Day 18 of my fortnight+ road trip up to Brisbane and back to Blue Mountains. Half day left thence home this afternoon. Many GC challenges achieved, favourited hides visited, random selected geocaches attempted (mostly smileys). A beaut road trip in short. Some geocaching in Liverpool Plains LGA after another roadside nap. After two DNFs in Quirindi, lets detour north a bit for this. Ah, too many flies! Still a find. TFTC The Quipollyites
#6239Found this cache while passing on my way to Gunnedah. I notice my good mate, Brewmaker, was the last one to find it. Thanks for the geofun.
A quick stop on my way home from Gunnedah. I had to visit this one, as it shares the name of one of our caching buddies. Nice old rural cemetery. TFTC
Pulled into the area and who should be there, the Highway. She must have thought we stopped to check if she was ok as she jumped out saying she was ok had just stopped for lunch holding up her sandwich. I called back that thats ok were just geocaching so she knew we werent up to anything. She took no notice of us. Sat in the car for a couple of minutes got a call and drove off. Cache was found quickly but I did have to look twice as I missed it the first time. Log signed and replace. TFTC
Sydney to Melbourne Meander. Day Four: Gunnedah to Forbes.Weather: A chilly morning but otherwise superb. Its not often often that a church comes with a poison warning on the front gate or empty bottles of Great Northern on the back step, but all in all its pretty charming. The cache itself was an easy find. Im a bit confused - who is Wendy? Thanks again Quipollyites.
Gotcha Such a shame to see the building in that state. The stained glass windows will hopefully be saved before too much weathering TFTC
Found It!
Interesting little spot and a quick find. I guess this is a Used 2B Church now?

Is this heaven on earth? This church and cemetery are so cute, thanks for bringing me here after a long drive from moree and then some. Tftc
262. What a lovely big cache so I filled it with goodies from home. Thanks for bringing me to this little spot hidden amongst the trees, I enjoyed it
After signing the log had a wander around the grave stones. Interesting reading the inscriptions. Thanks for the cache
Found the area easily. Looked around at the space before heading to find the cache and in doing this, found the coordinates. Looked in a hidden spot and found the medium sized container. Signed and replaced back in its original place.
Cache 11 of 12 today.

We do like a good cemetery cache and this one didn’t disappoint.
Cache was found, log signed then we had a wander. Always interesting.
Cache and contents are in great condition.

We're on our way to Gunnedah today, it was surprisingly cold out of the car here, we were thankful for a quick find of a nicely stocked little cache. All signed and rehidden, TFTC!

Found today on the drive to Gunnedah, didn't find very many caches on the drive to Gunnedah but found a handful in the afternoon once we arrived...

Was a good find with the family. Took some small things. Left some small things.
A quick find. I picked up the TB 'KMCRV BAILEY's Traveling DOG and BEAR Show', and left a bejewelled butterfly. TFTC The Quipollyites.
Quick stop for another cache, thanks for showing us this little church. On to the next one.
Day 3 of my car trip through NSW from Brisbane. Today travelling from Armidale to Quirindi. I went to many different caches and thank CO's for their placement. Arrived at GZ and after short search cache was found. TFTC
Love these country churches and their cemeteries. A great place to look around. Took a TB, but not the one listed.
A nice place to stop, loved the old church, quick find by Wazza9, stamped log and replaced, left a TB to travel . Thanks to The Quipollyites
TFTC,
Heading home after the Qld MEGA and taking the chance to grab a few extra caches.
Love visiting and checking out some of the people who call these grounds home, visited trackables and added a favourite.

Another neat little spot to stretch the legs and grab a cache. Doesn't look like much goes on around here these days. Cool to have a look around all the same.
Thanks for another The Quipollyites....

#11230 - 11:42; Day 12 of a road trip with Sol de lune for the CacheQLD - Dayboro Mega and we are now headed for home. After spending the night in Tamworth, we collected a few local caches and then headed for Gunnedah to add another LGA area to our found list. Now headed east again towards Quirindi and stopped off for this cache at another old churchyard along the way. Interesting area. TFTC The Quipollyites
Easter trip away (in the hopes of getting into Qld) with fitzy_1965 for the cacheQLD Dayboro Mega.
After leaving home yesterday afternoon, this was our first full day of caching with the aim of heading north whilst county hopping along the way.
A nice easy find here today but took a bit to fish it out of its hiding spot.

Day 5 of what was originally going to be a straightforward trip up to the mega event in Dayboro QLD is turning out to be quite a memorable holiday for us. Every day has presented new challenges that has meant we have had to alter our plans and routes. Not that this has been a problem at all for us. In fact it has been a lot of fun and has ended up taking us to new places, just like geocaching does. We have likened it to being in a Donkey Kong game, dodging barrels (floods) and fireballs (covid).
We spent last night at the Premer pub - now that's one great overnight location! This cache was not originally on our to-do list, but a road closure on the Gap Rd to Werris Creek saw Google directing us this way. And we were pretty glad it did. What a lovely old church and cemetery. There were workers around mowing the lawns but weren't interested in what we were doing at all. We spent a bit of extra time exploring the graves too. TFTC Quipollyites, and for bringing us here.

After being in Canberra for 10 days it was time to return home. 2nd day of the return trip aiming to pick up a few counties for challenges with RoddyC and team benders.
Travelling companion insisted on venturing to this one. Quick find in a neat little church cemetery.

Stopped in to make a quick find. Nice and quiet. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks The Quipollyites. All good with this cache.
A nice easy cache to find with ilook4geo while heading south again. No muggles around. Both names were signed on the log before all was replaced as found. Thank you to The Quipollyites for placing this cache.
On a short trip with goingplaces2 and caching along the way. This is one of the caches we found. Log signed, all replaced. TFTC.
Was a bit hesitant to stick my hand in there but luckily nothing got it!! Haha
There was a cute lizard thing nearby!

Nice easy find on our way to Gilgandra to visit the Grandies so taking the scenic route via Narrabri , made our stop here through Quirindi which was my Grand Parents Stomping ground, many thanks for bringing us here filled the pot with lots of swag
After our trip to lightening ridge we are now on our way home. A quick stretch of the legs and change of drivers. Nice old church.
What a lovely little spot and thank you for making me stop to look at it. A shame church is no longer in use, but the combination of church, cemetery and wilderness is amazing. I was wondering about the flowers on the little grave just inside the gate, the baby died in 1901, neither parent would be alive so questions go around in my head. TFTC and a fav point for bringing me here.
Nice quick find on our way to Gunnedah. TFTC. What an amazing old church and cemetary. One of my favourite type of caches. FP awarded.
We're on our way home after a road trip to Dorrigo with our new camper trailer in tow. One of my caching goals is to find a cache in all 129 counties in NSW, so I organised for our final leg from Tamworth today to take us through 5 local government areas I haven't previously found a cache in.
This was my Liverpool Plains find and, thanks to the hint, it didn't take too long to locate. I was a bit intrigued to see a couple of graves right at the gate, when all the other ones are behind the church ... why will probably remain one of life's little mysteries.
Thanks for placing a cache here in an interesting historical location Quipollyites.

Found it with the help of my niece Yas and fulfilled some find a grave photo request while here
Found and traded a trinket! Little bit difficult but so obvious when you find it
I was so pleased to have found a cache in this County/Shire for my map that I replaced the split bag and left a PT. I am very sorry that your cache in Rose Lea Park wasn't in play. Interestingly I had just spent 3 days with the previous finders caching in the Bathurst area.

NFF by GLISS! Another county in the bag! So great to be able to travel a little during these trying times TFTC.
Avoiding Covid places and needing a time out from work so hitched a ride with Nibletricecakes and GLISS! armed with hand sanitiser and face masks, we went touring NSW collecting counties.
We started in Canberra and spent a weekend in Bathurst with the capital crunchers then continued on North and West before heading home again. TFTC!

Really cool spot! Took me a while to find even though it was in such a simple place
Quick find. Lovely old churchyard. Another date ticked off. There aren’t many caches around Quirindi.

Tamworth and Amrmidale Trip March 2020. Day 2. I headed north with Fitzy_1965 along the New England Highway towards Tamworth. Today we went from Scone to Tamworth via Gunedah. Some of the more remote towns had interesting caches when we could find them.
This was a long day cache, the first of a few on this trip, so I am sorry about the very generic logs.
Thanks.

Day 2 of our trip after surviving the night listening to the coal trains go past our camp site. Continuing along we arrived at this cache. A quick find once at GZ.

On a motorhome trip to Tasmania and doing some caching along the way. This is a cute church and something we would not have noticed if not for the cache. TFTC
With a few spare days up our sleeves we headed north with a view of grabbing a few caches to fill in some missing Northern New South Wales LGAs. With the cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache container and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache Quipollyites.

Day three will take me from Moree to Muswellbrook. Lots of caches, a few trigs and a whole lot of fun. Tftc
First church for this caching trip. Nobody around, so we could search undisturbed. Once the cache was found, we think the coordinates were a few meters off, but that could well be within the margin of error.
Found. We see these old churches but know nothing about them. Thanks for the brief history of this church.
Out with torches searching for this cache. A fun diversion on the way home. TFTC
We found this cache when it was getting dark & the cows had spooky eyes when we shined the torch on them. TFTC.
Our timing for this find made it a bit of fun. It was just after dark when we got to the old church & graveyard. And the torchlight reflecting in the cows' eyes was a bit creepy. The kids found the cache easily enough & argued about who would put it back. TFTC.
Day 2 of my trip to the Clear Waters Mega. Going from Narrabri to Dubbo in a non-linear fashion, to make sure I cover lots of local government areas. Interesting cemetery and church that I would not have noticed without this cache. Took TB. TFTC!
