Our final day camping at the Mega, all packed up but still the aim to cache the highway home and any others we happened to be near this was one of them, travelling with Mattycat and Sebastbat, no luck on this one but the area looks like its been well searched with the vegetation suffering as a result till next visit

No luck here for 4 of us... but sad to see much trampling of the garden bed by ?previous searchers.
Prob should go to avoid more damage.

Heading to the Mega in Millicent with Doctor Owl and this was one we stopped at on our way past. [^]
Couldn't find this one even with a previous finder.
Thanks anyway Groovygranny47.

So we did it, we took the plunge and early last year made arrangements to sell our little hobby farm in South Gippsland and ‘do a big lap’.
No full lap is complete without a lap of the little island first.
So after tidying up our affairs and putting everything into storage, we celebrated Christmas with our families and hit the road.
We recently spent 7 magnificent weeks in beautiful Tasmania, then we just did a quick trip down the west coast of boring old Victoria, making our way to South Australia, crossing the border before Covid strikes again.
Looking forward to slowing things down as we spend time in SA with no return date planned.
Thanks for being one of the CO’s who supplied us with a cache to do on the way.
This one was most enjoyable.
Found during a camping trip to the Coorong and the Southeast areas with brisal5 and I in one vehicle, and e.gregory and friend in the other. We travelled around the Narrung Peninsula and down the Coorong where we spent the first night camped out at Tea Tree Crossing. Enjoyed some challenging driving and eventful cache finds, wandering bush tracks and strenuous sand dune climbs in very scenic areas. The second night saw us camp out in Little Dip before meandering the country roads in search of an assortment of Traditional, Earth, Multi and Puzzle caches further down the coast before heading back home via Lucindale, Padthaway and Keith. Thanks for the cache Groovygranny47!
ROAD TRIP! Time to head south and fill a few gaps near the Coorong that require a 4WD to access. [^] So I joined Featherwaite in the trusty Hilux and with E.gregory in his mighty Palace on wheels in support what could possibly go wrong. [?]
Day 2: Continue south from Tea Tree Crossing Campsite grabbing caches as we go. Finishing the caches we wanted by lunchtime it was onto Kingston and places further south looking for another campsite. [^]
We searched for a good ten minutes without success. In the end we had to resort to the previous finder we had with us who told us where it should have been. Nope. A temp is in place now awaiting the CO to check.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks Groovygranny47 for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

We had hoped to cache in Jip Jip Conservation Park today but on arrival found that the park is closed for most of March so we opted instead to cache around Kingston and Cape Jaffa.

After dropping my phone in the ocean over a week ago, plugging it in to the charger it chucked a fit 'moisture detected, unplug until dry' What?!
Well not to be defeated.. it needed to charge so I persisted and it took the charger eventually. A point to all this, well yes, I didn't unplug it to find the cache so with the phone in the car it was a search about until the hide was spotted, didn't take to long luckily! Thanks for the cache.

A well kempt park by the busy highway,
perfect for a quick cache find
And somewhere in the trees,
I found it
This one should prove popular for those wandering the highways,
wanting a quick find [^]
Well hidden too,
so a good spot for TB's

I headed down to the south-east with gridge98 on a quick, two-day trip to find a few caches.
We had some rather mixed weather, with sunshine, rain, hail and wind at different stages, but most of the time it was good weather for caching.
We also had rather mixed results in terms of caches. There were some interesting hides in some terrific places; some along the beaches, some in the pine forests and others at various scenic or interesting locations. We managed a few lucky FTFs, but also a few disappointing DNFs. But all in all, it was a great trip.
Parked close to this one and made a quick find.
Thanks Groovygranny47 for the cache.

During a weekend down at the Mount for a scuba diving symposium event, this was a day of driving back and detouring past a few caches and sights. Managed to extend my trip home to Adelaide via Port MacDonnell, Millicent, Beachport, and then Robe (to ensure that LGA is covered for a challenge cache).
This cache was the final find as light was disappearing and i needed to get home. A quick find in Kingscote in a typical location. Very quiet around here. TFTC.

Mr S quickly had this one in hand and we added our names to the log.

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work.
