I was caching in Rushworth today and had plenty of time left so I decided to target this series in Whroo. There were some great containers a few different ones too which mixed it up a bit. Mostly park and a short walk to GZ which helped get my numbers up for the day. Great little series TFTC Roman

Heading home form Benalla we took the long way, of coarse, scouting out unfound caches along the way. We noticed the Whroo series on our map and made the decision to make our way through the Whroo Nature Reserve to collect the series.
An enjoyable time was had as we found various different hides in the stunning bushland setting. Having the area pretty much to ourselves with only 2 cars passing us, we were able to make each and every find safely without the prying eyes of muggles.
Thanks Romax for the fun series and WazzaAndWenches for maintaining the caches for us to enjoy.

School holidays are upon us so TeamClarmensma (myself and my kids AdamSistema & LukeSistema, and becca85 and her kids neisha07 & boo09) reformed for some geocaching fun targeting Rushworth, Whroo & Bendigo. Had a awesome weekend full of laughs and finding some great caches.
Unfortunately we did have some DNF's.
Really enjoyed the trail and the different types of containers.
Logging as Happy man.
Cheers for the fun cache.

Should have saved them to an offline list! Using geocaching knowledge we narrowed down the likely suspect and soon had cache in hand

This was a very enjoyable series. We appreciated walking in open forest areas where there was no or very little undergrowth. This is very different to home which there is much more dense undergrowth, often limiting vision to 1 or 2 metres. Each of the hides were well considered and the cache sizes were good, although we thought that some of the regulars were actually small. We were fortunate to be looking for these caches in fine weather with no wind.

Accurate coordinates and a logical hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Romax for this cache and a very enjoyable series.

Out and about with 6hinemoa2 and 08151605 (signed as 60S to save log space) with the aim to complete this series. Great roads with no one else around made for easy parking. With the temperature rising, it was a relief to get back to the car after each walk. Thanks Romax for placing this series so we could visit this lovely area

30-Dec-18
Out this way on a fun packed geocaching expedition with sorceysal and 08151605 to collect this series of caches.
We enjoyed the area and the variety of hides. It was nice to drive along well maintained roads.
The day was very hot though so the welcome relief of the air conditioned car was highly sought after.
Ha Ha not what you think.
Thanks for placing the series for us to enjoy Romax

27-Dec-18
On our way to visit family we attempted to do some drivebys, relying on the car air conditioning to keep us going in this incredible heat. This trail provided some great variety and some short walks. Thanks for another enjoyable cache.

03-Nov-18
While staying in the nearby camping area, we decided to follow this run of caches and had a fun afternoon. We very soon recognised the preferred type of hiding place (with a few exceptions) and the distance from the road varied a bit, but it was all good. Some tracks off the main road came in handy too. Each log had our name noted and was replaced in position before we moved on to the next location. Many thanks go to Romax for this nice series of caches.

This series had been on my to do list for way too long. Red Face
I was saving them for a rainy day but temptation got the better of me and I snagged the lot instead of mowing my lawns. Twisted
I had a blast with the whole series but no prize for guessing which one got my favourite point. Wink
Thanks for the series Romax (&maintenance crew) it made for a very enjoyable day out. Big Grin Sorry for the generic log. You deserve better. Razz

Hi there WazzaAndWenches.

We found your cache **"WHROO #20"** today. (This makes our find count 19086).

Today we headed out from Bendigo so we could attempt the "WHROO"series, plus any others we came across on our travels. We started at #21 & from there we proceeded to log caches up to #1 before heading back to camp. We thoroughly enjoyed today's cache finds. Please excuse our boilerplate-like logs - but they're not all exactly the same. [:(!]

We found 28 caches today & DNF'd 0. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found most caches within a few metres of where our GPS said we should be looking. [:(!] This one was EXACTLY where our GPS said we should be looking. [:(!]
**Cache Condition:** The containers and log books were all in good shape.
**Took:** Perished Balloons
**Left:** Smiley Badge.

Thanks for the hunt today,

Regards

Ian & Penny

I was led around by GPS before needing to use a bit of geosense and finding the cache. It must have been the tree coverage. Anyway, I found the cache and signed the log. I added a couple of items to the SWAG. Nearly at the end of the series!

09-Mar-18
Sorry for generic logs here, but these caches were what we'd hope to call easy and straight forward, but were we ever wrong. The day was hot and it proved to be a hard slog, with caches in the bush a bit more than the 'drive by' caches we had thought. Reflected heat from the rocky clay took its toll, but we managed the whole series.

Thanks Romax, all caches collected by two weary cachers. Thank you.

11-Feb-18
Was om my way to Kyabram and decided to grab this little series on the way, although my car GPS kept trying to send me the long way around from Nagambie, lluckily I had checked out the map before hand and knew I could get through, up until 10 K's from the first cache it kept telling me to do a U turn and I was still 60K's away. ANyhow I got there, all caches found it took 1 hour and 3 minutes from the first cache to the last, an interesting little series thanks for a trip breaker.
