I almost gave up thinking I was terrible at finding Geocaches, but I just managed to find it. Thanks
This is our first ever cache trip and our first find… took us a little while but what a rush when we did!!
I have been meaning to get this one for a while, so I decided to divert my walk today. Didn't take long to find. TFTC
Paid attention to the T and was rewarded with a quick find. Hardly any water below.
We stopped here this morning on the way to ChCh for a maintenance daytrip. The cache is still here and All good. Happy Caching
Thanks for your amazing cache. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches.
Found with Fisha1288

Me and my partner found this awhile ago and went back to find it today. Was still in place and when we found it the pull was magnetic
Spending the winter woofing, tramping and exploring the west coast caching along the way ..of course..
Spending the next wee while based in punakaiki as I landed a bit of work..
In town to resupply so a good chance to grab a few more caches...quick find tftc

This was my first geochache I a really happy I always hang out under ther didn't realize it was there so we had to go caching I woulder rate it 10/10 great spot for some not to hard finds
We were filling in time waiting for the Community Celebration event to start, we did not have a great start to our caching day though with four dnfs, a bit of a dent in our caching ego. So we had ten spare minutes before the event so I suggested we come and see if we can find this one since it had been replaced since our dnf a few years ago. I am very pleased to say gk had this one in his hand within moments of getting to the bridge, now that is more like it!
So this trip has replaced the one blue dnf with four, so it is inevitable that we will have to come back and search again for the others once they are found be others or they are replaced.
Thanks for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley

A lot easier than I thought it would be. Quickly signed log and returned. Tftc
On a trip to the coast and caching along the way. Lovely spot. Found with everdene22
This one took a while to track down but finally spotted it in the best hiding spot. TFTC .
(# 5370). Today is day 6 of my West Coast trip. Today is a lot brighter after all the rain. Today's plan of attack was clear up some caches in Runanga then do some of the Point Elisabeth Walkway from the north. No chance of completing it as time would not allow it. A quick find in the most likely place. Everything in order. TFTC
Container found safe and sound, thanks for maintaining your caches.

Mum checked on the cache for Ariestiger. The cache is still there as it was originally hidden.
The spare piece of paper someone left has been removed. All good to go here.

Found but not in container and a foreign note written on paper. Needs maintenance. Zip lock bag only with the note.
Not in container. Small note with no log book found in zip lock bag magnetised to pole. Not as described an nothing explaining why.
And today we drove to the glaciers. On the way we looked for some caches, and this one we found. This was our last one in Greymouth.

Well the triped to the coast started out great, right untill the Flat Tyre, and the wheel nuts that had been tightrn with a rattle gun, that we could not undo, but one call out new trye and 4 hours and $388 we were on our way again, stll manged to get 50 odd caches for the day, many thanks to all the cache placers - Bitsprayer
22180 Traveling through New Zealand to see nice people and places. Also to find some geocaches.
Today we went from Farnz Jozef Glacier to Greymouth and we had all day, so we made many stops. Allong the road we found many caches, but we also visited Ross, Hokitika and Shanty town. There caches brought us to special remarkable places.
After checkin, Greymouth around the hotel was visited.
Most caches were found quite quickly. Nice bridge here.
Ariestiger TFTC and the fun it brought us. Theo

Last day of caching in this area before continuing our road trip through New Zealand. tftc!
Having already passed G Z once today I pulled over again and crossed the bridge. As the G P S numbers reduced I realised I was going under for the find and soon spotted the likely place. TRemoved the errant green mint-tin and CITO'd it into a nearby wheelie bin. Signed into the proper cache and replaced as found. T F T C Ariestiger
another nice walk as the day and Greymouth slowly came to life. After trying for the cache at the bottom of the hill I promised myself just this one, then back to the car. As it was I went all the way to the top cache as well, would seem a shame to grunt uphill taht far and not find it! Great views all around and a nice walkway for anyone to take.

First up I was awake on pre daylight saving hours and awake at 5.15 and ready to go. Way too early for that sort of stuff so after a pre-pack of my gear, and another Maccas breakfast I grabbed a few in the early morning haze.
Day 3 of the West Coast trip and the day to head back to sunny Marlborough. I'd been tracking the weather forecast all week and today was supposed to be showers for most of the day so the plan was to find as many caches before the weather set in for a spell so I decided that a concerted effort on a few more Greymouth caches was required before heading back home via Pancake Rocks and Westport. I'd travelled that road a few times before, but still had some patches of unfinished business here and there. As it was I got home just about oj dark but with a pleasing haul of another 30-plus caches which made my first 3 days of April as prolific as my first 3 months of 2018!
Will try and log specific experiences where I recall them, otherwise it's thanks to the efforts of all COs for their placements.
Easter weekend 2018 is here and I have a cunning plan. Well, a caching plan, but what's the difference? With mrs and daughter working over the weekend and me with a few days off work there was a chance to convert some of my solved puzzles over on the West Coast into smiley faces. And add to my West Coast caching total. And do the Point Elizabeth walk, and several other appealing strolls. And some other stuff and all the way along gaining extra points for the planetary Challenge thingy to gain some electronic 2D Geo-souvenirs. And so, setting off around 0730 on Easter Sunday with the trusty mountain bike aboard (for the Greymouth beach-side track) I clocked up just under 1000 kms by road, a few extra on 2 wheels and several more on 2 feet, quite the trip. The threatened rain only arrived on the second afternoon in Hokitika (by which time I'd done my walks for the day) and the drive back from Greymouth via Westport was in blazing Autumn sunshine - Beautiful. Fantastic scenery all around and a large number of caches from b&w and gracie7&mum helped the total to just over 180 finds.
An awesome few days which my family wouldn't have enjoyed, but conversely actually would have, for the most part. An FTF in Reefton on the way through on Day 1 was another bonus, and monkey off the back for the monthly streak. A few DNFs which is to be expected with that many looked for, but a lot of good sights and experiences too. Thanks to all the COs for their placements.

Our first find was a green mint tin, no magnet or log..... continued searching and there was the correct one! All quiet here today. TFTC
Nice easy find on a great day out. A cat stopped for a tummy rub on the way back to the car. TFTH
Missing cache replaced Thanks to gracie and Mum.
I apologize to those that couldnt find it.
I apologize to those that couldnt find it.
Saw a little hole that would be perfect for a geo cache but nothing there or anywhere else
We searched - even with a torch - and we still could not find it, must have not looked at the right place on the right angle. We will come back and have another go when we are next in Greymouth. Thanks Ariestiger for the cache
I donned the gummies and took the torch. Holymu made the find though with neither. Thank you Ariestiger
Out and about today finding some long solved puzzles and others we have been bypassing when on the Coast. My feet were already wet so didn't bother changing into gumboots and eventually made the find in a place I'm sure I had looked before.
Thank you Ariestiger.
Thank you Ariestiger.
A good hide and numerous possibilities, luckily I took the correct approach to make the find.

Injeanious and I travelled over to greymouth for Easter weekend. We had fun picking up lots of different caches, and had a few dnfs as well. This was an easy find, tftc!
We arrived at gz and I was prepared to get cobwebby but it turned out to be a nice easy find. Tftc.
It is the morning of the first day of the year : only few people are outside : it is a good time for geocaching without muggles !
I parked the car, I crossed the bridge. The weather was nice (no rain, and sunny) : no problem to get to the ground zero. I searched a little, and I found the little box.
It is my first cache found in 2016 ! ! Happy new year (even if my log comes later...!).

During the trip to New Zealand, I could see and visit many places, lot of them are very nice and sometime amazing. And there is always a geocache nearby! I could find some caches every day. New Zealand is a nice country for vacation and for geocaching !
