Had a quick look with mp-tp, but there were muggles all over the seat and GZ. It could still be there, but with the combination of high muggle activity, and the desire not to lie down on the city pavement, finds are not very common
Love the read about the history very intresting thanks....too many sleeping muggles today had a quick look but couldn't find it with out waking up the bears
Came back after the bears had moved on to forage ...no cache to be found...agree with maintenance check
Returned here after logging a smiley with some other geocacher's who wanted to log this cache, only to find it was missing from the location I had first found it. Have contacted the OP for a check.
A muggle sleeping right on the spot I thought it was, had looked everywhere else
This should be how many people can sleep on the benches! Will be back to sign log later when the sleeping beauties go
Too bad i did not made it to find this the only cache in southwest australia i was able to look for.
Too much mugglers and too less time. Departing for sweden and it is unlikely i come back even thou i'd like to. St Andrews is a nice cathedral! Hold my thumbs for to get a second chance.

My partner and I thought we would have a crack at this one after being down at Event cinemas on George St tonight. Unfortunately it wasn't a great night as it was raining so we weren't really able to get down and look for it! We gave after 15mins to take our train home but hopefully will be back for this one when we have some more time on our hands and the weather is better. Loved the location of this cache though
I was meant to save this cache for this weekend but was in the area today and could not help myself. The area was covered in sitting muggles (probably because it was around lunch time) but luckily the exact spot I needed to look was empty. Despite the high activity, not a single person looked towards the strange person reaching down where they shouldn't, even as my friend said rather loudly 'you found it?' they remained oblivious. SL Cache returned nice and safely.
Never knew Town Hall used to be a cemetery! Thanks for the quiche~

Was in the city for a seminar. Finished early and thought to myself why not see if I can find a cache. Being a beginner I used the hint. Very helpful!!! Heaps of muggles around but casually looked around and saw it exactly where I was. Feels good! Love the camp! TFTC!!!!
Down in Sydney for the day to file some paperwork so naturally I wanted to find a cache while I was here. Actually I would've liked to find several but had my muggle sister with me so was limited to one. We were heading to the nearby train station so this one was convenient.
I spotted the cache very quickly but had to wait for a nearby muggle to leave before I could get close enough to grab it. Then we both watched for a moment when no-one was looking our way and I could stealthily grab the cache. Log signed and we did the same performance in reverse.
Fascinating reading about the old burial ground. I spent the first 20 years of my life in inner Sydney and never knew about it.

Very good hide, so many muffles but after a bit of photo taking & shuffling around got it!! TFTC
On our first day in Sydney we rocked up to the area and it was very busy but after waiting it out I located it and quickly replaced.

Reasonably quick early morning find - thought it might be more of an issue with homeless muggles sleeping nearby.
First find on our 5 day stay in Sydney. Nice quick find as very few muggles were about. TFTC
Found it together with my muggle friend who will probably soon be a geocacher. Tftc!
Hi, we came from Switzerland hoping to find a local geocache or two but when we looked around for this red tonight we found that it was being used as someone's home for the night, so we decided to abandon our search and left the guy in peace...
Thanks for replacing. Thanks for the fun, puzzles and hides from a Californian cacher. All logs marked with a "Circled GB".

Cache will be replaced this week as two attempts to find original have been fruitless.
No find, was going to log a needs archived, but someone seems to find it amongst the dnfs, so will return as we had a timeframe of just 5 minutes.

Didn't find it after looking for an hour. Pretty sure I was looking in the right spot, but it would be great if CO could do a cache check.
On the plus side, it was raining, so there weren't many people around, even though it was approaching the evening peak hour. On the minus side, it was raining, so I didn't want to lie down on the ground in my good raincoat. Will return with torch and mirror.
I'm about to give up on this one. For the last year I've tried numerous times to find it: early in the mornings, during lunches, on weekends, once at 22:00... I've begged previous finders for hints, clues, tag-alongs. And still not found it. I've used mirrors, cameras, torches and my first born child. No luck.
Today, after DNF number four thousand and thirty eight, I declare this one officially Not Found.

Looks like your searching for a drug drop . Too many muffles to search on hands and knees.
22:55 Of course it smells like piss. Why would it not smell like piss? At least it was deserted, on this particularly cold night.
Oh my goodness. Creepy looking at night time. Kind of looks suspicious going around with a flashlight!! Too many muggles. Will try again.
Avenging a DNF and a couple of trips to look for this one. With a hint from a fellow America we were able to make the find on this gem. That is the good news, the back news is I laid in something nasty and now Mrs. AZLover is having to wash my jacket. TFTC
I got it--and it's part of a serious caching feat!
This morning I was out here at about 6 AM on my hands and knees, searching in dim dawn with a torch. Fortunately, there were no muggles on the benches. With some hints from a friend, I found the little guy quickly--a good thing, because I had to take off to the airport for a trip back to Chicago, USA.
You may have guessed the ending of this story. Thanks to the International Date Line, I found a cache in Chicago about 6 PM today, thus finding two caches 14,892 km (9254 mi) apart on the same calendar day. I have been going back and forth to Sydney for a few years now, and have always wanted to do this. I know there are some challenge caches out there with distance-between-same-day-caches as qualifier, and I now ought to qualify for all of them.
TFTC that made this fun feat possible.

A very challenging place to put a cache, too challenging for us. Too many people around and too many creepy places to put your fingers. As we had a limited time in the big smoke we headed off to find a less conspicuous cache.
There were hardly any muggles about and we spent around 45 minutes searching for the cache with absolutely no luck. There was a person sleeping right at the GZ and when they saw that we were looking for something they offered to help as well! But even with three of us we still couldn't find it .We eventually got tired of lying on the floor with a torch in hand and left before it could get too dark.
Was able to find it without waking up the homeless guy fast asleep right over the cache.
It's interesting that people in the city never really pay attention to what others are doing.
Though you can do almost anything in a work vest and holding a clip board.

It's a DNF here too. I'm pretty sure I know where to look and maybe what I'm looking for but after a few attempts still nothing. Maybe if I was prepared to lie down and have a real good look around I might have more success, but the Sydney City worker who has been there every time I go is getting pretty suspicious.
Finally a muggle free zone but alas I could not find the cache after, what I thought, a through search. So frustrating

On our trip trough Australia with the hole family we looked also for some caches. They often showed us places we would never had discovered. Thanks a lot to the all the people who care about this lovely hobby .
Unfortunately there were some odd peoples around. But somhow I managed it and could get away with no troubles from a homeless...

Tough with lots of muggles around. I studied some of the previous log pictures and located it quickly. If I hadn't then it would have been a much harder find. Just visiting from the State of Idaho, USA. TFTC!
Once again out muggled by sleeper at GZ, this is probably my 10th attempt on this cache. So frustrating.....

Last year there were too much muggles around. This year we took more time to check part by part when these came available. After some halve hour we found it.

Once again my bike comes in handy as an excuse to get on my hands and knees and look at something. Pretending there is a problem with my brakes I had good look under the seat and spied the cache!
Veni, vidi, repperi!
My first in Sydney and my first in Australia and it was not an easy one

If the hint refers to what I think it does then there were several sleeping muggles on it. Had a brief look as I went by but couldn't search as closely as I would have liked. Next time maybe, thanks.
I was a bit nervy about this one with muggles and wondering about what we might be sticking our hands in. In the end I got a bit girly and left it to my partner who couldn't find it either. Thanks for the history on this one. I understand that with muggles everywhere you can sometimes go unnoticed, but this wasn't the case in our experience. Thanks for the interesting history.
Blah blah blah nanos in very public places...and I didn't have my mechanics slide under the car tray so getting down low was too much and muggles everywhere - eating sleeping knitting YES knitting! Was quite sure I was on the spot but....
Damnnn this was hard. Luckily the location was accurate. I used that intel to observe the map with scrutiny and pinpointed the exact location of that micro. A muggle was sitting on the seat i had my suspecions set upon. Super hard with the muggles being round. Tftc
OMG this was brutal. Muggles using the big red thing. Waited an hour while a guy ate his dinner at GZ!! Then surreptitiously used a tool for about 45 minutes, pausing every 30 seconds while someone walked by, before finally spying it. Good thing I had a lot of time on my hands, in a nice spot. Tftc!!
Today we took a little walk through the city passing by Circular Quay, the opera house, paddys market. We went past this cache.
It took a little while until we could sign our name in the logbook.

No luck with city caching today.
Found something that matched the hint but a few too many muggles around to have a proper look.

I was here for a few Sundays for the service, and then for a wedding, but at all those times there were too many people around and too many hint items, so I am afraid I did not put in the effort necessary!!
On a day in the city visiting St Andrews for a Colin Buchanan concert with the Carstens crew. Found the red and then geo boy junior found the cache. TFTC
Fifth attempt but way too much human traffic to even start to search for the cache.
Whilst waiting out a muggle I pressed a little too hard on the Garmin Dakota screen and shattered the glass screen, bye bye GPSr! Grrrrrrrrr!! At least I got the cache after phoning a friend.
The sign will point the way...

Here we searched for a long time and also very patiently. But there were so many muggles that we quit without success, otherwise it will be a risc to the hidingplace...

We are down this way for just a day from the Gold Coast and having no time to spare this is probably the only cache we could attempt.
We walked from the hotel to Town Hall to catch a train back to the airport and decided to try this one.
There were a couple of muggles only at GZ and as Sal sat keeping watch Anth got down on hands and knees and made a methodical search. It wasn't long before he spotted the prize and luckily he found a $2 coin as well which he loudly proclaimed as he stood up to hide his true intentions. Hehehe
Thanks for placing the 760th cache that we have found so far Goughy2012!
