Out with RowdyTrain4472 and I am happy to report that I found the cache first for a change! The nearby farm stay looks like a nice place. The sheep cache guardians weren’t that interested. Or that impressed going by the photo I took! The cache is in great condition. TFTC
Down in Geelong visiting my daughter for the first time in months. With so many caches around, I decided to hit some groups of caches early in the morning before spending more time with her. I loved driving out in this part of the Bellarine. Lovely driving around and the well maintained dirt roads.
After a frustrated diversion, albeit in lovely countryside, and a quick find at the previous , it was nice to find yet another good hide.

I feel I could feel the close by residents watching me but didn’t have much choice but to park near their gate kids really should leave their bikes that close to the road.
Thanks for the adventures!

Accurate coordinates made this cache a quick find , all's good at gz Thanks cloud glider
For a second I thought this was one really popular cache but soon realised they were people visiting the Torquay retreat tftc
Took a minute, I must be going blind! Also about 4m away from where my gps thought it was, all good! TNLNSL TFTC

We were out hunting caches today with ilook4geo and this just happens to be one we put on the program. It was quickly and easily found, both names were added to the list of finders and we were soon on our way again. Many thanks go to cloudglider for this contribution to the caching game.

Down Geelong way today to find a few caches and just taking the backs roads.
I should have continued down the road the other day to get to this one but another day out is enjoyable.
A nice cottage area just down the roads as well.
Thanks cloudglider TFTC.

#3880 Always interesting to read the history associated with a local name. Very informative write up on this cache page, nice work. Mr BGF quickly spotted the dangling cache at gz and we were soon zooming again along Pettavel Road north bound TFTC cloudglider.
New the weather would catch up with us today and we got a bit wet finding this one. TFTC
Turned a frown upside down and came up with the goods here today. Thanks for repairing ️
Cache had gone, missing in action. Replaced with a new one, same spot, a larger container and new log sheet. E co-ord slightly adjusted to 144 14.000.
Spent a while looking, but was beginning to run out of time. Will probably be back
We spent a good 20 minutes looking for this one in the cold and wind using all our geocaching experience, but today wasn’t our day.
On our way home from a beach holiday and as usual I'm taking the caching inspired scenic route home. This one took a while to spot as it wasn't what I was expecting. I've seen this type of hide before but not quite like this, a nice challenge. Thanks for the cache cloudglider.
Cache and log check today. Original cache was on the ground and badly broken although the log in the zip lock bag was OK. New camouflaged cache and log back in original location.
We were heading to Melbourne to meet friends when they cancelled. Oh well, lets head home via a few caches!
This is the way to guarantee cache finds - follow the owner as he does maintenance! Thanks Cloudglider

Found by Mary & David at 1230. Listening to the latest news from Canberra on the car radio. What a significant day in so many ways. Thinking about lunch now. A quick find. Our thanks to cloudglider.
Only just realised this wasn't part of the trail - when I completed it last night it was out of place and the hint will not help at the moment. PM inbound to CO.
I had been hoping that this trail would survive to the start if hidden creatures, but I wasnt getting my hopes up. Fortunately it has so after kicking of with some finds on the KCT trail earlier today I decided to see how much if this trail I could finish off. Arrived back in Geelong about 6:30pm to a ripping fog and sub 10 degree temps. I managed to work my way from my current spot right thru to the end of the trail at the GOR, meaning I have only a few active caches left down Breamlea way as well as the final. Poor conditions meant poor GPS, so a number of finds were reliant on Geo Senses (some if them I was in the wrong side of the road it was that far out). Luckily, I walked away with no DNF’s although a couple were rather close. Got a number of frights in the dark, ranging from horses in pitch black paddocks to (im guessing) dirty big bats in tree’s. Even managed to come across a new type of cache guardian (see pic). Thanks to CO’s for a great series, it has been fun working my way through them against the clock! Will be sad to see them go but several are starting to get some significant geo trails, so it’s probably time.
Because this cache was in with the trail, I of course took the opportunity to pick it up while passing through. Thanks for placing this cache cloudglider.

Doing the Anglesea power trail with Flaggys. This is on it so we found it too. Nice area. Good find TFTC.
Working our way through the series before its archived with boydclan on a girls weekend Thelma and Louise style. Thanx for the long run
Out for the day to get as many of this series as possible, most were easy finds with a few requiring a search of the surrounds.,

Well life is really busy this past few month and TrailStevo and I who normally cache 10-12 times a month found ourselves on our second only outing this month. We headed out earlier than usual Sunday adventure as we were going to be exploring 2 hours from home. Ariive at GZ no.1 at 16.10 and proceeded to follow the trail south. We know if we get on a good run on trails like this 25 cache/hr is achievable and we were well on target after the first hour. After reaching the T junction we continued on south where we intended to cache our way to dinner in Anglesea. Picked up a prior solved puzzle on the way through and the Chocolataire multicache, wasn’t open unfortunately . We continued on the Anglesea (now 7pm) where the Charcoal Chicken place was just about to close, but luck us they mad us a Snitzel Burger and Chips and gravy which was much needed because I was starving!
Smashed the food down and headed back to the T junction for our home straight 30-40 cache heading east and home. Did get stopped by one local on this stretch as we were looking for the letterbox cache. They were not impressed with the Geocachers loitering in the area. We said we understood her concerns, then proceeded to continue geocaching….oops! Was a fun evening out, and thanks to all the CO’s for the massive effort in hiding and maintain this series. Found 100 cache in the end and finished up at 9.45pm for the drive. Thanks for getting us out of the house.
PS. Collected the clues, have no idea what to do with them.

Road trip. Saw this series and decided to pick up as many as I could with Gunks. Managed to stay dryish and enjoyed a food break at Anglesea. Another extra one along the G2A trail.TFTC.

Down in the Torquay area for the weekend to take our geodog Penny to the beach (and she loved it), and also to do some caching. At this time of year the weather was good to us for both activities. First up we concentrated on getting the caches in Torquay before moving onto the G2Anglesea Trail.
We started the trail at #44 and made our way back to Anglesea where we were staying. Most caches were easy to find, some a bit harder. Good to see different containers and sizes along the way.
Grabbed this one as it was on the trail we were doing.

The plan to do the G2A trail had been vaguely on the horizon since GemmaSistema & I had found a handful during Mega weekend 18 months ago. With news of it disappearing soon, we fast tracked our plans. After quite a few scheduling conflicts, I never thought it was going to happen but at the last minute we managed to free up this day, threw in a Wozzle and Perpetually Lost and off we went! After a dreadful drive from home to meet the others in Ballarat, I was glad to relinquish my driver status to passenger.
Signing our names was of course going to take too long so we used an acronym PBWG affectionately referred to during the day as Peanut Butter With Gelly so that we didn't forget the order (I may have read far too many American junior books as a child)...
The rain stayed away, the chocolate shop provided a yummy ice cream lunch (not sure if that was intentional or not) and we managed to easily complete our goal of 100 in a day for a previously signed challenge cache.
We nabbed quite a few extras as well. As I had found a few previously, 108 was my number from a total 116 caches visited.
A great day spent with friends grabbing a variety of cache types, a quick beach visit, lots of laughs and a lot more yellow on our maps.
Thanks to all who contributed.

I had spent Easter holidays at Angelsea this year but as the wife and daughter lean more towards the muggle side of the ledger I hadn't worried too much about doing this series at that time. But when that news came out that it was time to archive this series I thought my chance to find any of them had gone. Later on the FB pages GemmaSistema and Becca85 were conversing how they would love to do it before they were shut down. They also wanted Wozzle68 to join in the fun too. I asked them that if they decided to do it I would love to join in.
So plans were made early this week to meet up and have a crack at 100 caches for the day with these and other caches we may happen to drive near. So today was the day we decided to find as many as we could. With Wozzle driving, Bec navigating and Gemma and myself running we were ready to go. The other thing was how can we sign the logs quickly to keep us moving along. So we put our initials together and Becca85 says "Peanut Butter With Gelly" so our team name is PBWG!
It was a great day, lots of laughs and stories, we only had one DNF which wasn't part of the nearby series, a visit to the beach with an EC, and ice cream at the chocolate shop for lunch! Personally I smashed out a new daily cache record with about 115 caches for the day.
Thx Cloudglider for placing a cache here for us to find . A great day had by us all!

A big day of caching was planned today to chase down and find the caches in the Geelong 2 Anglesea trail. We also managed to find a few extras along the way! The team consisted of PerpetuallyLost, becca85, wozzle68 and GemmaSistema (Peanut Butter With Gelly is how we signed the log - or PBWG)! We had a fab time. Some great laughs and chatter along the way and some neat hides and great views. Thanks so much for all your efforts in placing these caches for us to find and enjoy.
Out for Mother's Day caching and trying to finish this trail before it is archived. We started back at the Surf Coast event and return today to complete it (maybe...)
We are trying to finish the power trail before it gets taken down. Its quiet and theres nobody on the road. Thanks for the cache Geocaching.Geelong

What an interesting little building nearby, it looked like some kind of guard house.
We headed here to further explore the area and pick up some caches as we made our way around. The weather was perfect on this bright sunny day and all in all it was a great adventure.
