Back out in the area today to grab the last ones in the series. Headed out to this one before starting the walk back. No issues here and the cache was a quick find and the log was soon signed. Thanks for another UltimateGeoCacheTeam
Found by caughtatwork on 01/11/2024 at 10:12:00 AMA easy find after a bit of a stroll from the carpark. Track was in good order.Took nothing, left nothing. Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today, for without those who like to hide geocaches, there would be nothing around for those who like to find geocaches.*Overall Experience: 3*GAFF1

Found in good condition with catnap777. [^]21 September 2024 2:55pm.Nice view of Mt Blackwood from here. Day one was mostly spent rounding up caches in the "Rocky" series. [B)] This was day two of our assault on Lerderderg which had us making our way as far along Square Bottle Track as "Whiskey Creek Circuit...Worth Bottlin'" before heading back to the car and relocating further south for a bit of a go at Ah Kow Track on the other side of Mt Blackwood. It was a ripper day that started back in Hepburn Springs (where we had spent the night) looking over a couple of Earth Caches there, before making our way to Lerderderg for another walk in the park.
21 September 2024 14:52Just because we didn't think we had done enough hiking this weekend, dalerious and I decided to drive to this end of the park, hop out the car and go for another hike through the hills. This is after claiming 4 Rocky caches and undertaking 5 >10km walks, so far. After enjoying a leisurely stroll finding and signing this series, we noticed another traditional a kilometer further down the track; ah, what the hell, you only live once right.Boy, what a journey that was........but that's another story which I will tell later. Was so lovely to see the themed containers still in existence for this lot. It made for a fun trek. You have a wonderful sense of humour mudbrick. We especially loved Storm in a C Cup!All caches were found in good condition. Thank you UGCT for looking after these gems. Please note I will use this same log for all along Ah Kow trail, except "gesundheite".
Great 5.5 hrs trekking round Lerderberg Gorge today. My route was across the Ah Kow track across to the Bear Head Range track and up to the Fox Gully track.Just on 5.5hrs covered and some heavy elevation changes too.Managed to pick up 12 smileys including some love on a few too!Second stop for the day.On a roill so far, this was a quick find.I signed and moved on.TFTC
A great imaginative series along the trail, enjoying the view and the laughs with deanside.
Thanks UltimateGeoCacheTeam for placing this cache and contributing to this great game. What a lovely part of the world to wander with Connieandrick. Happy trails, Deanside

*Cache find # 14706.*
The day started off very wet when I left home but by the time we had set off on our stroll it had pretty much cleared up and most of the day was perfect for a great hike in the hills.
Another quick find here as we continued on our loop around Lerderderg.
**Thanks to UltimateGeoCacheTeam for placing this cache.**

Found under its former self tree no longer alive like others I was hoping for something saucy, all up with the age of these caches it was good to see them all in fairly great condition. And did I mention the walk - it's f in awesome.
An easy find while being distracted looking at birds. Somehow this cache is making me think I'm hungry. TFTC
GPS was a little off this one but it is also really foggy, once I used my eyes and not my gps it was easy. Leg in great condition. Thankyou
Having a day out in the Lederderg Forest and collecting a few caches while i enjoy this area It’s very pleasant walking in the forest today. Thoroughly enjoying the experience TFTC mudbrick
Oh what? No sauce bottle? Haha, I was expecting something themed here but no such luck. Walking to this cache we noticed a sign on private property. I’ll put a photo up. The photo doesn’t do the steepness of the hill any justice but I’ll bet anything there are some stories that go with it! TFTC
A day out with the geowhippet in the bush. Poking along the track. A bit of a disaster later when I rolled my car over a log. Needed to have a farmer help me lever it off! Well worth it for the amazing caches today! TFTC
TFTC, Ahhhhhh, you saucy thing you.... we found you, nice and quick. Then onto our next cache for the day.
Tftc - great day out in a beautiful area. I love how these takes you places you would never see...
This started out as a hike. Then I decided that since I prefer trail running, maybe I'd wear my running gear so as to speed things up. Then while deciding where to go/what caches to chase, I decided to include a walk along Lerderderg Gorge where there is no path. So was it a hike? Was it a trail run? I'm going to call it an adventure run. There was running, there was hiking, there was wading along and across the river, there was scrambling down and climbing up. And there was geocaches
17km, 670m of elevation gain, 5hrs and 13 caches later, I returned to my car. What a day!
Thanks

After attending two events at Pikes Res today i had plans to kayak there afterwards to find some of the mystery caches hidden around there. But with the weather turning nasty i had this small series of caches recommended to me to find instead.
I found the first three or four in order before deciding to head straight to the last one in case the rain set in then work my way back to the car. It was at the last cache i met up with Alansee and we then teamed up and headed back together.
A great series of caches, loved the novelty cache companions and the play on words in the titles. Thx mudbrick for placing and to the UltimateGeoTeam for maintaining. Cheers!

Found these caches on a cold but not too bad day. Each one was a clever play on words apart from one which appears to have been replaced. Met Perpetuallylost when just heading back and enjoyed his company. Many thanks to mudbrick and the UltimateGeocacheTeam for placing and maintaining the caches.
Found a bit of spare time today so I thought I would use it productively and find a few caches.
A couple of different walking tracks to take but I was after the one that had a few cache’s on it.
Parked the Geocruiser, picked the right track and off I went in search of a few more.
The well formed track that looks like it’s been graded recently is a great up and drown track to get the heart beating for some much needed excersise.
Thanks mudbrick & UltimateGeoCache Team TFTC.

Sorry for the ridiculously late log (almost 3 years), but it seems to have been an oversight.
Classic Mudbrick cache, love it. I got started early on this day and had to keep moooving along as I was to get home, have a nap and prepare for nightshift. The prickly little cache guardian wandered by without showing any concern at all. How fabulous is it that we can go out for a walk and see such wonderful wildlife.
As the CO knows, I love the saucy humour of the original CO. Thanks for keeping this one going.

Today the whole Sistema crew hit the Ah Know track. The walk didn't look too bad and I knew they would be caches that would make us chuckle. And they didn't disappoint. We had lots of fun. Enjoyed the walk and loved the wildflowers. No one but us on this track today. Many many thanks for the cache in a unique hidden location.

After some caching along the Razorback track earlier in the morning I made my way south to look for the only unfound caches I still have in the Lerderderg SP - 5 caches along the Ah Kow track!
I dont care much for just the tomato, but now pizza? Mmmm pizza... Or even a Bunnings snag! Why am I hungry now?!

We had a great afternoon last weekend venturing along the Ah Kow track with 2 adults, 9 kids and 3 dogs. The kids had so much fun navigating and scampering around the bush racing to find each cache. The dogs were enjoying the freedom. Anticipation was building as we journeyed along excited to see what the next suprise would be!! Unfortunately we had to cut the trip short as tummies were rumbling and the sun was dissappearing.
Thanks for a great series!! Hopefully we'll be back to finish it soon

Another fun little find on this entertaining series, that was well worth the walk in the sticky heat. Has us thinking we need to do more family-friendly caching! All good at GZ. Log signed and replaced with a bit more cover. Nice little group of parrots were seen at this GZ. Tally ho and on to the next. Cheers!
Still in the early stages of a Lerderderg trak with Team Justice and some friends... such an enjoyable way to start the walk with the nice, easy and entertaining caches. TFTC!

I have been meaning to to a few more of this series but I am always hesitant to venture into the gorge on my own. Today I had Tess the geodog for company and it was a perfect day for getting a few of these turned into smilies. Love your work and your humour muddy.

Today was my monthly caching run with Biggles Bear, and the area today was around Mt Blackwood. The bulk of the caches were along a couple of great walks, with a few extras around Bacchus Marsh at the end. Nice easy find as it was lying out in the open, but very close to the obvious hiding spot. We rehid it properly.
My thanks to mudbrick for the cache.

We were quite enjoying our walk and having a great chat as we found each one. We guessed correctly on this container. Another laugh and another quick find.
We had the morning to cache after Granny offered to look after the little Na'wals. We decided to look at a walk in the Lerderderg State Park and wanted to get out early before the very hot day that was forecast. 42deg plus strong winds but we had done our homework and were happy to make the trip in. Alchey joined my geo wife and myself for the trip. We were very glad the walk was over once back at the car, a great morning it was before the very hot winds and sun. Stamped and replaced as found.

On the caching trip today this was the last cache that Ostara74, LouiseAnn and I went for in this forest. The thought of a bigger climb up to the car again didn't tempt us, so after we found this one we headed back up and retraced our steps on the way to the gate.
The cache was a nice little thing and still in one piece albeit a little faded. Log was ok too.
My cache no.9 of the day.
Thanks for the cache, hope I'll be able to come back at a later time to continue on this trail. Greetings from Norway.

Found together with LouiseAnn and ellesaich on a sunny day.
This is the third year that LouiseAnn and I are out here in the area to look for caches while our partners are enjoying a gig nearby. This year we also got company of ellesaich who recently came Down Under for a visit.
I found a total of 23 new caches during our caching trip today and among them were my find number 1000 . Many of the caches we found were very well done and they were all in good shape.
Many thanks to all the owners of the caches we found today and your effort to bring us geocacher to some lovely spots. And Happy New Year!

We picked this cache up at 2:29pm. I was starting to get a bit tired and sore by this cache, so we decided to make it our last one. I enjoyed this one too, it's a shame my hip wouldn't let us complete the trail, but glad we could do the ones we did.
Heading out with Ostara74 and ellesaich for a day of news years cache hunting around Greendale, Blackwood and on up to Trentham. It was warm but not too warm and a great swag of caches was found. We had a great time and 4 lunches before heading back to Greendale to pick up the drunken boys from their gig. Thanks for the cache mudbrick.

Christmas duties all fulfilled, on a reasonably cool day for December , we fled the city and the long lines of traffic outside the shopping malls to do a bit of much needed exercise and bag a few caches as our reward. This series provided imaginative and humorous caches and, all bar one, were in good condition. We saw plenty of butterflies and birds and a few kangaroos kept pace before vanishing into the scrub.
This one was uncovered and its saucy prize a few yards down the hill. All intact and dry, though, and the log easily signed. All put back together and in place.
Thanks and cheers!

Since just a few days in Australia, we decided to do this bush walk. What a lovely tour. We appreciated the varied cache hide, discovered kangaroos and cockatoos and enjoyed the wonderful views. Thank you for the gorgeous tour and greetings from Switzerland.
Once again I was informed by the cache notes and these will be used for reference whenever needed in the future. You amaze me with your general knowledge. Would have loved a pie, on this misty day, to go with Ah's saucy thing.
