Hi Blakey1,

This cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, only to discourage people from visiting this location until this cache may be addressed.

**Please note that caches disabled during the current COVID19 crisis you will be given some extra time to react as we recognise that CO's can't just pop out and fix the issue,** geocache maintenance can wait. Once the acute threat of pandemic is over, I will remind you about your cache needing attention.

Should you feel it safe for you to maintain and address this cache now, AND your regional Health and Governmental authorities allow it, please feel free to do so. However, I would like to assure you I will not be archiving any caches which the cache owner does not currently feel safe to maintain.

I'll pass by in about another 45 days and hopefully this will all be over.

I missed a visit last time so made my way in by 4wd to the parking spot and did the short walk to the lookouts. There was extensive smoke haze that did not make for great views. You couldn't see the water from the first lookout. At GZ searched in every nook and cranny and came up empty handed. I should have read previous logs before hand. Seems a CO check or new container might be in order. Has everything a great geocache has except for one thing!

In the Mountains for the June Long Weekend with Juno, and decided that we had the time and daylight to make a detour to this one.

The gate was still open, so I took a gamble with the slightly wet road and drove my Subaru in (without any drama at all). At the further car park we left off to walk the rest of the way to GZ.

We took lots of photos and thought about the potential for an abseiling trip, but alas could not find a cache to sign. Typical of our day really!

Cheers

A spectacular location that is not found enough by geocachers. It was a perfect day for exploring with our small party walking from the highway up to the mountain and then back to the lookout for the falls. These falls would be a worthy expedition from below and a challenge with a water crossing a rock scramble in a shady canyon. We had a great day finding this location and were well rewarded with the cache find. Thanks Blakey for placing caches in locations well worth discovering.

Long weekend and what best way to spend it but out and about instead of sitting at home.
Looked up some shortish cache walks and saw this.
Been meaning to make the trek out here. Luckily Felony1 has a 4 wheel. So drove to the second car park and then the short walk to the 2 lookout's.
What a view! !
After 20 mins of just looking and talking. Went hunting for the cache and found it overall quickly.
Defantily one of my fav spots for views in the Tumut area.

Found it! Took a while to find it. Not sure if that was because this was our 1st cache in 18 months or not.

We parked at the designated car park and trekked the 800m . A well marked trail soon saw us arrive at the first lookout. A few pics here and we progressed to the furthest lookout and GZ.
About ten minutes later we had the cache in hand and the sheet was signed mid afternoon.
Some more pictures and a bit while longer to take in the view of the falls and dam .

Would put this in the top 25 caches we have done and certainly worthy of a favourite tick from us .
Many thanks to Blakey for the invite .
Dont miss this cache !

Found after a pleasant but tiring walk in from the highway with grand daughter and her friend. Great views from up here always make the walk worth while and today was on different. Thanks Blakey 1 for giving me a reason to come back once again. SL TNLN Cheers 4 Now

Chooo ooo *FTF* on a snowy icy cold foggy rainy day! - Certainly that added to the excitement! Also added to the terrain! First of all, I had to get the car there - without chains! Then I had to walk 6km through sleet and snow! But it was worth it! Fantastic country side - especially in Winter! The falls were amazing! The views over to the dam were amazing too, but a bit foggy today! With regard to the cache... I'm glad the coordinates were spot on, as the hint was useless Smile Found it within 2 minutes! Favourite point from me for the excellent adventure, and the fantastic location! Thanks Blakey1.
