Looked and looked and looked! Ate yummy pies and fed the sparrows the crumbs but they gave no clues so we had to leave empty handed.
Maybe another time!

Found after a short search. Nice hide and good coordinates. TFTC Nzbirder and hookedNZ.
Yay have been meaning to get this one for ages. Finally found it whilst passing through!
Picked up on way past walking to the Wigo. Cache was not that hidden and I SL. Returned the camo that was on the ground and headed on our way. Night-time find but I'm glad the sirens didn't sound at the St John's although their lights were on. More time spent rolling the logslips and took a seat at the tables. TFTC
Yum, stopped for lunch in the rain then had to wait for a couple of fe-muggles to carry on before cache in hand.

Arrived here at lunchtime. Perfect timing! Pies all round and a cache to top it off. A busy wee place, and after spotting the cache it took quite some time to be able to retrieve it. Yummy pies. Tftc
Staying in Roxburgh while riding the Clutha Gold trail. A late afternoon visit and all was quiet here. Leaned the bike at GZ which neatly covered my activities. Thanks for the fun.
Found this one today as we were in Roxburgh to see friends. Cache was actually lying on the ground beside it presumed hiding spot, picked it up quickly, signed log and placed it back in a likely hiding spot with a wee bit of camo to help hide it. TFTC [^]
Heading home from Central and as it was dark and shop was shut there was no one around. Made for a nice easy find. TFTC
After attending the Lawrence event, it could almost considered rude not going to grab the local caches. After parting ways earlier re-ran into Granville, Kiscardi and we worked our way to and round Roxbrough. At least it is only drizzling and not snowing.
A wet Saturday afternoon meant no muggles about

Whhooops replaced the replacement log. Was thought to be the quickest way to sign initials after reading the previous logs and approaching hide after shop hours. Something looked out of place and tried subtle extraction. Not, apparently. TFTC
This was a bit tricky, when 2 of us were getting different distances. But thankfully it was found. P&VEE. Great find.
This was my 600th not that I found it. The honor goes to Mr vdh56 but still gets a favorite from me. Nice hide nice day and nice friends.
Very clever hide.
Looked for this a year ago without success.
Found it this time with Bid.
Thanks

After partaking another excellent dinner at a pub in town Tufty and I went for a little bit of early evening geocaching. This was the last of three on the hit list. Found it within 5 seconds of arrival at GZ. Call me "Hawkeye". [^] Thanks for the cache. I haven't ever tried one of Jimmy's famous pies - must add that to my bucket list. Thanks for the Pie-con.
After cycling the Roxburgh Gorge Trail and after a good dinner it was off to find a few cache in town with BaldEd.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
The log book is fill. Took me longer than it should have. It was well hidden. Tftc
No one around on this damp evening. Cache soon in hand & replaced rock as best as I could. Log full. TFTC
First checked out the artwork then followed the GPS a to another work of art. Never knew these originated in Invercargill or here. TFTC #7604
We were a bit late to buy the product but were impressed by the quality of the hide.

Very clever hide. Had to really believe in my gps. Found on a work trip, great excuse for a wee bit of geocaching.
Lucky it was pretty quiet so i could take my time looking. This one was on my to do list since it was created. Thats NZbirded
I had looked for this one previously but had had no luck. Today I really thought there was no chance as every man and his dog had stopped to buy a pie. The place was crawling with muggles, but the geo-nana and I managed to come up trumps with the cache. A sneaky hide but we spotted something out of place. TFTC
Well have an opp on my shoulder about 4 weeks ago and still got about 4 weeks to go before I'm back at work so I thought I would come visit some friends in Cromwell for a few days so while on the way i had to stop here for a quick park and grab but more importantly to get a pie or two. These are the best pie every yum yum. Took a few minutes to find this one but while having a coffee and a pie I found it. TFTC ☺
These pies are divine. Between us we had 5diff. Types of fillings and each one was great! The varieties wonderful and unusual, like leek And chicken, spinach and chicken. If you buy the pies from their shop. You get the full range.
The bide is cleverly placed and even when customer are consuming their delicious pies. You can still stealthily make the find. thank you very much for those cache.

We’re here from the UK on the trip of a lifetime with Geocaching as one of the ‘must do’ elements of the trip.
Thanks to the cache owner for an exceptionally good hide. Of course we had to buy pies and they were good but to be honest......Miles Better Pies in Te Anau are better (in our opinion !)

Took a while, walked down the gap just for fun. Very interesting public toilets.

What a great weekend getaway with the boys! We headed to Queenstown/Glenorchy for a maintenance run, and found a few caches on the way.
I was glad there was no one around as it took a while to spot! TFTC!!

Fairly tricky due to the muggle factor but after a pause and a think managed the find without being noticed.

Took a bit of looking but found it in the dark eventually. Sneaky sneaky. No rock but enough rocks around it
First ever geocache discovery. Loved the excitement when our son discovered it. We weren't really that sure about what we were looking for. ' Is it a bomb?' Was his question when we found it!
Think we saw it bit was approached by someone thinking we were going to rob the place! Very difficult for us.

On my way from Dunedin to Queenstown I was happy to make some cool finds today
(Allthough there are quite a few "dead caches" along the route! [xx(])
Thanks to the owners for hiding and maintaining the the "living" caches that I was able to find today [^] [^] - and cheers from Germany!
This one was requiring utmost stealth - soooooo many muggles around

The cache was reasonably obvious as I walked up. There was no stone covering it as the cache page suggests. Found a piece of stone on the ground and used that to hide the cache from anyone not actively looking for it. TFTC.
This one had us scratching our heads for a minute or two. Found with Aoraki Sheep and Woody104
Was busy inspecting the 'pie man' when the call went up that the find had been made. The pie man and other sculpture near the toilets are well worth a look. Found with Woody104 and debsnz
Great wee hide, found with Granville86a as we made our way home. Was going to stop yesterday but the area had people every where, TFTC
Found with Chosen1978, Quick find on a better day for caching. Passed thru yesterday with bus loads of muggles at GZ. TFTC
Used to stop here for a morning tea pie decades ago, when we were heading up to the Old Man for some XC skiing. Today we stopped for a cache on the way back down from biking on the Old Man - no chance to buy a pie this time, since it was closed. Thanks hookedNZ!
Found on 03/07/14 at 10:49:00 a.m.
Found whilst on a very fleeting visit to my old home turf.
There are lots of good things to be said about this cache.
The placers are quite young geocachers, the sculptured Pieman is well worthy of an inspection and, of course, there is the lure of indulging in a "Famous Jimmy's Pie."
Well done also on the cache page write-up with an interesting history as a bonus.
Thanks for the cache.hooked00

Found with ajbenn a couple of weeks ago on our way back from Dunedin. Always thought this deserved a cache so great to find one here.
Busy busy day. We brought our Jimmy's delight in Lawrence so didn't need another. The day was miserable and only 5.6 C. Pie sales must have been huge as pie eating is a good way to warm people up and there was a steady flow of customers to be avoided. Enjoyed the challenge of signing the log without being obvious... a pie would have been a good decoy. TFTC
Found at 12:00:00 p.m. on 14/02/2014.
Grabbed in-between the stream of muggles.

Waitangi Day, shop closed so could spend some time hunting for this one. Clever hide.
The Original Kiwi "Pie-con" (Central Otago) was transferred from Nzbirder to user hooked00
Good one . There are so many people going into this shop but with a bit of stealth the cache can be got. Thanks I enjoyed this little challenge and discovered a special place too
