As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

I noticed that this cache has been in need of owner attention for a period of time well in excess of the period of "a few weeks" as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the archive listing link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

We were out walking with muggle cousin Penny who loves caching and walking. It was very steep here and lots of steeping was done. The cache was seen first by Penny as it layed on the ground. We replaced it slightly better hidded. Will email CO with info, but it may need replacing to wherever it was originally hidden. TFTC and the exercise -Zalain-.
Lot's of good things about today. 1) It's my birthday. 2). No one rang me up to work today. 3). I got to go caching and found this cache. Thanks for the tricky hide.
Eventually found sitting on the ground in the open.. Tucked yet back away.. GPS all over the show.
Day 10 of cache a day in May Went for walk with my sister wee nephew and niece Beautiful view on k great day
Missed it the first look over. After following the GPS in the wrong direction, Cache was found in origina spot.

Couldn't find it anywhere. Was also getting confused as the description said to the right but the map said to the left. :/
Found with my little treasure hunter whilst out for a walk and a play at the playground. Nice day to enjoy the view.
In Christchurch for work and working in the evenings to a caching plan to collect as many required caches for the Geo Licence Series up north.
Tonight this was the seventh on my list and after a careful hunt eventually located the offending item, thanks for a great challenge and a good work out on the way up to the cache

Accessed this cache via the easy way. Needed the hint as my GPS was all over the place. Thanks for the cache.
In the first place I looked for a change. Path was not as long as I thought it would be
GPS was a bit erratic, hint helped as well as a beautiful Red Admiral that was sunning itself about 10cm from GZ. While leaning in to take a photo of the lovely butterfly, spotted the clever hidey hide. TFTC
A hot day for a little caching. A quick walk around some Huntsbury caches-fun. Hint was good making for a quick find. Thanks for the hide
We came from the top and walked down. Mum made a very speedy find here in the first placed we looked. Its like she already knew where it was! Thanks for the cache

5806. Having done all his jobs for the day Rodney decided that it was a nice day for geocaching. Tough job being retired but someone has to do it! This was the fourth cache of the day and an easy one. Nice view! Thanks for the cache Rodney and Iris.
A little bit up the track from where GPS was telling me, cache in hand after a little bit of searching. TFTC.
Enjoyed the spot, but the coordinates were quite off for me. Relied on my geosenses to find the cache. TFTC.
Lovely view and great wee track! I will definitely have to add this to my hill walks. TFTC
My first cache (as a soloist, I have been out as part of a team with Rincewind3). Out for the exercise and armed with a hint from Rincewind I found this cache on the way.

A quick find although, like Justanurse, the coords had me 10m downhill. Found it in the most obvious spot with the clue. Tftc
Found it this evening. Cant believe I missed it last night even though it was dark. Thanks
Never knew about this pathway - but given the gradient, I am sure there is a reason why I have never been here before. Without the cache, I wouldn't anyway, that is what cars are for.
Out and about in the area after a visit to some friends. GPS couldn't have been better, stopped at exactly the right spot to take in the view. TFTC

No internet at work, so finished early to find some caches. Easily found this one once the GPS settled down. TFTC.

It was a "step on down" for me, quickly found while working in this area (that I also live in!)
Cheated a little and came in from the top. Found it hard to get the GPS to settle under the trees, but a good little find in the end. Thanks
A day out cacheing to see how many I could get. Tftc
Seem to be following "meandpedro" today

Spent a bit of time looking in the wrong place. Should read the instructions properly. Enjoyed the view. TFTC
Got it. I use this track regularly, so I'm pleased there is now a cache here. Tftc.
A good day to look at the beautiful sights. TFTC

No worries here. Found easily. Came from the top as it was closer to where I was before. Tftc
Once we discoverd the sneaky wee Steps,it was reativity a quick find. But for Caching we wouldn't have known this Pathway was here.TFTH
I was just down the bottom of the hill removing a cache I placed that was too close to some other unpublished caches, and thought I'd pay a visit. To this one after being foiled by my own cache as I found a brilliant spot for a cache but I'm too close to my one! Oh well, plenty of spots around the place . I parked at the top and headed down. I started searching at a spot that looked like a likely spot. I consulted my GPSr and it wasn't pointing anywhere useful. I went back to the first spot and then I found it as I didn't spot it in the dark and must have past it with the light. The city lights were spectacular tonight. Off home now.
Thanks for the cache.

Was steep on down for me, having come from a different direction, and having an unsuccessful look for Um, Epic Cache? a little higher up. Glad to get the hint as my GPS was pointing me to the other side. TFTC
TFTC. A spot I know well. Nice wee hidey hole.
A great view from here.
Thanks -Zalin- for placing the cache.

In the area. Quick find and sign with great views out and across the city. Cheers.
Thought we had gone the wrong way at first as seemed we had come into a dead end with no access but the path hidden in the darkness was spotted. Cache was quickly spotted and signed as Chelzea was taking photos of the night lights of the city below. TFTC

So, after the last FTF, with all this new found energy, of course we couldn't leave this one un found!!! So we raced on over here, and luckily I was smart, and we took the top route - brains over brawl eh?
Got to the GZ easily, even in the dark, but couldn't spot the tricky wee one! Looked all up down side to side... but it wasn't till we'd tracked a little over and happened to come from the right angle that I spotted it, and then it was a pretty quick sign, and race off to bed!!
ANd yeah - we got and FTF here too!! Pretty stoked about that! Two in one night! And all I had come for was my cache for the day!!
Consecutive caching day # 334 done!
