Well May has come around once again, that means off on a camping trip chasing Yellow Faces . Lucky enough to find many but have encountered a couple Blue Faces .Either way the experience has been rewarding due to the Geocache locations and the beautiful Autumn days in the low 20s.Many thanks go out to all the COs and the maintenance crews around the remote and country regions that make travelling more enjoyable.TFTC

A beautiful morning, sunshine, light breeze and not a sign of rain. We were having quite a fun day until mid afternoon the rain started. Our day consistered of finding a variety of caches, AL's and a few DNF's and finding us arriving back at home at a much later time than we had wamted to be.
We had a lovely lunch at the fish and chip shop near the jetty and we found a fantastic place that we can bring our caravan to when we want some time out.
At GZ we found the magnet, we placed the magnet into another container and replaced the cache.

We are heading off to Adelaide after spending a few days with SuperPop to celebrate his 90th birthday to catch a flight to Perth to visit some dear old friends that aren't doing too well at the moment. We are stopping occasionally to grab a few caches to break up the journey.
We stopped in Kingston to grab the adventure lab here as we both really enjoy them. After that we thought that we should stop and try our luck here again as our last visit back in August 2014 was a dnf. A bit of a search in all the wrong places, we then felt something different and a little bit more searching and we soon had the container in hand.
We were very happy to turn this frown into a smiley by adding our name to the log.
Thanks for the cache.

On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird. I’ll leave the more interesting detailed log to Mrs Geo (aka: SeasonedBird, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird or Angry Bird) because she writes so much more eloquently than I and usually has much more time to do so while I’m driving. It’s a great day for caching. TFTC wanderingmoustache

Found at 14:52 during a fantastic extended weekend away with Shonkylogic and Southern Cross Caching. We had grand plans to complete swathes of powertrails and solved puzzles, but the weather slowed us down a bit. Even so, it was a lot of fun, and we passed my goal - to get my 9000th find
Friday, day 1, had us driving and caching from morning in Adelaide until the 6pm event in Millicent.
Day 2 focussed on the fishing series, wine bottle, and numerous other caches in that vicinity.
Day 3 was our slowest, due to the worse weather, but still a lot of fun.
Day four, after doing SFE series and nearby caches, plus those we passed, I arrived home at about 8pm, after finding my 9000th cache along the way.
Great to catch up with many of the usual faces, some others we hadn't seen for a long time, and a few new faces too.
Thanks for the hides

On our way down to the Mega event at Millicent with Mattycat and Sebastbat we stopped from time to time to find a cache or two and to stretch our legs, this was one of them. A quick find here before grabbing a snack to continue our journey

Apologies for the generic log.
Uni and Medusa, Southern Cross Caching, and I ... shonkylogic spent the October Long Weekend in 2021 attending the Easter 2020 Mega Event at Millicent.
Along the way we stopped to find as many caches as we could - because we somehow convinced our better halves not to accompany us. Or perhaps it was because they really don't like caching as much as us.
We came well equipeed in the Pahero, with not one, not two but THREE TOTTs to help us. Even that wasn't sufficient for all the hides, sometimes you just don't have the right tool for the job.
We enjoyed meeting up with old friends, in these days of Covid is really is very special to be able to hold an event like this.
Thanks wanderingmoustache for placing and maintaining the cache

Teamed up with Sebastbat and Froghoppin, and later in the day **JEM** for an assault on the much awaited GeoVenture 2020
Some along the way, and quite a few around the GV region of Millicent and beyond.
This was one of them! Nice welcomes everywhere.

All the Geocaches are located and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck!
---
Please do stay safe when caching.
Lookout for mud, snakes, surprise cliffs, wild goats, wombats, bulldust, and lightning,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins... but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]
Make sure Travel Bugs are the only bugs you share and pass on
We really appreciate all those placing quality caches out and about especially away from the city crowds,
it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting

Heading into Kingston today and decided to stop for a couple of caches on the way , very clever hide and with the fluffy neighbor's watching it was a quick welcome find . TYFTC
Had a great weekend in Kingston with my girlfriend, thanks for the hospitality. TFTC
Owl was driving Magpie and Ostrich to a family event in Mount Gambier. Fortunately the nearest physiotherapy-mandated rest (cache) stop was this cache, which has been a nemesis cache for Owl for 6 years. When she is here the cache is not. Today she was the first name in the new log and a blue circle has finally been made yellow!
TFTC! Cache container was rusted closed so couldn’t sign the actual logbook. Hope this counts as a find still.
Found while returning to Adelaide. Log has been wef and most entries obliterated

While staying in the south east we decided to have a day touring around Kingston and Robe grabbing those caches we hadn’t found in the past.
We enjoyed a sausage sizzle which we cooked beside the harbour entrance to Cape Jaffa Marina as we watched several professional fishing boats returning to port.
This cache had previously been a DNF for us but with decent gloves Geohubby soon had the sneaky little blighter in his hands
Many thanks for the hide wanderingmoustache

Found during a camping trip to the Coorong and the Southeast areas with brisal5 and I in one vehicle, and e.gregory and friend in the other. We travelled around the Narrung Peninsula and down the Coorong where we spent the first night camped out at Tea Tree Crossing. Enjoyed some challenging driving and eventful cache finds, wandering bush tracks and strenuous sand dune climbs in very scenic areas. The second night saw us camp out in Little Dip before meandering the country roads in search of an assortment of Traditional, Earth, Multi and Puzzle caches further down the coast before heading back home via Lucindale, Padthaway and Keith. Thanks for the cache wanderingmoustache!
WTK-yay!!! Got it. Had a go 12 months ago with no luck. New it had to be there somewhere. Ended up using video camera to spot it before grabbing it. The little sucker was jammed/screwed shut-but got it undone with some help. Wonder if it is the old one as last log in logbook was jan 2019 Now covered in Prickles-worth it! TFTC
Found on a quick trip to the Coorong. Signed the original larger cache container that -beaker- salvaged. TFTC
