A bit disappointed as not only was the outer container awol, but the magnets from inside the tin to attach it were also missing. Due to work and travel, I've decided to archive it. Once things settle down in July, I'll look for another spot if the park is still cache free. Thanks.
Outer container missing. Found inner container in next best hiding place. Will reassess
Wow! Didn't realise that there was a big garage sale trail on in Rhyll. And a large family gathering at nearby rotunda with kids everywhere. Happy Easter to all. Will come back Tuesday when the Island empties.
Think we found the container but not in the right place (we think) also there was nothing inside. Put it back where we think it should have been. Needs to be checked by owner.
See note on 12/4/22. Container seems empty. Put back where we thought it should have been. Please check.
Having another day on Phillip Island and concentrating in the NE area. In this pleasant park there were a group of boys playing right where i needed to search, so I sat on a nearby seat and watched them until their game took them further a way. A quick find then TFTC tassieexpat
I'm finally able to come down to the Island for hangouts with my family and it feels so good! Today's hangout included grabbing delicious fish and chips at the nearby shop (where I learned after a lifetime of not liking fish that grilled flake is actually ok ) and heading up to this park to enjoy the sunshine. My nephew loves it here and every time I come with him he's learning how to climb something new!
I said to my brothers, who have both been caching with me in the past, that there's a cache here so they decided to try and beat me to it without the gps while I walked with my nephew. Despite him toddling along I still managed to find it before them! This was an unusual container, but it certainly does the trick.
Thanks for the cache tassieexpat!

Didn't even know this park exsisted, just did inlet walk and thought as I was so close I'll have a look. My gps was saying 8m but I knew by your clue where it was. Thanks for hide

Finally, we can go to events again! With a CITO scheduled on the Island, n0w0rries +Wife convinced me to tag along.
After banging stakes in to support guards to protect the young banksia plantings from the wildlife, surrounded by the most people in ages, of course we went caching.
While the others were parked deciding where to go next, I noticed this one on the map, so got out to take a walk. My choice of approach angle was perfect, as I was shielded from the party going on in the rotunda. Thanks to the clue, the cache was a quick find and I was settling in to a leisurely log-signing at the convenient nearby seat as n0w0rries caught up.
Thanks, tassieexpat

Travelling with +Wife, nirgalagrin and our GeoMutts on a delightful day out geocaching on Phillip Island.
Following on from this morning's tree planting CITO we went in search of local treasures.
A quick stop here and the cache was soon in hand.
There was a group having a get together over at the rotunda but we were nicely screened from view.
Thank for the caches tassieexpat.

A quick find here after our day out at Silverwater and doing the Ryall inlet walk for the cache series.
A party in the rotunda with lots of people. Good music playing! We were able to grab this cache unnoticed as we approached the cache from the other end of the park.

With all the lockdowns, I forgot to collect this between them. Have written it on a physical list (more likely to be done that way lol)
Found the lid and sharp object. No other part of cache. Left lid back where we found it. Will notify cache owner.
Container has separated from cammo. Will try to retrieve this week, depending on 99% chance of roster change.
This cache needs maintenance. I looked for it and drew a blank. I looked under a nearby bush and found the lid and nothing else. I signed the lid and replaced it where I thought the cache should be.
I was out on a morning jog and stopped off to make a quick find. There was nobody else around and the clue was very helpful. Nice spot for it. TFTC.
Another day-another caching run!
Since the COVID restrictions have eased in regional Victoria we have been trying to do a weekly run with caching mate Rebel Acts. This is our fourth outing, and unfortunately the drizzle looks set to make things a bit miserable. Our first 3 days were beautiful, mild and with a light breeze. We are living in hope that the skies clear and make it more comfortable, but this IS Victoria.
As in the past we will sign many of the caches RASP.
A nice hide, good to find something a bit different

With restrictions lifted in regional Vic I once again teamed up with SKI Pair armed with My mask and Sanitizer, Today we headed over the hills to Phillip Island where we had a great day exploring the Island, the weather was four seasons in one day, but that did not stop us. There were quite a few challenging and novel hides in the area. this is one of the caches we found today. A nice hide that gets a FAV from Me.

It was terrible weather to be out and about this morning, but it didn't dampen my fun in discovering some wonderful locations and fun finds!
A nice quick find here, nice construction! Tftc

Who goes out in this sort of weather! Yuck! Geo Dad wanted to look at a boat that hte local boat yard had on display and the rest of us had cabin fever. The only cache for the day. As I'm logging it I realised I never replied to the CO's text the other week properly..whoops. will send a sorry now! TFTC tassieexpat
Like this cache, good way to hide it and keep it safe.
Thank you for the cache.
Mangomermaid my baby girl found it

Very easy find. Perhaps been moved, clue did not correlate to found location. TFTC
Took us 20 minutes but SUCCESS! GREAT HIDE! Not where we though using the hint but close enough!
Nice quick and easy find by one of my geokids. Also great location for them to have a play on the playground after.
While out hiking the Treasure Island geo-trail we of course couldn’t resist diverting off to search for this cache which was quickly located once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
I popped into the cruise port of Rhyll for a quick look around and just had time to pick up this cache.
Good one, thanks tassieexpat.

We arrived late yesterday with the geobeagles for a holiday on Phillip Island and this was our first cache for the trip. We had lunch at a local café and then drove to this cache. We parked in a nearby street and wandered through the park to GZ. The co-ords on our GPSr were jumping around a lot near GZ so we took a squiz at the hint. This focused our attention on a particular spot where we soon found the cache and signed the log at 3:30 pm. TNLN.
Thanks tassieexpat for the well-hidden cache and for bringing us to this lovely park. After finding the cache we continued our walk in the park. It seemed to be dog walkies time as several dog walking muggles started turning up so the beagles enjoyed socialising with other canines.

First road trip caching in a while, but a caching day tho a little windy and chilly but sun came out later on.
Out with the kids 12 and 14 (yeah they wanted to come but somewhat not as excited at the treasure in the caches).... but still happy to come (if not e every day), and Pooch who l bet if could talk would say "Best day ever.. humans"... she will sleep well tonight and have puppy dreams of her adventures, sights and oh the smells...
Thanks Gonefishen for awesome caches again.. we love the ones where we can get out for a walk.

# 5448 Found while waiting for a short boat trip to see the seals. There was a thunderstorm brewing, but we still managed to see them. Plovers were drive bombing me in the way to gz.
Thanks tassieexpat

Our first of the day as we intend to cycle the nearby trail. Parked the car and a short walk over to GZ. After a short search we noticed something unusual and then we had found it.
Thanks for putting this cache out there.

Visited the island looking for whales and picked up some geocaches while I was there. This one was an easy find and had a bit of a creative spin on the usual placement. Thanks tassieexpat for creating and placing the cache.
