As last finder said need maintenance. Have tipped it upside down to stop water getting in and Stone on top to prevent it blowing away again.
Another windfall cx. For some reason, my cell phone switched into Airplane Mode, so I was flying blind until I turned this off.
Sadly, this cx was muggled. I found several bits scattered behind the object. I was able to reassemble them and place it properly, but the lid is broken, so the CO will need to put this on the to do list. TFTC.

Interesting comment on the reason for the title. Had to share the road with a huge tractor and pile driver, so the land is still under renovation. Cache is all good. TFTC
Found with NZDi. We are staying at Carters Beach Holiday Camp as a base for a few days geocaching on the Wet Coast. After travelling from Blenheim and setting up the caravan we had plenty of time for some caching in the late afternoon/evening. I had the new Kawatiri Coastal and Heritage trail of caches when I was looking at the geocaching map a couple of days ago so we did the first section of that this afternoon. After dinner we came out to mop up a few stragglers this side of the Buller River.
This was the sixteenth and final find find of the day, in fact it was our final find of the year.
Another fresh log to dirty.
TFTC weenz as you've provided 14 of the 16 caches found today, I think you deserve a FP so +1 from me.

*Thanks for putting out this cache for woolwood9 and I to find!*
SL **tm/ww NZ** (may just be a black smudge on the many wet or plastic logs)
Weather was quite bad again with several heavy showers of rain
*We soon had another good cache located!*
Appreciate all your good caches in the area, weenz.

Cache lying out in the open. Log very wet and unfortunately I didn’t have a dry one with me. Left my last one at a previous cache earlier today. Able to sign log - just, and hid where I thought it should go.
On our way to Pancake Rocks with family from Holland. What a great excuse for a quick stop there is a cache here yeh. Thanks for the cache weenz.
After an awesome four day hike doing the heaphy track we have two nights in Westport.. exploring this morning before we go for our underworld rafting experience..

Had a great drive around the block today Greymouth, Reefton, Westport plus a few side roads, a bit of rain, many thanks to all the cache placer's. Thanks Bitsprayer
.Quick snag and tag here. Cheers
Enjoyed walking the Cape Fouldwind Walkway and have picked up Toby to go exploring again. .
Its off on another geotour this weekend with The Seagnoid, Zara and Toby. We spent last Sunday in Nelson collecting the gemstones from the Museum Heist, so this weekend we are on a Geotour to the Westcoast with The Seagnoid, Zara and Toby, to return the gems. Saturday we visited Denniston, Kawatiri River Trail and Tauranga Bay. The gems have been successfully returned to the Museum. So lets see what else we can find while here. Thoroughly enjoyed walking the Cap Foulwind Walkway Sunday morning.

Family (In Laws plus Sister & Brother In Law plus their kids!) holiday on the West coast (Hokitika and Westport). Staying at Carters beach; heavy rain throughout the morning meant a day in Westpot - fined up late afternoon so dashed out to walk around Cape Foulwind. Stopped here for a quick find and sign amongst the puddles! Bit wet underfoot but cache all good. Cheers!
Down from Northland, visiting the South Island on a 7 day caching and sight seeing trip. The main object was to find the last four CANZ caches, finish off my D/T grid, fill as many spaces as possible in my Jasmer grid and then concentrate on special types, solved puzzles, completed challenges and those with good numbers of favourite points, plus maybe a few extras that were close to any of our stopping points.
The trip started off on a good note, with our rental cache mobile being little more than a week old and only 109 kms on the clock. It certainly had a few more by the time we returned it..!
Day six today and heading off from Westport to Greymouth. Decided to detour via Cape Foulwind and pick up a few local caches first. Stopped here for this one after visiting the cape. A quick find in the hint location. TFTC

Was wet, had a empty lollie bag so dried as best we could and doubled bagged the log. TYFTC
A nice and quick find. Cheers.
Today we pottered around Westport, geting some of the nearby caches. Then off to Hokitika for the night. Great weather and a lovely drive.
Thanks to all the CO's for placing and maintaining these caches. Cheers.

A quick easy find, but we added a small waterproof logsheet, as the old log was mush. TFTC
Not far from where we were staying so a nice easy grab driving about. Sorry for the slowness in logging. TFTC
Doing the rounds of the local roads near to our accommodation to collect caches after our Cape Foulwind walk - a quick find and log signed - thanks for the cache
I had just parked up the snail's shell up at a POP on the Greymouth road a few kms out of Westport and seeing that the sun was still shining I decided to venture on down the road to sign off a few caches.
Cheers for the cache.

#5281. The family are on holiday in the South Island. After driving up from Lake Brunner yesterday we spent the night in Westport. Today we head to Nelson. But first we are planning to visit Cape Foulwind, Tauranga Bay and the Seal Colony. Of course I have a list of geocaches to tick off before we arrive in Nelson. Heading off now towards Nelson. This was on the road out to the main highway. A nice quick park and grab compared with Tasman Views. Signed and replaced the cache as found. Thanks for hiding it here weenz.
Our last find for the day. The bag was wet and the log was falling apart. Dried bag as best we could, will need checking. tftc
Yeah it's amazing how they have brought pakahi land into production eh, has certainly changed the landscape and I imagine added much value to the local economy. TFTC .
On our way to view the seal colony, we just had to log one single cache, and this one was the one selected. Thanks to the hint it was an easy find. Thanks for placing this cache.

A long weekend proved to be just what it said on the tin; a weekend that was long. With mrs capperz trapped in work for 2 of the 3 days this weekend a plan was made to head over to the West Coast for some caching, with the added bonus of some fine weather too. Forecast was for clear skies and low 4, high of 15 degrees, which is some preferred caching weather. Also in possession of a geocaching map of Westport being virgin territory there was every chance of finding a 'few'.
A slight chance of one of 2 FTFs in Westport and the bait was dangled and too good to not take a swipe at. Headed off at 0830 on Sunday and got back around 1830 on Monday so a full on couple of days with park n grabs, beachside specials and a walk along the Cape Foulwind walkway (there wasn't any wind, and it wasn't foul so thinking of renaming it Cape Nicesun.
Day 2 of our trip and most caches were on the Western side of the Buller river. We've now done the Cape Foulwind walkway so now it's time to find a 'few' more before, and as, we head towards home.
Q E F here and off to Bull Road next
T F T C weenz, that's a few of yours today now

Geocaching was one of the minor parts in our wonderful and way too short trip to NZ.
We had a brilliant trip through this awesome contry. We were highly impressed by these quick changes in landscape. Thanks a lot to NZs openminded and lovely people, we always had the impression to be welcome.
We hope to be able to come back one day and visit some of the numerous things we couldn't take a look at.
Cheers from Germany guys and thank you soo much

Another good find today in the rain. Got to GZ found the cache soon had it in our hands and signed the log. TFTC greetings from the UK
#568 A nice cache on our NZ drive.
Today we found a total of just under 60 caches, breaking our record of caches in a day. we saw many beautiful sights and visited many nice places, New Zealand is full of these. We drove up from Greymouth to Punakaiki and across to Hanmer Springs. A long day with a lot of driving but it was definitely worth it.
Thanks to all the hiders for their caches, without you we would not be able to find these caches and some of these great spots.
All logs were signed wherever possible. Some logs were full or waterlogged and this prevented us from logging them.

Quick find in the middle of nowhere. We had the same 'issue' with the heath where I come from.. everything had to be turned upside down in order for the crops to get to the nutriens below a barrier layer..

[green] Drove down Friday night for a three day wages to petrol extravaganza. Doing the Blenheim - Greymouth - Westport - Blenheim loop. Drove to Reefton Friday night so I could grab some empty log books early the next morning. That done its on with the main mission. An awesome three day experience, only about 30 caches per day, but two badge upgrades, weka, seals and penguins, an awesome coast road and an awesome coastal walk. Wonderful.
After the Cape Foulwind walk I am just mopping up a few caches on this side before heading back to Blenheim. Nice easy find here.

Today we set out for a daytrip to Granity to grab some caches but ended up as far as Hector. A brilliantly hot/sunny but long day. A nice quick P&G here. I remember when these were first published. I cant believe its taken us a year to finally grab them. Thanks for the cache [purple]Our cache find: #3055[/purple] | [green]Cache of the Day: 2/18[/green]
While stopped here we watched the efforts of a farmer to move one belligerent cow down the road.

13022… Thanks for the info about why the land needs to be Flipped, interesting process, TFTC.
Interesting info on the cache page explaining what was going on around gz. It's the first time I have been along this piece of road.
Thanks weenz for the cache.

Quick easy find on our way past as we tried to get little miss SB to sleep. Parking should not be attempted at GZ but west of GZ is easiest. Thanks for the hide.
We never need an excuse to visit the West Coast so when there's new caches published and a grandson to take home we can easily combine both. A joint 2TF here tonight with Hazedarus on the way back from cape Foulwind. TFTC.
Yup, I know about flipping. Landcorp has achieved some seemingly unachievable goals here. TFTC
