Travelling with richlink as part of our Annual Caravan Geocaching Trip.We are on the move, Keith to Narracoorte. using geocaching as our guide. A great bit of history here, such an interesting location. Thanks for making us stop to take a closer look.
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state WA. Staying in Naracoorte for a few days to locate some caches in the area.Too chilly for slitheries so enjoyed the location. Thanks tamara212
We needed to go to Naracoorte today and made the decision to do a small detour on our way home and this is where we landed. This old bridge would have been lovely in it's day. SL TFTC
I thought I was going to bump into a fellow cacher, instead I met Trudy who was checking a hit roo didn’t have a joey in its pouch. I explained why I had stopped and she was very interested and followed me to the cache. We had a good ol’ chinwag
Cache found full of water so I messaged the CO and placed a new container and dry logbook along side the original cache . Keep the game going
I found the old bridge supports very interesting also. Thank you for stopping me here for a look.

Log is saturated unable to write in log. Have taken a photo of cache for our proof of arrival. Tftc
A little more of the south east with Purrfect Di and Jack along too after a long week at work.
Caching is a great way to wind down and mostly stay away from people and bugs [:o)]
Lol if only I'd looked there first. After checking out the old and new bridge structures, went back through the long dry grass and voila!!!
Thanks heaps to tamara212 for hiding and looking after this cache on our SA geo game map

Touring around each and every day finding and signing using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S21u, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck Plenty of that actually!!!
*Logs are composed and published using GSAK of course.*
---
Please do stay as safe as possible when caching.
Keep a lookout for bogs, snakes, surprise cliffs, boxing roos, wombats, bulldust, and floods,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall out of trees...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for bugs from alpha to omega !!! . [xx(]
Try to keep Travel Bugs as the only bugs you share and pass on
Now everything's opening more - even more important to sanitise and safely distance!!!
Much appreciation of all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting
Thank you for reading all this addition to the log word count!
Now well into the second month of Twenty Twenty Too Enjoy!!!

On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird. I’ll leave the more interesting detailed log to Mrs Geo (aka: SeasonedBird, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird or Angry Bird) because she writes so much more eloquently than I and usually has much more time to do so while I’m driving. It’s a great day for caching. TFTC tamara212

Our time in the South East is drawing to a close so we decided to head North to Lucindale via Furner grabbing any caches we hadn’t already found.
Perfect caching weather as we grabbed a few drive bys and then after enjoying morning tea at the Lucindale cafe we walked a 6km circuit around town and out to the cemetery to try for the ones thereabouts.
So many pieces of history lying dotted around the country. Many thanks for showing us this one tamara212

Found during a camping trip to the Coorong and the Southeast areas with brisal5 and I in one vehicle, and e.gregory and friend in the other. We travelled around the Narrung Peninsula and down the Coorong where we spent the first night camped out at Tea Tree Crossing. Enjoyed some challenging driving and eventful cache finds, wandering bush tracks and strenuous sand dune climbs in very scenic areas. The second night saw us camp out in Little Dip before meandering the country roads in search of an assortment of Traditional, Earth, Multi and Puzzle caches further down the coast before heading back home via Lucindale, Padthaway and Keith. Thanks for the cache tamara212!
Found on a camping trip to the Coorong and Southeast areas with brisal5, FeatherWaite and a non-geocaching friend who was visiting from Tasmania.
My main aim of the visit was to show my friend around, however we also took the opportunity to find a few caches along the way. We had a great time visiting some of the beaches and other areas.
We were lucky with the weather - mostly warm and still. However, the last day was very hot, so didn’t worry about finding any caches on the way home.
I am planning to be down in the Southeast again in a few days to find a few more caches and attend the events at Millicent and Naracoorte.
Thanks tamara212 for the cache.

What an amazing spot - the sort of place you would never know existed, except for geocaching [^].

Mr Tardis was heading down to Millicent for the weekend. I came down via Lucindale, and stopped here to find this one. A nice piece of history here. After a short search I found the cache.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache tamara212.

Found with The Pom + foreign muggles didn’t sign log because it’s moister than an oyster.
we saw here animals with needles, never seen before, we found the cache after good search

I love these old bridge remains and this was no different.
Through the long grass to the cache which was full of water.
Emptied it out as best but it needs a new logbook when you can

I probably should have looked at the terrain rating before venturing out in my silly flippy little shoes. Nevermind - I got there eventually. I love the old remnants of bridge - what history there is here. TFTC
Accurate coordinates led to a quick find. Unfortunately the logbook was very wet and unusable. We left a temporary logbook in its own plastic bag as an interim measure. this cache does need attention. Thanks tamara212 for the cache.
Still plenty of water!
Found as part of my 2017 Alexandra Mega experience. This cache added to the fun and enjoyment of my trek to the east from Adelaide. While there were a few thunder storms, there were mainly clear skies and I never saw a snake!
Thanks to tamara212 and *clear skies* from TeamAstro. Cache the planet!

On a long and winding way to Adelaide today.... i stopped and carefully wandered through the long grass. I performed some maintenance by pouring out the water that had collected. I cant remember if I replaced logbook or not?!? Sorry
Found it with Rabs79, Maxi25 and geodog Nip. A lot of traffic about but managed to find cache, sign log and put back. The log is a little damp. TFTC.
Found ok. Water in cache and log wet and is a bit mouldy but not too bad and could sign log. Thanks for the cache.

Over from SA for the Surf Coast Mega and had an awesome time teaming up with friends to cache for the weekend and enjoy the Mega Event. On our way home now to the Barossa and after catching up with Family at Nora Creina, we made our way home today. Made a quick find. Log was very Wet.. Interesting structure! TFTC
The cache had a fair bit of water in it, and the log was very wet. manage to sign with our powertank pen, and emptied the water out, but could do with a bit of owner TLC
After spending the weekend doing the Border Track, I had an extra day to grab some caches in the area. TFTC.
All these lil tucked away spots, not sure what was going on with the GPSr but it finally settled down and pointed us in the right direction.
A nice day for a drive and the bonus of a cache along the way, thanks tamara212 for the cache. Found it, signed it and replaced it safe and sound.

Came to Naracoorte today to drop off in laws so they could pick up their new car from the dealer. Long way from home but the dealer is a relation so I come here often! That done, time to cache my way back home. As you do. [^] But since I have done most along the highway I better take a few detours and grab some out of the way ones.
What a great piece of history. Thanks for the cache tamara212.

The old bridge works were fascinating. It's strange how things transpire, paperwork related to the Bakers Ridge Drain passed over my desk a week ago. It's nice to have actually seen the drain. I'm told this area looks pretty when there's water in the drain.
thanks for the cache tamara212.

A group of our friends were going to stay a few days at Beachport so we decided that we would leave the day before. Give me some time to find some caches on the way.
First night at Coomandook and then on to Naracoorte and then arriving at the beach found that the others who had left that morning had arrived before us.
H'mm, geocaching can waste a great amount of time!
Anyway, this was one of the caches we found and signed the way.

Yippee !! Another chance to cross some waters today
This time around, the bridge was of a very unusual design.
Still not crossable, but definitely unusual
I stomped me way to GZ to scare away the critters and soon found the cache in an obvious place [^]

Found with chooknchunk while based in Naracoorte for the BLE. Nearly gave up on this until we spotted that it had been found today. Very aware of slithery things that could be around on such a lovely day. TFTC
Found with Misschief18, while in Naracoorte for the Big Little Event. Headed out west today. Spent a while hunting for this cache and had actually passed over but had not looked closely enough (probably due to a little bit of nervousness about it being a perfect day and location for snakes too). Nearly gave up, but got spurred on by hearing it had been found earlier today, so gave it one more try, and bingo. TFTC
