**Total find count: 447**

Out and about geocaching in "Mexico" with Crzymelly, the Geokids & HubbyandMrs. A few finds before hosting our own little event to meet a few of the local geocachers.

With @HubbyandMrs having a previous DNF they wanted to avenge, we approached knowing a replacement cache had been placed. Mrs came up with the find before we all signed the log, replaced the cache as found and headed off to the next GZ.

Day 2 of my Ballarat mini break and I loaded up the bike and made my way to Victoria Park. The weather wasn't really cycling friendly...cold and windy and occasionally wet...however it was good to get out.

This was my first stop and I was to be disappointed. I had a good look around and found what could be an attachment however no cache. Next time...

After an overnight stay out in the bush, I was now back in Ballarat where my cache finding was to continue.
I wandered over to this one and was able to make a quick find, it was a little lower than what I was expecting going by the T rating.

**Thanks to Glanville Girls for placing this cache.**

Tonight we made the journey to Ballarat on a specific mission to finish of the first D/T loop for both Sims_family and Neville_Devil. Ausfox; was also along for the support and driver for the night. Unfortunately we failed in that mission for but we did manage some good few other caches along the way, as well as a lot of laughs.
This one had us hunting for much longer than we really should have but with widening my search a little had me on the money eventually.
Thank you Glanville Girls for the hide. sorry for the late log

The GeoFamily headed off to Ballarat for a mini-holiday over the Easter weekend, and to explore more of the area than what we normally see when we're up this way (usually to go to Sovereign Hill).

Our last day! End of school holidays - back to work and school tomorrow! I spotted this one - love the camo!

Log signed and all replaced as found.

Geocaching has taken me on many adventures over the years all over Australia and overseas. It has also introduced me to a brilliant and diverse group of people, many of whom are now close friends.

Today I was lucky enough to be out and about so I targeted this cache.

Sorry for the late log, but thanks for adding to the adventure!

Thanks Glanville Girls for placing this cache.

**Date: Sun 18 Dec 2016**
A very early start had me in Ballarat before 8am for the McLooker's breakfast event, and then afterwards I spent a few hours randomly gathering a few finds before heading home.
A short look was all that was necessary to find this one. I love this sort of hide, and the tree has done a good job of providing some extra camo for it.
**Thanks for placing this cache Glanville Girls**

18-Dec-16
a nice quick find. We thought we'd try a few more of the series but sadly the next one had the entire tree cleared away... Hmm, overzealous council cleaning. TFTC Glanville Girls

Quick and easy find. Another cute container

10-Nov-16
We are currently on a road trip from Queensland heading to Anglesea for the Surf Coast Event next weekend Cool While we were here in Victoria though, we thought we would try to tackle some of the higher D/T caches as we need to raise our average D/T for a particular challenge cache we have signed the log for in New South Wales Surprised We are also trying to complete more of our D/T loops so specific D/T combinations were specifically being targeted.

The cache was easily located and with our name added to the log, we continued on our way.

Thank you Glanville Girls for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy Cool

Took geodaughter with me to let her find this one on International Geocaching Day.As i knew where this one was due to a previous search with another cacher I was disappointed to find its Camo cover was gone. Cache itself and log is still in good condition. Tftc Glanville Girls. Still a good series.

Found today on our way to the birthday event in town, where we caught up with the CO of this little blighter. We found some "Creature Feature" caches during earlier visits to Ballarat, and we really did enjoy them. This one did not quite live up to our hopeful expectations: It looks like it has lost its creature details, though the container and log are in very good condition.
This is one of only two caches we attempted prior to the event. Thanks for the fun!

Aww. Loved this book. 4th find. Thanks

26-Jun-16
I'm glad I checked the hint and knew what I was looking for here! I do enjoy the book but not so much that type of character! Thankfully it was boo09 who spotted it first. It was now dusk and we'd promised poor Muggle Dad that has to work night shift tonight that this was our last.. after such a quick find and sign, we managed to convince him to do just one more! Wink

I'd solved a bunch of Ballarat puzzles a few months ago when completing a 31 Day Mystery challenge. I had found my 31 but still had lots left that were solved but not yet found.
With the rain and snow holding us back on trips the last 2 days, I was determined to ignore the cold and grab a handful today while over to find Dory. Wink
Muggle husband and I decided to hit Vic park in the morning (kids ditched us for Pancake parlour with their grandmother!) to grab a couple before the cinema then afterward we were joined by boo09 and we headed NE of Ballarat city for a couple more and back to Vic park again. Despite the weather and time limitations, we managed 5 Puzzles and 2 Trads for the day including several tree climbs.
Home to PJ's & a hot choccy now! TFTC

26-Jun-16
After spending the arvo at the Cinema, my sisters opted to head home to the warmth while I stayed with Mum (becca85) and Muggle Dad to help find some caches.
We had a great afternoon finding some very fun hides despite the FREEZING cold!

24-Apr-16
We were already in Victoria Park for the other 2 caches, and thought we'd grab this one too. Unfortunately I think it's missing. Found the hook but no cache. Hmmm.

24-Apr-16
No cache in place but people still logging the find??? I'll get out there to replace this week.

18-Apr-16
Whilst in the area I came over here expecting a fun cache. Sadly nothing. Saw the hook that another cacher spoke of in their log. Found an area that looked like a cache could be shoved in there. Found some remnant white stuff that may or may not be part of the cache. It just wasn't to be for me today.

Today I was in Ballarat visiting Mum (Grandma) with the kids and we decided to go to the botanical gardens at Lake Wendouree since there were lots of children's activities organized for the famous Ballarat Begonia Festival. We decided to leave the car at Victoria Park and take advantage of the shuttle bus service in place especially for the festival. Well, I knew this cache was not too far away so after returning to the car, we drove around to the other side of the park to get it. Grandma and the kids were too tired to join me so they waited in the car while I made a quick grab. Having found two others in this series, I had a good idea of what to expect. I wasn't disappointed. This series is definitely one of my favorites, as was the cache. Another favorite point from me! Thanks for the series and the cache Glanville Girls - loving it!!

05-Mar-16
Found on a caching trip to Ballarat with Freddo and Team Waldron, after finishing the BSRT trail we decided to drive around and grab a few more caches, signed the first one and then found another one so now they are having a chin wag together. TFTC
