I was caching in Rushworth today and had plenty of time left so I decided to target this series in Whroo. There were some great containers a few different ones too which mixed it up a bit. Mostly park and a short walk to GZ which helped get my numbers up for the day. Great little series TFTC Roman
Camping weekend with day1976, I do love the old mining areas! We did this whole series, no DNF's! Nice to have some of these further into the bush.
This is one of many geocaches that I have found over the last 12 months, but have not got around to logging. Sorry for the generic log. Just catching up now.
Found with Bogonghazy on our way home from a weeks holiday at Numurkah. Thanks for placing the geocache
Quick find with LittleBoss2 while heading back to Bendigo. Thanks Romax, always a pleasure finding your caches

21 caches over a 2 hour bike ride; thanks for these caches Romax (and apologies for the repetitive logs. . . first time we've smashed so many caches, too many to individually log!)
Found while in the area visiting family.
This was a spot we had never explored before.
It was fantastic weather to be here geocaching too.
Thanks for placing the geocache for us to find.

Heading home form Benalla we took the long way, of coarse, scouting out unfound caches along the way. We noticed the Whroo series on our map and made the decision to make our way through the Whroo Nature Reserve to collect the series.
An enjoyable time was had as we found various different hides in the stunning bushland setting. Having the area pretty much to ourselves with only 2 cars passing us, we were able to make each and every find safely without the prying eyes of muggles.
Thanks Romax for the fun series and WazzaAndWenches for maintaining the caches for us to enjoy.

School holidays are upon us so TeamClarmensma (myself and my kids AdamSistema & LukeSistema, and becca85 and her kids neisha07 & boo09) reformed for some geocaching fun targeting Rushworth, Whroo & Bendigo. I did the majority of running to these and boy they are a great workout. Hit my step count easily! Ha ha. All were easy finds in beautiful spots. Thanks for a great series.
Away for the weekend with Happy pants and omegaman1971. We were heading to Shepparton to do some caching, in an area we hadn't been before.
Many laughs and fun were had over the time, along with a variety hides found in some different areas.
Another quick find along this trail.
Thanks WazzaAndWenches for placing the cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy the find.

A lovely morning but it did get a bit warmer (a little too warm). I thought that it would be a good day to finish this series. I started to do so a few weeks ago but lost signal on my phone so I brought along the trusty GPSr for the trip today.

After paddling around Lake Nagambie yesterday, I needed a break, and with high winds, it added to my decision not to go back again today. So I headed to Whroo and surrounds for some terra firma caching.
My thanks for the cache, Romax.

While staying at the Elmore Events Centre for a week+ attending a CMCA Rally, I have been touring the area eash day finding caches wherever I can. I found this one on a drive South through Rushworth Along with the other in the WHROO PT. TFTC.
Good to see that the caches in this series are hidden where there is little undergrowth, with accurate coords and swags of goodies for mini cachers. This one is being guarded by a triceratops!
This was a very enjoyable series. We appreciated walking in open forest areas where there was no or very little undergrowth. This is very different to home which there is much more dense undergrowth, often limiting vision to 1 or 2 metres. Each of the hides were well considered and the cache sizes were good, although we thought that some of the regulars were actually small. We were fortunate to be looking for these caches in fine weather with no wind.
Accurate coordinates and a logical hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Romax for this cache and a very enjoyable series.

We found this one today as we proceeded back into the Whroo Forest to finish off this series by Romax, it was completed after we had grabbed the two multis near the old Balaclava mine site. After a little quick search we had this one in hand and log duly signed and returned. TFTC inspectorrexteam
Found this cache as part of a 2 day caching trip, staying in a gypsy wagon in echuca overnight.
The series is set in a beaut ironbark forest, my mudbrick house has utilized the ironbark in the window & door frames, a very nice looking timber. So many memories for me. Thank you Romax for the memories & cache.

Cool 32° Out on geocaching adventure today with Sorceysal and 6hinemoa2 (signed as 60S to save log space) part of a Whroo series. TFTC Cheers
Out and about with 6hinemoa2 and 08151605 (signed as 60S to save log space) with the aim to complete this series. Great roads with no one else around made for easy parking. With the temperature rising, it was a relief to get back to the car after each walk. Thanks Romax for placing this series so we could visit this lovely area
Out this way on a fun packed geocaching expedition with sorceysal and 08151605 to collect this series of caches.
We enjoyed the area and the variety of hides. It was nice to drive along well maintained roads.
The day was very hot though so the welcome relief of the air conditioned car was highly sought after.
Thanks for placing the series for us to enjoy Romax

On our way to visit family we attempted to do some drivebys, relying on the car air conditioning to keep us going in this incredible heat. This trail provided some great variety on nice quiet roads. Thanks for an enjoyable cache.
While staying in the nearby camping area, we decided to follow this run of caches and had a fun afternoon. We very soon recognised the preferred type of hiding place (with a few exceptions) and the distance from the road varied a bit, but it was all good. Some tracks off the main road came in handy too. Each log had our name noted and was replaced in position before we moved on to the next location. Many thanks go to Romax for this nice series of caches.
Camped near here and went out for an afternoon's caching with goingplaces 2 and enjoyed this run of caches. Was able to complete the series. TFTC.
Out for a drive today with 2beez and 2A's. A lovely area. All caches in good condition.
Nice to also see good swaps for kids. Left swap.

TFTC out with Crack n Lee Lee & 2As for the day exploring the area & getting a few caches. Interesting area
This series had been on my to do list for way too long.
I was saving them for a rainy day but temptation got the better of me and I snagged the lot instead of mowing my lawns.
I had a blast with the whole series but no prize for guessing which one got my favourite point.
Thanks for the series Romax (&maintenance crew) it made for a very enjoyable day out. Sorry for the generic log. You deserve better.

Hi there WazzaAndWenches.
We found your cache **"WHROO #19"** today. (This makes our find count 19087).
Today we headed out from Bendigo so we could attempt the "WHROO"series, plus any others we came across on our travels. We started at #21 & from there we proceeded to log caches up to #1 before heading back to camp. We thoroughly enjoyed today's cache finds. Please excuse our boilerplate-like logs - but they're not all exactly the same. [:(!]
We found 28 caches today & DNF'd 0. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found most caches within a few metres of where our GPS said we should be looking. [:(!] We found this one around 6m away. [:(!]
**Cache Condition:** The containers and log books were all in good shape.
**Took:** Perished Balloons
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny

I swapped the plastic bag around the log so it could withstand another winter or two. This was a good place to hide the cache. Thanks for the wonderful series I’m enjoying this afternoon.
Nice day for a cache ad using my sons modern motorbike (not my old one) it made it nice and easy to find the rest of these caches numbers 7 to 21, TFTC
Another find. This is a great drive by series but with the added bonus of getting in touch with this beautiful bush setting. TFTC
Sorry for generic logs here, but these caches were what we'd hope to call easy and straight forward, but were we ever wrong. The day was hot and it proved to be a hard slog, with caches in the bush a bit more than the 'drive by' caches we had thought. Reflected heat from the rocky clay took its toll, but we managed the whole series.
Thanks Romax, all caches collected by two weary cachers. Thank you.
