Well recycled and another fav point earned! We came down here from North Brisbane to do one Adventure Lab with artworks and one with bridges as well as couple of caches along the beautiful bike track. We found the cache and signed the log.Tftc Porridge19 and Brother Colin
Out and about with TBUBIKESU and muggle brother Siggi to get more smiles Tftc Brother ColinsA fav point from me
hunted for a long while in the wrong spot but changed tactics after reading previous logs and got there eventually. tftc!!
I was unable to attempt this cache last time due to recent rain making it more challenging to access and a muggle family playing in the creek! Luckily I had time and patience on my side as I was determined to find it. When I thought outside the box I rememembered a particular comment and then it was soon found! Thanksfor this sneaky hide!
Father and children playing in the creek next to the location so will return another day.
Coming after the rain meant the river crossing was a bit trickier than expected. I spent a few minutes investigating the site before my gut told me to check out something out of place nearby. Great hide and a fulfilling find!
Davinells had a plan, to reach a milestone by the end of the year. But that meant some serious caching, so Ive come to Brisbane where I can cache until I cant walk anymore.I brought the bike down and this looked like a perfect series to pick up a bunch of caches. This cache looked intriguing so I made my way over the creek and noticed something that didnt quite fit. Nicely hidden. Tftc Porridge19Find #4981
Porridge19 I found your cache The Pit Stop on 9/11/2023, 3:30 pm. This is my find 6222 and find # 24 today. Found the cleverly disguised cache. Took a bit of searching but found it. Sneaky bugger. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
A VERY unique cache... & glad Creek was low, as I approached it from the bike track side.... T4TC:-)
I found this cache when I did the On Your Bike series in May but I couldnt open the cache container. With the container having been replaced since, I came back today to sign the log. There is a lot less water flowing in the creek than the last time I was here but its still a beautiful spot. Thanks Porridge19 for maintaining this cache!
DNF. Ive no doubt its here but the spider webs really turned me off. Next time Ill come with a friend to hold my hand.
After my adventure with Cinta this morning and after dropping her off, I decided to grab a few more smilies before heading home.
This made for a quick find this time as I’m pretty sure I have looked for this one before.
Great hide.

With the youngest one attending his soccer training, i took the opportunity to head along the Gap creek bike path to try and discover this cache. Not many people on the track this evening. I headed off and found a pretty good rocky bridge to help me cross the creek. Then the search began. Probably not the best cache to try and attempt in torchlight.
After a while checking nooks and other nooks, I spied something and yes indeed, it was the cache. The contents of the container were all dry. My name was added to the log sheet. I signed as AWT? this evening. Tricky and clever hide. Thanks very much for bringing me here Brother Colin. Cheers

Be careful a large colony of bats nests above the cache! Wash hands thoroughly!
The caching plan today was to go for a run on the escooters. The first few were no where near the bike track so it was just as well someone left the helmets behind.
Headed over to this one and of cause ended up bush bashing for 70mtrs. There was a crossing 20mtrs from the track. Did not want to give up so kept up with the search and noticed a bright colour hiding away. Good one.

Some caching in the Enoggera before a night time event at Chermside. With patrol14, imbunda and hatzofff.
Well, that was a tricky one. A Favourite for the effort!
Log signed and cache replaced as found at 3:22 pm on 7 July 2023. TFTC, Brother Colin

Out with geo-friends to cache in this area before heading off to an Event later in the day.
We set out in two different paths and I think they both were longer than expected but we chose the low road to return.
A bit of searching to find this cache, log signed by all before replacing as found.
This was a very clever hide.

Fixed sooner than we though with thanks to our local buy nothing community, cache is now as good as new and ready for more signatures
Sneaky sneaky. Out for a walk with Rocket Foxes. Played with this for a while without having any idea.
Super cache. Thanks.
Super cache. Thanks.
Fabulous cache! Came back after yesterday and found that it was in the sneakiest spot. I noticed it yesterday but didn’t think that’d be it but it certainly was :3
Creek was up and flowing quick due to the rain overnight. Cant access GZ at this time. Will return when the creek is down. This was also as far as we got on our walk as the path ahead was flooded too.
Last cache for today and one that had been on my list for about five years! I had previously started this series from the other end and came up with a DNF here. With such a lovely location I was keen to return one day to rectify the situation. This time with a bit more experience I uncovered the cache quite quickly . All is well here. Returned Boulder hoping with a spring in my step! Tftc
Spent the day enjoying a walk with Greatgod86 & introducing some friends to geocaching! TFTC! this one was a bit tricky to find as the cache was not in the spot it was supposed to be in , but after some time and keen eyes it was discovered.
I managed to cross the creek ok as someone had made a little bridge but I spent some time looking in the wrong tree. Once I saw other comments, I changed trees and made a quick find. It was wet inside so I put the best logbook into a new plastic bag. Tftc #1503
With creek levels continuing to rise, we are disabling the series until the water levels go down and we can check/replace them.
This morning, I joined Ruzzelz' Reindeer/Ride Group (RRG) with a morning of finding the *Cycling the Redlands* geocaches series. The rain had magically disappeared from the start of our ride, and it was an enjoyable group session. I then managed to target a few older geocaches in the area before heading home.
In the afternoon, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I headed out and took a walk along Enoggera Creek in The Gap, finding a few of the *On Your Bike* series from #11 to #6. Again, the rain stayed away long enough to have a decent walk along this stretch whilst passing by many muggles similarly enjoying the afternoon.
We parked at The Gap Football Club, and then took a nice afternoon walk along the creek, targeting these *On Your Bike* geocaches. I had noticed this geocache on our way walking along the path, but there were a few kids playing in the creek in the crossing, so I decided to defer my visit until we walked back. This time, the coast was clear.
The river certainly was flowing well in this area, and there were barely any rocks that could safely navigate me across (dry). There were a couple of stages that I needed to take more risk, which meant I had an arm on a rock for safekeeping, and hence some splashes occurred, but I did manage to get across without a catastrophic wet incident. I then spent several minutes searching around GZ, making many loops around the trees wondering what I was searching for. Between reading past logs and looking around, I finally tweaked with what I needed to inspect, and sure enough, a cache was found! The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks wingaap and Brother Colin for the cache placement, and Porridge19 for its ongoing maintenance. A very creative and clever construction!
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Out for a day of caching with KerriMG. We have been here before where we found a great hidey hole but no cache. Today a cache was sitting in that very same place. So good to turn a frown upside down.

What an excellent cache! Love it.

Thank you for the fun. Nice location.

After enjoying a family picnic nearby we enjoyed our walk along the creek. A bit of a rock-hop and we were at GZ. That’s a very well disguised cache. Well done.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Loved the area with its rocky boulders strewn across the creek and with little rain recently the crossing was easily accessible with the cleverly camouflaged cache to hand. TFTC
Last time I walked down this path, the creek was flowing too swiftly to safely cross. Thankfully that was not the case today and we easily rockhopped our way over towards GZ. A potential hide jumped out at me as I approached and as luck would have it, a quick check revealed the cache neatly tucked away. Really enjoyed both the access and the hide for this one. TFTC Porridge19
A fittingly tricky tribute to the cache that used to be here – we found it a lot faster than I think we should have; it’s times like this you have to thank the caching gods for smiling upon you. It hasn’t rained too much recently, which made the creek crossing quite navigable, with all three of us choosing a different route across the water. The rocks were just fabulous to look at, with all the interesting seams of different rock and cracks and crevices in them.. We got to GZ without any trouble, where DisSister made a remarkably quick find of this very nicely camouflaged, sneaky cache. We didn’t see too much wildlife, only a brush turkey, but we could hear birds chirping and see insects in the water and it was a lovely spot to begin our morning’s hunt. A favourite point from me.

Interestingly, I did not remember this area after finding the original cache here on 2nd Jan 2009. That was a Wingaap cache called Fairy Dell and I was told back then by VWNuts, that I had to find it. I was only a few months into caching at that time. [^]
So, fast forward to today, I tried to attempt my approach from the side of the creek that the icon in on. That didn't work. So, with that corrected, I made my way to GZ using the path I was supposed to, then proceeded to scan the more obvious GZ for the cache. No joy...
As I glanced over, I spotted the bleeding obvious, immediately remembered the hide type and extracted the container. While signing the log, a family arrived and also crossed the creek, so I had to quickly tucke everything back in place before I was spotted.
On my return to the car, the area looked a little more familiar, but only a little. Perhaps old age is creeping in.
Cheers Brother Colin.

I am slowly collecting all of the caches in The Gap area, and made my way here today to collect this one.
Making the crossing with geopup, I quickly found the super cool hide - very clever!
Thanks Brother Colin for bringing me to this spot. I grew up nearby and spent a lot of time at this creek.

After years of visits to be unsuccessful. Finally found it today. Very clever hide. Tftc
Creek is high and running too fast to cross over. Disabling this one until it is safe to cross and we check it is ok.
Looked in the wrong place for a while before hubby called out found it. Favourite point from us. TFTC
I thought I was going to have to ask for help... but persistence and a widening of the search area paid dividends for me today... lots of hints in previous logs lead me to the cache, but in particular, the entry about it being an “art project” changed my thinking...

I've the week off work and as Sandra was working from home she agreed to suffer the geomonsters whilst I headed out to pick up some caches. I've had my eye on the caches over in The Gap for a while now, so having never ventured there, today seemed as good a day as any.
What a gorgeous little spot for a cache. Saying that, what a pain to find. Searched one tree, then another, then another. Nothing. Searched them all again. Nothing. Tried the trees on other side of the stream. Nothing. Contacted trippiiaus who was the last person to find it and their hint did the trick. I'd actually moved where the cache is hidden. I liked this one, very ingenious.
Apologies for the generic nature of this log. I attempted something like 25 caches today.
Thanks!!

searched the wrong tree for SOOO long it was blatantly obvious as soon as i realised!
Found the first find of the day and hopefully the start of many more signed as IRT and TFTC from the inspectorrexteam.
Rats! I was sure I was looking in the right place, but couldn’t find the little bugger. The tree that I was searching around is magnificent though. I don’t mind coming back another day to look again.
Didn’t try to attempt this today with Mayfly06 as it was very wet. We had a quick look around to see if we could spot anything, but it was too wet to do any thorough searching.
Loaded the bike and headed to the Gap for a good little ride along Enoggera Creek.
Managed to add a few finds and enjoyed the trees and greenery in the creek corridor.
A great hide here, unexpected in this kind of trail, the better, have an FP
Thank you Brother Colin for getting me out here today

A family walk to see how many of the On Your Bike series we could find in an afternoon. Turned out to be ten, plus a few others along the same path. Thanks Brother Colin and Porridge19 for all the caches

The past few days I've been thinking about going out and grabbing a few caches on my own. I was looking for somewhere that had a bunch of caches close together, than I remember out by The Gap had a good amount of caches close together.
Luckily I finished work very early today, so I had the rest of the day ahead of me for caching. So I made my way out towards The Gap and started at one end and made my way to the other.
Most caches were fairly easy to find, but there was a few of them I had trouble with. I didn't want to have any DNF's, so I made sure I spent a little more time on each cache just to be sure I found it.
I had a great day out and spent roughly 5 hours out caching. I finished the day with 27 finds on NO DNF's. YAAAAAY!!!
Sorry for the generic log.

Awesome pit stop. It took some hunting but we found it. No log book though. TFTC.
I apologise, I found this one many many years ago while doing an art assignment about this creek with the gap state high school and moved it as I was intrigued, it was the most bizarre thing I’ve ever found was not aware this was a thing till recently. I actually wrote and enter essay and did my whole art assignment about it, I did long my name I think 2nd or 3rd and eventually put it back after a few days nice to know it’s still around!
This gets a FP
After biking along this path it was nice to refresh in the cool waters. Bonus points for cache design.
Really enjoyed this series

We looked for this one a few years ago with no luck. It's great to change that blue face to a yellow one!!
While I am in town for a day or so I have completed a Maintenance Run of the entire On Your Bike series. Two caches have been replaced, otherwise all caches are now ok. Enjoy and happy Geocaching.
A quick find with Brother Colin as he does a maintenance run. Makes for easy finds when the CO is along.
Thanks for the cache.

Stopped off here for a bonus extra cache on the way home. Was looking a bit high to start but any excuse to climb a tree
Great hide when we found the right place though!

Out for a walk this morning after missing my lift to the Meet-Up at Enoggera reservoir. I did the trail backwards to end up at the Walkabout Creek cafe. I some how managed to lose the bike track towards the end (or beginning, as it were) and walked alongside the creek bed. Nevertheless, I got to where I needed to go by the end of it all.
Took me awhile but got there in the end. Signed log TTM. TFTC.

Out and about to collect some caches on a sunny Sunday. While we failed to reach our target of 35 but we had a lot of fun.
I have attempted this one quite some time ago when I did the "On your bike" series but couldn't find it then. Today we came back with 4 pairs of eyes, left geopup on the other side, and made a quick find. As this is a nice place, we had a break and kids enjoyed some rock hopping.

Such a cool hide! Finally found it - on from where we thought it was -only because my son had to journey into the bushes to relieve himself
