Woohoo, Mrs SKI found this in the first place she looked due to some great coords.Another trip to Tumut to catch up with family and collect some of our grandchildren who will be visiting for the New South Wales school holidays. We can never resist the opportunity to do some caching in our travels and this trip was no different. We focused on a few areas in and managed to complete a number of Ad Labs as well as traditionals, multis and puzzles. A couple of Virtuals in Wangaratta were an added bonus. We always enjoy searching with our grandchildren who managed to find a number before we did.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache BettyBoo3747.**SKI Pair****
Checked this one whilst in the area. All good here although it took me a while to locate it.
Found with LittleBoss2 and Geo the puppy as we enjoy a weekend in Mansfield. Quick find today after expanding the search. Thanks
Out for a great Sunday drive with Bogonghazy and Geo pup. Thanks for placing the geocache
Out and about and travelling from Mansfield VIC to Holbrook NSW. On the way stopped at various caches, found them and signed the log book. TFTC
Travelling from Mansfield to Holbrook, NSW on our slow trip to the mega in Canberra. We have stopped for both caches and Adventure Labs along the way. Thank you to all the COs who have placed caches for us to find.
Found in the dead of the night on our way home from an awesome day on the water at Lake William Hovell .
Decided to cache out Tatong which was still beautiful at night time, with it's murals lit up in the night.
Thank you BettyBoo3747, and yes indeed, the log will be right for a good long while.

Thanks to ChewinPrickles for calling past today and leaving a new log sheet. Right again for a while now I hope.
Found by Mary and David at 12:10. In Tatong for the Ad Lab but alas the bonus seems to be MIA./The last day of our 3 week trip to QLD. M is car-bound with a broken ankle in a moon boot, so D is doing all the steps. Found ok after a short search. A worthy addition to the caching history of the area. Only one space left on the log. Our thanks to BettyBoo3747.
Well I was now supposed to be on my 6 week adventure up to Outback Queensland but with my knee failing me I just had to turn back around and head home.
So after 3 weeks of rest at home I was getting cabin fever so for the last week I just had to get out so Western Victoria beckoned so I could grab a few LGA’s and UBD Country VIC maps which would not involve a lot of walking.
So after finishing of Western Victoria I’m now heading to North Eastern Victoria to do the same.
This will be a 4 day whirl wind tour of a lot of Victoria.
A couple of Hume and Hovell monuments are my target this morning before continuing on with the maps.
Found my monument and decided to find a few in town.
I have this strange feeling that I have been here before and seen this trolley but I soon located the cache and added my name to the log.
Thanks BettyBoo3747 TFTC

We were in the area today doing the nearby Adventure Lab and there was time for a few other caches as well. We never do well with micro containers on machinery, guns etc. but Lyn found the container quite quickly. Thanks to BettyBoos3747 for the cache.
Another day out caching. Interesting history here, wouldn't have come here, unless there was a cache. TFTC
After doing the adventure lab here, it was time to do some cache searching. Thanks for bringing me here. TFTC
We took a day trip to Tatong caching on the country roads. This was the furtherest cache we did today which was just out of our pocket query.
Didn't take long to spot this cache. Now its time to do the AL
Thanks BettyBoo3747 for placing this cache.

This was the fourth find of 35 finds for the day. The trouble with wanting to obtain as many cache types in a day is that there are always caches along the way which you must weigh up whether it is worth spending the time looking for the cache or avoid temptation to boost numbers and stick to the plan. Mizmaz and I hedged our bets that we could look for this cache because it was near one of the waypoints for the AL. That made it easier to decide but after looking at the nature of GZ, it did take us longer than we hoped for but we finally spied the cache using a couple TOTT. SL. TFTC.

En-route to Mt Buller for my first webcam while attending the Wangaratta Mega, picked up a couple of bonus smileys along the way. Had quite a few options to check here but a TOTT revealed the hide easily, which also assisted in avoiding the ants as quickly as possible.
Tftc, made a quick find whilst doing Lab waypoint nearby, which is always nice on these machinery type hides
TFTC. we had just completed the Artwork Adventure Lab around town and decided to find the other caches in town. This took longer than it should have.
Doing with Adventure labs. I had a great time finding your cache BettyBoo3747, thank you so much for placing it.
Interesting piece this timber trolley. Had the Geokids looking but soon enough Geohubby had cache in hand. TFTC
Stopped off between work calls with my junior geocachers and picked this one up. TFTC
Tatong was my target for today, and spotted this timber trolley thingy. Took longer than it should have to locate the cache Coords worked well for me.

Got the call from Rebel Acts regarding going to Bonnie Doon and putting some smiles on the map, couldn't think of anything better than caching on a nice Saturday.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
We had to head to Bonnie Doon for the day so Natgirl could check on the horses at our Family property there so this gave Me a few hours to go caching so I invited My good mate Omegaman1971 along for the day to get a few more caches in the North East and to go do the Lab at Tatong.
This is one of the caches we found on our travels. This took us longer than it should, the gps had us at the other end.
Thanks BettyBoo3747 for the cache.

Today was a travel day from Mount Beauty across to Tatong. Not far and it should have been a fun day full of success as I only wanted one mystery and one multi for my calendar. Well it hasn't been. By the time I reached Tatong I had 3 DNFs and i was feeling pretty low. Thank goodness for Tatong. In no time at all I had completed the AL and had the coordinates for the bonus, an easy find, and then decided that I may as well clean out the town.
Here Sam(sung) decided to take us in circles and when i did find this little fellow I couldn't understand how or why it had taken so long. Log has now been signed and cache returned to its hidey hole. TFTC BettyBoo3747

A quick find before continuing the local labcache.
We have just heard the news ......lockdown once again.......grrrr
Thanks BettyBoo3747, it seems we will not be seeing you and fellow cachers in Myrtleford now.

A nice quick find as we contemplated an announcement by Dan Andrews that
Victoria would be going into a 5 day stage IV lockdown because of Covid19! Decisions/Decisions - Do we stay in Benalla or do we go home?
Thanks BettyBoo3747 for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Snuck away for a few days camping with a muggle mate checking out a beautiful new spot. Unfortunately all good things come to and end and while the camp is over the caching journey home begins!
This looked like a potential micro on a cannon but fortunately it was no where near as hard.
Thanks BettyBoo3747 for the cache.

Considering that we found our last cache about half a dozen caches ago, we were pleased that this was a quick find. As we are hours past the time we expected to be home, we decided that it really didn't matter now anyway, lol. Thanks for the cache.

Another one found on our way home from the Pi(e) Day event in Seymour with dalerious.
And another degree found for my All Rounder project we are currently working on.
Thanks BettyBoo3747. The cache was clean and the log was dry.
I saw this when we passed by a few years ago on a bus trip, but it didn’t stop here, and I’ve been wanting to come back and explore the area ever since.

Day 2 of batching and so my aim today was to beat my previous record for a single day - which stood at 50 on a day around Beechworth and the Murmungee Basin in July 2018. Not a very big target (I am to get my first 100 day later this week) but hoped to get to 51 to make a nice round number (2300). So the plan was to load up the blue grader with CDs (not much sport on today) and head to a place I hadn't cached previously - Benalla. A good number of caches in close proximity and the opportunity to explore an area I hadn't visited before (other than a drive through on the freeway). Got away later than I wanted (though I needed the sleep) and finished in the dark (last was signed in the headlights) but in the end achieved my target (actually got 54) with a few DNFs (though only 1 logged) and some clever caches found and some nice places visited.
Dropped into the town of Tatong - for some reason I thought it was closer to Shepparton - maybe a different town starting with T - there are so many in Victoria (yesterday it was Tintaldra and Towong that I visited). Anyway the cache here was a quick find once I found the right end - signed and returned as found before heading back to Samaria Road via the same path as 15 minutes before.
TFTC BettyBoo3747 (your caches are still over 10% of my total finds - and plenty still to go).

Quick find by Ben with a bit of help from his mum (Michelle) "Mum, just moved my head.", earning himself a chocolate or two. Nice hide. TFTC
Out for a drive with my hubby and even though it was a very cold and wintery day, we took the opportunity to take to some of the back roads and grab a few stay finds, along the way.
Thankfully this was a quick find as the cold wind was howling and it even started to rain, while we were searching. It was an interesting old piece of equipment.
Thanks BettyBoo3747 for all the effort of placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

Sitting in the beer garden of the Tatong Tavern we realised this cache was only 137m away! Of course we had to find it...
Get out of jail card is running out, we are due back on the farm today. Our mini tour from Porepunkah has taken us to the Murray River, Bendigo trams, J Block in Ararat, and back via so many gold mining towns, I would have to refer to our map to list all the towns.
Day 14 - Murchison (somewhere beside the Goulburn River) to Porepunkah
Pulled in here to take a photo of the pub, and noticed a cache nearby. Saw a wooden trolly near the pub and incorrectly assumed that that was where the cache would be. Sadly, or happily, we had to go for a walk to find the "other" timber trolley". Once there it was a quick find, thanks BettyBoo

Went out on this freezing day to do a cache checking run around the Tatong Area. Checked them all and did maintenance as required.
Provided new log sheet for this one today. All good to go.

Found along with snaphappy, TR! and Helian as we journeyed around Mansfield and surrounds. We had a really lovely day, enjoying our day out, having a look around, taking in lots of history, coffee's, lunch, and a bit of caching. My thanks to BettyBoo3747 for the cache.

Hmmm ok it looks like I forgot to log the log of this log. [:o]
19 months to the day and I found myself back at GZ reaching for the same cache I had found last time.
Although a newish log sheet showed no sign of my earlier visit, a quick look at the digital logs and all became clear.
I guess I had best revisit my day out with locus cache to see what else I may have missed.
Log log signed (again) with muggle daughter this time (5/1/19) and returned as found.

Sunday morning coming down and there's no sleepy city sidewalk where I want to be........ just some dirt tracks, tall trees, great views oh and just possibly a FTF geocache too
Having been to Werribee yesterday for the 5 Months to the event in Alexandra - Werribee event it was too late to head out to Toombullup then but this morning was a whole new day [^]
Rousting dalerious from his slumber by SMS, it was agreed that a drive to some bushland was the plan for the day however we were severely time limited as dalerious had to start work early afternoon and we'd both had a sleep in this morning [)]
4 caches found and a lovely sunny day enjoyed
Stopped here on our way home and dalerious made a quick find of the cache
At least it's not a nano
Fascinating history and even if it is a replica, it sure gives a sense of how hard things were back then!

It's been awhile since I came via this 'alternative' route. Great to stop by and quick find - maybe the dark heightens senses!
Not Found. Looked all around 2, 3, 4 times. Just couldn't spot this one today. Some day I will have to return with reinforcements and try again, if it follows the usual pattern when I bring someone to help I can then go straight to it and not need the help anyway.
The cache is definitely still here. Another place I'm sure I've hunted before. Oh well. More smileys are good smileys.

Been a while since I had been to Tatong but I remember stopping here once before for a cache that obviously no longer exists.
Thankfully this wasn't too hard of a micro to find.
Had a good read of the stories in the history info stand before leaving.
TFTC Cheers.

As usual had to do the walk around the Timber trolley before finally spotting the cache. Another interesting piece of history.
Sitting at home thinking what a glorious day. So into the car to enjoy the day and a drive. Have driven past this many times so I decided to make the time to find this cache. Nobody around and no traffic and found after a few minutes. Thanks for the cache BettyBoo and the chance to get out and about.
