Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
After two DNFs, I'm going to disable this cache and will tend to it in the New Year.

Quick find, fortunately not too vertically challenging for me. The wind is really picking up now. TFTC!
Quick find but holding on precariously. Log full and wet tftc nice part of East nowr
We started our extended weekend trip from Cherrybrook. Our first stop was at Lake Illawarra. After, we made our way to beautiful Jervis Bay. Here I was surprised with a beautiful whale watching cruise where we saw many dolphins and seals.
After watching the amazing marine life, we continued our way to Batemans Bay where we stopped at many beaches and many nice locations.
The highlight of our tour was waiting for us in Durras where we got to cuddle with tame wild kangaroos. An amazing experience.
Here we also found a cache.
Thank you

Found it! Great hide lucky I had geo hubby with me as I was unable to get to it myself.
Find Number 410 found at 10:17
Tony wanted to go caching, Gill wanted to shop. A trip to Nowra seemed the appropriate compromise.
This was the 2nd for the day. A quick and easy find, but a very exposed location. I retired to the car for log signing duties before sneaking out again for a quick replacement.
Thanks synapticmysfire for the cache.

Thanks synapticmysfire for the cache.
I figured that the cache kids would not complain after spending another afternoon in the nearby park, but they did. I'm almost 6 foot (one of my missed life goals - by 0.5 inches), so this one was a breeze. Nice hide, TFTC.
After reading the cache name and description I was worried that I might not have what it takes to find this one. I needn't have worried. Quick and easy. Thanks synapticmysfire. BTW, I love your caching name.
The damp day did not discourage us from our caching activities though some sunshine would have been nice. We enjoyed exploring the different areas particularly the coastal walking tracks which provided a challenge in terrain and cache hides. The scenery was totally awesome and finding caches in these sorts of areas reminded us what it was that drew us into caching in the first place. Thanks to synapticmysfire
We arrived in town mid morning, left the van at the park & headed out to do some caching before lunch.
Started at the information centre headed out to Greenwell Point then back home again.
This was a great drive through farm land & past the river & beaches.
The cache were of a good & varied type all in good condition.
Thanks for placing this cache synapticmysfire

We too have the same problem as Liv81 but psychokat came to our rescue here.
Thanks for the cache synapticmysfire.

Found with BlacknWhite. For once I got to be the tall person. Everyone in my family is over 6ft and I'm the shrimp, this was a good self esteem boost. TFTC and a sneaky hide.
18/1/2014 in Nowra with some time to kill with Liv81 so drove past this one...weird little spot for a cache...lucky I'm tall TFTC
Lucky I had Shadow! as I'm vertically challenged...interesting spot for a cache...TFTC!
I had just worked out the location when a friendly muggle told me where it was. I explained geocaching to him so that he would know who these strangers would be on the footpath in font of his house.
Challenge done...... make sure you stop and tslk to the wonderful woman she wont give you a clue but loves a chat and a gighle and is a little lonely at times. Fav place and met a new friend. Love this game
I actually spotted this one a few days ago but came back today with a pen to log it. TFTC
Attended location and looked without success. Checked with "Square Gates" who had successfully logged it the day before. From what I was told, a portion of it should have been clearly visible. Am guessing that it may have slipped down inside the conduit or been removed by neighbour mentioned in previous post???? Owner might like to check.
Our last one for the day - in the dead of night. Princess and Brave Akubra had previously reconnoitered but neither were tall enough to reach. So Brave and Nav constructed a human tower and soon had the cache in hand.

Quick and easy find, as I am not vertically challenged, followed up by a neighbour getting upset I was parked outside her house - glad I wasn't there too long! Thanks for the cache synapticmysfire
Rated: for Overall Experience
An early trip to town this morning to buy some last minute Christmas treats gave me an excellent opportunity to swing by here and make a quick grab. Last time I was here (about a month ago) there were a group of tree loppers right at GZ. No-one about this morning. A stretch & a grab & the cache was mine. SL TFTC
Been nicely asked by Manning Valley Mountain Biker to add a Favourite, so here we go!
Because we weren't going to go much further tonight we took a walk to find a local cache.
Not being too Vertically Challenged this one was quickly found.

2115 GAFF1 Took a walk to find a local cache before 'bedding down' since the car decided to spring a leak (need the brakes). Tried to leave a CSM, but it would NOT fit as well.
Will just bring through my trackable shirts.
Suitable for the Night Caching elective book mark.

This was supposed to be a park & grab this morning (even had a retrieval tool just in case). But there was some tree lopping taking place at GZ. Didn't bother getting out of the car . . . . .another day . . . .
After a half a minute wandering in circles here GZ was spotted and no challenge for me at all- a quick reach and cache in hand. Thanks!
Found late in the day, in the rain, and another calendar day finally filled in!

Found with J+J.au while grabbing some caches in the area. Enjoying a leisurely caching day with the weather just holding out for us. SL..TFTC
I had concluded that the difficulty would be either getting the logbook out (that always troubles me) or in retrieving the cache. Turns out it was the latter. Fortunately I had the requisite recovery tool in the boot - a wire hanger with a hooked end. Lucky to nab first go. Thanks synapticmysfire.
Took longer to retrieve than find. Created a natural retrieval device for those who are vertically challenged. This device is left close by to assist others.
Thanks for the challenge and the cache.
Thanks for the challenge and the cache.
I should have known (being vertically challenged myself)
This was going to be a difficult solo find! Had to get creative with my pen for the retrieval!
Encounted a few muggles taking a leisurely afternoon stroll, so had to sit in the car for a while after signing the log and time the replacement of the cache carefully. (Which again was just as difficult!)

Sorry for the late log, but I have been away all day. Just before I left for Nowra this morning (I am doinga 2 week workplacement there) I saw this one coming up and thought i would do this after work. On arrival in Nowra I had so much time left that I decided to do the cache before work and what do you know a FTF!! Sure didn't count on this one.

A good spot for a cache. Unfortunately there was already a FTF log so I came second. TFTC synapticmysfire TN LN SL. It has been a busy weekend in the Shoalhaven and a new cache to celebrate the River Festival.
