We looked high, we looked low, we looked in, we looked out,
but today there was no way we could work this one out!
We consulted with a friend- think this one's met its end!
Thanks for the hunt anyway crig.

Was with roddee for this one. They had previously found it. Looks like it's missing
Tricky! Watching my daughter try to find this one was a lot of fun, thank you.
Today, RoamingHowie and I decided to go and explore part of Sth Gippsland.
Not the best navigation on my part. But we found the way in.
A quick find at gz.
Thanks for your contribution to our gameboard, crig

This was my first weekend in Melbourne for months, owing to some birthday and other engagements. Saturday was free however so I teamed up with OzHockeyChick to go exploring for the day.
We drove up the wrong road to this one but managed to walk in from the dead end and made a quick find at GZ.
Thanks crig for the cache.

The last stop of the day. A quick find here (Seen these before).
Thanks for the cache.

Pretty sure I knew what type of hide this one would be when we pulled up and I was spot on which meant I didn't have to stand out in the rain for very long. Enjoying finding a cache or two while visiting the area while on holidays in Inverloch. Thx crigithis ftc. Looks like a nice spot to pull up for a night as there were a few overnighters already here. Cheers

I was wondering around with my eyes low. Then Grub62 came up with the find as this cache was hidden in plain sight. TFTC.
Find 4 for Bunadoorian and myself today. We were looking for this one when I started thinking my phone's GPs was playing up. Waiting for it to settle I turned and said Found it!! As the saying goes - hidden in plain sight. The only muggles around at this early hour today were a couple with their dog. They soon left once we arrived. TFTC crigithis
On my way home to Melbourne after a nice few days camping down here and realising I will end up in peak hour traffic (if that’s still a thing?!) thought I’d stop for a quick cache on the way. Thanks for the cleverly placed cache.
The weather was looking good and I needed to get out of the house, with restrictions lifted in regional Vic I headed out to explore Kurumburra and Leongatha armed with My mask and Sanitizer, I had a great day exploring the region, this is one of the caches I found today. S short stroll and this one was soom logged.
Thanks crig for the cache.

Oh my goodness!!! I had never actually seen one in real life, only on videos, can cross this one off my bucket list. TFTC
Definitely a Favourite Point from us because of the GREAT camo!! Never seen one like this before. TFTC
Found today with Joolay on a trip to Victoria to attend a funeral.

Being New Years day this area was deserted except for a couple of dog walkers over the other side. Coords were good and cache was spotted straight away. Log signed and all back safe again.

Up early this morning and headed across town to do the Koonwarra Parkrun, picked up a couple of cache on the way there, plus a sneaky Maccas, then completed the Parkrun. Then completed my second breakfast! in the local cafe, and off I went on a little adventure via Inverloch towards Kilcunda and a quick stop off at Coronet Bay. Lots of short walks and drivebyes. Walked around 12km and double figures of cache finds. Some great hides, thanks for the fun.
This was a little tricky as it was the first of this kind I had seen. Great fun and also replaced the log sheet as the old ones were full. Thanks crigithis for a good challenge here
First day out with Nat & Tèa. Glad to have eagle curious eyes with me. Great placement thanks
Found it quickly on our night caching jaunt around the Burra tonight, clever camo, but luckily we were familiar with this type and log was swiftly signed. TFTC
Driving along from Lang Lang to Korumburra and then Nyora for caching day. Very wet but beautiful fresh air. Found it. Thanks crigithis for placing this cache.
If I had not seen this type of thing before I would have been flummoxed. But I have seen a few of these so the log was signed quickly.
We’re staying just outside Korumburra for the long weekend and dad’s been very slack with his caching recently.
Out with son at the skate park and so we made a quick detour to grab this cache. Glad that we’ve found a few with this type of cami previously, as it made for a quick and simple find.
TFTC.

Found on a weekend with family. This cache was a great hide. Having experienced these types of caches in country SA, and Adelaide last week, I was excited to see them again. Tftc
A quick drive by find on the way back from Wilsons Promontory. Having found many of this type over the years it is an instant win. tftc
Find #4592
Since I did the Oxfam Trailwalker event (and numerous training walks prior) with Lost_and_Found_79 we have threatened to arrange a caching day out together. We finally agreed on the Grand Final public holiday and we headed south east to an area where neither of us had found many caches previously. After a find on the other side of the ground we walked across the freshly mown oval towards this one. The rain was starting to come down again so luckily we were able to make it quick. L&F79 spotted it from a distance and we were quickly able to grab and sign. Our twelfth find in a busy day of 35 total finds and a couple of DNFs. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache crig.

Annoying Tarbit and I decided to head to this area today for some caching. It ended up being quite eventful, with a rather diverse range of caches attempted (and mostly found!).
We wandered over to GZ via the footy oval just as it started to rain. Typical! Having already seen one of these cache containers today, I saw it on approach. I do like a cache in plain sight! TFTC

A clever and yet nice easy find. Nicely hidden, fits the surrounding area well and yet was right on top of a camping family approximately 30 feet away - still managed to obtain the cache without being seen -thanks for the cache.

Nice hiding spot, our stealth skills proved successful with muggles camping super close. Thank you for the cache! Found with Chookies.
Today was a full day of work meetings in Korumburra. After that was all done I took advantage of the long summer evening to find a few caches around the place and on my way back to my hotel in Warragul. I wandered over from the cache by the fence. A few people about exercising themselves and / or their dogs. No one near GZ though so this was a quick find in the first place I looked. TFTC, Biggles.
Found by Mary & David at 1449. So beautifully green and quite an oasis of shade trees. A FP for the interesting cache notes. We do enjoy learning something new as we cache. Nobody else about. Our thanks to crig.
On a 6 day tour of Victoria with Barnzy12. Taking the red eye over from Perth we managed to visit some great places. The main reason for the travel was the Mega event in Alexandra and the opportunity to find 12 cache types in a day.
We originally travelled to Phillip bay, then up through the country side to Alexandra. Spent a few nights staying high in the snowfields and then moved over to Mt Disappointment. We then ended up back where we started returning the hire car at the airport to fly home.
Some quality caches were found all over the state, great to get a real range of cache sizes with some very large caches compared to what’s available in WA and the range of D/T options so close to each other was a bonus.
Thanks to all the Cache owners for you placements and creativity put into hiding and have awarded a few fav points based on this or the location it bought us too.

In Melbourne with Cravo10 to attend the Mega in Alexandra.
We took the red eye from Perth, leaving at 1am Thursday morning, and departed Melbourne early Tuesday morning, so it was a short five day trip.
We managed to snag a couple of nice stats for the trip. First mega event, 12 cache types in a day, 10 lab caches, 50th large cache find, and most importantly my 10,000th find at Mount Disappointment.
We spent the first day on a caching run from
Melbourne to Phillip Island where we had booked into the local caravan park for the evening. We cached all day chasing down a number of the whereigo and puzzle caches from the CF series, before ending the day caching the extremities of Phillip Island, where we had both never been, an amazing part of this country.
Next morning we cached our way to Alexandra which was the main reason for our trip to Melbourne as we had both never managed to attend a mega, which were hoping to rectify in WA next year! Attended the pre event and managed to get a couple of group FTFs by torchlight which was a real highlight.
Saturday we cached in and around Alexandra all day, chasing numbers, the highlight of the day would have to be the birdbox hides around Alexandra and the multi in Bonnie Doon from that famous TV show, a real nice touch!
Sunday was an epic caching day, chasing down 12 types in a day, which required a couple of huge drives to claim some of the rarer icons around. A huge caching stat which is a very rare feat in the Southern Hemisphere. We finished the day travelling to Mount disappointment where we found Melbourne's 1st cache and then started making a dent in the powertrail, finishing by torchlight.
Our last full days caching was spent at Mount Disappointment to chase some big numbers and with a few caches around the burbs for good measure.
Special thanks to all the wonderful COs around Melbourne for their brilliant caches, and to the mega committee for organising a ripper event, hope to be back next year!

Sat here enjoying our coffee and cake from the bakery down the street, pondering where the cache could be, then suddenly the penny dropped and there it was staring straight back at us. There's something pretty cool about these types of caches. SL TFTC
Today we explored Korumburra and surrounds using Geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. An easy find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

A check after recent log. The cache is still in place and the fake log has been removed.
Out with the Swaggies at 17 February 2017 6:06 PM. Find 1450 in a most likely spot.
Out caching with Yorsys today collecting a few caches around here.
I did not have this one in my GPS and Yorsys alerted me to new cache appearing on his lists. As we were driving past we stopped off for a quick find before heading back to the big smoke.
Thanks for the afternoons entertainment crigithis and crig. We have enjoyed it.

Finally a chance to replace this cache. Muggle central the last few times. Right to go now.
Found the log laying on the ground. Will send co message now to show where I have temporarily placed t until they can get there to fix it up and replace container.
I sort of guess where this one would be and wasn't wrong as we arrived at GZ. Found the container for this one gone, but the log still in place.
Thanks crig for another placement here.

Happily hiking around Korumburra today with 4 kids aged 3 and under on two heavily loaded prams and it was looking like we'd be getting a good workout on the local hills. We walked along the main road towards this one and then had to do a bit of battle through long grass to get to this point. The kids were having a ball while we scoured all likely spots before spotting the clever camo. Luckily Mummy Short Legs used to own a similar cache so we knew what we were looking at when we saw it. One of the magnets had come free but still in place. Thanks for the great cache crig.
My usual Friday plans of Mum's Group were thrown aside as Kato Potato suggested we pack up the kids and explore unknown geocache territory. We headed to what is a very familiar town for me having spent most of my childhood stopping here to snack on Kelly's Bakery goodies on our way to the family beachhouse in Venus Bay. We decided to make a big walk of the caches in Korumburra by parking the cars, packing the kids in/on prams and nabbing all caches within walking distance. This was a great idea except for the hills. Boy, did we get a workout!
The hills weren't such a traumatic experience here as we were beginning to descend; the muddy long grass however was another story. We trundled through it and finally got to gz where Kato discouraged one child from reaching into spider-hidey holes, then she stuck her hand somewhere icky, before spotting the familar camo. TFTC crig.

We were finally able to grab this one today with no one around. A vast difference to when the monster trucks were on. Grabbed this quickly when on our way home from visiting our Great Nannys house. Found with GeoRo11 and GeoJulz
Tricky hide out of my reach but gained with a tool. Doing some cache maintenance on my way home from working at the Foster Show. Had to find a cache too. I think it's the only time I've passed and it hasn't been busy. Thanks for a clever hide
Suscoe was out and about today heading to Leongatha and Korumburra for a bit of caching.
It was an overcast day which kept the temperature quite pleasant.
We saw some beaut country around here.
Our 31st find of the day.
All quiet at GZ, made for a quick find.
Thanks to crig for this cache, we are seeing a lot of the town today.

We are staying with relatives in Warragul, and our cache run today was started at a random cache on the map. We then navigated to the one the GPS said was next closest etc.
We ended up logging 22 and DNF'd 1.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: A Smiley Badge if the cache was large enough.
Thanks for the hunt,
Regards
Ian & Penny.[font=Verdana]
