A very good hide, sometimes going with gut instinct is best. My kind muggle friend swap a carabina for the sweet butterfly. Worthy of a FP. Tftc
Met up with Peppa and weve come to Mt Gravatt with the hope of sighting the super comet, unfortunately the clouds had other ideas and we were not successful. At least I got to finally come to the top of Mt Gravatt and find the very nicely hidden cache! Adding another FP, thanks eatmorchikinFind #6558
TFTC!! Amazing Cache! What a clever hide, might follow suit and make something similar.
Kicked around all the rocks, searched the trees, GPS had us bouncing all over the place. Unfortunately its a DNF for us
On our Australian trip . After travelled from Darwin to Perth over the GRR, now on the Eastcoast .Starting from Cairns, Port Douglas, Airlie Beach, Platybus Camp and Bush Camp Broken River, Graignesh, Maryborough, South Nanango, Noosa and now in Brisbane .We slept near the shore on a lovely spot and then we met my relative today, I have never seen before .In the afternoon we looked for some caches with a lot of favos. Some we received from the event from yesterday .So cool made "box" . Didn't expect to look for such a "thing" .Worth a favo!TFTC# 18'024
Had a couple of visits previously without luck. I trusted in the hint today and it came up trumps. A very clever skillful hide. Thanks for the cache and
A good one. I love these oldies. I would never have found this when I started caching. Spotted easily now. I AM GUR
Took a little while to find, but as previous geocahers have noted...trust your GPS.Great hide.TFTC
What a creative hide, I only found it because I was kicking things around and heard an unnatural noise! Left a lil duck and some other cute things!
Found it after turning the place over a few times while searching Its a pretty sweet hiding spot Kudos to the creator of this Signed best budsFluffy and sloth
20 June 2024 3:17pmI decided to grab a few in the area today while I had some free time. Parking up at the lookout, I first completed the lab cache close by. I then headed over here.I don't know this area well and was quite surprised by how busy it is...many people in the carpark, slightly fewer but still many going up and down the paths. I sat close to ground zero whilst waiting for a break in traffic and did my search between walkers passing by.Relatively quickly found the log, signed it and replaced. Thanks for a good hide.
We were headed toward the city from the south when I spied this hill and asked the driver what was I there. Coffee was one of the answers and the cherry on top. So a little detour later I had a coffee in hand, a Geocaching Australia trig point found, and was looking for this cache. A very clever cache! Thankfully it didn't take me too long to find it. Thanks for the fun hide.
In Brisbane for the weekend with steeba as part of our annual pilgrimage for Magic Round. In between games we were able to get out and find a few caches in the greater Brisbane area.Had a lot of fun finding these caches. Thanks Fav point for me. Loved the effort which had gone into thisTFTC
Up in Brisbane for Magic Round (and of course caching!)- bit of touring around to different parts of the city.TFTC!
Out for a little bit of public holiday geocaching. It took us a while but thanks to previous logs we persisted and were pleasantly surprised when we eventually discovered it. Thanks for the hide
This one has deceived us in the past. New day and a fresh set of eyes, geokid and I finally found it. Thanks eatmorchikin!
25/04/2024 - 11:40Had an initial idea of what I might be looking for at first but on first inspection it deceived me. I was expecting something less real so when they all felt heavy and hard to the touch I kept on scanning. Eventually I made my way back to the spot on my GPS for a closer look and hey presto!marcussjd9#228TFTC
Last day in Brisbane. To spend a couple of hours sensibly before starting to pack, we drove up Mt. Gravatt to enjoy those views do the summit track. That's when we passed this cache and found it. Nice hide! TFTC!
Unfortunately the rain got us and after 20mins of searching our spirits were too dampened to continue . I'll have to come back another time on a visit to Brisbane.
Looked around for a bit at GZ and checked come obvious spots. I did not expect that! Nice one, thanks for the cache!Coolabah OUT!!!
I headed out in the geo-car for a few caches today.Decided to hit a few on the Southside.I found your cache, Eloise: Me, Eloise today. This is my 2605 find. When you think something is beneath you, take a look at the big picture. FP worthy .eatmorchikin, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
I spent more time looking for this than I expected. It seemed certain that the cache camo was going to be very clever, and it required inspecting all possible objects. (And there are MANY objects to inspect!) Finally found it and was very impressed by the work that went in to making it. Well done!
Aaah, there you are Eloise! I finally found you, cheeky girl! After my trouble here last time I spent some time at home reading through the logs and when I came back today I was pretty sure I knew what I was looking for. I still needed to check a few places and when I finally found it, I was still nicely surprised by the excellent hiding spot. Thanks eatmorchikin!
Today we walked all over Mt Gravatt on all the different trails, up and down many hills finding all the caches. What awesome views of the surrounding city and city areas. TFTC
Sorry Eloise I couldn't find your cache today. It must be very well hidden. There were lots of muggles here today and I ran out of time to have a thorough look so I'll have to come back another time.
What an amazing amount of work has gone into this cache! Took a little while to find it. TFTC

Thank you very much for luring us here as well as for hiding and maintaining the cache !Fav in ....../ ).....' /---' (_____.TFTC . In Brisbane for the NRL, decided to cache around A lot of favourite points on this one, had to find out why! ?? Lunch time on a weekend Lots of muggles nearby! ?? Ventured to the nearby caf in the hopes they may dissipate as time goes by. ?? Return to a bit quieter, easier to search now. ???? Looked around for quite a while before turning to the logs, had an idea.. BINGO!! How cool! ?? Have another favourite point, for the cache and the view. An amazing location. TFTC, found with Halflift ??????
About two years ago, we came a found a single cache on Mt Gravatt and in that log we said we would have to come back and explore the trails another day. Well that day finally came and we parked near to Snap To It before descending, then ascending, then descending in a different direction and ascending once more to arrive back at the car. A most enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours this morning. After a short break at the top of the hill, we began our way back down in this direction and, after perusing the information board, started our search for this cache. The hint was not very helpful to us here as we don't have the most accurate or stable of GPSs so had to rely on geosenses instead. Mr DisSister stepped over something that I thought should have further inspection and lo and behold, there was the cache. After appreciating the effort of construction, we replaced and continued onwards. Thanks eatmorchikin
Damn, really wanted to find this but felt like a dinghole, poking ariund the scrub while everyone using the track next to me haha Maybe next time.
Found it with kathyyyyyl. Our 2nd attempt and we found it. Didnt know why we missed it last time. TFTC. No wonder its so many people’s favourite! TFTC
TFTC!! So excited that 9fay127 and I managed to turn this to a smiley face as last attempt was an epic fail. Leaving a favourite point for all those efforts CO made to create the cache! Great hide and also love the view at the lookout:)
A friend was having a surprise milestone birthday party and a trip to Brisbane was required to attend.
After accidentally (on purpose), booking my flights a few days earlier, it was time to do some pre party caching around town.
After a successful dinner event last night, (a not so successful State of Origin game though from what I hear), it was time to head south. The Gold Coast, Byron Bay, and everything in between!
This was one of the caches on the target list. A clever hide here at GZ. I can see why it has so many favourites, one of which I will happily add to this cache.
Thanks eatmorchikin for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

Found with PrezDough today. We were up here having a look out and seeing the surrounds of Greater Brisbane.
This one had us a bit stumped and despite looking at the usual suspects, nothing revealed itself.
The iPhone GPS wasn’t really great and was jumping around a tad no doubt to the tree cover above.
I had actually given up and wanted to DNF it, when I thought “I’ll just check this spot” and boooooyaaar, there it was.
Awesome.
So the business done and off we went.
I visited 3 TB.

SaintsMadHouse and I were on one of our usual days of Wednesday Madness. We decided to tackle a few caches around this neck of the woods today, and although SaintsMadHouse had already done this one, this was to be the first of day, for my benefit. We parked up at the lookout and I wondered why I didn’t get this one when I was here for an event a few years back.
Today tho, a short wander and we were at GZ where it only took a moment or two to make the find , however it was on the second go of the specific location. How did I miss that the first time?!
Thanks for the cache eatmorchikin.

Wonderful cache! The trickiest part was logging it with all the muggles around
Wow!!!!!!! What a hide! Did not find it when we were in Brisbane 5 years ago, but this time we got the ! Very well done!!!
This was supposed to be my 2000 but had leave and come back to this with fresh look- on the return straight to it- tftc
Neat hide . Over the Southside of town this morning for geo adventures with friends. TFTC
Awesome hide, a fav point for sure! We were looking too small to start with.
Visiting Brisbane with Anne of Green Gables 2. She came down to find this one whilst I checked out the view. When I arrived she still hadn’t found it and I said, did you check here and sure enough it was

As reports stated this cache container had broken so I made it up here today to replace it. I also dropped off a TB I picked up recently in New Zealand. Cache has done a bit of creep so until it is moved back to it's original site, here are the new co-ords.
Coordinates changed from:

What a clever hide! Thanks for the fantastic cache! Almost didn’t find it but accidentally touched something and what do you know! Amazing!
Awesome hide! I initially ignore little miss 5s request to look in the hiding spot. After about 30 minutes of looking we found it. Well done! Excellent cache.
To other GCs - it’s here - but the container is in a bit of bad shape.
