After a good walk around Tawharanui this morning, I stopped at this small little trail near Sandspit to take a look for the caches along here. I parked on the gravel side road and walked to the cafe and back again. The trail was quite muddy in places, but I found all caches without any problems. TFTC!

no we are not getting ... looked high up but had no luck finding it. wishing more luck to those coming in the next few weeks

Merlot58 and I then moved location to the Duck Creek Trail for me to sign off a few more caches.

I have stayed last night at Sandspit and will do so again tonight, loving this walkway guys, thanks for the cache.

No issues here hence no need to spit in temper or disgust! Cache found as per the hint and all signed in I moved on.

Perfectly positioned for someone of my stature. TFTC.

It was a very pleasant walk along the fence line towards GZ and we were pleased we weren't on the other side as that was a much less pleasant muddy bog. They say the grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence and this proved that point nicely as there isn't any grass at all. Looks like the cows have been having quite a dance party here.
Once at GZ we soon had the cache in hand which is nicely placed and in great condition.
A friendly fantail came to see what we were up to.

Out for the day with Merlot58, S/N and Nette to find the latest G2 caches in the area. The other ladies in the group had already found this one, so kindly waited while I detoured off the main track to find this one. Quick find here and as the cache is a decent size, dropped off a tb. TFTC

On a caching mission this morning with Keylev. I had mentioned that I wanted to hit 100 caches this week. Managed to get up to 50 so today was going to be the big one!

This was the only other cache that wasn't a new one. Approach GZ and soon discovered the cache. No worries here. TFTC

Out with Team Gold today (0B80B8 and Liscrew) collecting a few caches in the area. Really enjoying the trail. TFTC

Team G0LD had planned to cache in Orewa today, get 50 caches and clean up that area. Such a nice surprise to see a whole lot of new caches published. With no found it logs appearing on our way down we made the short diversion out this way to try for the ftfs.

I didn't have this one loaded but fortunately my teammate did. We got to this one, opened it and saw names on it. What?? With 3 ftfs already we were expecting another. Looked more closely at the cache page and realised this was the original one on the track. Pleased to get another find here at 8.08am to add to today's tally. Thanks for your cache

Walked in from Hamilton Road end. A nice little bush trail we were unlikely ever too walk if it was not for geocaching. I wonder if the continuation of this trail to Warkworth will ever be completed?
First visit to this cache for 2022 - still all good. TFTC

There was no spitting from the cache but the heavens were starting to spit out raindrops as we walked to this one, what a nice walk it was too through a lovely bit of bush

Nice walk, never knew this walk was here! Easy find.

Nice little walk through the trees from Hamilton Rd to get out of the fierce midday sun. Cache quickly found and signed and I was interested to read about the plans for this area and look forward to seeing the walk and planting progressing.

If it wasn't for geocaching, we'd have never known this trail existed. We initially parked up at the wrong trailhead and after walking in the wrong direction for a few hundred meters we headed back to the sign to see where we'd gone wrong. Ahhh theres another entrance a couple of hundred meters further up the road. Once there, we enjoyed the walk along the trail out to GZ. A little boggy in places but we made it to GZ with only slightly muddy shoes. A quick find and sign, we headed back the way we came - TFTC!

Decided we needed some fresh air this afternoon and as this walkway has been on our to do list for a wee while since we discovered existed (due to this cache of course) this is where we ended up. Great little walk which we will be coming to again. Not sure why the name of this cache but can say there definitely was spitting here while we were at GZ. This weather is just so unpredictable at the moment. Thought we were going to be in for a downpour but it stayed at heavy spitting stage. GPS had us in the middle of a number of Totara but we eventually found what we were looking for and signed the log. Thanks heaps for the cache and showing us this walk 49rs!

Great day for a walk but geopup wasn't happy having to battle her way through the blackberries. Good hide, cache nice and dry TFTC.

Easier then I thought grate walking track I live in snells beach my self but never bean to that walk track

Came in from Hamilton Road end and wandered along the newly formed track. Found the cache ok but also found a steer upside down in a water gully and so then had to undergo a rescue mission to find the owners. Found a house close by that had similar animals in the paddock so approached the resident to see if they knew who owned the stock nearby. He was a bit of a mad chicken farmer who we are sure was not wearing anything under his shirt and gave him directions as to the beast. Always an adventure out caching and this was no exception. TFTC

great cache!! i walked over a over a log trying to find cache and fell in river!! lucky the other half was holding gps gps went flat but partner found by remembering clue. shoes are drying out! will always remember this one

Neat walk under construction. Enjoyed the wee track thru the peaceful bush by the creek. Walked past GZ at first. Even thou I looked and thought what a good hiding place. Then when I checked GPS, I was 70 metres past. Good quick find on my return. . Will look forward to a return visit at some stage .

We thought about placing a cache here this week but you beat us to it, at least we were the FTF
