Logs
Knowing that this was a sneaky cache, we came prepared to look in some strange spots. Soon enough the cache was found after looking around the more obvious spots here. Thanks for a creative hide
Saw the geocache though the fence but gate was locked and the owner wasnt home
Was kinda hard bc I have never done it before but it was fun me and my girl did it recommend
Nice quick find on this one. Took a while to extract log but found two. Rearranged cache contents and replaced. Thanks
Interesting hide, feeling like we were invading the cows home. Found easily but wondered why the log wouldn’t fit nicely. Removed a baggy and came up with the original log. Moved the secondary log to the base and used the baggy as a lid. Thanks for the smiley.
Good Geo - Road was blocked of with a fence so cows would not escape, had to ask owner of house to let us through

Wagging work wet Wednesday was upon us, and SaintsMadHouse and I had some serious goals to kick today… once I had finished at acupuncture that is.
The plan had been meticulously laid out by SaintsMadHouse for a productive and successful outing.
We pulled up here and I clambered out to make my find but did get slightly sidetracked by the very cute broken cat figurine here. If we had a spot of glue with us I’d have fixed it up. However back to task at hand and I quickly signed the log.
Thanks for the cache Team Zener.

I made a quick find but what's with the cats? One of them has lost its head. Thanks Team Zener and happy caching
Always wondered if you could get right beneath the golf ball, when driving by it on the motorway.
A shame you can’t hike up the hill but still good to get as close as possible and see the surrounding area. And a crafty cache at GZ!

Today, my plan was to attend the CITO Event [Hardcore Clean-Up: Attacking the Aquaculture](https://coord.info/GC9YVBX) in Alberton, so I took the occasion of making a drive around the vicinity, as I hadn't really checked out this side of the M1 Highway and Logan River.
I set off a little earlier to find a few geocaches in Stapylton, and then arrived at the CITO to quickly understand how much work was required in assisting the clean-up. Following the CITO, there appeared to be a natural loop of geocaches (including the CDPT - Couchmen & D&Mocha Power Trail) that took me through Woongoolba and Cabbage Tree Point, and then circled around through Steiglitz, Norwell, and finally back to Yatala, where I had a late lunch at the famous pie shop. My drive did allow me to partially complete the *Our Early Settlers* Adventure Lab.
I didn't realise until later in the day what this weather station and "tee off" title was referring to, and so it was a much-belated chuckle. I didn't find any fence that chamad spoke about in his 7/08/2022 log, so perhaps that fence was only temporary. Consequently, I drove up to GZ, and it wasn't long until I found the cache. The cache container was in good shape, but the logbook appeared to be stuck in the end, and no force or tools available could extract it. I decided to add a new waterproof logbook page at the end in order to remedy the issue. Thanks Team Zener for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Found the sneaky cache. Full of water but it luckily has water resist paper! Signed away and left a tb
There is an unofficial fence across the road stopping access to the gates further up the road. I spoke to a neighbour and apparently the fence / gate has been put up due to cattle in the area. We did not go any further and left it for another day.
Dialled in the golf skills today, glad we checked the weather first. Geopartner was quite off course but lucky me reached around and tinkered for the win. TFTC
We were a few metres "off course" but happy to be marking as found. TFTC clever one
After attending the CITO event at Eagleby this morning, I came to Alberton to climb a tree and now finding caches on my way back to the highway before heading home.
In my search for caches, I seemed to miss this one on my way around the area, so was intrigued to find where this one was. Drove down Yellowtail Road and had to stop to admire the golf ball on the tee!!! I use this radar to check on the weather conditions for my home and now I know exactly where it is.
Continued up the road to the gate, where I found this clever hide. SL then returned as found.
On my return out, noticed guavas ripening on the trees nearby. Picked a few to take home. Bonus find for today. This looks like where an original homestead must have been with the old fencing and fruit trees. A fav point from me.

Love a precise clue. 2manytrailers trailers was off and running for one gate post while Peppa did the other post. All I could do was fluff about looking at the locks. 2manytrailers came up with the goods. Signed and off we go.
First things first, the information on this cache page was both interesting and informative... it caused much discussion in the car that included the Bug Bang Theory... anyway back to the cache... 2manytrailers went one way and I the other... she came up trumps... clever hide... tftc...
Love these types. Been wanting to find this one for a while. Beautiful day out here! X.
This one was a bit harder to find, if you’re and electrician you will find this easier than others
First one of a fair few for today.
First cache that one of our family friends has ever seen. Really smart container to use. We also saw some frogs in in a spot where we thought the cache was. TFTC

How can you not love the radar. Used weekly in my house and daily in summer. Thanks for the hide!
Found it no problem but did not come equipped with the necessary tools to extract the log from deep inside. I have photo if necessary TFTC
Nicely hidden, last one for today and a good one!
Replaced full log with waterproof log and new bag.
Allok
Thanks!

Unfortunately someone in this road decided to put a fresh batch of barbed wire fencing straight across the road about 20 metres from the geocache which has made it inaccessible. Will try again when I next head that way but looking at the changes not holding out much hope. For some reason can't log as requiring maintenance for the cache owner as can't get the option up - apologies.
Out collecting a few caches in the area.
I was expecting to see a golf course. Couldn’t see a radome either.
Kieran left me with a tough job extracting the log. No tweezers at hand it took me quite a while. Hopefully I’ve left it a bit easier for the next person.
Cool hide.

A lady down the hill spraying weeds gave me a look as if I was driving into her place, maybe she thinks she owns it! When she disappeared I made the grab.

Out and about on the Sunny Coast for a little Tuesday morning adventure with Slow Puncture, visiting loads of pretty traffic light boxes, puzzles and other hides along the way. The morning started out chilly but soon warmed up into a beaut clear warm winter's day.

Another perfect Winter day for a morning drive around near Beenleigh again.
Lots of muggles around today and a few more good safe hides.

Luckily it was in the first place I looked... I had noted the clue
Awesome cache in good order... A favourite point from us today.
We loved the thirteen locks on the big gate. Now that I'm logging I wish I had taken a photo of them.
Thanks for the cache

Find #329
Was waiting for the girlfriend to meet up with me at the BP to go looking at Christmas lights. Got there slightly early, so what better then to fill in the time then to grab some caches
I used to work within eye sight of this tower, never worked out how to get even close to it. Now I know . Arrived at the GZ today, spotted the likely spot. Search and searched and turned out I was wrong. Took me way longer then it should have taken me but ended up with some ideas in the pipeline and voila, there the cache was.
The log was retrieved, quickly signed and replaced and off I went, see how many I could grab before time ran out.
Thanks for the cache Team Zener, cache is in great condition.

Nice and easy and in a beautiful farming area, with an abundance of adorable calves .
Have always wanted to find a way to get to that giant ball thingy (weather radar) that looks like a giant golf ball and finally found the right road, but of course the gate was locked and we weren't able to get a closer look. Fortunately though there was a cache and Black Flag 78 made the find. TFTC
After some family pie eating at Yatala ODST 501, Black Flag Angel, the little tike and I decided to have a go at this one. We got closer to GZ parked, jumped out and had a look. After reading the hint it wasn't long before the cache was in hand and our names on the list. TFTC.
Today I took a pretty random road trip from Gold Coast to Brisbane, trying to find a "few" caches along the way. In the end it was all good fun. Nice one! One of the cleverer caches I found today. Found it in the second place I looked. Unfortunately the log was stuffed in so far it could not be retrieved. I signed a spare bit of paper and placed that in the cache. Hope that's OK. TFTC, Biggles.
First quick find for the day! Thank goodness hopefully our luck is changing.. Thanks for placing
