We know it was replaced recently so tried to pick it up while in the bay. However after a good search in the cold. We still couldn't find it and searched everywhere throughly.
Done. Over here visiting parents for the weekend, so after brunch mum had some work to do and she shoo'd dad and I out for the morning. What a lovely morning it is too! We decided to stop and get caches along the waterfront between the mount a papmoa. So with our 2hour window, and no quotas to achieve (other than enjoy a sunny autumn morning) we were off. This one has taken 3 attempts, as the previous 2 times muggles were making use of the facilities!
Had dinner at the same table and couldn't find it looked for half an hour feel as the tables have been fixed up since cache was hidden??
I came to Moa Park today with one of our School Holiday Programme groups and I was introducing them to Geocaching. With about 15 kids looking for the cache it was found quickly and I had to keep an eye on them post find to ensure they did not remove the cache from its original location. Hopefully some of them get into the amazing world of Geocaching.
Lovely little reserve for a Sunday morning park and grab. Quick find, which is always good as it doesn't look good hanging around play parks! TFTC.
2507 After getting wet at Papamoa I decided to check this one out. Sat in the car until rain nearly stopped then it was quickly out to make the find. Back to the car to sign before returning.
Found after a nice chill out on the beach and before meeting cousin Anne for lunch.
Thanks for placing.

Very windy today. So no muggles. Been waiting to do this for a long time, but usually crawling with lil ones. Have replaced log. Many thanks for another smiley.
Lovely sunny morning for a spot of caching.
Quick find but log is cracking full so had to over sign. Unfortunately we didn't have a spare log to replace it... Sorry!
What an enormous cache!
SL. TFTC.

Log was wet and full, nearly impossible to roll and put back. Couldn't sign, so took a picture instead.
Nice playground near the cache

The log was torn and partly missing and the cache container was sitting on top of the table. Managed to sign, just SH, but probably needs a new log. Replaced container where we thought it should be but might need a check by the CO.
Thanks Noodlekidz. Another smilie in the Mount.
Thanks Noodlekidz. Another smilie in the Mount.
Was looking too hard, took a walk and reapproached with fresh eyes and found it quickly!
That's teeny, tiny as!! Really full log book though. Nice clue. Thanks for the cool find!
Up from H.B. visiting family. While they worked I went out finding some caches. Quick easy find. Found just enough room to sign log. Cheers.
A nice quick first for the day find. Thanks.
Damn, picked up a cold somewhere. Not as focussed on caching as I could have been. Never mind, around The Mount and to Rotorua today.
Thanks to the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

On a caching adventure with tigatat2 on this sunny Monday holiday which by now was getting dark (and colder). Parked up close to this park where I had been before without success.
Climbed the fence with tourches at the ready to take a direct line to GZ and knew exactly where to go.
Tiga got to this one. Log retrieved with tweezers, and signed with joint monogram of TT2M.P then rolled as one roll to fit the container better.

A late find in the day, so out with the mob ph torches to locate this cache. No muggles out playing in the dark except M.P and me.
Appeared to be the cache as we saw a pecice of paper sticking out but it was wedged in and couldn't get out
Past here a few times but always muggles around..to day was great no one ...which enabled a quick find and sign thanks heaps for cunning we hide
A quick drive by with sarahbee20 today - no one in the park so it was a relaxed search and Sarahbee20 found it immediately. Tftc,
With kathykaches today looking for caches where we can. Rainy day so an empty park, which led to a quick find. Nice hint, thanks for the cache
Well, it looks like this park has had a few visitors today! We saw no moa, just a lion and a little pup.
We passed again the next day and the park was full, including GZ, so we chose the right day to make the find.

We've passed by here many times over the summer, but it's always been out of action - so I was surprised to see it active again today! A quick stop and find and sign. TFTC
Decided to stop and find this cache while on the way past, straight forward find. TFTC
No finds since last year and a string of DNFs - needs an owner check please, or at least disable until can be checked.
Been here before still no luck. Can the owner please either confirm if cache is still there, replace or delete thanks
First outing of our Tauraunga holiday. Looked under all the places we thought relevent only to come up empty handed
Hate it wen u see other dnf's as you don't have as good a look because you know others haven't found it. We had a good look with no luck
Ok after looking at the clue i was like i got this. Then searched all over what i thought was the answer an was like what i swear it should be here. Then i realised there was two others in the park. Argh. Found it on the last one. Thanks signed log Teq.
Out on an epic caching adventure with HKCB, iammrwalker and 11hpg11 as an honourary guest and the 'K' in signature 1HIK or HIK1 to make a dent in the caches of Tauranga.
A quick park-and-grab, certainly noone around tonight so not necessary to be stealthy!

This geocache was found on my third trip to Tauranga/ The Mount/ Papamoa in the company of HKCB and 11hpg11 with a plan to clear out the area. We were joined today by Kyb3r another Hamilton Geocacher who was keen to be part of an infamous ‘mad mission’. We signed the logs with an anachronism of our Geocaching handles, usually ‘1HIK’ or ‘HIK1’. There were plenty of memorable moments and a lot of laughs as well. It was another long day; I got up at 4am and didn’t get to bed until midnight. We were a little disappointed not to meet our goal only getting about half way through our list of unfound caches. However we did tackle a number of difficult and complicated hides. We found some great and memorable caches and of course now have a great excuse to organise another trip to the area. Thanks to all the CO’s who provided us with such a great day out.
A nice quick find for us tonight. Thanks for replacing, it wasn't here on our last visit to the area.

Another big mission for our little Hamilton team. Maybe this time we can clean out Tauranga and the surrounding areas. Our team consisted of HKCB, Iammrwalker, Kyb3r and myself. We signed the logs as HIK1 (or 1HIK as the day went on!) Another 4am wakeup and we were on the road by 5am. Back home by 11pm I think it was, it was all kind of a blur by then! We were fueled by Sour Patch Kids, B.K., Caffeine and quite a few painkillers. We had a great day with a large variety of cache types, sizes and difficulty! Thanks to all the cache owners for their hard work on giving us some great quality caches to find. We had a few milestones hit today and I think we all had a great time. Looks like we might be back again some time in the future!
Good to get this one knocked off, no muggles around tonight so we could hunt in peace and it was soon found. THanks for the cache

This is the 3rd mission over to Tauranga in recent months with 11HPG11 and iammrwalker to turn the place into a bunch of similes, but this time Kyb3r joined in on the fun also. An early start from Hamilton meant we were greeted by a fantastic sunrise of Tauranga as we made our way down from the Kaimai's, and by the time we had decided we had had enough the sun had well and truly gone to bed, but we did see it disappear while halfway up the Mount.
We found some great caches throughout the day and had some very memorable moments, and I even hit a major milestone, my 5000th cache find. We signed the logs 1HIK (an acronym of our caching names) or some combination of these letters to save room on the logs. A big thanks to everyone for all of the great cache hides.
The park nice and quite this even so a quick find here. Thanks for replacing as last time we were here it had gone AWOL.

After checking into our backpacker slieschke and I decided to use the night to find some more geocaches in town. Quick find. TFTC

Sadly I couldn't get close to this one...
GZ was commandeered by a local muggle with grand kids... Lunch was spread out and with the lovely day they were likely to be there until darkness...
So search for this cache was abandoned...
Took a great shot of the TB I had with me though... e)
