Hi there Reviewer,
RE: The cache "Almost Mt Lofty Park"
I'm following up on my "Needs Maintenance" log which is now well over 30 days old & there has been no action by the CO. The cache appears to have been abandoned and should be archived.

Ian & Penny

Hi there kestal.
This is the 1st of 1 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here but we just couldn't locate your cache. There's plenty of "trample" here too so we think somebody else has been here recently as well .
Here's a DNF from us.

Hi there kestal,
RE: Your cache **"Almost Mt Lofty Park"**
We are really sorry to report that the cache is missing. The hint is really specifc and the coordinates appeared to be spot on. Normally we would have replaced/maintained the cache but recent activities have left us with nothing to replace it with.

Caching around Toowoomba for a few days and another smilie for us.
Thanks youngoldfella.
Thanks youngoldfella.
Getting directions from the GPS for an auto-electrician and ended up here No auto-electrician but a shame to waste a caching opp so we looked for this. GPS mucked about again and took us on a bushy round trip to the cache not far from where we started. [xx(] Could be the start of a hard caching day.... TFTC kestal.
No cache in sight but did come across a baby red belly black where the cache might have been
Having been thwarted from reaching this cache on several previous occasions by carloads of extremely loud, drunken and bogan muggles, I finally managed to find a time when there was a reassuring absence of primitive hominids, and only one muggle car loitering aimlessly. I do not wish to speculate on what it was waiting for exactly.
A quick find, added some treasure as this generously sized cache container was bare except for a logbook in good condition.
As I returned to my car a hatchback turned up and an undressed young... um ... lady ... tumbled out into the tarmac on her backside, then crawled back in before the car took off.
I would describe this cache experience as somewhat like a day at the zoo.

This one is probably where it’s supposed to be byt after taking the loooonnnngggg way to the location, my gps going haywire due to tree cover and the arrival of two Ute loads of 6 pack carrying muggles we gave up.
Waited for ages hoping noisy, bogan, shirtless muggles would move on, but it looks like it's just not my day. Have to come back later when the ferals are elsewhere.
Had a little spare time so popped out to look for a couple of caches.
Very pleasant and interesting spot.
My geounit was not liking the tree cover, but I soon worked out where it should be, then found where it was.
All Good .. TFTC ..

Found ourselves a bit geographically challenged at this one, initially wandering off in the wrong direction. We made this waaay harder than it needed to be!! Lovely views here & lots of bird song. Nice spot! Tnsl tftc Kestal xo
Looked everywhere and turns out it was the tree beside the hint. Returning as found. Tftc
Find No: 6140. Visiting from Newcastle, on the way home from Darwin, thanks for the cache kestal!!
Found with Mum as 'Jess & Caro'. She is now Carø and I now have my own geocaching profile so we are sorting my logs for caches we found together. TFTC!
Found the cache but it has water in it and the log is completely soggy and the container and log both need replacing. TFTC
Water has gotten to this one but haven't got any spare dry paper with us but. Tftc
Kids went off and found this one.. the gps was pointing to a slightly different place than the container was actually located at but it may be because of the trees. Cache was placed back in location we found it. Thank you for the cache.
Walked across from the TV area to this park, disturbing first of all a local "parking-couple" who soon left in their vehicle. Sorry about that! Then a brown snake on the path it turns out I needn't have taken. In the meantime, the girls (Mrs RoddyC and DiamonJs) found the cache a little further north than where I first began looking. Log signed and cache returned.
Found at 3.55pm on 17th March 2016. TFTC.

On the way in Mr RoddyC saw a snake, we are not sure what kind or where it went but lots of bush bashing before my GPS went no go there, went there and wow a cache, sorry Mr Snake we did need to disturb you after all. TFTC - is this the local parking area, got the feeling we disturbing locals doing you know what.
I had to come to Toowoomba to have some work done on my car so I decided to come up a day early and do some caching.
The GPS took me a bit further down at first than I needed to go but then it settled a bit and sent me back a ways. I looked around and saw a tree that fitted the hint but no cache. A short search of the immediate vicinity soon and I soon found it though. Given the hint I'm not sure this one is in the original hiding place but I replaced it where I found it.

I was heading to Jubilee Park for an mtb ride, but I had time to hunt for a few caches on the way.
I took quite a while to find this one. My GPSr wanted me much further in to the jungle.

GeoKids like the little trek through the bush. Good fun find. My gps had me 5m down hill from location but added to the adventure ☺
Last hunt for the day with geopartner WallabyTim. Grateful for the shade and cool breeze on this stinking hot day. Took some searching, clue is good, had a few options with gps bouncing all over the place. TFTC
After a few geohunts with my partner KaleidoscopeCass this cache was found and signed. Good fun and thanks for the adventures. Tftc!
Took a little while to find this cache, although it was uncovered we were a few metres down the hill. Signed and replaced with some bark and a stick as cover. Thanks kestal.
After all the rain and wind we weren't sure if we would find it, but there it was, near the split! Tftc.
Looked at a likely spot which fitted the clue. But no luck there. Widen search but still no luck. Geokids were calling so decided to call it quits.
Maybe the next searcher will have better luck.
Maybe the next searcher will have better luck.
After searching the area for quite a while there were plenty of places it could have been amd using the hint 2 possible trees. Perhaps another day it will be found....
Trundled (or perhaps coached) the motorhome up here hoping for a view but not much of that any more owing th vegetation. We got views it in bucketloads at Picnic Point though. Headed down, followed the geotrails all about & eventually found our reward. Thanks kestal.
This one eluded me for a while, I went much deeper in the scrub than i needed to. Eventually I found the prize so happy with that. Cheers kestal

Another nice morning trip around Toowoomba on another perfect Autumn caching day.

When I was at High School, they used to make us run up and down all these hills for the cross country! Mean hey?
This was a quick find, great views I had forgotten about, thanks kestal

Cache is definitely missing has now been replaced. To provide a little more cover it is now next to the one that is split
I think the CO needs to check out this cache. There are only a few trees around GZ and none held a cache.
DNF at 2:22 PM. Add us to the list of failed. If the co-ords are accurate then it's not there.
Unfortunately didn't find this one despite looking and digging for a bit - this is the only split tree I could find close to the coords, and it wasn't there
With glimpses of toowoomba through the trees we followed the geotrail straight to GZ. Thanks kestal.
It was lovely up here this morning, though the breeze was a bit cool. I'm not sure they're the best views of Toowoomba itself but certainly ones I hadn't seen before despite having visited a nearby area for a cache some time ago. Pulled up as close to GZ as possible and followed the track, finding it easily. Checked out the quarry views as we signed and headed back to the car amid bird calls. TFTC, kestal. =^.^=
Found this little guys whilst detaching for the cache Mr 9 for a little more than he bargained for
App on my phone kept moving GZ around, but the hint led us to the right spot. Kids excited to find it after traipsing around in the bush!! Tftc!
Was alright but terrain difficulty should be higher unless it's not always that overgrown? Pretty cool overall though
Found with Jes5 after my birthday breakfast. Tripped a TB and picked up Happy TB. TFTC.
sorry actually found it at the beginning of the year but forgot to log it lol xD
Third time lucky, we finally found this cache as there have always been muggles around. GPS doesn't like this area and had to look around for this find. TFTC.
We came to Toowoomba for an event today and decided to collect a few caches while here. We made an error in judgement with this one and got our exercise. SL TFTC
Finding this one was incredibly exciting! I'd never seen a clean, blank log book before. I now know what it'll feel like when I finally am able to snare my first FTF. TFTC!
Found.... After stepping in human faeces... Not happy with the feral people in the world
GPS had us going in circles. When it finally settled down cache was easily located.

While up in Toowoomba visiting a friend, I found myself with a few spare hours before needing to pick up another friend and heading home to Brisbane. So I took a road trip to Jondaryan and grabbed the 4 caches in a neat little bunch there [^] And there's still time for a few more around Toowoomba
I was hoping to get a good view up here, but the trees are in the way Only a few scattered glimpses. Another car was parked here, but the cache is far enough away, and I pretended to take photos The cache was a quick find. TFTC, kestal.

I was in Toowoomba for work and decided to drop in on this one.
My first pass was not successful - a workman in a ute thought it would be a great place to stop right in front of GZ. I headed off for a while and returned.. only to find now a council worker cleaning up the area
But thankfully, he moved off quickly leaving me to search. I had resorted to using a smart phone.. which wanted me to go into the bush into more than necessary.. into very un-1.5 terrain like territory.
But I soon spotted the prize as I was backtracking. It was in good condition. I signed the log and re-hid it and moved off. Nice to visit this area again. TFTC kestal

Wow, I live near Mount Lofty in SA so I just had to do this cache while visiting the area. A nearby muggle had me taking pics (pretend ones) and hiking past the cache on purpose so that they didn't twig to what I was up to. A nice view through the trees and of the trees here. Birds flew past me and I enjoyed the peace up here. Picked up a travel bug which I will move on asap. TFTC kestal!!!
A wedding was going on in the vicinity, but they were finishing up when we wandered over looking for the vague vicinity of the cache. Nice easy find, thank you
In town visiting my Mum and now off to visit a friend.
Just had to detour via a cache or ... three.
my GPSr had me all over the place before it settled down.
Thanks for the cache.

#93!
Today we used youngoldfella's posted coordinates and would have had no problems at all except for a couple of girls who parked their car right next to GZ and sat back and relaxed while they ate their junk and whiled away their lunch hour......
After heading down the track to pass some time, walk around the tank to pass some time and pile back in the car and sit their for another while, they FINALLY moved on - well, they did but their rubbish didn't!!! So after practising some CITO we finally had the cache in hand and our names are in the log. We have certainly seen this park now!!! Thanks kestal!
(we left the trackable for someone who may be able to move it on sooner than us!)
