Found the cache in the last place we looked. Took a bit of hunting. Neat camo.Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumalated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Woden's day the sixteenth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. Not the easiest find here and took a bit of bush bashing to get it but I spotted it from afar and Freddo made the find Travelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the cache
Cache find 251After a good 30 minutes of searching we were about to ask for a hint when the cache appeared so we signed the log and thought that was amazing camouflage TFTC
A bit of caching in this area and I found myself here in this reserve. I had parked in Darcy Avenue and I suppose I took the long way around to GZ because I wasn't familiar with the reserve. I arrived close to GZ and thought, damn it could be anywhere! Well that's not actually true but it should be within a few metres of the coordinates. Certainly seems like previous cachers have left scratching their heads over this one without a find. Perhaps I was lucky or it was my geosenses. I picked a possibly spot and weaved through the scrub. I suppose an object of interest seemed out of place to my eyes and upon picking it up, I knew I had found the cache. Took a seat on the log and signed the log, lol. Yes, I wrote my caching name on the fallen log to prove I had found it. Thanks for placing in a nice location Earthbound Chief.
Walked up and down both ways, looked under everything, read clues, scratched our heads, waited for muggles to pass with their dogs....could not find this cache...
This cache turned from frustrating to almost giving up to oh, but of course once we found it. Awesome camo. Although I do agree once you spot it, it doesnt quite look like it belongs. Love it! TFTC
spoodr hazard hopefully next time.?? Maybe check if the cache is still there. DNF
Walked back and forth back and forth in the scrub out of the scrub back in the scrub back down the path. No luck
I spy camo! Today...time for many things and one is the SOLSTICE souvenir rush. One is for memories of time near the beach and wistful dreams too. And one is for "casheering" as my dear mum Mollie would say. After visiting at REGIS just up the road, taking a slow way home and enjoying the setting sun and chance to wander. Cache located in where directed and signed with no muggling issues. Thanks for placing the cache.
An easy pickup that I spotted from the path, thanks to some not-so-subtle camo, lol.
Off for another Friday evening geocaching run. Tonight I selected the Sandringham area with the nice weather and the bay views.GZ was a slightly different spot according to my GPSr and once the Scottish Terrier left it was a quick find. Thanks for the cache Earth Bound ChiefHunter

Hi there Earthbound Chief,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is some sort of issue. The recent logs may contain more details about what sort of issues are evident.
The cache has been [**temporarily disabled**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235), so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location, until the issues/s can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days,** so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.
#What you need to do:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache** - once checked, place an Owner Maintenance log and then enable the cache.
- **Place A Write Note Log** - indicating a date when you expect it will be restored.
- **Adopt Out or Archive** - depending on whether you want it kept or for it to disappear.
Full details for each of the above choices can be found at [**GEOCACHE MAINTENANCE**]( https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/Victoria) on the Regional Policies page.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned.
It would be far better if you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

We are currently travelling overseas until mid to late September and will not be able to replace the logbook until then. This cache will remain disabled until then
After visiting a nearby warehouse we had some time to kill before meeting our old neighbour's for lunch so stopped by here to locate this cache. Mrs Pooky followed the GPS to GZ and pretty much put her hand straight on the well camouflaged cache. After waiting for a couple of muggle walkers to pass we squeezed our names on the log and returned the cache. TFTC and bringing us to this spot. Maintenance Request to be logged for a new log book.
This was a tricky one to find. Hint is a bit misleading, but we used our geobrains to figure it out! Found the cache and signed where we could squeeze our name.. Logbook is full
Apologies, I found this unposted draft. This cache had us stumped for a while. We thought we knew the right area and tried a few different approaches but to no avail. We were just about to give up when we couldnt believe that we had found it. Thanks Earthbound Chief.
This cache certainly had us going for a while, after reading all the logs we knew where we shouldn’t search but somehow the area kept drawing us in, over and over. But of course that was not going to end well. We tried a couple of other approaches but always seemed to end up in the same area. It certainly didn’t look promising! So after spending quite a while searching we resigned ourselves to having to log a DNF. .. and then we saw it .. Noooo! Our GPS was certainly telling us stories. Thanks Earthbound Chief .. very clever. A favourite point given!
Spent a bit of time looking in the wrong area. Saw the hiding spot as soon as we looked in the right section. TFTC!
Too good for me after 5 minutes.
Couldn't have a second look as people were chatting at GZ.

Working nearby so I took a dash between rain and wind to go for a hint.
Completely missed this well hidden cache on the first pass, but got it on the second time around.

With a good eye you'll find this real quick. Definitely a little off trail though
*The Monday Melbourne Funeral Adventure #4*
SueHut and I are up for a funeral. We deliberately planned to do a few caches before (to be properly respectfully composed, not harried and frazzled by driving conditions getting there) and after (to "wind down" in order to have full concentration on the task of driving).
SueHut wrote the truth of it. So hard! So hard! So... oh wait, not that hard at all. Let the GPS get you close, then throw it away.
Thanks heaps, Earthbound Chief!

Wow. This is quite sneaky. You definitely don’t need to bush bash and the best advice from others that I read and that lead to the cache was to give up on the phone or GPS and use your caching senses. Then it actually is quite obvious.
Out and about today in-between a short shift at work and a big card tournament in Clayton today, deciding to go out and collect some caches before the rain sets in today. A very successful afternoon all in all with only one dnf. Thanks for the cache and the little suburb adventure.
What a lovely little park! My boyfriend is into permaculture and keeping things as wild and natural as possible so I've been learning lots from him recently. This little patch in the midst of the suburbs is a great example of how a little habitat goes a long way for the local wildlife! Thanks for pointing it out!
I must've approached this cache from the same direction as others in the logs as it was on my third geotrail here that I quickly found the cache... and the mini spider webs everyone was talking about!
Thanks for the fun cache and great location

TFTC Earthbound Chief! These parks are amazing & well maintained. We were caught out by a local geo-pup, who might have mistaken the rustle of the log plastic bag for treats! He promised not to tell, despite no treats, just a pat.
Well disguised!

Found it easier than expected, well Melissa did. Nicely hidden so not to be obvious. TFTC.
Loving the revegetation that’s going on in this area. Really enjoyed walking around here grabbing caches today. As previous logs have noted: spider central! I hope I didn’t displace to many of them, they’re so tiny! TFTC

Caching in the area today and enjoying the walk through this nice little roadside park. Found quickly once the GPS settled.

This is one of those caches that I've found myself in the vicinity of but been unable (or rather unwilling) to search for, owing to a high "rando muggles with dogs appearing right behind you from out of nowhere" factor.
Needing a find today for my 366 grid (almost finished, just six dates to go....!) this was one of couple of caches in the area I'd earmarked as possibilities for today's find, relying on the midday heat to keep down the muggle/dog-walker factor.
Once at GZ I found myself confounded by a GPSr that pointed resolutely anywhere from 7 to 10m into the middle of some fairly dense scrub, and despite the warnings not to do so I found myself "off the beaten track" a few times, as my search saw me drift further in. It didn't help that there are multiple potential "start points" around GZ from which to approach, with only one of them bearing cachey fruit, and as it happens it was only via my third completely different "start" here that I finally located the very effectively camouflaged hide.
(The instructions are broadly correct though - GPS is not super-accurate, you really don't need to go into the scrub, but at the same time you def need to take a couple of steps off the path.)
Signed the log and visited a handful of trackables; thanks for the cache and the adventure, Earthbound Chief.

After reading the cache page, we thought this may take us awhile. What a great reserve to explore and with so many people walking their dogs, it did take awhile before we were in the vicinity of GZ. The locals are very friendly and up for a chat, and of course their cute dogs needed a few pats.
As the GPS was having a mini breakdown, we needed to resort to our geo senses (never a good thing to rely upon) and yet Steve made a very quick find here.
Thanks for bringing us to this terrific location Earthbound Chief.

Been here so many times, all on beautiful sunny days, but in my quick looks I have never found the cache. Today it was wet and drizzling, and although this did not stop the many dog walkers here, it did make the surrounding look different; the ground, the trees, all took on different colours in this wet atmosphere. I think this helped me as I quickly spied the cache, checked for dog walkers and grabbed to sign elsewhere. I noticed another signature here before me today, could it have been that person I just passed? Thanks for the cache Earthbound Chief

Out on a walk, thought I'd check on this find from many years ago, Nov 2013 to be a bit more precise. It's aged well, and is in good condition.
This is still a very nice location and pretty saturated with caches.
**Thanks for the fun Earthbound Chief**

Great camouflage! Definitely looked at it a few times unknowingly before twigging TFTC
Disabled due to Covid Stay at Home restrictions. Will re-enable when restrictions ease.
Disabled for the duration of the Covid-19 crisis.
I was hoping to able to avoid this step. Although exercise is ok, beaches, playgrounds, parks etc are being closed, and we are being asked to stay home.
The possibility to transmit the virus by surface contact exists, and with so little being known how long viral RNA stays viable on surfaces why take a risk?
At the end of the day, geocaching is a game, it is non essential and we are dealing with a serious Public Health emergency.
As we keep seeing people continuing to search for our caches I feel the only responsible thing to do is disable all our caches to discourage this until the crisis passes.
Thanks.

Had a spare 20 mins, so decided to do a few quick caches. Nice hide. Thanks for the cache.
Well!!....finallly....This is one beautiful little hide! My GPS had me all over the place, and as previously mentioned, was directing me into the scrub. So many potential hiding spots!... eventually I shut my compass down, and open my eyes and used a bit of Geo sense. That was a better method and I came up with the treasure. Wonderful hiding spot. A good challenge. TFTC earthbound chief
TFTC a quick and easy one compared to a few others today. It turned up to be Mr Right this time!
{280} I had been on the hunt for this one a few weeks ago, but the GPS kept telling me it was 8-10 metres into the bush. But the description said "don't believe it", so I left defeated. It never occured to me to just approach it from the path on the other side. Whaaat?? My geohubby pointed that out to me. Gaah. And yep, not that deep into the bush. But it was no easy find, but like all good finds, persistence is king. Great hide EBC. Thanks for the fun!
Out with geo kid 2 and 3 on this beautiful Melbourne day in the last remaining days before school starts again.
A lovely stroll into this bushy reserve that we've never visited. We really love how geocaching gets you out and about exploring the local areas and beyond. As it was warm today, we were conscious of the possibility of snakes here. Geo kid 3 wore thongs of all things.
At GZ both kids make a quick find together. They were very pleased with themselves.
As they retrieved the container, there was a little surprise in there, a cute colourful lizard that jumped out onto the leaf litter below.
The logbook was completely mangled and full. Luckily we carry spares and replaced it with 2 new log sheets to keep this one going for a long time.
Thank you for the cache here Earthbound Chief

Spent waaaay too long on this one, though we did have to dodge a few muggles. Got there in the end though, very nice hide.
Managed to break a cobweb but missed many others so I could cope with that without screaming. Thanks for the placement EBChief!
Relatively quick find once we figured out the right path to search from, and navigated the perambulating dogs. . Not as difficult as the rating suggests. Thanks for the cache!
Quick find even though GPS was putting me a few more meters off the track than need be. Spotted straight away.

Searching with another geocacher but no luck. Very tough but to crack! We scoured the previous logs for clues but came up short. Will have to try another day.
I was in the area to find a dead premier in the nearby cemetery for a wherigo cache, so decided to grab a few more traditionals nearby. The main challenge with this one was figuring out where to search, because my GPS was swinging around a fair bit. Once I consulted the satellite map and deduced the most likely location, I actually found this fairly quickly, having seen similar hides before. (It is in fact a short distance off the path.) Saw a few dog walkers and joggers, who might have wondered why I was sitting on a log pondering the meaning of life, but otherwise the coast was pretty clear. TFTC
Out and about today collecting a few caches. I work not far from these so not sure why I have not done these previously. Nice cache and was a nice easy find as I put my hand on it

This was the first of the day. Good to see these little nature reserves still exist. Got to GZ and geowife spotted the neat little camo almost straight away. log signed and all back safe again.

Haha, dropped the supplied pencil and took longer to find it in the leaves than the cache. Nice spot in nature, interesting story about Fire rejuvenating the local flora and fauna.
