Cache appears to be gone, and in addition the Council has changed the park sign so some of the information I used is no longer there. I'll redo the description and replace the cache soon.
Found the information required on Google since its no longer available. Got to the plaque and moved into a promising final but no luck with a cache.
Found the plaque via other means and think we have found the location of the cache, but no luck at site.
Unless I've missed something it seems like the signage for these parks may have been recently updated and no longer reflect the info in the cache description. Same goes for the other nearby multi.
Today l teamed up with Micaparamedic and Rabbitto after the nearby CITo for some catching shenanigans with a Merri walk ...this was one of the caches we located and signed along the wayWhat was harder the walk or the 3 of us trying to find this cache??

We found this cache today on a trip out past East Brunswick. Followed to almost where we were before then onto the nice hide at GZ. Thanks from D & HA B-A
Continuing the Tour of Brunswick - searching for mostly multicaches. The goal is to get back on track with 10% of all finds as multis.Still a few short of the mark, as I approach the 10K mark. Alsume.
After a false start with coordinates, a big search and no luck and speaking to the CO, I’ve finally managed to collect this cache. It’s there, it’s safe, and it’s dry! Thanks so much for the hide. With a final find, I’ve enjoyed every bit of this multi and the challenges it gave me.
One good thing about the rain… it keeps the muggles away. Thank you Alsume for placing and maintaining Russian Around Brunswick for us to find today.
After another crack at the coordinates - I found what I thought was the right place. Clue seemed to match, but still couldn't find the cache anywhere. Looked for a good 15 minutes in the most likely spot before giving up as going any wider gave way too many options. Will re check the coordinates, contact the CO in hope of some assistance and try again.
I think that we have been here maybe 4 or 5 times so I was very pleased to finally get a smiley here at last. It took some collaboration but the find was made. Thank you for bringing us here with this cache.
I hate to think of how many times we have been to this cache. GT37 and I have searched and searched and did I mention we have searched for this on numerous occasions. So very pleased to be able to log a find at last. Rather ironic as we were with a friend that had different coords. It was decided to search at our coords first then the other set. The friend made the find at our coords so everyone contributed to this find. Thanks for placing it. Interesting place of worship nearby.
I came here a few times but didn't succeed. As I was with a friend today, I realised that I had the calculations wrong previously and had been to a different area before today, which was the reason for the DNFs. According to the title, it seems that the rifle club where I was looking before would be the perfect place for it. Well, this was a quick find. It's finally time to turn the yellow smiley face. Thank you, Alsume, for the multi-cache.
The coordinates I found out me in the middle of the creek - having worked out that mistake, it will be a return visit to try again.
Followed the coordinates well but couldnt find the cache. A lot of people are saying the hint is very helpful but I have no idea what it means. Maybe someone can help me out.
Pretty sure this is the right area...

### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there Alsume,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers are not mind readers (unfortunately), so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, you have been in hospital, the area is in flood, or some other reason that has prevented attending to the cache, they can't tell what is going on.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).

Replaced log, plastic bag, and container lid. The container itself was not damaged but a tighter lid might help. Put it back in the original position so hopefully if it remains there it will stay dry.
I found a soggy logbook... I'm not sure if it is the current cache or the other one mentioned in the description. That will do!
Such a lovely way to spend a sunny Melbourne afternoon. Good one to solve and search for with kids. No heavy lifting required!
FINALLY FOUND IT.
Just needed a little courage. Placed in an annoying spot that isn't inconspicuous in any way. Needless to say I'm glad I found what I thought to be a bit of rubbish! TFTC

Nice multi thanks much! The clue helps a lot so follow it if you get stuck! We found the coordinates a bit off but not too bad. Thanks again
Looked around the obvious area as hint suggested. No luck, will try again another time
Looked under the obvious for 10 minutes but no luck... watch list.
Thanks to Alsume for the placement and fun.

Just on my 5km limit and definitely needed the hint but found it. Got the location yesterday it way too many muggles. TFTC
Awesome cache! I wanted to try an get a multi cache so I picked this one, as it is at one of my favourite parks. This will inspire me to try more multi caches!
We throughly enjoyed traipsing around the park . Lovely views from the hill! Tftc
I set off for the afternoon to collect some multis to boost my stats.
I parked near the first waypoint and made quick work of the answers. After a short stroll I set about collecting the information at WP2. I can see why there was some ambiguity however only one of the answers gives a logical GZ.
Once the coast was clear I took a closer look and soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks Alsume for the cache.

TFTC. The first waypoint was easy, the second way point there was some uncertainty about exactly which line We should be reading. Ended up in a laneway, that looked most unlikely. Suggestion: perhaps the clues for the second waypoint could be written less ambiguousLy
Thanks for the nice walk around the park anyway
Thanks for the nice walk around the park anyway
Such an exciting find! I always seem to get the numbers wrong with the waypoints but this one worked out well and the cache was found fairly quickly. Very fun
The spot was obvious, and we double checked the coords. Sad to say but we're pretty sure this one is missing....
DNF. Been having some trouble finding Alsume's caches in this area lately. My partner and I definitely had the coords correct, and we did get low and looked "under." Scoped the place and turned over everything. No cache. Will need another look next time.
Too many people but great clues and beaut park. Clearly everyone else loves it too! I’ll be back.
Well I finally got this one, while in the park shooting some hoops.. just thought I'd take another look as I see that had been a number of finds recently. Strange thing was it was in the place I had looked 3 or 4 times before, so not sure if it had been removed and put back or moved in heavy rain. Anyway Cache was finally in hand.
Thanks for the cache and the hide

Well hidden, took us a bit to spot. Didn’t bring a pen to sign unfortunately. E + T
Had a good look with Intel from cache owner (via fmh1977) and even lying on the ground I could see nothing other than lots of rubbish and plenty of good places to hide a cache, but no cache unfortunately.
Even with advice from the previous finder we were unable to locate this one. Possibly needs checking.
Couldn’t find it. The entrance to the park has recently been worked on so wondering if it’s been removed??
Drive by Jones Park a zillion times as it’s the way in and out of what seem to be frequent trips to Melb lately. No rush this time and on a multi mission for February. Those minarets look beautiful on the skyline. TFTC and incentive to stop.
While the sign at wp1 is currently face down and not accessible there is a second sign with the same information at S37 45.640 E144 58.725. Make sure to read the Jones Park side!
Out today to finish off Parkville series with Everlasting and Crank1.
Unfortunately, we were unable to locate a sign, due to construction work here so DNF here, thanks anyway.

Cannot get to GZ park is dug up and the sign is no longer there. Unless you already had Waypoint 1 this is currently not possible. Photos of park in current state attached.
#15093. Sunday at the Mega and here we are again out on the bikes - Robmc, The Morris and me! More nice riding along the trails etc adding our names to some Challenge Caches and a few others that we gathered up along the way.
Oh dear, Rob didn't follow his own advice from his found it log and led us here today on Sunday morning when it is not a good time to try to park. What with church goers and dog walkers it was a tad difficult. Searching for the cache took a while and it was not where he found it a couple of months ago. It is now back in position. The golden spires of this church are truly magnificent from all angles and in the sun today they were certainly sparkling.
Thanks Alsume

Mega time, we packed the bikes and headed south for a weekend of caching, company and
lychee beer.
Day 2 and we headed down the Merri Creek trail collecting a few caches along the way with Robmc and BettyBoo. The cache was in the first place we looked, but not the first time we looked - it was well camo'd under there. Lots of dog walkers today and the streets were packed with the cars of the church goers.
Thanks for adding to a terrific weekend Alsume

Time for another adventure to attend the MEGA in Parkville VIC. Plans were made with Rapidlywild to work on all the puzzles around the area before the trip and head down to this event together. Lots of fun was had collecting all types of caches over the long weekend/week which included puzzles, multi's, earth caches, labs, trads and even a couple of virtuals for good measure, (think we may have to invest in an e-bike).
No problems with this one.
TFTC Alsume and thanks Rapidlywild for the giggles and another great adventure.

The first day of the Melbourne Parkville Mega event with the Godfather Freddo and gridge98, and we spent the day finding a few caches by car, learning about the SA Millicent 2020 Mega event, and then riding around the various river and rail bike trails collecting the Parkville caches. We ended the day by checking in to the Mega event, performing some lab caches, before having a nice cooked BBQ.
This cache and contents turned out to be all good. Thanks heaps for the work and preparation towards this cache! Cheers.

Well its MEGA time again and plans were put in place with the FurfacesLL ladies for another weekend of fun and trouble Had the company of one of the ladies just for the weekend however was lucky enough to have the company of FFLL#1 for the drive down, across the weekend, as well as a week in and around the Gippsland area. We attended a number of events, visited a number of Earthcaches, virtuals and a nice number of caches. Many challenges collected and many multis completed.
Nice simple multi, interesting read No issues once at GZ, found nice and quickly.
Thanks for the cache hide Alsume and the ladies of FurfacesLL for another great caching adventure away from home

My first weekend of solid caching in forever!
Although attending all the Vic mega events over the past few years I have always been to busy to go out and find caches. This weekend is going to be different! I drove down from Wangaratta early to start cycling the creek trails. I was out with a few cachers today so the log books were signed DFGJK being our initials.
I apologize for the completely generic logs but I didn’t have enough battery charge or time to make any notes throughout the day. We had a lot of fun exploring a part of town I probably never would’ve seen otherwise, so TFTC’s
KB with the awesome find here!

xApologies for the generic log below:
Away for the weekend with Freddo and Davidwazza to the Parkville Mega.
My first mega that I had attended and I had a really enjoyable time.
Some of the log books were signed with my name others were signed with just a G part of the group name, a combination of KBJGD.
We were happily joined by KB who was a machine finding a lot of the caches.
Thanks to the CO for all the placement of caches, the earyh caches answers will be sent in the coming days also.
We were very successful in finding majority of caches but some we DNF.

Unable to answer the questions as the sign is laying face down behind a construction fence.
This afternoon I picked up surefoot24 from Preston and we spent a few hours geocaching along the Upfield Bike Path. We had a unsuccessful start with 2 DNFs but then regained our caching sense and found 7 Parkville caches.
The path was very busy with lots of fast paced cyclists who seemed to have little patience with two middle aged ladies enjoying a walk and talk in the sun.
We visited WP1 last month but ran out of time to complete the cache. Today we visited WP2 and then proceeded to the vicinity of the Final location. There is landscaping going on and some of the garden has been fenced off. After reading the hint we were sure where the cache may be but were unable to perform a thorough search of the area without attracting attention to ourselves. If we revisit the area we will search again, or this DNF will remain with pride.
Thank you Alsume for this cache.

We were frustrated and disappointed with both Multi caches in this park. We’d collected the information to get to Waypoint 2 . From there we were able to get the coordinates for the last Waypoint. Unfortunately the area indicated by our finding devices to be hiding the cache was surrounded by temporary fencing. We searched places we thought might be cache hides, but had no luck finding the cache today. Two out of two DNFs to start the afternoon’s caching off didn’t please us.
They are digging a rather large hole on the south east corner of the park, and have decided to dump the resultant dirt near the hill, baracading the track in between and a fair bit of the park.
Despite this, this cache and its way points are still available.
Coming to this area on a Sunday morning, in hindsight, was not a good idea - no parking anywhere (should have ridden the bike!).
It was a nice walk around the park though.
I have seen the church before (from the bike trail), but never come to this nice park.
Enjoyed the walk and the cache.
Thanks, Robmc.

After walking along the nearby Merri Creek collecting caches I thought one more cache was in order. A multi was decided upon because without kids I had more time to calculate numbers without them getting annoyed. This was a very simple straightforward multi and after a nice walk through the park I arrived at GZ and easily found the cache. Many thanks for highlighting the beautiful church. In fact I'd seen it from the walking track so it was nice to view the whole place.
This one took me a couple of goes. Reading earlier comments helped me, as did coming back when there was no one around. TFTC
Today was another ladies day for Mrs xambo4u, echidna44 and Mrs 80. We had a lovely day in the sunshine signing off some of the challenges, including a few multis, traditional and letterboxes along the way. TFTC.
This used to be the way we travelled to the city many years ago.

Today I had an annual leave day from work so I decided to bring the bike over to ride the trails here to find some of the new Parkville Challenge caches that had popped up recently. It was pretty chilly on the hands so the gloves were out for the first couple of hours which made it quite annoying using the phone having to take them off. The forecast 10% chance of rain didn't happen though so that was great. I tried to do most caches I came across on the trails including, letterboxes, multis, trads and challenges so the day had plenty of variety.
I have had a new 500 multi challenge placed near my house so since I was near these 2 I cruised around the parks gathering clues and made the 2 finds.
I initially looked here and thought it was part of the other rubbish, a closer look and it was not.
Thanks Alsume for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

I was sat having my morning coffee trying to work out where I would go caching today when I heard the notifications come through for some more of the Parkville caches.
I decided to bring my bike to the area and grab some of them and do a few more in the area. This multi has been popping up on my raday for a while so today I took the time to gather the information, enjoy the views, and find the cache. TNLN. TFTC.

No rush today. I stopped to find this cache on a drive home in difficult conditions. I followed the clues for a nice easy find. Nice view at WP2, helps you to explore the park. I arrived at GZ, I thought I saw some debris but it was the cache! Thank you

The view from this park is amazing. Found cache reasonably quickly, which is good because it was a hot day.
You will save time if you check every move you make in the two caches in this park.
I did more walking than I should have! Thanks Alsume.

Three things can ruin any geocache. This is true no matter what the age of the cache and whether a geocache is a creative hide, a geocache that delivers hikers deep into the untamed wilderness, or fantastical Puzzle Cache with a big surprise twist.
If the geocache is soaked through with water, the container is cracked or geocachers don't know it's a geocache because it's not marked/identified, it's what some people call a #fail.
To avoid the #fail, CO's need to make sure their geocache is D2W compliant. It should be:
- Durable
- Water-tight
- Well-marked
This cache is carrying one or more logs which suggest some attention by the cache owner is needed in this regard.
The guidelines advise that the CO should make regular visits to check on the cache as well as promptly address any logs that indicate that the cache requires some attention. If you can not attend to the issue promptly, then you need to Disable the cache - I have disabled it this time.
Please respond to this situation (or indicated your intentions including a date) by **18th January**, otherwise it will be necessary to withdraw the cache from the Active listing.
**And don't forget,** once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; [Removing the Needs Maintenance Icon](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; [Temporarily Disable and Enable ](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) to get your cache up and running again.

A perfect evening to walk up from Fitzroy North to the multi and visit this park for the first time. I was unsure if my WP2 answers were correct but at GZ it was quite clear where the cache was much to my relief. Great little multi! TFTC.
The cache and contents are wet so needs time to dry out or changed. Still ok though.
Woo! Found it! Thanks for the walk and thanks for the cache. Log book has seen better days. TNLF.
Out with xambo4u, we walked past the magnificent Russian Orthodox Church on our way to the multi. We collected the clues, and walked all around before finding the well hidden cache. Thanks Alsume
Out and about with Echidna44 for a day of some cold caching. It could make up its mind to be cold, windy or wet but that is Melbourne. Well this was a real eye opener here. What a builiding and what a location. Great little walk around this nice little park and a nice easy find. Loved seeing an area that we dont come to.
Thanks for bringing us here Alsume
Thanks for bringing us here Alsume
A cold Melbourne winter morning but after taking the kids to soccer we had a bit of spare time so stopped off at this nearby park on the way home. After recently updating my phone I've been having a bit of trouble with gps accuracy having me somewhere around 30 metres or so off track but with a bit of difficulty we worked out both waypoints on our way to GZ. A quick search from one side and then the other before we spotted the hide. Thanks for the cache Alsume, now back inside out of the cold.
