Out for our daily exercise and picked up this cache while we were out. However there was no end on the bison and no log book inside so we were unable to sign. TFTC.
This geocacher reported that the container is damaged. There was no end on the bison and no log book inside as also noted by previous finders.
I drove down to costco early this morning to buy an Instant Pot without realising the place doesn't open until 10 am. 0945 saw me standing outside the locked rollerdoors with 15 minutes to spare. So of course I headed off to find a cache. This one I have tried twice before, once during the daytime and once during the night which was a scary experience I won't repeat. This time it was very quiet, I was the only person in the park, but on arriving at Ground Zero I found it half the size. It's undergone a severe prune and is shockingly tiny. Cleaned up a lot though, only 2 cans hiding discreetly. Another DNF for this cache, which is a shame, but I had no trouble locating the huge display stand of Instant Pots once back at costco so the trip wasn't a total loss.
Poor as it need to have a good look after it Found your cache LSJExplore, thank you so much for placing it.
Didn’t find this one today, going off the comments it seems to not be here anymore and lots of beer cans and bottles laying around. - Jake and Ella 30/08/20
This poor cache needs some love. There is no lid and no log, just the base of the container, pointing upwards . I have a photo of this cache which is the best I could do.
Been waiting for the perfect time to find this one since there’s always people in the park.
Log is drenched and there’s no screw too to the container :/

In Melbourne for a few days on an unexpected trip from Qld, and couldn't resist picking up a cache or two. Looked forthisunder grey skies raindrops and an umbrella.
Thanks to the CO for placing & maintaining this cache. 5 muggle teenagers seeking refuge in nearby rotunda so it was try or bye for me. Happy to say I found it, got a wet arm retrieving cache. Unable to get wet log out so taken photos for CO.
Cheers.

Was looking for a cache for the day and was shopping at nearby Eastland. Pretty sure that I had already done this one but no smiley. Found that I have in fact already signed this so am logging the find at last. Sorry about that.
3 Nov 2019: Streak Day #248/366 (1 March 2019 - 29 February 2020). Took me a while to find this, happy to turn sad face into smiley face. Thanks for the cache.
Tricky find but once read comments and saw some photos we found it straight away. Tftc !
In the area at least once a week yet never actually looked for this until today. Arrived a little early for a catch up so took the opportunity to grab this and fill in time. Felt very conspicuous so pleased that it was a quick find. Thanks for the cache.

On my way out to cache with a mate, but on the way I decided to stop and grab this little one. Thankfully with limited muggles around I had it in hand pretty quickly, although log is very wet and may need replacing. Thanks for the cache.

Day 6/7 of Streak Week 2019.
Oh boy, this little blue frowny took up residence in Ringwood some time ago, claimed squatters’ rights, and has stubbornly refused to leave despite numerous eviction notices!
I enlisted the CO’s help at one point, but this little guy proved very elusive. It’s interesting that it was Streak Week that finally pushed me just that bit harder to free up this valuable piece of local real estate.
I sent out a PAF and got the critical connection between this blue imposter and the residents of London’s Albert Square, and soon he got the heave ho back to Old Blighty!!
Thanks for your help along the way lukie1987, and for keeping this one going for the past six years.

Not too many places to hide something here and nearly had me done for. A couple of previous finders gave me the clue I needed to eventually find it. On a cold and wet Ringwood morning luckily I had my heated jacket on which helped with the find. Logbook very damp.
TFTC! Found on a night out caching and looking for clues with mrx2 and diablo1234
A nice quiet day here today at the skate park on a rather wet winters day.
A quick find for the little cache and once found, with signing duties done and dusted, we replaced the cache as found.
Thanks for sharing this interesting place out in the back roads and suburbs of Melbourne.

Between appointments in the area I thought I'd check if there was a cache nearby. And there was! Now the hard part. Finding the thing! Luckily I spotted it relatively quickly as you could spend a while here! All safe and sound
Hey! It IS still there! And you have no idea how happy I am to be able to sign the log and turn this blue frown into a gold smiley. After being severely muggled by two police officers on my original attempt, I have returned whenever my other activities have brought me into this area. Skate park muggles, adult muggles lingering over lunch on the perimeter of the skate park, GPSr suggesting that I should widen the search on another occasion added to my general cache blindness (enough excuses?) meant that this one was beginning to haunt me. A field clear of muggles and an engaged caching brain led to me getting the win this time. YAHOO! Thank you for the challenge and the eventual elation K_Wolf and Lukie1987
Looked around for about 10 minute with gregory13 but couldn’t find it. Might wanna check it.
Looked around where it should but unfortunately dnf will come back another day as its a rainy day
Found after a short search by pnutbeagle and The Marathon Man - pnutbeagle spotted it first

I was in the area to do some shopping, so I decided to find a cache. Because I had DNFed this one previously, I decided to go for this one. At GZ, I was looking around for a few minutes before noticing the hide. All in good condition. TFTC
Due to wonky GPS readings and some time fossicking around I was on the verge of giving up on this one, but then spotted it - in the very first area of my search. D’Oh!
Moral of the story - go with your original hunch.
TFTC. Log is a wee bit damp but quite OK.

I thought I would try this one on the way home from work at 11:30pm Sunday night but I was put off when a group of about eight street kids who had been lurking by the skate ramp came over curious as to why I was standing staring at tree branches. The mood became a bit dark when one asked for a cigaret and I had to admit I didn't smoke. I began to feel intimidated and proceeded rapidly back to my car which they surrounded. Locking the doors as soon as my door was closed I drove straight off. I think I will try this one in the full light of day next time.

This was one of those caches that had eluded me for quite sometime. This afternoon though I had my caching eyes and my geosenses allowing for a quick find.
**Thanks to lukie1987 for placing this cache.**

A quick stop here to resolve a previous issue ended up with a quick find. Once at the gz I had a strong suspicion of what I should be looking for and was not disappointed. The log still has heaps of room but loookkng a little weathered
Had a few hours this morning to myself before the day got started. I had tried to get this cache twice before but had always encountered large groups of teens in close proximity to GZ which made the search too difficult. I was out very early this morning and it was my chance to grab it, which only took a short search. TFTC!
After getting an FTF at a nearby puzzle cache I had lunch at a Ringwood Square cafe. The meal was sooo large that I thought I had better go for a walk and look for a cache. I looked at my GPSr and this cache was a few hundred metres down the road. There were a few teens at the rotunda but luckily they were more interested in chatting to each other and intermittently skateboarding in the Skate Park to worry about an oldie like me. [8)] After a few 360° rotations of GZ I spotted the cache when I looked at it from the right angle. I looked around to make sure no muggles were watching me and then retrieved the cache and signed the log at 1:35 pm. TNLN. I then quickly returned the cache to its hiding spot.
Thanks lukie1987 for the bold hide in in a fairly busy location. I have never been in the nearby business but now I know it's there I may drop by when I'm in need of a bargain. [^]

Took the kids for an excursion to Costco yesterday. They had fun hunting for this one and the 7y/o Geokid soon had this in hand. TFTC
Hired a car today after extending my stay with the ultimate plan to head to LGA’s that I didn’t have cache finds for within a reasonable length drive between caches and the CBD to return to the nights accomodation. A good 6 hours of caching between showers, sunshine, hail and lightning Melbourne sure did live up to expectations today on the weather front!
As for the cache containers a good cross section of sizes today as well as hiding styles and difficulties. TFTH

A quick find if you look at it in the right angle. Lucky I did this first up. Thanks heaps
This was probably my fourth attempt at finding this one over the last 12 months also. Last time it wasn’t found because it was lost but this time it only took me a few minutes to locate it. Finally got a smiley on this one thanks.
The cache is still there and it’s in good order. People need to look harder. And there is no sign anymore and it’s been gone for a while. The cache has nothing to do with the sign.
It doesn’t need archiving the cache is still there people just need to look harder. I will check on it as soon as I can.
Three DNFs today
Doh - last time I was here the sign was here but there were too many muggles. This morning it was quieter, but the sign (and cache?) were gone!
Perhaps the CO could confirm?
Thanks

With some spare time I decided to go looking, unfortunately there were lots of skaters and had to retreat.
So first for the day log is a little damp so got it out drying atm there getting easier now I know how people hide them
I've had a look for this one before, but had to abort due to all the kids at the Skatepark.
The cache is in good order, but the log is slightly moist.
Thanks for the cache.

I was walking by here after dropping my car off for a service. After a quick search I found what I was after.
TFTC. We were in Ringwood with time to kill as the Motorhome and car were getting a tow hitch fitted. Wandered down to GZ and quickly found what we were looking for. I remember visiting an Uncle in Ringwood. It was a long trip from Altona.
This was one of the first caches I tried to find. Over the intervening time I hoped I had become wiser, but starting re-examining all the same places. I retreated to a tree stump where I decided on a different strategy and immediately found the treasure.
The log was slightly damp and turning mouldy in places. Tftc.

Being a previous finder, a friend of the CO, and just across the road from work... When I noticed the NM on this, I thought I'd make the most of the sunshine today, and go for a short walk.
This cache is definitely still there. Pics sent to CO, so he can remove the NM.

After so many DNFs saw the one log and thought it had been replaced. Obviously was not a legit find as this one is certainly missing.
Looked for 20 mins and had the park to ourselves. Couldn't find it so I searched for clues in the activity log and searched again still no luck
Hmm. Should be simple and obvious but a 15mins look gave nothing. Also loads of muggles. May be we were too distracted by them.
If you are going to be muggled, you might as well do it properly! It looked pretty clear until I became engrossed in the search. Honesty is not just the best policy, it is the only policy when the police car arrives to investigate suspicious behaviour! Thankfully they were delighted and intrigued, so I did get to walk away, but I had obviously stretched my luck far enough. Hence another DNF for today, the strike rate is looking pretty grim.
It seems like Costco is only new here, but looking at the date this cache was placed it has been a long while. The gardens are just a sign now signifying - The cost of Costco , indeed !
What else to do but hunt while the wife shops at Eastland
Nice hide. Needed to search for a while but a careful look found it

It was a sunny day and in the end it got quite warm.
We wandered the streets and suburbs out here and found a few caches.

Omg. This is my 4th attempt and finally found it while on my break. A few kids at the skate park who fortunately weren't paying attention to anything outside their own world. Log is a little damp but still able to sign.
I meandered my way up to Ringwood from Geelong for a meeting. Stupid me left only a little extra time for caching. Still, two quick finds here helps rack up your cacher miles I never saw the park before CC, but if this sliver is anything to go by, we're putting progress ahead of lifestyle again. Thanks heaps lukie1987!
Out and about with tinkertraveller and assorted geokids (including CharliBear10) for a quick spot of geocaching. Had visited a fellow geocacher nearby so we thought we'd give this one a go. Circumnavigated the bush a few times before TinkerTraveller made the find. Loads of muggles around but they were distracted looking at the singing and dancing geokids putting on a show. TFTC.
Found with Jeckleberryandtedd and charlibear10 whose toes were frozen on this chilly day. Great hide. Tftc.
Arrived here with my crew of mateys as night fell on the coldest day of the year. Equipped with torches, we homed in on GZ. All we found in 10min was a huntsman that gave my crew the willies!!
The crew struggled in the conditions, so we headed off to a nearby 'Scottish' restaurant (famous for its golden arches) for food and fun.
Headed back to GZ straight afterwards. So while Dynamo and The Purple Minion created a distraction by having a lightsaber torch fight on the lawn, Emeylo and I quickly found the cache.
The crew then wanted to check out the deserted skate park. I thought it looked like a great place to sign the log. Dynamo and Emeylo went down INTO the 'half pipe' to play. But The Purple Minion was too small, so I had to be very vigilant while he was here.
** If you have young kids be really careful of this DANGER! The half pipe is out of sight (being submerged) until you are next to it and is basically a large empty inground pool with a high drop on all sides - and there is NO fencing or barriers to keep young ones safe!! **
Thank you for the cache, K_Wolf and Lukie1987. A nice challenge and it is in great condition.
