-------
###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
I've noticed this cache is carrying a maintenance log which really does need to be addressed by the cache owner.
The guidelines indicated that periodic visits to check on the cache, as well as prompt attention to any logs that indicate there is a problem, are part of the [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Found by Mary and David at 1025. Liar or lair? We decided that the wombat was indeed a liar as he wan't in his lair at all. We did find him close by, though, tired and broken, and in need of attention. Our thanks to cazza_thats_me.
Container is brittle and smashed. Log has been wet but is useable at present. We hadn't come prepared, so had to leave it as is, but added some cover to keep the rain out as much as possible. Needs a new container.
I climbed over a branch and snagged my pants, when I turned around to check things out, the cache revealed itself. Great hide!!
Eudes found this one for us accidentally as we were scrambling around. Signed log at 11:40am.

This one had us going a bit longer than it should have but we finally spotted it in plain sight at 11:40 just as we turned around to go (I think it was because we had moved its cover while we searched rather than any 'failure' by previous searchers [8)]).
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks cazza_thats_me Lozza311.

We shared the fun of this little series with Alansee and a zillion flies. There was very little talking as it was too risky to open your mouth! Not even the much maligned wind turbines could curb the persistence of the little Aussie icons. The wombat was out on the balcony, so we put him inside.
Our thanks to cazza_thats_me for bringing us to this location.

Found with Phetlern. We were all so busy looking for Wombat Lairs that we missed the cache sitting quite exposed somewhere else! All is good now though.
#808 - Day three of my trip down the coast for some caching fun! Today I decided to attempt some hides from a variety of cachers and not Gonefishen07 exclusively.
After finishing my first walk of the day and collecting 17 finds, it was time to go on my second walk. After parking at the huge wind turbines at the end of Campbell street, I set off and was able to find 21 of the 26 caches that I set off to find.
Thank you to the CO's for the hides, I had a very fun walk with what was once again a wide variety of caches and hides as the sun went down. Tftc

Found an unloved cache - happy to sit and have a rest - while pinkpiggy7 logs the find tflc
Lucky I didn't break my neck, tablet's co-ords were a bit off today, but found it after 5 mins
Well cazza I think it's not a wombat, it is a liar bird! It's in a tree! Noticed a wriggly stick in the cache! One about the same size on the nearby track yesterday - a real one! Thanks cazza. TNLNSL
Why does the wombat tell lies? Is it because the hide is not in a hole in the ground?
We like the fact you have provided seats here to rest on while we do the logs!
TFTC TNLN. Enjoying the series and views of the wind turbines.

The day was chilly & windy with a hint of rain, but geo-hubby still went for a bike ride to pick up some caches.
A good variety of caches were found, but a couple of logs were wet.
Many thanks for placing this cache, cazza_thats_me, in such a lovely area.

Found at 12:37 PM GAFF1 in the company of Geoge. Missed two of the caches that were late in being published when we were here last Christmas and so we took the opportunity to finish off the series as we were passing by. We saw the wind turbines from another perspective on our walk to do the new Gonefishen07 series, so it was good to be back to old ground.
Thanks cazza_thats_me.

Found @ 9:00pm, find # 3807.
Tonight biggles1024 and I headed for Wonthaggi to find a few caches, as this area has many for us to find.
This one was found on our 7.5 km walk on a loop around and back to the car.
Not reading the description and going by the cache name, we were thinking that the cache was going to be a lot lower than were it was hidden, well that's what you get if you don't read the description.
Thanks to cazza_thats_me lozza311 for placing this cache.

Find #1625
Tonight Stemicmitsar and I headed to Wonthaggi for a change of scenery. Finally a cache that wasn't a micro or nano. It was a quick find although I'd pay money to see a Wombat make its home where the cache is located.

I found this almost by accident. I searched the area and couldn't find it. Had a good look at the nearby Wombat's Lair. Decided to read the description again and then looked in the right direction and found it easily. However it was 5 metres south of the listed co-ordinates according to my gps. I enjoyed this walk on a windy afternoon.
Found with DoorMatt on a beautiful day of adventuring around Wonthaggi and surrounding areas. Definitely see the appropriateness of the title! Tftc
[font=Comic Sans MS][Green]I'm heading eastwards on a day caching in and around Wonthaggi with Square_Pegs after leaving Melbourne early this morning before sunrise. Later on, I got the opportunity to find this cache in good condition.
It's been too long since my last visit. Thanks cazza_thats_me for making this an enjoyable day exploring

This was a quick find in an obvious place after the first few in the series had me loking a little harder.

No wombats seen today, but plenty of kangaroos. We sl and took one of the travel bugs. Thanks for the cache
Another quick find with frmen1 & geoteens. TBs x2 found but not moved on. Blue snake taken, Tassie Devil stamp put in. TFTC
We enjoyed the walk along this trail - tree cover provided dappled shade on a beautiful warm day. We saw no one else on the trail. The different hides certainly kept us entertained. This was one we were able to find. Thanks to cazza_thats_me for placing this cache.
It was my monthly caching expedition with Biggles Bear today. With over 40 caches and only 3 DNF's, it was a successfuly day's caching. Found after a few minutes of searching.
Thanks to cazza_thats_me for the cache.

Slink1 and I decided we should take the ladies out for an airing so we took them with us caching today. Twas a great day for it so we headed down to Wonthaggi and surrounds balancing out priorities. We had a really good time. Many thanks to the cache owners for the placement and upkeep of the caches. TNLN TFTC SL
We took advantage of the great weather over the weekend and headed down to Wonthaggi with our ladies managing to check out a few beaches, dunes and generally had a wonderful time.
Really enjoyed the diverse as well as the difficult caches, actually managed to make short work of the difficult , luck on our side today. Overall the time away was very successful with the beach play and caching fun.

Melbourne parties Friday noon and returned Tuesday morning in Melbourne. I came here to make different trail of caches in the area. It was intense few days with my bike but very nice! I could find caches with superb camouflage, very good ideas from the cachers. This log will be the same for all caches that I made (sorry) But I want to congratulate in particular:
Nut bear & BorisB & Natasha for "Bay Trail" and "Red Hill Express" (Beautiful cover!)
The Three Amigos Geo for "The Pathway"
Gonefishen07 for the great "Rail Trail"
As well as other geocacher who I discovered several caches during these few days.
Thank you very much
Greetings from France
I will be at Mega event with my friend who just especially France also "Ckronos"

One of 70 caches found today during a day / night caching run. I headed down the Bass Hwy through Woolamai and Kilkundra and onto Wonthaggi where I spent most of the day. Once it was time to move on, I grabbed some dinner for the road and headed up north through the rolling hills of Kongwak, through Korrumburra, Strzelecki and Torwood before turning west, making my way to Lang Lang and then onto home.
The weather was perfect for caching and during the day I had just one DNF. I also managed to find a couple of caches needed for my D/T requirements. There were a nice variety of caches with some challenging walks and the trusty old bike came out on a couple of occasions. Plenty of great locations and some great scenery as well. Thanks to all the CO's who placed the caches I found today.
I had my bike with me today so decided to ride the circuit starting at 'Racing stripes' and finishing at 'Caz and Loz's cache'. I'm glad I did ride as it would've taken at lot longer than the two and a half hours it took me to find all the caches and arrive back at the car, just as it was almost dark. I enjoyed the ride and finding the great variety of novelty hides. The coords seemed to be out on a few occasions making finding some of the hides pretty tricky but I did manage to find them all in the end.
A pretty straight forward find here. Dropped a couple of TB's off in the cache as well. Thanks for the hide.

Found with DGFB geogran and ceebee. Is this a joint [ftf] after publishing. Found yesterday by gonefishen and co before publishing.

DGFB has had no internet since yesterday so was unaware of these two new listings. I contacted him lateish this morning, and I was quite surprised that no FTF had yet been logged. So DGFB33, geogran1937 and ceebee2013 and I formed a quick flashmob and set off to get these couple of new ones. When we got to GZ we discovered that both had been found yesterday by Gonefishen07, Anderka and Hearse 068 before they had been published.
I am a little confused now and being new to this game, I haven't struck this before. I am not sure if we can claim this one as a joint FTF after publishing or are we only FTL? I am not at all sure of the protocol on this, but none the less we found it while fighting off a million flies.

****FTF**** with Hearse068 and Anderka. Speaking with the CO's the other day they said they had put 8 caches out. I had seen these 6 new ones come up so tried to finish work as early as I could to try for FTF's . We soon discovered that we had been beaten by PPrass and DGFB33. Having caught up with DGFB33 at one of the caches I said that we knew there was 8 caches and we are going to see if we could find the others on the way as there was a gap in the middle. We had asked DGFB33 to join us but due to health reasons DGFDB33 headed for home and we continued on. We got to an area which was far enough from the last cache and with about a 40 plus meter range, we searched high, we searched low we searched in and under.
Not even sure if there was even a cache here or what we are looking for made it difficult. Hearse068 had decided after 15 mins or so that we had spent long enough looking for something that might not even be here. Hearse068 had started to head off towards the last of the newly published caches. I was just having one last look on the the left of track and I heard Anderka yell "I'VE GOT IT". How excited we were to find this one before publishing with absolutely no help at all but some intuition. All very excited about our FTF of this unpublished cache I took a photo of log etc and sent message to the owner saying look what we found YAY.
TFTC cazza thats me that is one hard way to find a cache am giving it a fav from all of us for the fun and excitement this cache created for us

11.06am 03/01/2014 -- 2nd find for the day - with dgfb33, geogran1937 & You_Can_Do_it_2. Group FTF --AFTER-- publication. Sneaky others found it before it was published. ..
****FTF**** Found with Gonefishen07 and anderka. Knowing there was meant to be 8 new caches along this trail and seeing a gap big enough for 2 caches we decided to have a go at finding these not even knowing if they where even here. Having gonefishen07 (who has 300 hides) with us helped. Thanks for the fun search and cache.
Sorry for the late log. Was in transit until now. I think Gonefishen07's log sums it up nicely. We were pretty disappointed missing out on the othe FTFs cause we had to finish off some work, but having an FTF before being published driven by intuition, geocaching experience and a bit of luck we managed to find it. TFTC and the memory.
