled wee spot. TFTC
We had a bike ride around Papamoa yesterday afternoon, but realised we needed to spend more time here so this morning, StreetWalker loaded the bikes onto the car and we headed back. We had mixed results in the morning - 10 finds and 4 DNFs, but the afternoon's tally was much better and we found all caches searched for.
We biked to this cache, despite the lack of path. It was hard going on the recently mown grass as the (long) grass cuttings had been left there. Indeed a crowd of posts at GZ, and a quick find. TFTC.

#11796. Riding through the grassy stubble was hard work, but still preferable to walking on my twisted ankle. TFTC.
Joined up with yorkshirekiwi83 today and headed down to Papamoa and Mount Maunganui for a long day of caching. We arrived in Papamoa early in the morning and then spent the rest of this hot summers day making our way to The Mount and finding what caches we could along the way. A quick find of the cache here, while on our travels. TFTC!

Vistra and I had decided to go for a full on day and head down to Papamoa / Mount Maunganui to see if we could get some numbers and quick drive bys.
Walked to this from thirsty cache, spotted the cache and climbed up to reach it, nice quick find, TFTC

Ninalila and I are going for a walk in Papamoa to visit and find a few cache since we are here for a few days.
We discovered some very nice and calm places, and some nice cache
It was very pleasant on both 25th and 26th to walk around with the sun and see some huge houses.
The place near the water is very beautiful and calm, easy to log cache since there are not muggles.
We logged with our team name : Lekiprokos
Thank you to all owners for the caches and the discoveries

Back down paps this afternoon for my daily cache, Its one of the last areas locally I can head to now to keep the streak going (so feel free to put more out hehe)
Nice walk down to GZ and then liked having to climb up to get it, spotted right away and nice quick one then back to the car.
Cheers noodlekidz

Out for a cool little bike ride this afternoon and netted us a few more smileys. Been eyeing this one up for a while, had a few dry days now so thought it would be a good time to go before the rain is forecast tomorrow again. Used our eagle eyes to spot this one, I like it. tftc.
Out looking around for caches in the area and puzzles we solved, and saw and got this one )

Out for a numbers mission in and around The Mount and Papamoa with 11HPG11 and iammrwalker today. With a very early start of 5am agreed on, it was going to be a long day compounded by the All Blacks playing before we left which meant a 3am alarm being set the night before. We all had a great time and a lot of laughs were had in between some frustrating hides, a really enjoyable multi and a couple of great field puzzles. All in all a very successful day with only a handful of DNF's, the weather keeping at bay for most of the day and 86 new smiles added to the map in a little under 13 hours of caching. We signed the cache log "Hi 1" an acronym of our caching names. A big thanks to all the cache owners for placing some great caches.
Yes very crowded here, but no muggles around so we were happy for that. No troubles locating the cache.

This was one of more than fifty Geocaches I found today in the company of HKB and 11hpg11. We signed the logs HI1, an anachronism of our handles to save on log space. We travelled over to the Mount and Papamoa from Hamilton, leaving at the end of the All Black/ South Africa test at about 5am and didn’t roll back into Hamilton until after 8pm. It was a long day, and the weather wasn’t the best but that didn’t stop us from having a great time exploring the area and enjoying the wide variety of high quality hides.
I spotted this one. We enjoyed our walk around this area even though the weather wasn't the best but weren't to bothered as we new we would be getting VERY wet to get another cache on our list soon enough...

My last morning in the Mt Maunganui/Papamoa area to pick up a few more caches before heading back home in the afternoon.
It certainly was up above my head.
Cheers for the cache.

I kind of went the long way round to get to Thirsty Cache. Glad I had my bike as it wouldv'e been quite a boggy walk.
Cache was found easily and reached not so easily but got there in the end. Signed log and put cache back.

Every day we are traveling around is same but also different. Today we had again the pleasure to visit some very beautiful spots and were also able to find nearly placed geocaches. I thank every single owner for placing it and giving us with doing this an other good reason to come here.
Mallorcatommy and I were travelling through the northern island of New Zealand. What an amazing, breath-taking landscape! On our way we did some nice walks, enjoyed ourselves and found great geocaches. Thanks to all owners for nice hiding spots... We wouldn't have been to a few places without these little boxes!
Thank you!
Thank you!
TFTC dropped the lid arrrghghh surprisingly difficult to spot but soon found it thank goodness
This vertically challenged pair were very grateful for the bottom rail. As usual, Steed spilt blood, he never comes home from a caching day unscathed.
Found while on a weeks camping at Papamoa and out on our bikes to check out
the water ways. The grass was a bit long to bike on today.TFTC

Went to check on the cache today and looks like it has been muggled. Will get a new container in place soon.
Very wet & boggy here today after all the rain! Would have been a pleasant wander otherwise. TFTC
Area all flooded last time we were here. Still wet but able to get in and out with out getting wet sox.
Quick dash between squalls before our library visit. Got covered in mud running through the puddles though, so had to get changed! kids impressed at size of cache, took stickers, left magnets. Tftc.
Cache had a broken lid, so today we came down to replace it when we saw the cache/contents scattered metres from GZ.
A new cache a has made. Will replace it when we have time.ie in a couple of days

I parked up close by and sent the two older kids out to find this one as the 2 year old was asleep in the car. They were gone for about five minutes then they appeared again from around the corner cache found and log signed. We were of to find the next one.
A quick find by my 6-year old son. Took the Travel Pirate to move it on as we were visiting the area and can give the pirate a new cache a distance away. TFTC
A good sized cache, thanks. Should have worn more sensible shoes but you can't make an omelet without cracking eggs! TFTC

Drizzling and very cloudy this afternoon. GPS all over the place. Nearly gave up when I spotted the clue and sure enough there was the cache. Cache container will need a new lid soon, broken where it screws on. Many thanks for the cache
A good sized container but at risk of weedeaters taking the top off. Lid was showing signs of an attack already. A nice walk with the dog. TFTC
Fortunately, no crowds, just a huddle of posts near Fashion Island, many thanks for the cache.
