Logs
Quick find. I do suspect there are 2 caches at this location. Found with Mogni and JJ52. All logs stamped as JAMS. It was a day when the JAMS crew got together again or at least three out of the five of us. Plan A was to do the Abandoned railway trail on e-bikes but Allister is out with injury so, Plan B was a day the three of us ( the remianing one is STILL on holiday, that is a dam long holiday ) and host a CITO in propect ( i need a CITO in that LGA ) on sunday and find caches " in that general area ), Mogni decided we needed to attend a event on the yorke's on saturday. So Plan C was born. Off to the Yorke's it was, the first cache found was in Kulpara and then working down to Port Victoria then over to the Welcome to the Yorke Valley Dam event and some tasty food provided and then some more caching to our overnight accommodation in Adrossan. Sunday saw us caching along the coast on the way home, somehow taking a detour through Mallala before getting to prospect to host Cane Reserve Clean up CITO, I even got a cacher from England at the CITO. 80 finds plus labs for the weekend away, it wasn't about the numbers, it was about a relaxing time away. Any caches that were found broken/cracked/etc were replaced and any full log books were replaced.
Day 4 Moonta to Minlaton. The seahorse caches front and centre. I thought I would go via Arthurton and pick up 2 multis and some roadside trads. This was easily reached..Thanks
After a walk around Maitland, a quick trip to the op shop, finishing our cup of tea. We headed out for some more caches.Log is full so we have replaced it.
TFTC Clumsy Princess your cache Dryad that we found today. We are parked up in the local Showgrounds/Caravan Park for a few nights. After setting up and a bite to eat we ventured out to attempt the caches in town and nearby. The Seahorse will wait until tomorrow. A good few hours doing the things we love - exploring and caching.Find Count: 17826
Early start to do more of the Gone Fishn series, start the newly Sea Horse series as well as some caches around Maitland and Arthurton. All caches in good condition, unless indicated in log. TFTC
Nice find.

Here we are, the 3 Stooges (weredunn4, WayneAPN and myself) hit the beautiful Yorkes Peninsula again.
This time we are targeting the Sea Horse series of caches and is often the case with us, no doubt there will be a few other bonus caches along the way.
A typical day out for us now, going hard for caches but truckloads of trash-talk, banter and laughs
All caches located & stamped, and most importantly, maintenance performed where needed.

A day trip north to collect some smilies. Some caching therapy after a solid month of designing puzzles and placing caches. I can’t pass the opportunity of good weather and a mid week public holiday. Respect to the fallen.
Caches were in good condition unless stated otherwise. I signed the log myself with my stamp or with pen and returned as found. Maintenance was performed if required to make sure caches were in good condition for the next finder. Thanks for the fun.

Had me looking for ages before I spotted the little bugger. Squished my name on the log. Thanks
Out early on a chilly winters morning with iluvtrekking but at least it isn’t raining. Thanks for the hide.
Found on my York Peninsula caching Odyssey. I enjoyed the scenery and the caches. Thanks Clumsy Princess.
On a mission today to reach 500 finds and to get my GeoGirlfriend to 100.
Found after a few minutes of walking around.
Log book a little wet and falling apart.
Signed and returned.

Out for a mid Yorke day with Jack and Purrfect Di,
all stamped as team Mattycat
My old girlfriend thought she was a Dryad.
Then she became vegan.
This practically makes her a cannibal
Soon found this nymph hanging around.
thanks for the hide and the smiley Clumsy Princess
- - cache at a social distance if you can - -
Dodge any bugs (except travel bugs of course)
- avoid people completely if you can [:o)]
- get out and cache in the regions !

Today, the weather was forecast to be dismal with thunderstorms and a rain drenching! Consequently, gridge98 and I retreated to the more dry vicinity of Upper Yorke Peninsula. Other than a few drizzles, we had good weather. We visited Paskeville, Kadina, Moonta, Balgowan, Point Pearce, Maitland, and Arthurton, with highlights of the mining relics, 4WD-ing along the west coast beach, and finally dinner and heading around Maitland. A long day out and about, arriving home just after midnight.
Another geocache where it didn't take long to find. The cache container was in good shape, but this logbook again is very full and needs to be replaced. Thanks Clumsy Princess for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Log book full and very ratty here
Today With the weather more promising on the yorke peninsula than in Adelaide, Davidwazza and I decided to head over and clean out as much as we could as well as doing quite a bit of beach 4wdriving.
In total 87 finds within 1 DNF for the day.
Thanks for the Cache

First for the day and it's always good to start with a find .
Certainly not spotted in the first place we looked , but Mrs DISK was the ball and the one to make the find [8].

Day 197 (Friday 13th) of our trip. Caching along the way. Leaving Pt Wakefield today. A total of 6 for the day and 4000 for the trip. TFTC
Love this type of cache and love these trees. They always look so pretty when well kept or decorated. Such an old species and amongst a flock of flies... Log book is pretty full and could do with replacement as it has been wet in recent times. TYFTC SLTNLN
We searched for a long time but there was nothing here.. Feel it is missing. Even had another cacher who had found it previously but still could not locate it.
After having spent some days camping in Maitland, we decided it was time to move on and continue our caching adventures with ilook4geo. Most of the day was travelling the back roads rather than the highways. All the caches we looked for along the way were successfully found. Each log was noted with two more names and each cache was replaced as found. Thank you to Clumsy Princess for placing this cache.
There were a couple of different parts to our caching day with goingplaces2. Some traditionals out of town and some of the Gone Fishn' series. Thanks go to each CO for adding to the caching game.
Found this with CherryRose. Needs new log. Unfortunately didn’t have one with us. TFTC TNLNSL
After doing the first 150 of the fishing line, came back to the showgrounds had lunch and thought we could do a few around town. All done for the day now for a Beer and shower. TFTC Clumsy Princess
Found with woolwood9 on a side trip from the fishing series.

We left Esperance 3 days ago for the Yorke Peninsular after 4 months spent mainly enjoying the warm weather up north. It’s been a bit of a let down since we reached Perth and the weather cooled right down. The sun is thinking about coming out today, and we’re cheering it on. Tomorrow we aim to start on our adventure trying to pick up as many caches as we can before heading back home to Victoria in the last week of September.
We have just set up camp at the back of the Showgrounds in Maitland and intend to base ourselves here for a few days as we start on the power trails in the area:
We’re currently dashing out of the car between squalls of rain to find geocaches. This one took a bit longer than we wanted as it meant getting wet! Eventually found and log signed.

Cache not happy. Needs some TLC. Photo to CO for proof of find. Contnr full of water.
A Rat and a snake went caching on the Yorkes.
We stopped and searched, no luck.
Read some logs and another search.
The snake slithered off in one direction and the Rat scurried to the cache. TFTC

Another day on the Yorke with the Rat seeking more smilies in this part of our state. The weather was a tad cool and a sprinkle of H2O failed to dampen our spirits.
A search around GZ with nothing and we thought we would be adding to the list of DNF's. Checking earlier logs and widening the search area the Rat made the find. Isn't it a great feeling when you find a cache after a few DNF logs? Perseverance pays. The log book is quite wet and can do with a new one. TFTC

The Gone Fishn' series has been on the radar for quite some time but who wants to take it on solo. [xx(] Not this little black duck. So when I got an invite from mogni to start the trail on the 18th April I jumped at the chance. We were joined by SA Sewer Rats that day and we made it to the trail at 9.00 a.m. and cached till 5.30 p.m and got from #037 and conveniently finished at #245
We discovered quite a few things. It can be a bit boring. You need to leave the trail every now and then or go bonkers. [B)][B)] Stamping two names and writing one other takes a long time.
Only three days later and mogni and I are back again, this time with BratKat replacing SA Sewer rats and simply using the group name GOTHS to stamp the log books. Boy did that save some time.
This time we also left the trail for a big break in Maitland for a pub lunch and some other caching.[8)]
Unless otherwise stated it was a case of:
Stop- find cache - sign - move on. Repeat. [:o)]
Time to head into Maitland for a well earned Pub Meal. But first of course we had to stop for a few on the way in and then again on the way out and back to the trial. Took a little while but we found it just hanging around. The logbook is full so we just stamped a random blank spot in the book! [^]

Mogni was chasing a milestone, so three of the GOTHs headed down Yorkes to 'Go Fishin'. We took a lunch break in Maitland . TFTC.
Found by Mary & David at 1020. Luckily, after the rain, there isn't any mud. A most appropriate name for a shy little person. Our thanks to Clumsy Princess.
Good hide. Contents wet but log only slightly damp and no problems signing. Thanks for something different and not using an eclipse tin
Today we explored Maitland using Geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. An easy find at GZ.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

On the final day of caching Yorke Peninsula with J+J. We had to stop earlier last night than expected due to the dreadded rain started to fall. Unknown to us in the morning was just how much rain fell! One local farmer later told us there was 15mm of rain overnight.
The extra water made our caching trip wet, and very muddy. The final highlight was having to be towed out off a muddy road by an 8 wheeled tractor!
Thanks for the all the caches.

Caching with Noodles22 on a very boggy road, were slipping and sliding adding to the fun. Thanks to all the CO for placing these here for our enjoyment.
Aussie Mary and I decided we needed a few days away grabbing a few caches, focussing on Multies and Earthcaches with the odd traditional and puzzle thrown in for good measure. Obviously this met the requirements so off we went on a cache hunt.
I don't think we were all that dry while grabbing this one.
Thanks for the adventure from mogni

Decided today we would grab the caches around Maitland. This was a quick find on a very cold windy day. [^] Log book was very wet with water in the cache, maybe the cache needs repositioning. [?] We were just able to make our mark in the log. [^]
Thanks for the cache Clumsy Princess.

DRYad is probably not quite appropriate for this cache, for some reason it was very wet, really hard to explain given its location and set up. Unfortunately we had nothing with which to replace it. TFTC
While up putting flowers on my dad grave for Father's Day. Finally found it, second time. Found with superman_22
This one had us looking, three geocacher looking, looking and looking. Finally the cache was found away from where we had GZ. I will include our GZ, perhaps it will hep someone who is having trouble.
First we must appologise for the generic logs.
We came to Yorke Peninsular with Speedmistress who hails from Queensland to cache our little hearts out and this we are doing.
We solved loads of puzzles prior to coming and with all the earth, multi, trads and puzzles there are here we were never lacking in variety.
When we found caches that needed repair we have done our best to do what was possible, unfortunately we have now rum out of spare containers, so no more repairs can be done. We have enjoyed the scenery, the walks, the animal life and the challenges that was encountered while traveling the Peninsular. Not all the caches have been attempted due to time restraints but those have been earmarked for future visits.
We also would like to thank Speedmistress for supplying our geocaching chariot.
A huge thanks to all the cache owners for placing these caches for us to enjoy.

On this occassion, I am doing a generic log. I have travelled from Queensland to meet up with Muff1 for a Geocaching extravaganza on the beautiful Yorke Peninsular.
Our goal to Cache, Cache and Cache. Each day our "finds" have been growing in number, some days more productive then others. Repairs and replacement of broken containers, new log books and adding a new plastic bag here and there have all been part of the fun we have been having.
We have also been careful to take time to appreciate the natural wonder of the areas we have visited. The variety of caches was interesting, some very clever, some the quick grab they were designed to be.
My sincere thanks to Muff1 for providing me with the opportunity to join them on this geocaching holiday.
A big thank you to all of the dedicated Cache placers who have made this possible.

Found with Zobo04, Borisb&Natasha and Bounty Trackers. Heading on our way to The York Peninsula for Easter and to catch up with the rest of our group. Sorry for the late logs life sometimes has an uncanny way of getting in the way. I was busy trying to get in front of KTCvic whom we are meeting up with. So lets get as many caches as we can along the way so for 5 minutes I will have more finds. Nothing like a little friendly competition. Thanks for making our trip fun and TFTC
Found with Gonefishen07, BorisB&Natasha and Bounty Trackers on our way to an Easter weekend on the York Peninsula. We had a great time thanks to all CO's for the fun times. Sorry for the late logs. TFTC
Geo Nerds Yorke Peninsula caching exposition consist of Borisb&Natasha, Zobo04,De Ja Vu, KTCvic, Gonefishen07, Velocachu & Bounty Trackers.
Gonefishen07, Zobo04, Borisb&Natasha and myself Bounty Trackers left on Wednesday morning with one objective, to get Gonefishen07 cache finding count higher than KTCvic who was about 100 cache in front. We spent 2 days straight chasing caches all the way from Gippsland in Victoria to The York Peninsula in SA, where we finally got 8 caches ahead of KTCvic. The smile on Gonefishen face said it all ( I think the comment was made CATCH ME NOW Trenty ).
Along our journey we made a side trip to Gawler to get the multi Fort Knox cache which was on our hit list. What a brilliant cache. Well worth the detour. It will be getting a favorite point from me.
On Friday Velocachu, KTCvic & De Ja Vu graced up with there presents and it was time to start the Yorke Peninsula Geo Art Starting at Hook then Jellyfish, Fish, Anchor, some of Fish Tales,Sammy Starfish and most of the Boat, we then did Sally starfish, and the rest of Fish Tales and then finished with the leftover boat.
Milestone achieved
Velocachu 500
Zobo04 2000
Borisb&Natasha 2000
De Ja Vu 3000
KTCvic 4000
Gonefishen07 4000
Bounty Trackers 4000

I have never cached outside of Victoria, nor in a group and I was really looking forward to it.
Every single one of us achieved a very memorable milestone made even more special because they were achieved with very special friends.
Thank you so much to the many COs for the time and effort in placing their caches. I'm sure it enables many groups like ours to get together, have lots and lots of fun and form life long friendships, all in the quest for little pieces of treasure.

Hi there Clumsy Princess.
We found your cache **"Dryad"** at 1:19:00 PM today.
This was our 13th find for the day and this makes our find count 13043.
Penny wanted to go to Ardrossan so that's (sort of) the direction we headed. We thought that it would be a good idea to find as many caches hidden off the main roads as possible on our circuitous route.
At the end of the run our final total was 21 finds and 1 DNF's.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 7m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** Container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Camped at Maitland showgrounds, and ventured to pick up a few caches in the area.
A pleasant drive in the country and we enjoyed the scenery.
We picked up a good variety of caches, some a little trickier to find than others.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Clumsy Princess, for us and others to find.
