We are pulling the camper trailer today, gradually making our way back south to Sydney and then onto Canberra. We parked a little further down the hill so that we would be able to do a decent U-turn with the car and camper trailer, and then then took a walk up the bitumen road and onto the dirt Trail to GZ.A beautifully constructed container, although we note the lid is missing but things seem to be very dry nonetheless inside. We added our name to the log and then back to the car to continue our journey today. Thanks DowdieDomsky
Out for a stroll on the first day of school hols. A surprisingly quick find at GZ. Container is in good shape but the cache is missing a lid. Log signed and replaced as found. TFTC
Cache had rolled away, so we placed it back where it should be according to the previous finder we had with us.
Final stop on the way through. Lucky we had a previous finder in the group as they spotted the cache a fair way from GZ, we assume someone may have kicked it down the hill! Replaced where it should be according to previous finder. TFTC
The last one for us in this area. its been a pleasant walk through. Cache was quickly found and log signed although its in need of a new logbook. TFTC
This cache has been on my list for a while as it helps towards a future D/T loop. We were in the area today, so had to drop by to make the find here. We enjoyed following the paths in this reserve as we have never been here before. It was a lovely peaceful walk in the beautiful sunshine today. There were a number of options to check and we set about doing so. After exhausting one area, we looked around to choose the next area and spotted a suspect hide. After moving over to it we discovered that it was indeed the cache. Thanks Dowdie
After dragging myself out of bed, feeling like my caching abilities may be inhibited by the dreaded lurgy that i've picked up, I grabbed a couple of close-ish FTF's (that's been a while since I claimed some FTF's) I saw 3 little caches that were waiting to be found.Stopping at the first one, I realised maybe I will need to come back to you as there was nearby peeps enjoying the sunshine, so me and the geo-pup went for a leisurely stroll to grab this one and the next. Now I can confirm the Lurgy did put a cast over my finding abilities however after a some time (longer than needed to be), Cache was found, log was signed and replaced as found. Thanks so much. #811
After visiting the Haig Street Quarry Bushland Reserve yesterday, I decided to return again today to find a second cache to plugs another gap in my 366 Find Date Calendar. This is a nice reserve tucked away in Ipswich and without Geocaching, I would never have discovered. Arrived at the GZ after a pleasant walk and started my search. I found this cache quicker than I expected.Sadly, the cache is missing its lid and ants have set up residence. After removing the ants, I extracted the log, being thankful that its a Rite in the Rain log. Without a lid, this ants will return quickly. Maintenance required: cache needs a new lid. TFTC. TNLN. SL. TBs Prado Owl , The Great Leap Forward Geocoin , Rawhide , Surrey Travel Tag, Sheeps on the Journey (Orange) and Kiwi Bird visited.Find # 1985.
Our trio has come here today to grab a couple of close by caches. Brislions & I went in search of this bad boy & found it after some intensive looking.
After the events this morning, after finishing up at Upper Brookfield we headed more west side of Brisbane. To grab more oldies. We found 5 more caches. This was next on the list. I needed this cache to filled the second last spot on my next loop. Cache was found, signed and replace back. Dowdie thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for geocaching community enjoyment.
Very clever hide. Found in a few mins, camo is perfect and very natural. Cache is still missing its lid, but it’s on waterproof paper so it doesn’t really matter. Great craftsmanship
After spending almost 2 hours at the troll stop Nyressi and I found this one within minutes. Hidden plain sight but camouflages. Take your time to assess everything. Also if you are planning on coming to this cache please bring a small ziplock bag to put the logs into. The cap of this cache is missing.. TFTC!
Found tonight with our Scouts North Ipswich and Karalee they were blown away with how cool this one was
Took a bit of looking but after consulting a previous log, we discovered that Mr STW had already turned it upside down as his first activity when we'd arrived. He just hadn't seen the log sheet! TFTC.
Found with stairman1 and geodogs. This one took a little longer than expected. Tricky.TFTC
Found with goldielover today while taking the dogs for a walk. All good here with your cache

I found the cache but couldn’t sign it due to not having tweezers (I’m a rookie geocacher)
TFTC it was a great hide!

Went into this one unsure how long it was going to take.
My phone rings right as we arrive at the GZ. It was about a business opportunity so I’m chatting away not really paying attention. A few minutes into the call I look up and Lou has found the cache! What the heck!! That made my job easy. We signed without issue and popped back into place.
TFTC. Found with Loutastic.

Hard to find, it had been moved from location but after previous finders pictures we managed to locate and return to correct spot. No cap and log only retrievable if you have tweezers
Today, a late plan was made to hike to Flinders Peak, and walk a circuit via Mount Blaine. Flinders Peak was an enjoyable and well-trodden track up, however, Mount Blaine was a steep rock scramble and a morale challenge. I then took the opportunity to visit various geocaches in the Ipswich area, which included South Ripley, Swanbank, Flinders View, Eastern Heights, and finally Brassall. Highlights included the Box Flat Memorial, Limestone Park, and Haig Street Quarry Bush Reserve.
I followed a nearby street that was quite close to this geocache, and it was all quiet where I found a park right beside the entrance to the tank vicinity. I then followed a nearby walking trail to GZ, and it wasn't long until I found the well camouflaged/concealed cache! The cache blends in so well, that I think I got lucky. The cache container's lid is missing, but otherwise the rest of the cache and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Dowdie for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

I found a park nearby and wandered in for a quick finding after spotting a SPOR. Thanks for the cache
Took a bit, nice hide, no cap, did my best to protect log without concealing cache.
Today back in the Ipswich area. Nice day to pop out to find a few caches
Found while bimbling around Brassall'

Quick sneaky one log is unreadable and could not write in. In need of maintenance big time
Finally managed a visit to QLD after 2 years of planning and 6 lockdowns. New LGA's for me and fav caches were the main caches of focus.
Nervous what this could be but after the hike I was happy to make a quick find. Well created cache.
Thanks to Dowdie for the placement and fun.

Quickly spotted. Log is damaged as the lid is missing. Still able to be signed though. TFTC
At Ipswich for a few days, chasing a few caches during a morning walk. Thanks for the cache.
I had left the car near the pit stop and took the trail to GZ. My knees did not enjoy the steps but i managed to get my body to the search area and with a bit of luck I located the cache. The fence came in handy to negotiate back down the steps.

I've found some tough 4/4s over the years - this was quite a bit easier than most, but I enjoyed the search
What a great hide. Didn't read the description until we got here, felt a little defeated to realise we had left the geo kit at home with the tweezers. Wasn't going to let that stop us from looking, even managed to get the log out.
Found this one today. Great hide. Not sure I'd call it a terrain or difficulty 4 though.

Found with kelr0cks and armybrats04. Eagle eyed brat 4 spied this within seconds of arriving at gz. Maybe because he is the closest to the ground
I got an impromptu invite from Bloyce yesterday for this adventure. It was too good to pass up. So I rustled up a few kids and headed off. Bloyce shared the car ride so it was a road trip of sorts.
We arrived at GZ and dropped our stuff, mentally settling in for an afternoon of searching. But no need, it was unearthed in only a few minutes. Just a result of having 4 searchers, I think. It would take so much longer solo.

Out for an adventure with the 5Meerkats crew. A fairly nondescript area so it was difficult to narrow down where the cache might be. I was trying all the wrong spots but after a few minutes 5Meerkats made the find. In truth probably not a 4 terrain (or a 4 difficulty) but fun nonetheless. TFTC!
Out with Mr CuriousQuest, finding a few caches. After finding a nearby cache, we continued to this one. I should never approach a cache with a preconceived idea, but I did this one. Of course, my idea did not pan out. We searched and searched without luck. Finally, we were about to give up when I spotted something. Closer inspection revealed the cache. Happily we added our names to the log, returned everything as found, then continued on our way. TFTC
Out and about today with Selva Girls to pick up some caches today. Nice sneaky one we signed the log and returned as found. TFTC
Very creative love the process put in to make this one invisible yet very visible
An excellent cache.
We found this one before we upgraded to premium but couldn’t log it. And had to come back to make it official.

Even having the company of a previous finder did not help! We spent way to long searching but we were determined. Eventually we rocked it! Fab camo!
Well Dowdie another awesome cache, i was expecting tricky but not that, well done i was almost ready to give up when i tried a different tactic, didn't quite believe it at first but jackpot!!!
Four sets of eyes, three phones and a GPS... and it still took a very long time... I think I had in mind a particular type of container and it actually was something different...
PirateLinda had the “ummm guys moment” with the rest of us just looking in disbelief...
Tftc...... very sneaky...

OMG not a quick find at all. Out with Peppa Giraffe 18 and 2ManyTrailers. Even with 4 sets of eyes. Peppa says “That’s it let’s go” I look down to head back to the path and wham ‘What’s that?” We all decide we ALL must have touched the cache at some point . Clever hide. Thanks for the cache
On a holiday to Queensland to meet up with gridge98 for a few days and travel around the country side checking out new places and also collect a few caches along the way.
Apologies for the generic log.

This cache was on my to do list for this trip, we stopped by here and made the short walk up the hill, after searching around the cache was soon found. A little tricky.
On a holiday to Queensland to meet up with my two younger brothers (JL Rockstar) for a holiday/caching trip, a 4 day adventure that started with some disasters but slowly got better throughout which ended on a high.
Travelling up to tin can bay and Gympie, our to Kilroy and south west out to Ipswich.
Overall a great trip away with a total of 79 finds excluding the almost 50 labs found.
Thanks for the cache and it’s placement.
