I attempted to look for this cache even though it's been years since last found..and the last two logs including one from the best of the best where DNF. Sad to say it was a waste of time another needle in the haystack..searched all likely Geo hiding spots I came across to a distance of 20/30 metres from the post bordering property to dirt track and came out empty handed.

Could the Co please check on this, would be nice to tick it off my unfound list.

Came here, like others, to get the confluence for the WIG, but obviously would have liked to find the cache too. While a few of us were wandering around trying to get our individual devices to register the confluence, we attracted the attention of the local landowner. We hadn’t realised this was private property, so it dampened our enthusiasm for a proper cache search. I got the confluence (yay) but we ended up aborting a proper cache hunt. Maybe next time we’re in the area.

Doing some caches nearby and had some time left before we had to head home. This was a nice quick find after parking nearby and taking the short stroll. Thanks for placing this here. I think it is the first confluence we have knowingly been to.

On our way to a new lab cache, we stopped here to fire up a WIG cartridge and locate this special cache. I bet other confluences won’t be so easy to access.
Nice bit of unloved here too.
Cheers Poiter.h

There clearly should be a plaque on all these points of confluence. If not an obelisk. There are presumably only 64,800 of them; I don't think it's too much to expect someone to fund this. No exceptions for all the ones falling in the ocean or private loungerooms either.

Finding the cache sadly came second to letting the gadgets find the precise 00.000/00.000 mark today. For, well, you know. Buhfuhguh's phone was being a tad temperamental here, so I could devote quite a while to findin'n'signin' if necessary. But despite the absence of a helpful obelisk the cache was found faaairly quickly and in excellent condition. Thanks once more Poiter.h!

Points of confluence have always intrigued me but I had never visited on in my knowledge, but still the somewhat intriguing idea of what they are drew me into going here (also may be due to a wherigo that I am wanting to finish). Either way we walked down and soon enough we had reached the rather insignificant bit of bush that we needed, wherigo players out and off we went to go and try to get some precise numbers for the first confluence of the wherigo, luckily Bendsinister got his rather quickly whilst I still somewhat aimlessly wandered around trying to get that magic number. In the midst of this the cache was spotted by one Bendsinister and the log was signed. It would be another 10 minutes of this aimless back and forth before I finally got the wherigo point done. Anyways haha thanks for the extra motivation for going to this spot and most importantly thanks for the fun little cache along the journey.

As we had to come to Neerim today to visit my uncle, MontsII decided that this was to be the cache of the day. I think that was mainly because he was able to stay in the car while I was sent off to find it. Payback for sending him into blackberries yesterday, I guess. My search took a bit longer than expected, it's a good yet simple hide. TFTC Poiter.h

Even though we were in the area last week, we had totally missed this cache and it's importance to our Wherigo confluence cartridge. So today heading towards Bairnsdale we took a " slight" detour to accomplish this with the added bonus of another smiley. It took sometime for the cartridge to find all the zero's but once it did we then started the hunt for the cache. This took longer than expected but we left no log unturned.
Thanks Pouter.h for placing this cache in a very important location and also a pretty one.

We headed here because of day1976's new Whereigo "The Degree Confluence Project" but were not going to leave with out this one.
Two caches for 1 park, how good is that we were thinking as walked from the car park to GZ but with only 11mts to go we started to wish we had come here on a day that was not raining. Smile
We can say this cache was located quite awhile before the exact confluence was located a very short distance away.
We have no intention of trying to find every confluence but will be very happy if we can find just 5 more.
Many thanks Poiter.h for placing the cache here.

**Find #2462**

I headed out today with the goal of scoring a FTF and then collecting other caches in the same general area, all the while enjoying the Autumn sunshine. This is the first confluence that I have knowingly visited and for that reason, I had to do this cache when I was in the area this afternoon. I took the CO's advice and parked down the road and walked back. Finding the cache was easy as the co-ords were exceptionally good for any location but especially when under tree cover. I then spent the next 20+minutes trying to get my GPS to read exactly S38° 00.000 E146° 00.000. [B)]

Thank-you to Poiter.h for placing this geocache

Found it! Wasn't sure if the local fires got to the cache and not having a reported log for ~6months we weren't sure if it was still around but low and behold we found it.
Logged with GCDroid.

Had to come out to Neerim South to do a job at the Hotel / Motel so decided to grab this cache, walked around and around in circles as god just would not settle so I stood back and decided to use a phone a friend but the lovely secretary who answered didn't know where the cache was and said Stan would ring me back in 5 min but as I looked from a different angle I spotted the cache so I quickly rang the lovely secretary back and said I had found it. So I can keep my Phone a Friend for another time. Sl thanks Potier for the cache.

Found @ 1:35pm, find # 3227.
I was at Neerim South for a morning trail bike outing with a group of others, so when we were finished, I checked out some caches in the area, this was one of them.
I parked up the road from GZ and walked back until it was time to leave the road and down to the cache location. After a little bit of a look around, the cache was found.
Thanks to Poiter.h for placing this cache.

Perfect autumn day for a walk in the bush. Bonus to sign a log. Great hide and fascinating info. Thanks Poiter.h

Took the short drive from home to here and after parking at the waypoint took the short stroll to make the find. Unfortunately it wasn't as easy as expected as the GPS had us some distance from the cache. Eventually we did make the find despite the best efforts of the March Flies. Thanks PoiterH.

***** FTF. ****. Found after fighting off quiet a lot of march flies. Never thought about this sort of cache, swapped a little bear with a flag for a breast cancer pin. Thanks poiter.h for another cache not too far from home.
