Lovely afternoon geocaching with my daughter driving. Beautiful sunshine and great company travelling these country roads.TFTC
Found with catnap777 on a cruisy Saturday enjoying the country side and picking up a few "local" caches just cos. This one was the last of the day picked up on our homeward journey as outside was getting a bit warm to be outside. We are guessing Creighton State School # 2644 was a "School of Rock". TFTC BettyBoo3747.
dalerious and I had a wonderful day picking off a few "local" caches today.A rarity, as we don't often stay close to home on the weekend, but the forecast was for hot days, so we decided to stop home and go out in the mornings to do our caching, and back home before the heat was at it's worst. We also took the opportunity to take our working dog Peggy for a drive and run in the countryside. Something she doesn't get to do alot of.Cache was found and signed and placed back ready for the next finder . Thank you BettyBoo3747 for this cache.
On my way to do the North East Victoria Sio trail and this was my first stop on the way, nice spot with lots of water from yesterdays storm. TFTC
I had this on my to do list when I passed by a few months ago but on that occasion time was against me so no search was made. Having spent most of my life in schools both being educated and as an educator I like visiting the sites where schools once existed. Thank you for this cache. It was a quick find and in condition.
The start of a long drive to Sydney, so to help break things up a bit, a few caches along the way are in order to keep the brain in gear and the concentration going as this trip, Im on my own. I got going extra early in order to allow for this, and in particular, one hide Ive been looking at for a few years at Mt Piper.A quick deviation from the main road for a nice find, but had me circling for a while before finally spotting it.
We collected a few spiders in webs as we hunted for this one! Too busy looking for snakes to notice them! Thanks for the nice quick find along an otherwise mundane drive.
A whole four day trip with Aquilus1 to do the GeoTour in Ballarat some caching around Geelong and anything else that looked good on the way.
Weather was ok albeit a bit on the wet side for the first two days. Now on day 3 the weather is bice and sunny and we are pressing on with the last few Geotour caches on the way out and driving towards Queenscliff.
On our way back tom Canberra now.
This cache was one of the ones we had the oportunity to do.
A nice cache here!
Thank you BettyBoo3747 for the nice cache and experience you gave us!

So easy to drive down that long black road and miss everything. It's great to highlight these lost locations and stop to discover them along the way.
This cache was one found on a trip away with Flintstone's for 4 days. We had the Geotour in Ballarat as our target, and made our way as far as Queenscliff.
Ballarat caching was a joy, and with the tour, we saw many lovely and interesting locations as well as stopping for many other caches as we passed. Lots of little walks helped with the colder first few days as well as being quite scenic.
A change of weather and scenery towards Queenscliff but the coast was a great place to visit with plenty to do and see. As always, more to do than there was time for, will just have to return one day! Thank you for your cache!

TFTC. BettyBoo3747 for your cache Creighton State School # 2644 that we found today.
We are staying at our daughter’s farm block just about mid way between Shepparton and Violet Town. A lovely start to to the week with sunshine. Went out driving to Longwood and then back via Euroa, caching as we went. It has been a longtime since we have been this way. We did a stint at a BlazeAid camp in Longwood after fires and I (Hans) had done many miles cycling out this way.
All caches were found in good order and mostly quickly.

Another cache found on the way to the Wangaratta event. Thanks for bringing us here and informing us about the local history, even if it is depressing.
i too have driven past many times, noted and wondered what that rock was about. Now I know and thanks for the hide BettyBoo3747. Lots of native bees around here today too.
Well when I arrived here the rain had stopped.
Ground was wet and dark clouds still loomed around.
I jumped a few puddles, then I signed away!

Find #5048. Found @ 13:44 with AmethystPig and Muggle-L
On the way up to Wangaratta for the Mega, and we stopped for a cache or two along the way. Some of them AmethystPig had already found in the olden days when he used to take breaks on the drive back to ACT.
After some car passenger swapsies at lunch, I pulled up at this area by myself and spotted a car parked almost at GZ. The car pulled away as I got out of my car and I waved to the driver fully expecting them to also be a cacher... When AP and ML arrived, we ventured to GZ and I found the cache, only to discover that there was no logs dated today. I guess it wasn't a cacher.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.

On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird. I’ll leave the more interesting detailed log to Mrs Geo (aka: SeasonedBird, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird or Angry Bird) because she writes so much more eloquently than I and usually has much more time to do so while I’m driving. It’s a great day for caching. ?? TFTC BettyBoo3747

Just driving past and thought I’d make a quick stop to find this interesting location. Thanks for the hide.
Teenager and I went back home overnight to check on our menagerie of animals and today we travelled back to Porepunkah to join the rest of the Fam to continue our time away. The weather wasn't particularly pleasant and the road was busier than yesterday too with a lot more people getting out of Melbourne for the school holidays.
A nice quick park and grab here. The cache and log in good condition. We saw the plaque on the big rock as we drove out back onto the freeway.
Thank you for the cache here BettyBoo3747

I have passed the Creighton Rd turnoff 100s of times, heading to a northerly destination and hate to admit it, but have never noticed the huge rock on the corner. Thanks for making me stop and for the past history of this spot. TFTC

With the long weekend in Vic it meant more caching time so plans were mate with Omegaman1971 to head to North East Victoria, most of our effort was spent in Wangaratta with a trip to Beetchworth, out to Gtreta to do the NKH series and a small trip up to Cowra NSW, We had a great time finding caches, learning history, exploring the area and catching up with mates.
This is one of the caches we found on our travels.

A road trip up to Mulwala with day1976, we cached our way up. Had the kayak on the roof, for some water fun tomorrow.
As I am logging these caches a few months late, it get hard to remember them all!

Ilukaperi and I had decided on a road trip up to Mulwala. There is an empty family home there, which I needed to check on and so we strapped the kayak to the roof and loaded up some snacks and made our way there once she finished work. But on the way we stopped to grab quite a few caches that all help us with different challenges we are working on.
A nice easy find made here. Got sprung by some muggles ina passing car, but I don't think they cared.
