Stopped by this one and found it too. Again, I have removed the container as it has been archived. The CO can contact me if they wish the cache returned to them.

Time and tide wait for no man, Im past servicing these caches anymore so they must go.
Was intrigued with the 13 favourite points. I think it may be missing something from its hey day. Quick find was made.
On a road trip around the Mid North and Eyre Peninsula, geocaching as I go. Predominantly targeting old caches, solved mysteries and grabbing some interesting looking traditionals.
Quick find. No game pieces left so I couldn’t challenge myself to a game.

Away for a week on some R 'n' R from the shop and to recover from an exhausting 10th Birthday celebration for Geostuff. We headed out early to beat the heat and targeted High FP caches and any others in between. A quick find here, Log is getting full and will need replacing soon. TFTC
Out on the mountain bike and called in for a quick look. Thanks for the history information, very interesting THTC
Found with hevwalker on a much cooler day..... we had planned to do the Conservation Park caches today due to the high temps and Fire Ban yesterday. We drove as close as we could and walked in keeping a close eye out for the snakes we know are definitely here after a baby past by us back a couple of nights ago. A quick find no snakes seen. Loved this cache idea and game. Fav point from me. TFTC
scramping & I were holidaying for a few days in Whyalla...we did lots of caching around the area... It was a much cooler day today so it was time to check out the Whyalla Conservation Park...
We found the pull out and walked in being mindful of any critters that may be lurking...
Interesting reading the history about Sandalwood here...
We found the game and the cache...
Thanks for placing the cache here for our enjoyment Tempo 0

This weekend, I headed to Whyalla to catch up with a few other Geocachers and attempt some of the trails there. On Saturday, we targeted the FTF power trail from Whyalla to Iron Knob, and then spent the evening and the subsequent morning driving some of Whyalla's back tracks. On Sunday, I visited Cowleds Landing and back north, only to get severely bogged in one of Whyalla's clay pans. I then returned home via the August series.
Today, we started the day at a meet/greet breakfast event, and then I headed out with hevwalker and scramping for a few more geocaches south-west of Whyalla along the back tracks and main road, followed by the December trail series. I then continued south visiting Cowleds Landing and the proclaimed nudist beach. I next found *Potty Time*, only to realise that I had driven on the nearby clay pans, and then sank into the soft clay below on my way out. Eventually I had help in getting out, and finished my remaining time in Whyalla completing the pipeline August series, and calling into Whyalla Conservation Park for a few high favourite caches. I then made the long journey back to Adelaide stopping at a few miscellaneous geocaches along the way.
After making the short walk away from any possible muggles going past (I suspect), I arrived at GZ and made the quick find. It was nicely themed, and something I hadn't seen before. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Just a shame to the use of pill bottles - they tend to be rather annoying at extracting logbooks. Thanks Tempo 0 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Day 301 (Thursday 25th) of our trip. Caching along the way. In Whyalla today. A total of 7 for the day and 5783 for the trip. TFTC
Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
Today we targeted the Whyalla Conservation Park, starting off with a few premium caches to drop off some travel bugs, then whatever came after that. I just had some treatment on my arthritic knees, so today was going to be a challenge - good or bad. We ended up with a total of 12 out of 14 today.
Found and replaced container which was cracking up in the sun. Nearly walked the wrong way back. Forgot to waypoint the car!!!

A most cool cache and idea... love it!
The cache container, however was very brittle and minus it's lid so i provided a form of cover for the lidless container enough to keep rain and moisture out but this one will need attention very soon [:o]
Unforunately i never had another container on me nor a partner to play Naughts and Crosses but i can imagine the Geo-Kids would LOVE this one.

So much evidence of an industry, but until we read the cache description we had no idea - the whole forest was ripped up for church needs?
We were intrigued with the pebbles, but left them alone.

Before we left Whyalla tomorrow we wanted to visit this area but w are travelling with two pooches so it proved difficult. Geo-hubby dropped me back at the caravan with the schnauzers mid afternoon and headed off to the park himself to grab some finds. This was one of them. Thanks Tempo 0
Today's focus was to clean out Whyalla Conservation Park - I had a successful day finding all but one cache in the park. The variety of caches and vegetation, some enjoyable walks and great weather for mid winter made it a very enjoyable day.
I found the board before I found the cache, nice touch.

#1037 Thirty second of forty finds on Day 4 of my Christmas and New Year's geocaching road trip to SA. Easy find after a short search. Nice way to celebrate Boxing Day on a overcast and stormy day in and around Whyalla.
After setting up camp the night before with 3LG today we are hoping to locate as many caches in the area as possible before meeting up with The X-Trailers.We headed out towards The furtherest and worked our way back.
A great day weather wise although the temp is starting to rise.

After a good lunch we set off to grab these ones which we drive past everytime we visit Whyalla, it was very nice to be in here and the weather wasnt to hot or to cold, it was just right for doing some cacheing and walking. TFTC

We even managed 2 FTFs on our trip up
Interesting history and it's a shame that the sandalwood is gone

Another nicely found SMALL container, thanks for showing the area to us - TFTC / TFTH / SL
Another stunner! You put our own miserable hides to shame Tempo 0. We thought about the hard work of yesteryear put into the land & the hard work more recently put into placing this cache. Well done!

Day three of the Nullarbor experience was here. This morning, I left the convoy of Alansee, Maccamob and Mica Paramedic and headed out solo for a few days, heading towards Port Lincoln for the night.
Whyalla Conservation Park was the next on my list, The main one I wanted to find here was the 2001 Cache and Australia's first intercache.
This one was cool, although it may have been more fun if there had been somebody about to challenge...
**Thanks to Tempo 0 for the cache. TNLN**

We found this cache on our Northern road trip, which was to celebrate my significant birthday. We saw some great places, met some wonderful people and slept through some 3 dog nights. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and finding caches made the trip more memorable – Thank you and ……Joy to the World!!
found it. I love this one but we didn't play the game today as lots of caches to find.
Found with Team Waldron and The White Dog Gang as part of a three day jaunt over to the west coast. This cache added to around 200 caches found in a range of bush and city settings in Whyalla, Port Augusta, Iron Baron and lots of other places. TFTC.
Doing a Whyalla & surrounding area run with Team Waldron & Trail 06.
This was one of the many we found.
Cool spot, thanks for bringing us here

No time to sit down a play a game when the only true game is afoot (geocaching of course) and more caches to be found.

Wonderful cache to find with the family. Kids loved it. Lovely time of day (5PM) with the sun low in the sky and golden orange painting the tops of the trees.
Thanks for history on the place! Sandlewood is indeed amazing, although shame there is only a few left. Tftc!
Sandalwood !! [:o]
Out here ??
I used to have a pen made of sandalwood, and never got much writing done with it .... the smell kept distracting me
It is a beautiful smell [^]
So thanks for the history of this site and of course the nice smelling cache near the gameboard

Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia after having attended Oz Mega.
Today we moved camp to the caravan park so that we had access for power and water. So we arrived early and then proceeded to do 5 loads of washing.
Once the chores were done, lunch was had and we set off to tackle the local caches with numerous favourites before we leave town.
This was one we found whilst in the area.

Interesting spot –I wonder if O’s and X’s is really what it was for.
Unfortunately water had got into the cache and the log (not in baggy) and contents were saturated. It was threatening rain so no chance to dry it out and I didn’t have any replacements with me, so I couldn’t do anything to help – sorry.
I did retrieve a smiley badge which had been in the cache, as rust had made it unique in appearance. See attached photo with comparison unrusted badge.

Today, we tackled some dirt tracks, which wasn't the best of ideas, due to the recent rain.
A couple of spots were extremely soft & muddy, but the geo-cruiser never let us down.
We left some caches due to their placement, and hope to pick them up on another visit.
The geo-cruiser got filthy dirty and so did our shoes, but a great fun day was had.
Cache was an easy find, and in good condition.
Thanks for the hunt today, Tempo 0.
