Initially Mrs Riddell thought she was in for a cemetery! No so at all. Certainly a Pleasant area, this pleasances!TFTC
Nice easy find. Love the container and logbook peaceful deadend Rd and its a dirt Rd so don't wash your car lol
Tftc kmps & theGGGd..Out on a fantastic morning to get 4 caches, then shopping in some local stores before getting back home. Quick find.Bell miners tinkling away merrily and 3 big piggies resting nearby.
There is a big tree down close to GZ.Fortunately, the road in was relatively clear of debris from the recent storms.A quick find here today with +Wife and EveTheStaffy. Gathered the clue. Thanks for the cache and the series.
Today, the plan was to have a quiet one. Then I saw a few new geocaches that no locals wanted to get. As such, I jumped in the car to go geocaching in the Gippsland hills, just hoping the weather would be nice to me.I'm heading back home, but there is still enough time to collect a few more geocaches in the Warragul area. It's time to look at this series again. Nice easy find here. Thanks for the cache, Rebel Acts.Hunter
Thank you so much it was so fun to see the pigs we found it I got a little red hippo
Out for the day with @smithiesoutbackback

Out for a Sunday drive with @searchingformacca and thought we could grab a couple of caches along the way. Nice easy find. TFTC
Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to Rebel Acts for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

Found this today. The kids loved seeing the kangaroos in the nearby paddock. This was really a pleasant place. TFTC.
TALLY HO!!!
TALLY HO!!!
Another one found in the series, had no camo at all so was an easy find, logged, didn’t trade, covered up a bit better, cows where watching so had to be quick
Nice peaceful area... would be nice to go for a stroll inside the adjacent property.
Internet signal was a bit weak out here. GZ is not at the end of the road. TFTF
Finally getting around to the caches within my 5km and wow for a cache that hasn't been found for so long I thought it would be hard to find but not so I think that it is possible that the cache my need maintenance and us a bit dam but a nice cache all the same

Distance from original: 55.6 feet or 16.9 meters.
Cache was still in place but the original coordinates were some what out, I am not a fan of micros in the bush so I have updated the container to a small and in an obvious spot.

Tftc kmps & the triple Gs. Didn't get me New Year's present at Yarragon, nor did I get one here. Got a few grunts and snorts but wasn't prepared to shove me hand down a potential home of snake! Next time!
Out for a ladies camp with church this weekend in Neerim, and Friday was such a lovely day l thought l'd head of early and have some time to myself caching around the area.
Found a lovely spot, so windy tho surprised sheep aren't getting blown away. This made me laugh...

We went East of Melbourne this morning as we continued our efforts to complete Victoria's Largest Sudoku. Along the way we came across this cache.
As we walked towards GZ, we disturbed a sow in her sty and she came out in hurray to see what was going on. She then decided that we were friendly and that we may have some food. Alas, she was disappointed. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find of this unique cache container. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks kmps & TheGGGs for the cache.

Finally found it, checked out the pigs and signed the log. Thanks for another one.
Finally one of my nemesis caches has revealed itself. It was not what I was expecting when I finally had it in my hand, and i'm sure i had picked it up pron previous attempts without realising what it was. Anyway it is great to finally have this ticked off my list and thanks kmps for the hint along the way. All in all, the series was excellent and took me to some nice little out of the way lanes around the district that I would otherwise not have known existed. Thanks kmps and GGGs for a great experience and a favourite from me
Once again came up blank despite hunting high and low. The gps is all over the place with wind howling in the trees so I was not able to get a fix on the coords. Looked all over the place and really wonder if it still there. Hunted with a fellow catcher as well and no joy. Thanks kmps for such an elusive hide
Couldn't find it, don't know why anyone would want it .. Replaced
and ready to be found.
and ready to be found.
A reasonably thorough search today including meeting the local pig farmer who was totally in the dark as to what I was doing, so a quick intro to geocaching and both he and his wife were all over the area looking, looking and all to no avail. He said if what we were looking for had been in the trees it would have been dislodged due to very high winds in the last couple of weeks. Will have to give it another try
Tftc. For such a little bison he sure has a big set of. ........
Cache in good condition.

This one took 2 attempts. Finally found it after we stopped looking at the end of the road!
Took a while and a read of previous logs before we spread our search area and looked on different levels- then I spied my quarry. Luckily I had the Walking Ladder to help retrieve and replace. Great cache.
Out for a morning of caching with Mummy Short Legs in the area to try to clean up as many Warragul caches as possible despite the weather.
This was find number 3 and quite the find it was too. We rooted around for a while, not finding any boars. I even had to break the hunt to run back to the car for tissues because the cold and wet was getting to my nose. On my way back mummy short legs started reading past logs and someone mentioned their ability to see it from the car. Hanging changed my gaze to suit i soon found the container in question and retrieved it (although wasn't sure I wanted to lay my hands on it really!!). Very entertaining, first of its kind for me! Favorite point for the creative container! TFTC

A caching morning without children led Kato Potato and I to the area and this was our third stop. We found an amazing wombat hole and some really interesting fungus/moss/lichen before I read the logs and obtained a handy hint that led Kato Potato to the find. That's certainly unusual and I wasn't expecting that. I will admit, I was expecting something potentially a little more offensive actually. TFTC kmps and the GGGs.
"I think I've taken you on the wrong road" I said to Ms Smokey-Bear as I navigated us towards this hidden cache. After a few moments we were back onto the right road and heading towards our destination...a bump in the road, a few screams of hitting a log later we were at GZ...but even looking at the clue, and hovering around, a froggy cache guardian later, we couldn't find it. We stepped back and took a look around in the pitch dark of night lit up by dying torches.
About to give up, I hear the unmistakable, "HAHA! It's here. I've found it." Well, this was a surprise, and after much joking around with said item, and a a signed log book, we boosted junior back up and placed it back into its rightful position. Very cool indeed...it was a ballsy move!
On the way back...we found the 'Log' we ran over...We shared a sad moment while we moved it off the road...A warning to all...there are many Wombats in the area which dart across the road. Please be cautious! Ps. I couldn't have said it any better BlazerTriaz. We have had many laughs tonight

What a lovely find at the end of a dead end road! Fortunately my geokid didn't recognise the container - I didn't have the balls to explain it to her! TFTC and the brain teaser to retrieve it Cache 3 of 6 for the day.
Hahaha that was nuts! We were looking around and around and about to give up when they hit me in the face not literally hahaha
Heading home late afternoon after visiting the geokids Nan, all where in snooze mode when I thought I could make this detour off the highway before they noticed. I got busted when we hit the dirt road. Parked right next to this one, but was searching in the wrong areas the gizmo was pointing me to. Left it too close to open details about this one, and only had distance and direction to go by (no internet coverage). That will learn me! Eventually found it with a laugh and now for retrieval. Had a way to do this in the geomobile. All accomplished and back on the 'frog and toad' to get home. Thats 5 of this series so far.
Found with taurus1955 and BentleyTB. A great cache to start our day on April Fool's Day. It took teamwork to retrieve the log and replace it! TFTC
A lovely warm day out caching with misschief18 and Bentley TB, The first for the day and a very sneaky hide. Found after perusing previous logs. Very sneaky

A great dead end. Even Geodad (who prefers to be a muggle and sit in the car) enjoyed this spot and the find itself. Looked in all the usual hiding holes. Eventually Geokid#1 spotted it. Geokid#2 thought it was cherries or possibly a bunch of onions. The geokids came in handy for extraction. They are the handiest tool we have on hand.

HaHa! Had a bit of a look around before it was spotted, and only then because I was cold and decided to put my jumper on! Thanks for the hide and bringing us here.
We got to this one and started searching but our GPSs had us going around in circles. After a little while of not been able to find it we read a few previous logs. Had a bit of an idea after reading one and a quick search we found it. We both got a really good laugh.

Woohoo my 2nd for the day. Spent way too long on this one, happy it wasn't found easily as the GPS jumped around like crazy and had me working for the find. TFTC
3rd for the day tag team was needed to retrieve this very well hidden cache with geodude#74
Found with Lilmissgeo. Cache in good condition. Nice hide, very clever! Took both of us to get this one. TFTC!
Had a 'ball' looking for this one. A very clever hide that finished with laughs all round. TFTC.
Hmmm. Looked in all the wrong spots for this one for quite a while. But it certain stood out once spotted. Very interesting cache!!!
found with Sixy2Sue
we searched .. and searched .. read the logs ... but just couldn't "get" the clues.
as we were on the verge of giving up ... omg .. they stand out like .... well, you'll get it when you find it!!!
tftc == a worthy one to vote as "favourites"

Another cache along the roads and trails saw us heading to this cache. We arrived from one direction and after a brief search the cache was found and pondered..er logged. We finished replacing the cache and headed back the same way discussing the cache name.
Our thanks to Kmps for the cache which left many unanswered questions..lol

After reading all the logs ,it made for an easier find !!! not that far off the road!! tftc and the giggle gps still had me about 8m off but knew it wasn't in the paddock !!
All was nice and quiet as I made my way to the dead end here. A pleasant little spot indeed!
After expanding my search area I was able to spot the container. Thanks kmps & TheGGGs for the cache.

Nice drive by with the recruits asleep in the car, quick find glad I didn't have to try to explain this one to them! Tftc
Did need another hint!! Prob because the coords where about 9 metrs out. But I found it!! After phoning a friend!!
Out on a cache run with my mate Sheppythekid, on a nice summer's day, that took us to the Latrobe Valley and up into the Strezlecki Ranges.
Took awhile to find this one, was concentrating to low, Sheppy's phone was bouncing all over the place, so punched co-or into trusty gps, but still no cigar. Read the writeup again and realised what we were looking for, had seen some on a 4X4 only two weeks ago. Soon had cache in hand. Love the hide. Cheers, BWBandit

I had a bit of trouble trying to find this one. I had a fair idea what I was looking for from reading all the logs and of course the cache desciption. The local cow cockie pull up and woundered what I was up to, as they don't get to many people down this end of the lane. After explaining all about Geocaching he finally headed off and I continued the search. I ended up PAF and got a hint and not long after a bit more of a search I found the cache. I would have thought maybe on the barb wire fence would have been a good spot for them.

This turned into the last cache I found today as it was getting towards dark, I had driven from lakes Entrance hunting all afternoon and I needed to get home! Parked at GZ which as described, was deserted except for the porcine muggles who really didn't care what I was doing and just ran away. Had a good look for quite a while before I finally looked the right way and saw the cache. Thanks to kmps for this one, will have to come back this way and hunt the rest of the series.
No not offended, but it did set the tone for the 8 & 9 year old and their dad for quite a while. sigh.
For a change I was on the ball and spotted this one quite quickly. I prolonged the search a bit longer while Mr De Ja Vu finally found it too. Certainly an original cache. Deserves a favorite point for originality. Now to work out the co-ords for the final cache in the series. Thanks for the cache kmps and TheGGGs.
This was a bit of a trip down memory lane. I had worked at the chicken farm just along this road more than 20 years ago. I haven't been here for so long.
This was a great hide, not sure what made me spy it, but as soon as I had it in hand I understood the hint!!
My last one for this series. Looking forward to solving the clues and finding Dead End - Terminal.
Thanks again for the adventures!!
