TFTC! Enjoyed a walk along the rail trail. Really lovely through here. Easily found the cache!
We are staying in Seymour for a few days after relaxing at Flowerdale Estate and a chance to do a little Geocaching. It was nice to catch up with Hembee on Sunday afternoon and this was a chance to find a few more of her caches. This was our last find for the day and it is becoming dark. Thankfully a quick find as we had parked in the entrance to someone's driveway. Thanks to by hembee and haydo03 for the cache.
Decided today was a great day to get out, enjoy the sunshine and do the rail trail series and others heading towards Yea. I cheated and did it via my geo car as I had to work in the afternoon. Anyway had some great finds and totally enjoyed my day out. TFTC
Beadling around the countryside on a clear sky day But, boy, those cold morning starts are icy Scored 20 smilies on today’s journey.

Today we rode the first section (for us) of the Great Victorian Bike Trail, we found this section to be a very attractive valley.
Because of the way we structured the ride this was the first find, of course I rushed over to the fallen tree only to read the description and go oh, I need to rethink this one. Once I started to look elsewhere the cache was soon found.

A nice easy find. Much easier when you’re not looking in the fallen log. Thanks for the hide.
The rain finally stopped and we got out onto the trail this afternoon. Found. TFTC
This has been disabled due to Covid19. When restrictions are lifted this will be enabled.
Poked around it and turned something over, there the cache was, covered in slaters and a bit of water inside, but log was dry.
Destination Melbs via Tallarook and Trawool to find a clutch of caches in between the occasional deluge. Clutch is my definition of around ten caches. Similar to a cluster but these spread along the trail fit the bill today. Thanks for the wordsmithery, history and info. Effort and placements appreciated!
What's down this road ??
A rail trail !!
No pushbike today,
so I enjoyed a short stroll to GZ instead.
At GZ I spent a quality 15 minutes failing to find the cache
It must be here somewhere ??
So I headed for the most sensible spot.
A size 9 boot finally did the trick and removed the deep camo that covered the prize
TFTC,
it should be a little easier to find now

There are no blackberries in the immediate vicinity of GZ according to my finding device. I searched as much as I could of the surrounding area, but failed to find what I was looking for. I presume it’s not at the Wattle tree lower down as the access to it was beyond the T1.5 rating on the cache.
Found it on the return leg of bike ride and puppy walk/run. Was writing up log away from Cache site when some muggles came along. All good puppy distracted them enough and cache was returned with no issues.
With a couple of days free, I headed off with Crusty K9 to find some caches. This was one of them. tftc.
Another one bites the dust. No. 6 found and we have now lost our runner. A quick find for this one as we are on a timer from our driver Mr G.
Tallarook to Trawool and return is the plan for today, one half of the partnership is not as cycle fit as the other so that's our limit. After a bit of a technology fail to start with we are now well underway on our journey.
Broadford - Seymore
We have moved camp again, stopping overnight at Seymore.
We stopped on the highway where suitable towing a caravan. Later we headed out of town towards the railtrail. This we done in the car.
We enjoyed our drive through this rural countryside. A large type of caches in various hides were found.
Thanks for placing this cache hembee

Finally found time to tick the rest of this trail off which I started nearly 12 months ago.
Parked close to GZ and after a quick search I soon had the cache in hand
Thanks hembee and haydo03 TTFC.

**# 15931** Found on our 2017 summer escape to Vic trip.
And it's a cooler and slightly damp day for a drive around with Rebel Acts.
The t2t trail was on the agenda and the wet weather kept the muggles away for us.
Thanks for the cache and the series hembee,

Arrived in town this evening and decided to grab some caches before heading for the trail tomorrow, this was one of several, some of these were straight forwards and other were a little more challenging, over all we collected all we were after, lovely area, there were loads of little spiders and butterflies spotted. the weather cooled down by the time we arrived so it was rather pleasant. TFTC
Over for the Surf Coast Mega with tmann421 enjoying the area and collecting caches along the way.

Just-Lookin and I had a lot of fun finding some good caches around this area today. SL TFTC
Suscoe was heading for Lake Eildon today and we headed off prior to the sun rising to make the most of the day.
We made good time and our first find was picked up on the Hume north of Melbourne.
Our main goal was to collect as many caches as we could along the roads from Tarnagulla to Alexandra and we did pretty well in the end.
It was a lovely day for caching with plenty of sun shine and almost no wind.
We found a terrific range of caches and learned some things about this area that we had no idea about. This is a road that we have never travelled before and so every turn brought a new view of wonderful grazing land with lots of cattle and sheep.
Thanks to hembee, a nice spot here.

Wow what a jungle!!! But we came up with the goods. Cache a little damp but otherwise good tftc
#224 We had been here before looking for this cache about 2 years ago, but had to abandon our search because of muggles in the driveway of the nearby house. We were able to have a more thorough look today, but it still took us a long longer than we should have! We were about to give up as the geobaby was getting impatient when I finally stumbled upon it. TFTC
Took us way longer than it should of. GOS not working very well in this area. 5 ish meters out.
Great camo on this one.

Another long weekend....another trip away..this time 1/2 of our team headed to Albury for a weekend of caching with Rapidlywild and Coruze. Day one was spent around Mt Disappointment where we finished up fairly late and headed to the hotel for a good nights rest. Today was also another big one, as we meandered our way back to Albury stopping through the little towns along the way.
Thanks to all the cache owners for the placements and giving us a reason to come and check out another area of this country of ours, apologies for the generic log.
Thanks to Rapidlywild and Coruze for another enjoyable weekend.

A long weekend, what does that mean? Well GEOCACHING of course
Plans were in place to get out this long weekend with one party of the FurfacesLL and head towards Albury. We had organised a weekend of caching with Coruze which included puzzle collections (Albury/Wodonga) and power trail targeting (Mt Disappointment) and what ever little town we can invade along the way.
Alot happened this weekend, lots of caches, lots of laughter, many km's, long days and long nights. We all walked away battered and bruised after this weekend but it was worth it and would do it again in a heart beat lol
We had finished the power trail and surrounds yesterday so today we headed northbound and collected caches and visited a heap of towns too.
We took a shot detour from the highway to pick up the t2t caches. Didnt have any issues picking these ones up
Thanks hembee for the placement of this cache[^]

Last one for the day and now head for home thanks for the work put into these trial hides good fun....
On our way home to Ballarat from visiting a very dear friend we decided to see if we could add to others we have already found previously, we were glad to be able to finally add another smile, and look forward to adding more soon. TFTC
Found relatively quickly, thought it would take longer with so many spots to choose from. Signed and returned TFTC
While out on a caching mission with Na'wal and buzzsmc we set out to have a crack at this cache.
This was in a very nice area, we really like the old power poles on the other side of the track.
Thanks for the great cache.

Holidays is a great time to plan a day out. I openly put out a day of geocaching and theTritonz and buzzsmc were only to happy to join in the fun of an adventure away from home. We decided to move from home early to beat the morning traffic of the unfortunate muggles that had to go to work for the day. We were gone for well over 14hrs for the day, tiring but fun. We picked up some great caches for the day, some difficult D/T's and had a great day out.
After finishing our target series for the day near Mt. Disappointment, we continued north a little to find some more caches in the area. We didn't do all in this series. The last one for us today in this area before heading back south. A quick find. Stamped and returned as found.
### *Thanks for this trad cache, hembee*. [^] Log and container in good condition.Took Nothing, Left Nothing ###

We were driving from Melbourne to Trawool to meet the in-laws for lunch, and I managed to convince muggle hubby that we'd have to do some caching while we were there. For a change we were early, so I pulled out the GPS and picked the first one along the way which was this one. Muggle sister-in-law joined Geodaughter and I for her first caching experience, while hubby and grumpy teenager stayed in the car.
After looking in some obvious spots we thought we'd better check the hint so we didn't take too long and risk the wrath of the grouchy car-people, since I was hoping to sneak quite a few more on the way home
The cache was soon spotted by eagle-eyed Geodaughter, muggle sister-in-law was suitably surprised and we were on our way to the next one. Thanks for making the long drive much more fun (for us cachers anyway)!
