Decided to head out west today for a slew of caches out Mulgoa way - the land of **The Booos**. Found eight (including some previous DNFs) but DNFed a few more as well. I should sue!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Came here after finding *#5* and started sifting. And sifting... Well after 10 minutes I'd had enough - like the last visitor here. At least I found someone's ball (momentarily thought I had the find but no).
Now off south.

3 DNFs and 15 finds today - Glenmore Park & Mulgoa.
I headed out west this weekend for a bit of a Penrith plunder, today grabbing a few from the GP Fitness Freaks and FRACTURED PHRASES series. This ended up being my 2nd DNF of the day; came here after an easy find at #5 Domus Street.
I read a few of the past logs and could guess what the excessive camo around the cache was going to be. Sure enough there was loads of the stuff and it was like looking for a needle in a haystack. I moved a bit of it around here and there but quickly lost interest. That's it for this GP Fitness Freaks series - 3 finds, 2 DNFs and one I skipped altogether. On to "A tree with a view" next.

I left early in the morning to try to avoid the forecast heat. I still didn't return home until just after noon so I got most of the heat.
I achieved 18 finds and 5 DNFs some of which may be gone.
I had just about given up after searching high and low and on all structures. Just on the cusp of admitting defeat a friendly muggle jogger said "you're close to hit". His help achieved the find but I can't see that camo would need replacing as it would occur naturally.

Drove around the bend from the "Dorrius St one" and searched here and there for a while, then subconsciously walked to a spot while talking to a friend on the phone and there it is. Amazingly, I should try that more often, thanks ppmr
Took a while to find but got there in the end whilst racking up some numbers before heading up to the mountains for a couple of days to do some extreme caching with Delloro! TFTC!

Well, after warming up with 7 caches yesterday, today I decided to go all out now that my cache rationing to find 2000 is well and truly over.
Headed out Glenmore Park way again - still lots of caches here for me to grab.
And grab I did. Took the opportunity for a series of long walks covering a number of finds. 15,000 steps later... fourteen finds and only four DNFs (and a DNAttempt due to muggle workmen nearby).
Better still, a few of the finds expunged previous DNFs, including one cache that had just been checked by the CO after a few unsuccessful hunts.

Hmmm. 15 minutes here and I could spot nothing even remotely cache-y. Finally gave it up as I felt very conspicuous here.

Must have missed the obvious here, but there were more tricky or missing caches in this series?

Im from Central Coast stay Syd few days .... I went to see friends house today .. stop few find caches not all.... hide well thank
Wow, i would never had found this one if it wasnt for some great muggler neighbours who told me where to look. On a wet and rainy day there help was very appreciated. I hope the other caches in this series arent as bad.
Checked this cache tonight and all is great!
It's just sitting there waiting to be found

Used my extendable torch w/magnet on end that i got 4 xmas to get this one. I think we blocked the area from sum muggles doing fitness. Logged the wrong cache and have only just noticed. Found this one with joshwa27 on the date he logged it. Tftc
I had to deliver the faithful GeoBuru2 down to Penrith Subaru today, to have its regular maintenance work done. rogerw3 accompanied me and we planned to do a bit of geocaching during the four hours or so that the vehicle would be tied up. (I arranged for a loan car from Subaru.) What we found to the south of Penrith was a sometimes disappointing collection of caches (13 in total), a number of which really required either a bit of TLC or a complete overhaul. We also DNFed four caches, all of which we suspected had gone walkabout.
A flukey find indeed. As we began our search, a young man stopped his car in the street and gave us a hint. I really don't know if we'd have found this cache otherwise. As it was, there was no log in the cache container; it was completely empty.
We replaced the log with a bit of paper we had at hand because we were using a loan car (see above) and I didn't have my usual comprehensive geocaching kit at hand. I would have been happy to provide something more elegant.
As it is now . . . think arboreally. You may have to 'plunge in' a little bit. Will post a 'needs maintenance' log for this one. Hard to know if the container is now residing where the CO intended.
Thanks to ppmr for the geocache.

Streak Day #525 - Had to come out this way to do some xmas shopping, so nabbed a cache before i braved the shopping centre, took me a little to find this but managed to find on a different angle whilst on the phone to a PAF that couldn't remember it anyway hahaha. TFTC
9,006 + 1,010 = 10,016. Found during a work trip to the Penrith region.
After work today I headed to this area for a few caches. I love the concept of the fitness points along the trails. A quick find at GZ and it was off to the next one.
Thanks again ppmr !
TNLN - TFTC !!

Found on way home from picking up kids from school. Small but not too hard if you know where to look.
A lot harder to find in spring than it would be in autumn! Great container, tftc
Haha great spot! Haha had to wait for an old muggle to leave Worth the wait!
Seriously how have I not found this before??? I didn't have my caching eyes on. TFTC!
I had the day off so I decided to head out and tackle a few Glenmore Park caches!
I can't think of a better way to spend a sunny blue day
Thanks PPMR for the series!

This is the third time I've been here and still no luck finding this in. I as also very disappointing to see the condition or GZ. All the plants have been stepped on and squished. I hope it's from local kids riding their bike through here and not Geocachers.
Salem was grabbing find after find and rios bet him he would find the next one first... Well pride was on the line and with salem challenged he looked more determined than ever. He soon had the cache after looking where rios just was. Concorde and myself were hoping to find it before them but were looking slightly elsewhere. Looking forward to reading their logs which was what the bet was about. Tftc
Hahaha we all knew where to look, people rushed off to find it first... Boys will b boys... I, deploying the cunning and calculated attitude I have become known for spotted this one from about 3 meters away... Off ur knees boys- I got this lol TFTC and TF reminding the boys who I am
As per a little bet we had I have to praise Salem for being 'soo much better than me'>:-( sarcastically read anything in ' ' please lol I think he luckily found this because he didn't want to get dirty... But he is eagle eyed at times! 'All hail to the king' lol TFTC

I usually take a while to find this type of hide, but today I managed it relatively quickly. SL TFTC
Approaching GZ, I see the first place that needed investigating and had the cache in hand very quickly. TFTCM

The Geo Trail is getting pretty flat. Found it, but rode in without a pen. Save spot 24 for me. I'll come back on Tuesday to sign it.

GeoWife1 and I had a morning of caching around the Penrith area, most enjoyable.
After a short search about, the nice little hide was discovered, log signed and replaced as found.

I decided to clean up what remains of the caches in Glenmore Park (for now) I found this one with the WaywardWoman with me. She had found it previously, but then had the embarrassment of having to admit she lost the log. Luckily, the CO came and found the original log. So, when I logged the cache today, we put her name on the log too, just as it should be. Thanks
Find Number 2635
The Booo's found this cache.
After grocery shopping near we almost forgot we need a cache and so a quick park and grab was needed. Geo Daughter found this one fairly quickly.
Thanks ppmr for placing this cache
This log was generated using a combination of GSAK and iGeoKnife iPhone app

Booo Booo had this one in about 30 seconds she was on the ball today luckily as it was just on dark thanks
Was trying to find 9 today and I succeeded. This was my fifth find. I am sure I looked in that exact spot a few times last time. Oh well these things do happen. TFTC.
Not where I was expecting it to be! Followed the bison trail Treemendous cache hide.
Was contacted by someone today to state that there was no log book. I will go and put a new one in tomorrow and then put it back up.
#2540- Finding the cache was not the difficult part. But extracting the log, well that was another issue altogether. I didn't have my caching tools with me, so trying to get the log out, it flew across the ground, never to be seen again. I have put in some paper as a stop gap and notified the CO. Thanks
Looked and felt carefully all over the expected spot before following in other's footsteps. Thanks again ppmr.
Got. I assumed a nano under a seat or the like, but I was glad to see a bit of variety. Took us a while as we neglected the obvious hiding spot - GZ looking trampled. TFTC.
found with rubymoon05.... signed as missgeo10 at the time.. have gotten a new account since then though
Took a stroll around the area before looking for the cache, I loved how many varieties of grasses there were. But I'm not so keen on the sign I found a little further down the path - eek!
GZ is already looking very trampled.

Back to 1 find a day now the holidays are over!
I remember finding others in this series a while ago.
Thanks for bringing it back online.

I was nearby on another cache by this CO but this one had me stumped. Looked in two obvious places for a while. Back another day I think. After reading the log for the other one in this series I didn't want to attempt and went to greener fields.
